it won't touch again under $ 6k if this year we really passed $ 10k before halving, at least if prices go above $ 10k before bitcoin halving for low prices and down will touch and play at $ 8k prices, high prices hopefully it comes out at prices $ 20k until the end of the year, but I cannot guarantee any of your trades, I am happy with long-term investments, so it's only a suggestion if you buy it now selling next year, but you decide it all to trade at your own risk.  ;)

I bought a few days ago and now I am more restrained because I believe bitcoin will rise again with new prices, I think you are also not too late to buy bitcoin now and still say in the low price it is possible that in the next few days bitcoin will soon ride.
I bought bitcoin because it will deal with halving so believe in the increase later.

For this year, I don't think Bitcoin will touch a new all-time high but I do believe at least after halving the price will slightly go up and there will be positive trends. For the next year, I do believe the price will continue to increase, much faster than this year but let's see there could be a new ATH.

For now, I would HODL. Ideally you bought some last year when the price is very low and sell by the end of next year. But for short term trade, I have no comment.

If the halving creates a lot of hype, we might see a new ATH early this year.

My prediction is we will see a price like a maximum of $30,000 and a minimum of $10,000 this year.
All these depends on how the market will move in the succeeding months, but I like to believe that halving will be a great contribution for market improvement.

Bitcoin is unlikely to get within the $5k range this year, it in subsequent years years. The lowest value in 2019 was around $3k and we should not be seeing that range again, except there is a massive collapse in the network.
This year could launch us into the next a time high, although I don't think we'll see it this year though, we'll probably see the $15-17k as the all year high for 2020.

This year bitcoin is volatile and a bit stable for last few days. Despite so many rumours bitcoin still firmly holding 8600$ and refuses to go further down. We have coin halving and Hope's are that it may take bitcoin to higher stable value. I have positive hope this year.

I think the bottom is already in (mid $6K) and won't go lower this year. As for the highs, I would aim for retesting $13K-$14K that Bitcoin touched last year and if it broke that resistance, new all time high is a good possibility. Now I don't know what range will it hit, have to look into it later.

The best move for now would be to start buying. Don't buy in a single, lump-sum order, but instead ladder your order. Spread it in $6K-$8K range so you'll get a better average price. This is the move that I would take if I want to buy a large amount of Bitcoin right now.

this is the type of question very complicated to answer, until a few months ago they ( analysts, experts and " reputable people " ) said that the price would fall below $6000, then there was the insident that involved the USA and Iran and the price increased a lot until $9200 and then it dropped to $8600 (up to a few days it dropped to $8460). still has many months to go to halve and this creates many doubts whether it is worth buying now or waiting a few months. You will need to decide on your own

I think with the happenings around that shows bitcoin can be considered as a hiding place which will in turn increase it price just as we saw two weeks ago. Now halving is expected, for me investing this year before halving will be a good decision.

Most actions of BTC exceeding the ATH is always at the point of a year or so after the halving. The current halving which would occur at May 2020, dictates that by the end of the year, the price would only most likely go equal to ATH, or a few thousand dollars below it. Still, that's just based on past rise and falls. If we were to consider the current 2020, There's still lacking information regarding the possibility of BTC moving about and exceeding the ATH. Movement in mid year would probably show us what format or pattern BTC would follow though.

I believe that the price of bitcoin will be very high this year, and I think holding it back or adding it will be very good. but, I don't know whether bitcoin will reach the new ATH or not because what I think is, even when the price of bitcoin reaches the price of $ 15,000, it has been a remarkable development. continue to hold your assets until it arrives.

All options are possible, who can accurately predict the price of BTC? We can only speculate in light of our desires and hopes, but we can also consider some things from the past that at least give us some guidance as to which direction the price may move.

There are strong and undeniable facts that tell us that the past 2 halvings have caused big price increases. The first halving was in 2012, and its pre-halving effect was that price has gone up over 300%, and post-halving (1 year after halving) price is literally exploded for 8000%. Second halving in 2016 also had a positive pre-halving effect with price increase by 100%+, and again an incredible increase of 2800% year and a half after halving.

If we consider the beginning of 2019 and the price of $3000, we can say that we already have pre-halving growth, and it is quite realistic that it will continue throughout the year, especially in the second half of the year.

This is by no means financial advice, just a look back at the past and speculation about what might happen in the future.

Expect at least a 100% increase by the end of the year. Around November - December would probably the time for the halvings effect to kick in, and most traders are just watching right now, on stand by and waiting. By mid year, some might spread FUD so that the market loosens up so that they could profit more, so take care of that. Still, judge with your own eyes whether those news are FUD or not, but I solely believe that BTC might reach $16k before the end of the year.

Bitcoin has been volatile all of the time. It's the attached character that it has ever since it was created.

What do you think of the market? this will determine your goal by buying bitcoin. If you are shorting and you are uncertain buying right now, don't do it because you might feel bad if you see the market goes down a bit quickly. But if your plan is the last question you have, then do it and hold it until you are satisfied of selling it.

My lowest prediction maybe around $7000 and my highest and still hope it can get more than that is $18000. But i really believe although i can't analyze market, bitcoin price will boosted because of next halving that will come in this year.

Yeah maybe with the information about halving bitcoin, then the demand for bitcoin will continue to increase, now we can see that bitcoin prices are starting to rise slowly, this is a positive thing for crypto. I can't imagine that when it gets closer to halving, the demand will increase, so don't let us buy at a higher price than now. Maybe buying now will be better than later when the price is more expensive.

Maybe it will around $13k, that's the higher prediction might be possible to reach this year. all the hype happen last 2017 is not what we actually feel right now, so the price won't reach new high record even we have a big event to come. halving season is not giving all hype what we need and what to expect in my opinion. holding is much better to do now to avoid any regrets.

it won't touch again under $ 6k if this year we really passed $ 10k before halving
Hmm....I'm not sure about that at all.  I do have a feeling that bitcoin will probably get back to $10k at some point (but who knows when), but I'm much less sure that it couldn't crash back to $6k even if it did get as high as $10k.  The reason I say that is because I think the halving will probably draw a lot of speculators into the market who otherwise might not be buyers of bitcoin, and that's going to introduce a lot more volatility--if my premise is true, of course.  So a $4000 movement up or down is more than possible.

I think that this years bottom is what we are seeing now in my opinion.
I'd like to be as optimistic as you are, but I'm not so sure that we're at the low right now.  Or we might be.  Last year the lowest prices were right at the beginning of the year, so we could see a repeat of that.

I believe we saw the lowest prices already = the double W-bottom at around $6500. We are out of the channel for good and have a lot of time to break through resistances on the way up and to establish new support levels.

Better you hold for buying bitcoin because look not stable with higher price and always down suddenly can give opinion and reason why hold for awhile until bitcoin can back to higher price again, you need take time first when bitcoin become good investment assets to buy and invested before you lost much money when bitcoin down.

Well, that will be depends on the news and the progress on bitcoin in the next few months. I think that the lower price of bitcoin will be at the level of 7k$ I mean, even if the price will decrease it's not gonna be under 7000$ I guess, and about the highest price probably will be 25k$ if things go well and in my opinion this year will be really so good for bitcoin and it's really good I guess to buy now before the price will be so much high and quite expensive.

I may suggest you just buy and accumulate more as much as you can if you believe that bitcoin will bring a massive profit by waiting on it.
Yes, that is, hold and wait and never sell if your profit was not there. Never follow your emotion if you have been feel panicking. Because I have doubt that only whales who are manipulated at this price now, they can able to play the market because they have a lot of money to play with and at the same time they will earn. But I believe that this year will bring a good future price of bitcoin after the reward halving will officially be finished.

value of Bitcoin in this year.
I would like Bitcoin to pass 10k and to stay there! It would be nice to say goodbye to the price under 10k! I would like to believe that
this is the bottom now, and that we will not go lower than this. When it comes to the highest possible value of Bitcoin for this year I will
dare to say 20k by the end of this year!

We've been almost touching $15,000 last without any event and this has made me a way to become optimistic and looked for more than that.
May halving will lead to a better market price ( I hope it will) and believing this way could be, ain't no longer to see people would like to sell their Bitcoin at a low price but rather to keep it for preparation and this it helps to farther enhance the price to rise back.

I'd like what to say that I'm more positive that the market won't make a huge dump this year instead of seeing it pump more and reaching to its peak again. The same thing that halving has done before.

Bitcoin is very unlikely to crash this year, its price is being Fomo by halving Bitcoin in May. So from now on the price will definitely go above $ 10,000 and you should buy them as soon as possible before too late. After halving the price will probably be adjusted, but that adjustment will not affect too much this market. The price of bitcoin will not be able to go below $ 7000, this is a good buying area for you to buy

Honestly, it is tough to make such claims right now, because we are looking far ahead to a situation we cannot yet grasp. Tell you, no one knows what the future holds. So it is much good to take an action on what's currently circumstances rather than to take an action on an unknown future 'cause you might get false hopes.

Nobody knows whether Bitcoin won't fall down at $6,000 level again or reach new heights. Due to its very unpredictable nature, Bitcoin is susceptible by negative events that could end up for Bitcoin to fall again, but that's less likely to happen since block halving is closely approaching. And, knowing you as long term doesn't really matter at all right? As long as Bitcoin price will reach the target.

people just can't wait to get the results, so most of them always ask whether this year the price of crypto, especially bitcoin will be high or go down, and in fact, they also know that nobody knows about it.
Well, we all only predict that prices will reach $ 12k, or even higher this year. if the price drops, then it is not according to our estimates.

Setting a new price record this year shouldn't be a priority as far as the price of bitcoin is concerned the issue is buying at dip or low and waiting for a pump while taking profits appropriately and consistently, however analyst are of the opinion that halving of bitcoin in May would have a huge impact on it price ie the price would pump thus this is a big opportunity for buying and hodling for long term investors.

I am a long term holder so I'm gonna keep my btc until it boomed. Bitcoin halving is near approaching and I can imagine the massive increase after halving. However, whatever it may happen the perks of being a holder will be an advantage. Also, when it comes to the lowest value of bitcoin, I will not be surprise if bitcoin will go down again to $3,000. Remember, it is too early to speculate now.

Prices will only play in the area of $ 8000- $ 10,000 for 2020. You can buy it now before you lose momentum when prices have risen above $ 10,000. I am not trying to speculate, but I see a potential for price increases after this is approaching halving time. Seeing the long term bitcoin is more fun than hoping for the short term which is not necessarily where the price will go.

I'd suggest dollar cost averaging.

You can't predict for certain when exactly bitcoin prices will bottom or when it'll top out. What is somewhat certain is that we're likely going to experience a bull market of some sort this year, and the overall trend and sentiment is much more optimistic than what it was just last year as well as 2018.

I think that $6k is the definitive bottom for this bear market in any case, so with the current dip, you might as well load up a little. That is, provided you are willing to hold for the long run and hold through dips. Otherwise, there is no point.

Well does it have be either of the two? Like last year, bitcoin did improve from it's 2018 showing but it also didn't go anywhere close to it's all time high. The same thing could probably happen this year. For me, it's likely that we'll just dance around the current levels up to 12 or 13k if we're lucky. Of course that's just a speculation. We could go hard on both ways with the coming halving triggering any outcome.

Title: Re: What is your opinion on the highest /lowest value of bitcoin in 2020?

considering the fact that $6k was the bottom before the FUD broke out at the beginning of 2019 and it has been very strong. also considering the fact that currently it is also the strongest buy support that we can see closest to the current price, i'd say the lowest price that bitcoin can ever get is somewhere between $6k and $7k and possibly higher than $7k.

but the highest price is not possible to predict. we have halving and a whole lot of hype. not to mention that we are getting out of the reverse bubble (under-price state) and have been starting the bull run for nearly a year. we could easily see the ATH be broken and price to reach a new one too. somewhere near $50k this year is a good estimation in my opinion.

I'd say definitely start accumulating now. Especially under this recent dip it's very difficult to see prices going much further than this during a generally very bullish environment. Sooner or later, the recovery is going to start as people prepare for the halving.

I wouldn't give a concrete figure to the min/max values, though, because I think that's utterly unpredictable.

Cracking the all time high is probably not going to happen this year, but could occur after the halving.

And if you don't have a BTC, it's OK to buy a little, if in large quantities I think it's too risky for your funds.
maybe in January in my opinion is the determination for bitcoin, to this day BTC still stands at 8600-8700 $, if btc is able to pass this month at 8500 for its lowest value then in the following month BTC will be able to exceed 9K or 10K $. I think the impact of the Chinese New Year is huge, but stay alert, don't be too enthusiastic because anything can happen, the possibility of BTC returning to prices like in December was very potential.

Highest I can see it going right now is around 15k, maybe not exactly 15k but around it, like between 14-16k for example. Lowest I can see it going is once again under 6k which hasn't been that low since last April but that is still an option if you ask me. I know that is big margin, lowest of 4-5k to highest 16k is HUGE difference but at the same time that is what bitcoin is.

We have lived through a whole year where we started at 20k and ended in 3k, from December 2017 to December 2018 we have seen the price go from 20k to 3k, so the margin of 5k to 15k doesn't sound all that impossible to me and could both happen. If we are speaking in technical terms, there is no stopping on any direction, it could be 1 dollars or 1 million dollars and technically nothing can stop it, but who here believes it could be any of that? That is just too absurd to me.

We will stay below 20k this year but a rally around the date of the halving could take us very close to that level. Above 10k for sure.
As for lows I don't expect anything lower than 6k. Probably the lows we already had this year were the last opportunity to buy cheap Bitcoin. Time works in our favor.
If we don't go to new lows in 2-3 months we will never revisit 5-6 k levels again.

If you want to invest in bitcoin right now, it's best to wait a bit longer. The current market is collapsing and bitcoin price is going down, current price has dropped to $ 8200 and next week I think it will go below $ 7500. And that's the right price for you to invest and wait until halving, I'm not sure bitcoin will surpass ATH but it will certainly be trading above $ 10000 when halving bitcoin happens.

In essence, we are above $ 10k, and under $ 20k, that's a pretty good prediction, and many speculate like that. however, the price of bitcoin can exceed the price of $ 20k in 2021. However, the lowest price of bitcoin this year is $ 7k, and the highest price has not been confirmed, but it could be in the range of $ 16k to $ 19k.

in my opinion in 2020 bitcoin will not reach a new record or ATH. because bitcoin will need time to reach new records. in my opinion the value that bitcoin might achieve in 2020 is $ 15,000. and in my opinion right now is the right time to buy. because the price of bitcoin is quite low at $ 8,300 I don't delay buying because I'm afraid if bitcoin has gone up and entered the bull market it will be difficult to go down to the price level of $ 8,000.

Hey guys, what u think? Will bitcoin go up to the new record or Will go down? Its better to buy now and hold or wait?
Are you sure you ask for the opinions of people here, while we know that every risk is always in the trade, if I were you maybe I would hold it in the long run or sell it waiting for it to fall below $ 8,000, but no one knows the price of bitcoin next week who knows that's the price dropped only a bear trap

I think we already had a low for this year around $7500.  I expect to high to be at least $25,000 by the end of the year because of the halving.

This is actually no accurate timeline to expect, and as far as high and low price fluctuations is our main concern here I'd rather expect lesser than $25k this year. End of the year halving was too far to wait, and I do hope as it coincides with other people's predictions that early months of this year halving starts to create a bigger impact on the market demand which helps the price increase positively.

Too much expectations of the Bitcoin halving this year might hurt their feelings if what they expect won't happen right away. I would expect another breaking of the $14k to $16k this year since last year Bitcoin is having a hard time to break those price. Luckily, we didn't see a $3.5k bottom this year again so maybe the bottom will be around at $5k to $6k.

Questions like this is really difficult to answer.
Will you really believe it or follow it?  ;)

Chances are it will get higher. By using events about bitcoin which is the halving you could make your own prediction.
The most answer will be yes it might really go higher.
Because of that it will get expensive. Can you still afford the price when it soars? It will be a challenge at that time.
You will always think that you are risking more since you already seen how far it could also go down.

What is your opinion on the highest /lowest value of bitcoin in 2020?

I think price of Bitcoin should be between $5000 and $15000. I dont expect financial crysis this year. If I would expect it then lowest price would be way lower.

I think $25k at the ending of this is an over estimation, let's just say that 2020 ending we may see price between $10k-$15k.
Just like what many is hoping for, this price increase can be as a result of the Bitcoin halving. Though, I still feel there won't be much effect. If price ever increases as a result of the halving in May, it will decrease again as many people will want to sell for the gain.

The lowest so far was around $7,000, so I hope we will not go lower from that price by this year.
With a great start of the year where btc pump to $9K, this signals that it's not impossible to see a bull run this year.

The halving hype was already felt, btc falls after the pump but still steady and strong at $8K, so maybe the highest is $25,000 if we surpass the ATH.

It all depends on what miners will do to each other. I don't know if you guys remember the time in 2018 November when BSV and BCH people fought each other over the BCH hard fork, well back in those days the price of bitcoin was around 6.5k and everyone was expecting it to go even higher, what happened?

Well, price went down to 3.2k or so after so many bitcoins being cashed out which resulted with miners losing money because they weren't making any profit but price still went under since some miners didn't mind waiting to sell since they were super rich, yet others couldn't wait and closed down their machines and that dropped the difficulty a lot which meant the rich ones kept on working but started to profit even with 3.5k prices. If something similar happens we are screwed, if it doesn't happen we will do fine.

we all know that it is very difficult to predict bitcoin which has high fluctuations. so it's better to do your own research and make decisions according to your beliefs.
in my opinion right now is the right time to buy. because I'm afraid that if we continue to wait for the price to $ 7k this doesn't happen. because in my opinion 2020 is the year for the bull and bitcoin markets which is reduced by half in May will drive up the price of bitcoin. in my opinion before half the price of bitcoin will go up.

I don't think Bitcoin halving would set a new record a new all-time high but I am pretty sure that it will make a something different today, perhaps will be some ups will happen but this is enough to make a profit after a long bear trend we've been through. Besides, I don't think Bitcoin will drop below $6000 so I guess if you are going to buy probably this is the right time then just hold till it grows and enjoy the profit.

I think it's not a good time to buy bitcoin if you are looking for a short term gain because I think there will be one more correction phase before the bitcoin halving hence there are greater chances of a temporary dump. I feel the correction period will be the perfect time to buy bitcoin rather than buying it now, again it's just my opinion based on my experience and knowledge.
