My account Destroyeroff98 has been hacked. Please restore account and reset the email to Destroyeroff98@yandex.ru

And I had to block my account.
Please return access to my account.
I am from Ukraine, but email changed from Alabama US.

Can you sign a message to a bitcoin address publicly linked to the hacked account (to prove that you are the owner of the account?)

Can you sign a message from this bitcoin address -

did you stake an address?

did you do sales and purchases from a lot of forum members?


if you did. and you prove you control the address you can be helped.


If you know a local person near you with a membership here on bitcointalk with a staked address maybe you can be helped.

If you don’t know anyone and if you dont have a staked address it will be very hard to fix it.

I am sorry for you. very annoying but normally you can be helped :)

Sign a message from the address & post it here.
A mod SHOULD be able to grant you access to the account.

Yes, it is verified.  But I think you should add in the message todays time / date that will be better look IMO. Now follow the instruction which is posted by previous comments. Good luck, I hope you will successfully recover the account.

He’s much better to speak to regarding getting your account back than me. You’ve proved ownership of the account though. They shouldn’t need anything else from you.

Yes, he's a moderator. But no need to contact him, a moderator can't unban or change the email address of an account. Only admins can do it or the Cryptios team. Follow the procedure in the link we gave you, it's the best solution.

I wrote to e-mail in November 2019 and unsuccessfully.

All I can say is : try again :). Did you sign a message in your first mail ? It's an important part of the process of getting your account back.
Cryptios guys are hanging around this section, maybe they'll contact you.

Also, when you sign the message... make sure, as advised earlier, that you include the current data and the reason why you're signing the message. The message you have signed above is relatively meaningless for the purposes of account recovery. It could have been written any time for any reason.

Better to sign a message like this:

Messege: Today is January 22nd 2020 and I am signing this message to prove that I am the original owner of Bitcointalk.org account: Destroyeroff98

try PM via email that has been recommended you might be guided to complete the command from him but most of the accounts that have been hacked to my knowledge can not be saved what else has changed the email to recover the password of the account

But still I really want to restore my account, I hope something works out.

I think that will go a long way to helping you recover your account. From what I've seen previously, it can take a while, so you'll just need to be patient...

In the Thread is already several times the correct procedure. Just hold on to it and then it works.

Does this have to be reset by admins-only or can moderators also initiate the reset after he address message has been verified?

Mods have no power to do it.

In the past, the recovery process was only done by admins, because it would even take over a year of waiting for one's account to be recovered but later a team was then introduced to manage the account recoveries -  You can check this thread for more details: Cryptios (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5138349.0)
