Title: Fun and interactive way for token holding
Post by: SheriffEl on January 24, 2020, 01:23:03 PM
Hello

I recently joined a project's event called Holders reward. But the only thing i have to do is hold tokens for a certain period of time.

I'm wondering if you know any fun and interactive token holding events (that does not include staking).

Or if you ever joined such an event what were you doing and was it interesting?

Thak you for your comments in advance.

I have never participated in such an event by holding a token and will get rewarded with the specified time, and I think tokens like that tend to go down more because if more people participate, the more they sell and the price will continue to fall.
I am not at all interested in tokens like that. I better hold the tokens to the time I want or when the tokens go up, I sell it, it's the same as getting a reward from the sale.

Why not? why does not someone thinks of a way of where you hold tokens and by doing something interactive you can earn more?

Hello what is the purpose of the event you joined? This so called holders event? Can I see where is the link of that event? I'm just bit curious what would be the fun there if its only about holding tokens.

Or this you mean about certain projects that let you hold the tokens and give you certain token almost same with airdrop of NPXS (Pundi X). Am I right?

Are you looking only to a project to have fun not to earn?

For staking the best choice is ETH and Dash i am not fun of tokens in terms of staking since we know that the tokens have fixed supply.

I actually find an interesting project before adbank where you are able to earn free tokens for just visiting any website and earn tokens for every ads.
But i dont know if this things still working or they stop doing it because of low support from community, same thing with brave ads.

Im just feeling curious about what do you mean about interactive in this case? If you are referring to the incentives but i guess that will not suitable for the thing that you are looking for right now.
In my understand what you do mean is about holding and you can earn from the platform too when you are holding your token but there is no such platform that exists in this market.
The only thing that i have ever heard when you are holding your token and you will also help to secure the blockchain and that refers to the masternode coin.

I've never heard that holders get paid while holding a coin unless the project team uses some kind of Prove of stake mechanism, it's not advisable if the coin is not POS activated, might even be you are walking into a trap

I currently joined this https://newscrypto.io/holder_rewards.pdf but as i mentioned this is not quite fun. I was asking for evenets where you compete with others, like who holds more tokens and the higher rank you are more extra coins you get or something like that.

Where holders have more than one goal for holding a certain coin.

I have never joined this kind of event. Most likely you hold the own coin of any project in this event. Maybe I would try even though the project is safe, but I give superiority top altcoins. If there is an event that will pay me a percentage for Bitcoin holding, I would be glad if you let me know. Otherwise, staking is more attractive.

I think it is an interesting event or program for us to follow. Indeed, we have to hold certain tokens to get a ticket and the ticket will be multiplied by the amount of the reward toto. So this is very good, with that I can get more profit.

I have never participated in an event that forces people to hold tokens for a long time, such events are just the way the development team uses to entice investors. You will notice that the amount of your tokens depreciates over time, even if you receive event rewards it will not bring you profit.

Beware of such events, most tokens of such events tend to decrease.
You can earn more tokens but if converted into USDT, the probability of loss is very high.

I don't see anything interactive with this either. It's like being incentivised for nothing. You could've used that time to trade cryptocurrencies and earn more than the incentives you get on that. But it's still up to you. Guessing you're not really into trading and are more into holding. Which if is the case, then this definitely will work for you. However, I don't see any future on a token that does this.

Did you join on an exchange?

This event has been popping up recently such as binance who launch staking platform for those who has a certain crypto that can be able to stake.

Indeed, I see this opportinity is something new and can be made as an innovation. They user will get benefited to hold their asset only, we don't need to trade anymore to get profit from the coin that we have.

The concept is interesting in my opinion, namely the real goal is to encourage investors to invest in projects and buy a number of tokens. will definitely be tempted if you get some prizes from the results of the hold in the specified period or promised. The more hold tokens, the more prizes will be given? And I think the risk of losing is getting bigger too. Okay, what is this token for? @OP Can give clear information about the project. Because it's useless to get some token prizes, but prices are getting lower.

There is no fun just by holding your token alone. How long would you hold it even you know that you can already make profits by selling it? You may miss the chance at the right time to sell. And when the time you decided to sell it, you are already a loser and the token never gains a green mark in the market anymore.

You can research the Pyro Network project. this project also sends rewards in tokens for simply freezing the tokens of this project in their wallet. You will receive rewards from the use of these tokens in the network. they plan to create Dapp applications in which people will make a large number of transactions and rewards to coin holders will be higher

I think I have seen such, where you are meant to hold a particular  amount  of the project token in your wallet till a particular  time and then you are rewarded, for that I don't think any particular  thing was done aside having it in your wallet and you benefit from the drop.

I do it by not always opening the market, meaning that it opens periodically and also looks for sufficient information. so when the potential continues to exist, when holding hold of the tokens obtained will not feel long and scary. the important thing is that the developer always gives an update to the community, that's good enough to make ourselves happy enough to hold.

Do you want to hold the token for the long term?
You should not except top 30 cmc, because the price of the coin is relatively stable from the others.
if you want to get monthly results maybe you can try lending in large markets such as binance, huobi, and others that provide that feature and you should stay away from markets that are still foreign and low volume.

There have been several such projects that I have encountered. But since there are mostly bounty shitcoins, earnings have always been lower. But I could not understand why you were interested in it, not staking. Is not a lucrative and reliable way better? You can find the ones that match what I said in the list of top altcoins.

actually there are many ways to get profit but back again to ability. therefore you must know in advance for the potential on the coin if you take place for this event. I personally have been in this industry for a long time, and I admit that patience and skills are important factors for profit in here, you can apply this on condition that the coin is profitable.

Then, a thing to look by. My question is, does this project has a working product or it even listed to reputable exchanges? Because investors are now skeptical and picky in choosing a project to invest with. If this is already been in the market, it (maybe) investors will look into this project and might take the risk. Then I hope that it would it won't turn into scamming and the team could prove that is worthy of our trust. I'm not questioning their integrity and legitimacy but much better if we know already what will happen next and assurance as well.

Never take bigger risk with reward from holding coin because you can get problem after holding and receiving your coin assets increase extremely down, there are not guarantee from developer keep on higher price always because they try how to make many investor try to lock their coin and waiting with reward but price have down.

In my experience, don't staking any coins other than USDT. I used to lose more than 95% of my money when doing staking with WPP tokens. This is a major event in my life and it makes me seem depressed. I suddenly realized that no coin is trustworthy, sharks can kick our rice bowl at any time, especially bear market. Look for exchanges that do staking USDT, otherwise you should stand outside and don't risk.

i didn't see or participate in this kind of event in the past
its risky if your token will be locked for a certain period of time and you cant cancel it
the only thing i know which give rewards for holding is staking
the good thing for staking in your own wallet is you can cancel it or send your token anytime you want

What coin specifically you hold?
Usually, you will know some upcoming events on their social media accounts or at least telegram community. Perhaps, you would suggest to that reward's holder to have an event.

Tbh, I'm not sure if we really get you, about that so called "event".

whether it is true or not. but I'm not sure of that. keep careful to staking certain assets in certain platforms or exchanges. try to find out what the background of the event is. many projects like that and offer huge profits and many are deceived.

it is an attempt to keep the tokens from being dumped. usually when a token is first released, everything will sell and the market will be filled with sell orders, not buy. well, with holding a reward holder, the team hopes that many people will buy it and then hold it back. this is an important point, where the team really hopes that many people will hold back in the long run so that prices don't arrive at the dump. and the prize from the hold can be equivalent to the result of the token volume if the project and its objectives are successful.

Compared to holding tokens in the long run, for me it is better to buy some of the top coins to invest because it can be said that holding tokens obtained from a new project I feel will not last long or will end up with no value and is useless if held in time the old one so I would personally prefer to buy some of the top coins.

There are many wallets and services that pay annual return for holding coins on their platforms and that is not staking rather it is kind of lending where the profit will be shared with the coin hodlers personally i have not tried this kind of profit sharing but even some exchanges are also offering it now.

If we see now indeed most of them will give a large bonus at the beginning and for the end they will not necessarily give a big bonus because we know that new projects now are very difficult to develop because it is difficult to get investors to invest in it and many investors will choose to invest in current top coins so that maybe for new projects or tokens obtained from the project will ultimately have no value.

I have ever joined just one, but the token is trading on a shitty exchange. The name of the project is stabledex, ticker is STDEX. If one holds from December 24th to January 31st, then you get 10k STDEX as bonus. For the project itself, I can't really tell if it's worth the hold or not, the end will tell.

The concern is how those project will able to survive with the nature of how the market is moving after being introduced. Developers encouragements
to keep the token being hold without any further assurance that it will bring something good after being listed. Most of those coins are prone being
dumped after reaching shitty exchange.

Holders reward? Never heard of it, can you drop a link instead? To be frank i don't like unpopular ways of making money in crypto space, they aren't popular because they are shady, look at binance, bitmax , okex etc staking offers on their platforms, many are into it, more trusty than other form of getting rewards while holding, just be careful

one of the most pleasant gifts for holding a coin is when hardfork. and creating new coins. I started from bitcoin hardfork and got BCH, BSV, BTG. then hardfork NXT and got Ignis. last I held ignis and got COAL .. this is the most pleasant gift for holding a coin.

well, if you are trying to be a participant of a project that is trying to work on the DEX platform, I suggest you don't expect too much from the price of the token because most of them will not have a buyer, many cases are like that so if you still keep it then just leave it and you can make it as your lessons and experiences.

bethash.io fits the description given by OP. Hash token can just be kept in the account and then receiving coins everyday for the holders of the HASH token, these coins are from the daily profit of the platform and you can readily withdraw these everyday as well. bethash is using EOS platform which no transaction fee is reduced. a holder will receive EOS, TRX, ETH, IOST and so forth.  more info here https://bethash.io
