Title: Bitcoin price. Will go up? or Will go down below $8600? over the night
Post by: aosis on January 20, 2020, 05:29:42 PM

Hey guys. It's been almost two days that Bitcoin price stays still.

I am on the tipping point of whether or not to buy Bitcoin now around $8650..

What do you guys think?

Btw, has anyone experienced BISPEX exchange known as its insurance funding?

Buy bitcoin now before the price rises again now bitcoin is back green maybe in the next few days bitcoin will soon reach $ 9,000 again and before you are too late.
With yesterday's decline becoming an opportunity for us to buy and sell it in the next few days I am sure about that even though not in my analysis this will still increase again.

if you feel that the price will still rise then buy now but if you are not, then monitor the price and wait for a few days. we can't advise you on what price you should buy because
we too are just speculating and just trusting our instinct when deciding whether we should buy now or not. also, I think the thread should be in Speculation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0) I suggest you move it there.

If you think this is the cheapest price then buy but if you think it's still high enough then wait. Whatever you do it is still in you as the last decision to be made. Just don't rely too much on the people about of your investment because you will never gonna learn if you don't commit any mistakes.

In any case, the current price of bitcoin is not the highest and during this year it will rise more than once. Therefore, if you buy Bitcoin now, then in any case, in the future you will make a profit. But when it is better to buy it, here hardly anyone will give the right advice. The price of bitcoin may now temporarily fall, or may rise.

Well, that's the point. BTC has stood at $8.6k for a few days now, and obviously, has failed it's rally last time when it tried to push past through the $9k barrier. So far, it hasn't made any big moves after dropping off to $8.6k which makes predicting its possible movements afterwards hard. I'm more into the bullish side since I expect am above $10k or so by mid February, but that's solely my belief tbh.

The $8500 support has been tested 3 times and held up each time it was tested. So I don't think that it's wise to expect much more downside compared to the potential upside when it comes to BTC potentially breaching $9k and $10k once again after the weak hands were flushed out of the market.

Do your own due diligence, but I do think that dollar cost averaging right now would be a wise move to make.

That way, you ensure that you don't run the risk of entering your positions at too high a price but at the same time, not missing out on any bullish price action.

What do you guys think?

There is a significant amount of support at $8300 to $8600 range. The current drip from $9200 back to $8600 is just a mere correction, with the bullish pace of Bitcoin's price by the start of the year I'd say we'll reach $10000 soon even before Q2 of this 2020.

I think the market will recover as soon as possible, and after a series of discussion together with my friend who's a trader; the relative strength index show higher potential that we will be achieving another spikes sooner. For now I am looking forward to see more advanced movements which triggers more buying demand in each promising coins.

don't make people FUD, for fear the price will go down. in my opinion the price won't go faster this month, I see some predictions saying the price might go down.
but it all depends on each prediction respectively. but let's look at the next few days, whether the price will stabilize above 8500 or will go down through support. if it is stable it can certainly back above 9k.

I don't think that bitcoin will go up or down in over the night, but that could be possible as we know that bitcoin can go to any price without notice. We can only prepare for anything that can happen to the bitcoin price so we can be ready for the current situations, and we can decide what we need to do next. We need to be careful right now because bitcoin still up and down, and we know that bitcoin price yesterday goes down below than $9000, and the bitcoin price still at $8600 range price.

In my opinion, for whatever it matters, in a year from now the price of BTC will be way above 10k. So from my perspective it doesn't really matter if it goes up or down a couple dozens or even hundreds $.

Whether it will go up or down  tonight... No idea. My crystal ball is out of order atm. Just buy some. If it goes lower buy some more. In other words, just cost average and don't invest more than you're willing to lose. ;D

Actually I mind those things since I'm doing a day trade and yet every position is important to earn some good percentage but if the hype will start maybe I will join on the holders club and will not care for the price to go up and down.

But if people really doubting to buy right now maybe the best thing they can do is to read up some helpful articles and see the market flow so that they can get an idea on when is the correct time to place their orders.

if the price drops it won't be under $ 7,700, so it might be safer if you buy it below $ 8,000 if the price keeps going down but if the price keeps holding at $ 8600, it seems like this is the right time where you can buy it, but just don't have to hurry buy it if you want to get quick profits, just wait for the moment in the next 2 to 5 days  ;D

This price isn't bad at all since we are expecting a new all time high so even if you buy bitcoin now at $8000 price you will surely get a good amount of profit once the bull run comes. It is always good to buy bitcoin at its lowest price and I think $7000-$8000 is a lowest price so far so don't miss the opportunity before the price will go up again.

If you can embrace the risk then why not? We do have all the control if we would buy into these levels or not.

We do saw that the price had tanked and stayed on 8500 price but we cant be sure if there would be a pullback or would
head up on 5 digit price. Its totally unpredictable if i were to say and this had been always the question of many.

The price of Bitcoin could still drop but I think this is just temporary. This is a small correction before we see the bull run continue in advance of the halving that is coming in May.

Yes. It's only been TWO days. I see no reason for you to panic that much and choose an immediate position. Well, if you're fine with taking risks, go do so. The recent rally of BTC to $9k failed which led to it dropping down to $8.6k, and it moving sideways isn't really anything surprising. Just compare it to how last years Q4 movement came about, constant sideways movement. After numerous tries to breakthrough the barriers, it continuously did as such. Only when a few weeks after the new year did BTC managed to push through to $8k, managing to continue to push to $9k, which again, as I said, failed.

We should all be glad to see that the price is somewhat trading sideways. It also shows that there are a lot of support @$8600 and the bulls are still in control of the market.

As far as when we're going to make a break out run, no one can really tell, everything is still base on the sentiments, supply and demand and FOMO.

Don't worry too much about the price of bitcoin at this stage. The price is accumulating and will definitely go up this week, after the bitcoin price went above $ 9000, there was a price adjustment, but fortunately the price did not collapse too deeply. $ 9100 will be the next price that bitcoin will go up this week and buy lots of bitcoins before it's too late this year.

Maybe I don't want to wake up and see it drops down but does it real to happen?
Quite that a really speculative one asking for a dump or pump in just a night? I don't think that we all play the market and see the incoming changes.
I could say, its either of the two.

The prices can always change overnight, its everyone's fear specially those who margin trade.
It hasn't dropped below $8600 yet but if it had to go down, it must be in the 8300 support. It will seesaw a bit in these range before pumping up again to break that 9k. Just my opinion though because I'm bullish and want the price to rise. Many people in facebook are also bullish.

Only in case i have free money, i will buy it. Maybe my time to stop buy is around max $12000. After that, i will only hold bitcoin that i have without buy or sell it, when halving come and bitcoin price is increased, or maybe although need more time after halving, i am ready to wait that time.

Well, bitcoin doesn't move constantly, you can't expect it to be volatile all the time, that would be unsustainable for bitcoin as well, no one trades that frequently and that much. Sure there are day traders but they are few and rare in between compared to long holders and exchanges who keep the money in their cold wallets. True fact is that bitcoin does a move quickly and inside a day, it goes from 7k to 9k in few days, then it has to stop, what can it do? Go from 7k to 9k and then to 11k to 13k and continue like that?

Eventually it will have to stay at the same price and we are at that position right now. Maybe it will go up next, maybe it will go down (I think up is bigger chance) but in the end we can't expect it to do it so quickly, we have to give it some time to recover and recollect itself.

It's better to buy already if you see what is the stable price because if you wait longer you might missed your chance to buy the cheapest price. Don't think too much thinking that it would rise or drop, no one could actually say what would be the next price in the future. So, be resourceful on your own and stop asking for any advices from the other people.

Buy a bit every week or every month. As much as you can easily afford to lose. That way you dont bother if that day was expensive or cheap. Over longer period of time your buying price will get to medium.

Usually, when the price moves this way, it is in the accumulation stage and will move up in a few weeks. It is a good idea to buy some bitcoins now while it is accumulating. And even if the price does not move as we expected in the near future, we have a very bullish market sentiment for 2020. It is very likely that you will have a positive profit at the end of the year even if you purchase at the current price.

Now the bitcoin market is progressive so it would be beneficial if you buy it now and stay active to avoid any loss even in case of any possible dump, suppose if you buy at a future just set a reminder to sell out if the value drops by more than $50 to avoid incurring loss and then buyback when it starts to recover. It's not easy to just invest and relax assuming we will get ROI as we used to do in the past.

We are in a uptrend but we can't guarantee where it was heading right now so for me it would be better if we are going to wait for a move to where it is really heading into. I sold in the last drop yesterday because i think it was going down but it was only a fake drop so for me i am waiting for the real volatile move to where it going and ride the trend.

I am guessing you are among those that were waiting when the price was low to get lower before buying. Recently, I feel no one can specifically tell anyone whether to buy or not. The decision is yours, you can either choose to buy or not. You don't have to let anyone decide for you since it has to do with your money.
But buy with money you are willingly to forgo, it doesn't necessarily have to be 1btc, some satoshi can do and remember not to expect a quick return.

It seems you have doubts.well, if you feel you have to buy bitcoin at that price then buy it without having to think too much because if you think too much it will make you get many choices and increasingly doubt the decision you will make. my suggestion, because many people already assume and often say that bull signals have appeared so buy it immediately while there is a chance.

Just like you, we don't even know on where btc is going. Since we have a fall already and btc stays still, I guess it's safe to say that you can buy now, just my thoughts. Even if price will go down from the time you've bought, I think it won't hurt that much and will recover again. We are still in good run since we have a strong support at $8.5k floor. If the fall cause panic, we shouldn't be stays still, but it's not. This is just my opinion, follow your guts first before others. It's better if you use to make your own decisions.

Price to buy bitcoin at safe margin was around 7000$. In my view, this price is a bit high to buy BTC. If you are looking to buy btc then wait for next dip. Bitcoin wont be going only up, just be ready with some cash and catch btc when it start coming around 7k$.

The good sentiment market has been coming, I'm still believe that bitcoin price will go up again later.

You should be calm to face this step and just focus to the target as you wanted. And I think you should choose long term trade at least until halving event comes.

Bitcoin price may go down and up so it is unpredictable. If we are willing to invest that you can afford to lose invest some btc. As we know we cannot foretell if what price of bitcoin will heading. So still it is your own decision whether to accumulate btc at this stage.

For all these questions we would need a cristal ball and if we new the answers we would have been rich people.
At current moment it's hard to determine precise direction that price will go. I don't expect some significant grow but we might touch 9000$ although not for long because another corrections might happen. To my opinion price has tendency to fluctuate and go back and forth in the upcoming period.

It seem Bitcoin had been going sideway this past few days, I wonder when will it start to rally again.  Analyst are quite separate in their preditcions.  It seems Bitcoin is unable to break  important two resistance ($8.7k , *$8.8k) for it to rally towards $9k and above.  Some analyst stated that if this two resistance is broken, the path to $9.5k will be easy.

First of all what kind of trading are you unto if you are going for short term trade probably, you should wait more for Bitcoin to drop because there are some speculations expected that Bitcoin will drop before the halving. However, if you are going for long term trade I think it doesn't necessarily when you are going to buy but much better if you will do it right now.

Hey guys. It's been almost two days that Bitcoin price stays still.
And another two days later, bitcoin is still stalled out at around $8650--but that's what it does from time to time.  It's quite possible that it'll stay range-bound for a while (as in months), because that's happened a number of times in the past after relatively big gains.  It's impossible to say what's going to happen, and believe me I wish I knew.

It's times like these when I start wondering if bitcoin is going to break to the upside or crash back to whatever support levels TA people think exist.  This time I have a feeling that bitcoin will go higher once it starts moving, mainly because of the upcoming halving, but I can't tell you how many times I've been wrong in the past.  We're all just going to have to wait and see--just like always.

Considering the "long term" people have been talking about is literally years in the future, I think we are still at a good buy place if you plan on holding it for long term. However if you are a short term trader we still have no idea if it will go up or down.

All I know is that price goes up and doesn't stop when it goes up to huge numbers, it doesn't just go up, stay, down a bit, continue up, stay, down a bit and cycle like that to higher levels, it just goes up without ever stopping, so it means that even if the price goes up again in the near future, it won't be as crazy as some predictions, it would be just around 10-11k at most by the looks of it. That is still profitable and you can still aim for that if you want but I don't know if that worths the risk involved right now.

What do you guys think?
Well, bitcoin recently just dropped at $8,521, and it seems it will continue to fall down as it break the support level. So I don't think that is safe to buy yet though you could but I just kind of feel that there will be more better opportunity to buy down below. Well, depends upon you, who knows that it might pump up later, right?

The price now is at $8,410 which actually when down a bit but I think this is only temporary the price has a strong resistance at $8,000 so if it will go down I think it won't go down below $8k mark. This should be a good time to buy coin since the price is lower, it is a good opportunity to increase your coins.

Yes, bitcoin will pump up now as it was $8k so it is getting higher we just keep waiting and will have to wait for more recovery and there is nothing wrong to wait as crypto is our future especially the bitcoin so I think after few years the price will cross  $8k yet more adoption will contribute the price to be higher and letting the market get wider with more purchases at this time.

Bitcoin is the origin of cryptocurrencies, so all the altcoins are stay backward only it is really interesting to adopt global currency soon. But If we discuss about price value 8k USD is was crossing already so why we for few years. I think you little confused in crypto growing, basically continuous investment make rapid growth at the same time peoples are think enough profit so continuous drop also occur suddenly. I hope long term relationship is good for BTC.

Are you aware about the elliott wave? There is a deep pullback that happen right now where the price breakdown. If the price recovers where it beat the previous high which is at around $9000 then there will be a next wave happen. A typical wave consists of 5 parts, the 2nd part and the 4th parth are the pullbacks. The 1st, 3rd and the 5th are the markup stages. We are in the 2nd wave and I know that it is just a healthy pullback where the bitcoin can easily surpass its current resistance.

If it just were that easy to determine dude. The thing is, we don't know how long this second wave is going to last. That is if we're following your elliott wave, which i don't think is even that much reliable in reading the chart movement.

Right, if bitcoin can be predicted by this method easily and accurately the a lot will be millionaires now but sad to say bitcoin is more than that. The theory does have a point but I can't say that it is 100% accurate or reliable because of the fact that no strategy was able to predict the price of bitcoin consistently but who knows maybe this would be the first.

Hey guys. It's been almost two days that Bitcoin price stays still.
I am on the tipping point of whether or not to buy Bitcoin now around $8650..
What do you guys think?
If you can embrace the risk then why not? We do have all the control if we would buy into these levels or not.

We do saw that the price had tanked and stayed on 8500 price but we cant be sure if there would be a pullback or would
head up on 5 digit price. Its totally unpredictable if i were to say and this had been always the question of many.

Many people are now scared to invest because after a continuous uprise happened recently, they got their hopes up and now that thr market value is again falling, it confuses them to do their thing. Keep in mind how volatile the market is and decide if you are ready to take risk in order to earn profit at the end. The market behavior is way unpredictable so be sure that the amount that you would invest is an amount you can afford losing. Just think twice or mofe becore engaging yourselves because regret is painful to experience.

The market will rise very soon so be positive about investing your money. Market ups and down is so common there is nothing to worry about I have seen rise and fall in my entire journey of investment that's why bitcoin is expanding more. Last year the price was down but now it has begun to improve,  we don't need to worry about losing as bitcoin is a golden coin to invest your money.

indeed it is very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin. sometimes I also feel confused to buy now or postpone it. I usually wait for the price of bitcoin to fall and the next day if the price of bitcoin stays down, I will immediately buy. I didn't delay too long because I was afraid that if we delayed too long we would be too late because the price of bitcoin would soon rise again. so buy bitcoin when it goes down.

So, Bitcoin price again come back to 8600 USD after going down to 8200! Bitcoin price growth was positive throughout the month! Chinses new year did not affect in BTC price! Now I believe the price will be taken over to 9100 USD again and this time the rally will stop in 10K USD, not before.

Even just an hour, we can expect any changes coming through. Thus, we don't need to to worry about this and I don't think we need to make the downfalls will settling down coz any moment it pumps back high again. However, it's either we dump to $8,500 or even goes high for +$100 it is never been a reason to be disappointed. We will have to understand that volatility still exist.

Don't think. Just buy the damn bitcoin.
Sooner or later it will still go up.
If you are in trading though, that is a different story.
It is like asking here how to make profit in a simpler way. Risk will always be there. Better get yourself ready.
But if you are just going to keep it. You can buy it now and just keep it safe.
Go back in a year and then you will see what happiness is.  ;D

in fact, if you buy bitcoin at that price, you will get a profit now. however, do not hesitate to have it, because if you are a person who believes the price of bitcoin will rise, then that price is still included in the cheap price group. besides, I feel that the current price growth is not yet optimal. if you want to ask to buy a bitcoin or not, make sure that the price of bitcoin is above $ 15000.

Btw, has anyone experienced BISPEX exchange known as its insurance funding?

in my opinion don't think too much because if you delay buying too long you will lose a good opportunity to buy. immediately buy and then hold it I am very optimistic that this year bitcoin can reach the price of $ 13,000 we just need to be patient and wait until bitcoin can reach the price we want. the current increase I think is also a sign that 2020 is the year for the rise in bitcoin.

It won't go down that far OP it is too much, events are near and bitcoins popularity will be hype again but not that much that able to reach maybe $20k. for me, it will goes up around $15k or not that less. we reach new high score again and we will earn as much profit if we wanted.

Could have done it right if you have bought at that price.
$400 difference by now. Some may say that is a lot already but not all.
Still, there are those who are looking for hitting the ATH once again.

If you are trading though, let us say with 2 BTC then you are making good profits by now.
Now the question. Will it stay with $9k or will it fall again in just a week or maybe a couple.

I personally wouldn't buy around these prices now, I would probably wait for another week or so and see how the bitcoin reacts to these things before buying. If the price goes down I would start buying but if it starts to go up then I would keep from not buying and waiting.

Let's assume it is around $9k right now right? That means if you watch bitcoin go down the $8.5k or whatever price it falls and stays there for a day, buy from those levels and make a long haul and wait until $10k, however if it doesn't go down and just goes up to $9.5k or higher, stop and not even buy any satoshis because buying while going up is not a good idea, it may go down and you may end up holding at the top prices. The market is filled with people who bought at $20k and they are still upset about it.

today bitcoin gives a good increase. reach $ 9300. if yesterday you already bought, I think you have benefited. about the price of bitcoin going up or down. it's all cycles. and today the bitcoin cycle will continue to rise. maybe until later before halving. I'm sure bitcoin will have a good increase of more than $10,000 until halving is done.

as long as bitcoin price is below $10k I think it's good to buy because sooner or later it will go above $10k and this year will be a bullish time with a halving event that all of us know how history always brings bitcoin price to an increase.

Little possibility for bitcoin going down under $8,600 because bitcoin hit more than $9,300 today and keep increase to higher price until bitcoin halving time and raise above $20,000. You need to check how bitcoin keep going on to higher price after Chinese new year and look positive way to invest with bitcoin and altcoin now.
of course bitcoin is still possible to drop below $9,000, but with a note, if the current increase cannot break at $9.5-9.6k. but if it's break, the price will definitely reach $10k. If you look at the history of halving, there is no significant increase at the time halving occurs. but whatever happens, at least halving will create a positive trend I hope it continues to be above $10k and never down again under $10k until the peak at 2021.
