I'm sure some people will still go on investing on it despite the early sign. Instead of allowing the coin to dump and die a natural death but they will invest to pump it. I once invested in such kind of coin and till today, I have regretted it.

The number of orders in the order book is way too low, and the difference between them is huge. That's why you see such a big percentage increase.

The volume is ~$100k. Liquidity isn't shown apparently, but taking a short look over the order book and the amounts of CVCC per order is enough to see whether the price change is artificial or not.

I think the picture of the order on the hitbtc exchange is almost a little similar, I have never heard much about the crex24 exchange, it looks like the exchange is still new and not sure I want to trade there, I see sell orders and buy orders not so many coins are traded, it seems that the address The deposit is locked in the exchange. Maybe that is what is being played by the pump group where everyone cannot make a deposit and the pump group can play the price on the exchange with the stock available at the exchange. I think this is one of those highly fluctuating coin like HOLO(HOT) wherein only the risk investment can be made and we need to stick ourself to the exchange in order to cashout or convert to stable coin once the value starts dropping because these coins may give huge profit as well as a terrible loss. I don't think I could personally term it as a scam just because of volatility.

that must be the early adopters of the coin, im seeing that in the market right now if this coin was getting a huge dump again from two digits to the single digit. Investors will never try to invest in a coin like this one and just a few speculators who are riskying their money to create a manipulation on the price. AFAIK the team itself who issued this coin didn't even know if this one gets pumped.

Thanks for this quick information, i believe it would save someone out there from investing into this coin. CREX24 has never been my favourite when it comes to exchange platfoms because something don't seem pretty transparent with their activities. Charging high fees from trading and also the  practices of wash trade is very common on this exchange.

The price yesterday was $3 or around and within 24 hours, it has increased $6 when I gave the last update. Price has now been $7 which seems the pump group was able to attract some newbie. They gonna lose for sure.

Seeing a coin pumped is not an indication that it is a scam.  Op should have given a more strong evidence that the coin is really a scam.  If we look at the market history, almost all cryptocurrency were pumped hard Bitcoin included.  So it is (being pumped hard) not an indicator whether a cryptocurrency is a scam or not.  It may fall to a pump and dump shitcoin but we needed more evidence to say it is really a scam project.

Such coins always have problems with liquidity, which means that the price increase is due solely to volatility.
Of course, the recession will not take long, but only when the herd instinct works and people carry the money to invest in this coin.

That's odd to me, i'm wondering why the price of that coin is very expensive, it was reach ATM $97.83 and its ATL $0.69 cents but if we look at its order book, there is no big buy order for me it's a clear price manipulation that's why before anyone plans to buy that coin just consider the risk or else you might end up losing your money with that condition it's very obvious everyone can notice it. be warned people.

You have no idea what you are talking. Look at the buy order as I said in the OP. All the buy order is very low and it's very clear indicate that it's a pump and dump coin. For your info, anyone with 20 coin can dump the market because if you combine all the buy order which are above $5 (current price is $8.67), will not be 20 CVCC coin. What do you think? It's natural growth like BTC, ETH had? Not at all.No one can liquidate their CVCC shitcoin with this price. Look at the trade history.

You have done well by informing people from investing in what seems like a pyramid scheme but unfortunately, only few people will get to read about this warning and fewer people will take heed. This is a joke, a lot of which I have seen coins experience multiples of prices up to 200-400%, including this CVCC. It is foolish to trust a newcomer coin that suddenly can pump up to 600%. It's likely that many people are taking advantage of the good moments now, utilizing when everyone starts to open up their hopes with altcoin. This CVV buy and sell order if you see this as a manipulation, it must be driven by a group of teams who want the attention of people, traders and investors to join, and after the volume is sufficient, their team will run away. And of course the fate of the CVCC can no longer guarantee.

You can find many shit coins in the market which are pumping and dumping on a daily basis and that does not mean that the market is getting better, stay away from these shit coins which are created to make money for the developers. I have no idea about the coin you mentioned but most probably it is another pump and dump coin.

Actually, that is not true. Give me $1k and I'll do this pump & dump without an issue. (don't give me $1k - I just hypothetically said that).

How does it work? Well, it's very simple to give a sh*tcoin (or even Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, as soon as the liquidity is very low) an artificial but substantial price change. Look how simple it is:

1. I deposit $1k worth of BTC on Crex24 and place a buy order for this coin with the best price of all orders so I could be the first order in case somebody wants to dump theirs. This price will be a significantly lower one than the first sell order.
2. Someone dumps their coins and fulfills my $1k order. At this point, the price decreases substantially and I own $1k worth of this coin.
3. I place a sell order so I could, again, be the first one in the sell orders list. The price will be very high compared to the price I bought at. This difference makes me all the profit I need.
4. Someone wants to buy the altcoin instantly, without having to go through waiting for an order fulfillment. Being the first on the sell orders list, they buy my coins and my order gets fulfilled. The price increases substantially until someone comes in and does the same process from step 1 to step 4.

This is how most pumps really work.. A sh*tcoin pumping does not mean an altcoin pump season is going to begin. Coins like BSV are a pumped and dumped by whales, because they need a higher liquidity to manipulate a significant price increase or decrease and profit is harder to be made by a regular trader like me. Coins like the one you've posted in the OP are easy to be manipulated.

BSV, for example, is a different story. Whoever bought BSV and pumped it hard then sold it made a considerable profit and most likely moved to BTC or an altcoin. This money does affect the prices and the market overall as we did see during the BSV crazy market manipulation period.. although the BSV pump & dump was very sketchy due to also being a coin with a very low liquidity on the exchanges with hundreds of millions of $. IIRC, an exchange had $280M trading volume with a liquidity under $20k. That's insane and very shady.

There are lots of shitcoins pumped every day, and those altcoins have almost no volume so the price can be manipulated very easily. I also never invest in these projects because it is definitely a scam. I only care about altcoins listed in binance and Okex, which are the best altcoins and are much less manipulated.

I am a victim of this when I was starting at Yobit.
They are really doing it in the troll box first. When they see someone is really buying you will be shocked at how many supporters will suddenly pop out of the troll box.
Then, you will try to buy more because you think it is really being pumped until in a sudden it goes back to 1 satoshi a piece.  :'(

Some developers are only looking for profit for themselves so sometimes they do that and make a lot of people then interested in buying the coin because of the pumping price. For now it is difficult to judge a good coin or not because there will always be risks and there will also always be people who try to find personal advantage by taking advantage of the opportunities available and we must be more careful in assessing whether a good coin is good or not.

Let's not consider having a shiller in the community, having a lot of community members, a pump and dump scheme, don't ever too hype even if the founder is active, sometimes it's just their strategy to become active and telling people that they are working hard back end and doing their best to develop, don't believe until they have proven it.

fake volumes in exchanges are usually in small exchanges. or some exchanges that use bots to trade them. although large exchanges also use bots to attract trade and maintain volume. but shitcoin is detrimental to those of us who are trapped in purchases or trades that won't benefit us.

Everyone should stay focused on projects that are legit no matter how little the profit.

Probably the price was manipulated by the exchange since the exchange's name is the first time i've heard, only trade on big exchanges with big name, so they won't scam accept scam coins because they will lose their crediblity

I fully doubted on this coin, honestly speaking. It was obviously moving thru pumped and dumped only. For sue those investors who bought from it will get regret in the end once the price get dump, though I am not wishing it to be happen. It is better to invest with a small price but it has a huge volume in the market, unlike this one.

When there is small trading volume and massive price pump, it's clear manipulation. The one dropped by OP is definitely scam, no potential for that project. But why will someone see that kind of pump and decide to get in? Manipulation has been a major issue with centralized exchanges, especially those with zero reputation.

Pretty much looks like a pump and dump project at this point. Better let everyone know about this to ensure nobody gets scammed off of this coin. As far as I know only the owners of this coin will really benefit from it and the investors will be left with nothing but cobwebs on their pockets. It's better for us to choose altcoin which already has the top rank in coinmarketcap today, than we have to invest in altcoin like CVCC coins that don't have a lot of exchanges, and also volume, usually coins like this will only make us suffer losses because of the coins don't have developments that are clear and may only end up being junk coins in the future.

Things like this will never seize, that is why it is important  to do a thorough  research  before investing  on any project especially  when it is meant for long term investment, look for altcoins with real use case. Crex24 has many coin that grown heavily in value but has a bad market liquidity, that even if you have the coin, you still can't sell, what is the use of having coins that grow in value but you can't sell? That is s technical scam to lure innocent investors.

Being careful and not in a hurry in making decisions is an important thing to do, and for dump and pump coins sometimes the coin can give us the advantage if the coin is indeed a good coin and buy it when the dump is a right decision then sell it when pumping, but for now we know that some developers are manipulating the market to make investors interested in investing in the project.

OK, thanks for the advice, and also I don't ever need to use the exchange, unless I have a number of tokens that have to be sold there and sell directly, I have traded there, and there is no problem, but that doesn't guarantee that the exchange is safe, and also coins that you mentioned because the increase is not natural.

Crex24 is a lousy exchange, it would be foolish if someone bought altcoin here and hold. I tried using this exchange in early 2018 and I left it immediately, this exchange didn't have any volume so the pumps were completely fake and it fooled investors. There's a lot of coins/tokens out there that we don't need to consume our time, that we need to stay aware from it, I have learned so much from the past and I won't believe every word from CEO/founder now unless they have really working product and that they are doing their best for the development and not they just bought the platform from other people.

And here's one of the reasons why every investor should learn to have patience. Anyone with patience wouldn't be rushing into this kind of investment, they would take their time to do proper research and even this pump and being listed on an exchange with a bad reputation has already given out as a scam. It's only people without patience, those that are looking for a fast means to make wealth are the ones that will fall for this and at the end they would be disappointed.

This is just a typical shitcoin scam. In such cases, the coin will be listed in just one or two exchanges, which makes it easier for the whales to manipulate the exchange rates. Another example of such coin is IOUX. It is being traded primarily in Coinsbit. But here, Coinsbit has disabled the IOUX deposits, which means that an artificial scarcity is created for this coin. As a result, the prices have increased by 20x during the past few weeks.

It was already that obvious once an Altcoin have risen up its price into such an enormous rate and it was already listed on a single exchange that is known for a fail reputation. It is nice that we are already being aware of something like this and informing everyone so that the victims of such scheme of scam will be lessen or best is that no one will fall into it. We must take it as a serious matter informing everyone every single time we have notice something suspicious so that we can be able to take some action such as avoiding it so that no one will fall or be victimized by such coins specially for the sake of the newbies as well as for the safety of all of us that we can assure we are only getting into a potential and reputable coin in our portfolio.

I think if there is an altcoin that drives a price increase with that much percentage, you should be able to see how the trading volume is because trading volume can determine whether the coin is scam or not, make sure the selling and buying orders are very thick so that you can know it's price manipulation by the developer or not.

The market cap of a coin is not the only thing to put into consideration when choosing a coin to invest in or trade. You need to look into the 24 hours volume and go on the exchange to check the activities going on. Coin market watch sites are also not enough.

Honestly I don't see any thing wrong with crex24 I've been using the exchange for a long period of time to trade mostly altcoins, its still better than idax, idex, p2pb2b exchanges with fake volumes, the cryptoverification coin is just a bad coin and need to be avoided

Good assessment, this scam coins still exist due to those who are hoping to be compensated after buying and holding the coin, not knowing that
those early holders are the gainers and they can easily dumped the coins especially those developers who doesn't care for the future of their project
but only after with the amount of money that they can scam around.

We have a bunch of trusted coins that already listed on the coinmarketcap. that's so easy just try to pick one of them and then just forget anything about to invest in the suspicious project. This is the best thing that can be done by everyone. Early investors will always be a winner.

If you check CoinMarketCap 24H profit leaders, you will see tons of scam projects which are being traded on scam Exchanges with fake volume. Never invest in such project, it is one of the fastest ways to loose all your funds.

This coin has much lower buy orders so anyone with excess coins who would like to sell their coins would suddenly dump the coin unknowingly. If you hold a huge amount and wish to sell but can't sell because you can't find the volume on buy orders. In this case you would just be trapped with this coin so never to go for such coins at the initial stage itself.

We could invest smaller amounts into such coins if you really want to have profits from such a high pump but you should never invest more than 1% of the total volume in such coins because in case it starts dumping, you can quickly sell and exit the markets. Also you would need to speculate more closely because these coins can have a dump anytime. They do not run on market phenomenon.

holy smokes  .that indeed alot of increase  and take note , the coin has a strange name plus its verry new to my eye but i forgot that even new coins before are the ones that pumped too much and then they end up falling hard in the point of no return  , i think the same faith will happen with this coin . the coin also listed on a new exchange  . not to be harshed here but i think its pretty risky to grab this  but for sure risk takers will still invest on it , and they know how to exit just before they got doomed .

Nowadays this tradition becomes very popular among the scammer. They promote a shit project then listed that in a small exchange and then pump their own coin so that investors buy that coin and lose their money. I wonder who invest in this type of coin! An investor should be more careful especially new investor who is mostly lack of knowledge.

This reminds me of when I wanted to sell a token, first checked on CMC and found it listed on two exchanges, the price were different then I went for the one with higher price. I didn't make enough findings and I just registered and sent the coin only to realise it the orders were just like what you shared. Imagine wanting to sell 1000 tokens only to find out the orders are even less than 50, really it's discouraging. Thanks for pointing it out and I hope people learn from it. No good exchange will have this type of orders, it is certainly a turn off.

On a more serious note, how can someone trade with this type of small orders. Also I wonder what a project will be doing in such exchanges, no serious team will develop a project, spend time and efforts only to list it in an inadequate exchange, it doesn't add up and I see such projects as unworthy of investing. Yes there are exchanges that are expensive to list on at the same time there are others that an upcoming project can list on first, gain momentum and then move to bigger ones. No will spend time and money to develop a project and watch it go down the drain if he isn't after something personal. People tend to forget about pump and dump schemes... I also use crex24 for a long time and up until now I haven't hd issues or seen any suspicious behaviour from the exchange... on the contrary...

You are right in a way. Such coin would have been pumped probably to set bull trap for investors or traders. Then once pumped they dump it. Well that might not really be the case. If you check market cap, a lot of coins are also pumping. Almost all alts are currently pumping. People say 2020 is alts season who knows. Hence, "Pump" should not be the only reason why you say the coin as a scam.

There is doubt that this coin is surely going to experience a huge dump in the coming time. There is actually no volume. 12 BTC 24 hours volume is quite low and it could easily be manipulated. Such coins are only meant to trap new investors as the price might never again rise up.

We should strictly avoid to go for such coins who are just listed on a single exchange with no great volume but yet had immense price pump. This would mean that the price would go in the negative trend in no time which might even land the coin in the red zone. Such coins can easily be pumped so there is no doubt that there are some whales behind this coin who would like to gain some kind of attention from the public.

From the name of the coins you can say that this project could be a scam one. Not every coin listed on CMC is legit, I'm not saying their project is scam but using manipulation for market price isnt natural and crex24 should be aware of this activity on their exchange or maybe they are the one doing this kind of activity and just pretending nothings happening.


Maybe for some big coins or major ones such as btc, eth but for altcoins the volume might be deceiving as the gap between orders is unnaturally spaced and only fww volume got been sold? What's that real trading or yet much better term is wash trading.
