Title: Held a bitcoin seminar today
Post by: Chris Barth on January 26, 2020, 02:25:19 AM
It hasn't been easy for me lately because I'm a student. However, I find time to make a way for bitcoin promotion. Today, after classes, tho the place wasn't very convenient, I and a friend of mine held a seminar in which we talked to about 10 or more people about bitcoin. We also elaborated to them about the disadvantages and advantages involved in crypto.
Also, a WhatsApp group was created so as To Help them with anything that seems confusing. Of course, they already have their wallets installed! ♥

Lol.... My head was aching before and after the seminar. However, we had to hold it!
At least with this example, others (including you) would do their best to promote bitcoin and the blockchain technology.

Also, I'll be posting how you can conduct Your Own seminar for those who have that interest. Let me get well first.🙂

Shouldn't you blur their faces for the same reason?

Anyway, looks like you're talking to people on their early 20s or teenager (if my sight doesn't lie). Are they showing a good interest in blockchain or crypto in general and want to pursue a career in those fields?

one day bitcoin will be recognized by itself even without being promoted, in the social media group that I joined, almost nobody even promoted the introduction of bitcoin, but its members continue to grow, but if anyone wants to promote bitcoin, maybe bitcoin will develop faster.

Wow! That is amazing.

I wouldn't be able to do that since I would be really nervous. Even though they are my friends, I would be really nervous. The courage to give people some information about it is great, hope a lot of people could also do that. I think in our country that would be hard since we are talking about Bitcoin and they will be looking at it as a scam.

I get your point. Maybe I should have blured their faces. However, I'm certain all that Cam be seen is their face without their names and personal info. Same case if someone posts my picture.

Do you mind describing to us what most of their views are concerning bitcoin?

Are they mostly interested in the technology? As a hedge or a sort of savings account? As an investment? A trading vehicle? or what?

That's really great! Small things you can do to promote Bitcoin matters a lot. You don't have to push yourself so much if feeling unwell. But it's really a great initiative you have and you friend. This just shows we doesn't need a lot of extra money, a lot of people around us to help in promoting and teaching Bitcoin to other people. We only need our knowledge and our initiative to do it.
Me as well, I am trying to teach my friends but I guess they don't really want to learn because they don't make efforts as well. So I guess I have to stop trying to teach and help them when they aren't even doing their parts.

Lol, one of them also made it look like a scam. However, I told everyone that I would be explaining every single thing.
And at the closing, it ended well ♥

Tho they didn't table their intentions clearly, I'm sure that all of them like bitcoin as a means of payment.

This is a good strategy in spreading words about bitcoin, many will get curious little by little when people attending seminars starts to grew that will attract more participants and users. It's a nice initiative by you OP to inspire other individuals who may want to share or join in crypto but still doubting.

I doubt that somebody is going to sue OP for revealing his face. ;D
Good job OP.Every effort towards bitcoin promotion help us build a bigger and better Bitcoin community.
By the way, have you told them about all the Bitcoin Cash,BSV,forks,Roger Ver and Craig Wright? They should be aware of the fake "bitcoins" like BCH and BSV and the enemies of Bitcoin Core.

Looking on those images and on their faces seems like they are really interested in Bitcoin, I'm glad about that. Keep up the good work!

Maybe can you share for us how the seminar went? Like the topics, you gave to them and some questions and answers, that would be appreciated especially on someone who is planning to do also some seminar like that (like me).

Starting a seminar with a small group of people is good especially if your listeners are interested and willing to learn about Bitcoin.

Bitcoin surely will be developed through the times and because it is in the mainstream and almost all of the people are really interested in this so called bitcoin in cryptocurrency. Why people are getting interested here? Simply because thy notice that just a one bitcoin is cost a huge amount of US dollar so they are very interested on it.
If people are getting promoting it then yet it will be really a faster development will occur and faster spreading of news about bitcoin nor cryptocurrency will happen because many people will talk about it later on.

This is what I've been doing for the past couple of years with the local communities. It all started with just 5, then increased to 13, 20+, until the largest crowd that I've spoken was more than 600 students.

Until now, lots of people are unaware about Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. The only way for us to massively adopt BTC is to keep spreading the word, educating them about the real and positive use cases (not some Bitcoin MLM ponzi schemes), etc.

Great job for educating people about Bitcoin in your area. Cheers!

You don't need to have a lot of people attending the seminar at least you have done a good thing, to be honest that is a good way to attract many new users and adoption also in the future, the important thing is how to recognize the risk of investing in bitcoin and crypto, sometimes new people coming to bitcoin and crypto they are complaining about the loss of following the scammer site, I hope this is also done by other friends so that bitcoin and the crypto market can grow again as before, start introducing from a few people so that it spreads throughout the world

I have never been shy to talk to people about bitcoin, I've even posted about it in the forum sometimes of how I discuss with friends and coursemates about bitcoin in school also, I didn't actually brand it a seminar because I felt my audience had to be of a particular number for me to call it that, but whatever it's called, it's good to tell those who do not know what bitcoin is all about.

I was also considering of arranging for a lecture/seminar with the approval of my lecturer in my large school hall about bitcoin, it was just in my head, but this post has emboldened me to pursue for it, I'll like to see how the turn out will be, their interest, what they may think of bitcoin and bitcoiners etc.

Starting a seminar with a small group of people is good especially if your listeners are interested and willing to learn about Bitcoin.

We started from what bitcoin is, we told them how bitcoin helps users connect in a peer to peer way. We also told them the story of how bitcoin price grew and told them that it's volatile too (both in negative and positive ways).

They asked a few questions because we spoke much enough for them. One asked about if the currency can't be seen with the eye, another asked how it can be sold for fiat.

One of the things that marveled me is that one of them told me that he knew about bitcoin in the past but never paid much attention. He even told me that he had created a bitcoin wallet back then. However, due to this meeting of ours, he's back on the cryptocurrency track! 😍

I feel like countries with less possibilities and poorer people have the highest chance of making a change and giving Bitcoin a real use, only if they'd be taught how Bitcoin truly works and if there was someone like OP who would deny their negative opinions of Bitcoin with facts.

I've always thought Bitcoin will show its true meaning during a period of hard times. Be it a recession, a war or anything else, Bitcoin will just then show its true strength, utility and power. One of the most interesting thing I always tell people who are new to Bitcoin is that you can travel with $10,000,000,000 in your pocket thanks to Bitcoin. All you need to do is just transfer it to a piece of paper with a secured wallet on it, and nobody will detect it. That's compared to fiat, which needs a ton of space to travel with higher sums, or compared to Gold which also needs a lot of space and can be detected at country borders.

OP, would be very interesting to know if any of the participants has already thought of an idea to give Bitcoin utility one way or another. If you're planning to do a few other seminars, I'd give them a "homework" at the end of the next one: Think of an use case for Bitcoin, and let's see who comes up with the best!

About your first paragraph, We did warn them about the volatility of bitcoin. We told them how rich they could become and how poor it could make them. We did not sweet talk them in anyway. No, not at all.

About your last paragraph, that's a nice idea. I appreciate it and would find a way to make use of it. Thanks!

By the way, what's OP? 🤭

We need people like you to introduce an alternative payment system to the people. Even i, am discussing bitcoin to my friends and family especially those who seek source of income because in the crypto space you can find a bunch of freelance jobs.

Also teaching them to invest early into it because it might reach $100k in the future because of its innovative advantages.

By the way, what's OP? 🤭

OP simply stands for "original poster" i.e. the author of this thread which in this case is you.

Anyway, I like your idea of hosting a bitcoin seminar for raising awareness about bitcoin. In my opinion large blockchain summits are not the way to go for spreading this kind of information because the uninitiated will not buy tickets to something that they have no idea about. Meetups are much better with people such as friends, and since most people do not have that many friends, a second group of people to migrate to bitcoin would be people who are having financial difficulties, meaning those people who would have to sell things they own if they get an unexpected bill. Bitcoin would be perfect for those kind of people since it does not inflate ever.

The next problem would be how to find such people because they are usually not comfortable with being unsolicited from a facebook or reddit post. There are meetup services which can help you join meetings with normal people in your area. Meetup.com immediately comes to mind.

I think the next step you could take after holding scheduled talks about bitcoin would be to meet with these people in real life at meetup events, explain to them what bitcoin is after hearing their situations and helping set up a mobile wallet on their phones.

That's so great of you coming up with this activity.

The world needs to hear about Bitcoin and you are offering yourself as one of its vehicles. Bitcoin does not have a marketing arm or department. Bitcoin does not pay ads online and offline. It grows because of people like you. Good job!

a great initiative to further spread the knowledge of bitcoin to the youngsters. young people tend to have an open mind to different kinds of technology.
I commend you for taking a step up on promoting it to your local area even not knowing if people will come and hear what you will say. I know it's hard
just like you said but I hope you continue doing this.

Good attempt! Why do you decide to provide a bitcoin seminar in your class? Do you see that they are capable to join Bitcoin investment or trading? Anyway, make sure that they know how to operate a computer/laptop/smartphone, at least they know basic skills. The rest, you can learn them gradually.

Regarding the result of the seminar, I think it will be better if you make a resume that describes some things: participant's interest, how potential they join investment/trading, their opinion, or another else. And what your plan in the near future with those people. Making a community?

This is a great initiative! I've only talked about cryptocurrencies a bit to an audience of high school students during the lesson on professional orientation. I don't feel confident enough to talk to students about Bitcoin and Blockchain, because as a humanities graduate student, I am not too good with technical stuff, so I am afraid someone would ask me a question I don't know the answer to or that I would formulate something in a wrong way.

Good job Man. Yeah if students come to know about it definitely they will spread about Bitcoin as they will not be having money to spend they will be more interested to know about the ways of earning so Students would quickly learn as the generation is very smart .

Good job continue and spread it so that Bitcoin grows. In our country its regulated and here if we talk about bitcoin in public  they see us as theif and scam. But still and talk to my friends and relatives about bitcoin so that they can share it with others and spread about it.

Exactly. Like mostly initially think that bitcoin is nothing but a scam and so better to avoid it. If we don't promote or spread awareness about bitcoin, what people think will stay on that day forward. Though, it's sad that bitcoin had always been taking advantage.

Well anyway, hope OP will continue what he started and who knows that could be a big step in their area.

It is tiring to answer these questions even when their answers are obvious. However, I'll still answer them.

Quote
Why do you decide to provide a bitcoin seminar in your class?
I decided to provide this seminar because I want To Help them and bitcoin. I did not gain anything from it. It somewhat hurts to see people waste their time due to lack of knowledge so I had to discharge some knowledge.

Quote
Do you see that they are capable to join Bitcoin investment or trading?
They may not be capable of investment/trading ATM. Remember they are students. For now, they decided to dance with working for some cryptocurrency related projects.

Quote
Anyway, make sure that they know how to operate a computer/laptop/smartphone.
Lol.... They surely know how to operate their phones. They are smarter than they appear.

Quote
And what your plan in the near future with those people. Making a community?
I never thought of that but, it'll be great if we made a community to keep the fire burning.

Personal teaching is still better than just what you see in social media. Social media can be deceiving. That's where most scammers can be found. Personal teaching, is much better since you can interact, ask questions, and you know who the person is speaking unlike with socmed, you don't know the person. People don't easily believe with just a simple promotion in social media. There's a barrier when you're just learning in front of your computers than learning with the person teaching you face to face.

Btw, I really admire you op for that. Not everyone will give time to teach and conduct seminars for others. So continue doing what you're doing. And I hope more people will learn and discover bitcoin because of you

Good job. Actually it's a good idea to teach young students to get to know about Bitcoin conducting such tutorials is good for promoting Bitcoin if it continues all students after listening to it and if they start working on it and  sharing with another friends and friends of friends I think one day all people will be aware of Bitcoin soon.

I liked it personally and continue the same..

I also had a family session and I got the opportunity to expose Bitcoin and the whole blockchain technology to them. Some wet impressed others still could not understand but I am sure subsequent meet ups will clarify things.

Bitcoin have already established a large community of users and that is why it is on top in this industry. There are even times wherein Bitcoin is beinf referred to as crypto itself for those who are not aware of other coins. This simply proves how popular it is, and promoting it , is not that necessary unlike before wherein onlu few countries recognize its existence. In my opinion, development would follow many countries' adaptation of blockchain technology and not only on the basis of popularity by means of promotions.

These ways are really helping the crypto world spreading and sharing of your knowledge about it. I'm proud of bitcoin and the crypto currencies but I haven't been this proud as yours in which I hope I can soon. In my own little way I still do my part just to the people thqt I have known or the natural market as they say.

That looks good to hold such seminars. But my point of view is that now the era is blockchain era. Blockhain technology is safe, fast and reliable. Trend is to accept it widely and so is Bitcoin. After all odds. Bitcoin always come back and is in growing mode. As a crypto lover, i think those who are arguing will become the big fan of bitcoin.

Good job promoting bitcoin. The effort alone is enough to be applauded.

I just hope that you are introducing bitcoin as a technology rather than an investment or speculative asset. We need more individuals who understand blockchain and its technology and how it is connected to bitcoin. I think if you introduced it as an investment, all they would think about bitcoin is the price and how much they could profit from it. And if they get rekt, that would have negative feedback on you and bitcoin.

Good luck with your future endeavors promoting bitcoin.

Bitcoin is really a great invention because it is really a modernized way of paying and transfering money through online banking. The idea of having bitcoin is really good because it is more time efficient when transferring money to another person and also very handy you csn bring it to other places and also you can transfer whenever and wherever you want

Ha ha--I'm not exactly sure why you had a headache, but I can't stand public speaking myself and I admire your drive to give one on bitcoin.  That's certainly something I wouldn't feel confident doing, so props to you.

But you are right, first of all, Bitcoin is valuable because of its technology and this should be in the first place
I'm not sure I completely agree with that.  Bitcoin is bitcoin, whereas blockchain technology can be used independently of bitcoin.  Anyway, I won't argue strenuously against what you said, because they're both very important.

I agree,  people wont have interest on it if no one will promote what bitcoin is and how it works. Because when you dont promote it how will they know that it is helpful and valuable.  In fact it was a good start by sharing it to your friends and classmate and to social media to spread the good and bad advantages of bitcoin.

Attending or creating a seminar is really good idea for encouraging more people to join here in crypto world because all throughout the discussion, they will slowly absorb all of the informarions they needed inside here in the crypto world most especially the basic informations like who is the founder of bitcoin, how many altcoins do we have and what are the benifits they could get if they join here.

First of all I really apriciated what you're doing, especially explaining and teaching people about advantage and disadvantage of cryptocurrency. People used to explain about bitcoin in a good way, they don't tell people about disadvantage of owning or using bitcoin, that's why there are so many people lost their money in cryptocurrency because they dont have knowledge or something

Seminars are good way to make contacts with people who has same interest. Good job.
I'd also like to join some seminars but will not be the speaker. I'd just be joining and assisting what I may be able to help a local community.
There is a small group of enthusiast within my town who regularly gather around for some small talks to crypto enthusiast but I'm not sure if they were also here in the forum.

It hasn't been easy for me lately because I'm a student. However, I find time to make a way for bitcoin promotion. Today, after classes, tho the place wasn't excessive convenient, Me and my friend held a seminar in which we talked to about 10 or more people about bitcoin.

You show your concern for bitcoin and that is a very good job, holding a seminar is the best way to promote and convince them about bitcoin so that they understand and know more about bitcoin that makes them interested in getting involved with bitcoin.
and in the past I have attended a number of seminars such as insurance and other seminars and because of the seminars and they were finally interested and involved in it because it was good for them, so I illustrate if there are bitcoin seminars, I am sure those present will mostly be interested to be involved in bitcoin.

Good job! It looks like they were interested. Next time you can improve this by adding a presentation on a big screen, a projector maybe. It will greatly improve your ability to engage the audience, especially a larger one. If you're talking to 10 people or less it's fine to use a laptop and just walk around to let them see everything.

I hope they will be doing something in this space.

I think such seminars should happen in every country and every city. Actually problem is seminars are always done by either the government authorities or business man who do it for profiteering it's nice to hear someone spreading knowledge. Thanks for the idea I would definitely look out what I can do in my City regarding this. I think there are a lot of Cryptocurrencies enthusiasts in my city but they aren't really connected through any platform your whatsapp group is awesome to connect such people. No one can ever grown in isolation.

I think seminars are the fastest way for some people who are lazy to learn by self-taught by reading articles. With seminars, of course, people will more easily understand how crypto works.

Weldone, that was a great idea. I care to ask if you did it for free. It is a good way to make Crypto move round the world.
And I hope they would pick it up from there.
Personal interest is what matters most at first, because I've seen a lot of people who cannot take their good time and energy to continue working with crypto just because they felt they will start making money sooner than normal.
Some people did seminars like this and made Ponzi out if bitcoin, which I believe is not good enough.

no, if without a seminar or promotion of bitcoin, it is very unlikely that people will adopt bitcoin if we don't introduce them to the correct understanding of bitcoin, because if we see it now some bitcoin haters they always make bad news about bitcoin like saying bitcoin is a pyramid scheme fraud . so with an event like this I hope people will realize that bitcoin is very well used as a means of payment and investment.

Sound good, that's the way Bitcoin community has to be built around the world, we have to do a small thing at every individual aspect. in this way, Bitcoin will be the vital currency in the future, Bitcoin and Blockchain education is very necessary for its promotional purpose, teaching with the promotion of Bitcoin is a good way to move on, if our education system would focus on blockchain education then it would be more easy-going process for getting established as an important currency for the future purpose, so we have to start teaching about Bitcoin of our close people.

Not really. In the first place, how and why would other people be interested in bitcoin if there is no person/company promoting it? Promotion is a must from every business around the world. The main reason on why bitcoin should be promoted to get recognized by the public is the image they see when they heard about bitcoin, most of them think bitcoin is a scam and with the right person promoting bitcoin that would change their perspective about bitcoin. And as you say bitcoin will be recognized faster if there are people who are ready to promote it.

It is possible for people to adopt bitcoin without telling them. That's what you called "curiosity", it will urge people to seek more and more information for a certain person to try using bitcoin. After they learned from their own selves and understanding, they will now try to practice and handle how bitcoin works.

So don't say that bitcoin should be promoted, yes it will help for the people to know it but it can grow on its own. You'll never notice that something is growing if it is always onto the news or trending. Sometimes, a certain thing is silent while it keeps on growing and growing. Like us, we aren't expecting that we will hold a crypto coin 8 years ago, but look at us now.

But by the help of our advanced technologies like social media, we can see that its promotion and popularity is continuously growing. Let's keep it up and focus on the growth of bitcoin for the benefit of us all.

Even one person needs a lot of hard work before he can truly understand how to deal with crypto. it takes more than one session for them to fully grasp how crypto works. try sending them few satoshis and let them convert it to your local fiat to prove to them that you can have real money from crypto. if you can't afford to do that, just get your money back in fiat. At least you have shown to them that you can spend their crypto by exchanging it to usable currency.

It's overwhelming to see that someone is giving some time and effort to enlighten people through seminars that will open their minds for new learning. In addition, it will be much easier to learn and understand since the speaker can clarify various of information as well as their perception regarding bitcoin. It will make them realized that the world isn't just revolving around fiat, there's a cryptocurrency that can help them change their lives into a better one. I don't agree. It is up to each individual to educate themselves personally I don't want the type of people that don't explore the world around them. Such people are boring and dull and contribute to almost nothing so having them involved in bitcoin won't really help. If people don't want to educate themselves and remain ignorant let them. Lol, you’re not in those images for privacy reasons but you posted others without blurring their faces? Anyway, you still did a good job by teaching them about cryptocurrency. It is not everyone that can do that, a lot of us here can’t do it. I hardly talk to people about cryptocurrency because I am fond of minding my business (and before you ask, I learnt about it myself; sadly no one was there in my places to conduct seminars some 5 years back).

There was someone that said he wants to teach people about Bitcoin for free of cost and he was going to rent about three rooms. I told him to do a similar thing as you have done, to just host a seminar and maybe rent a hall or if he can get a place for free, but he never turned back for personal reasons. It is my long term agenda to conduct seminars on cryptos for young generations but for various reasons, we are forced to delay; still in plans only.

I think it is really food to attend a seminar like that especially if the main topic is all about cryptocurrency or bitcoin because this will helps us to be more knowledgeable about what we are doing in the forum and in this cryptocurrency field. It would be great if we will be able to meet some cryto enthusiast that has a lot of knowledge in terms of different fields of cryptocurrency and has a lot of experience about crypto.

It's nice to see someone doing educational work as a volunteer. Usually, these people do not aim to conduct paid training seminars or, even worse, try to persuade people to buy their cryptocurrency. It's great that young people are interested in modern high technologies.

In inducing market adoption, we have endless option for us to execute our own way of advertising bitcoin and cryptocurrency to other people. we mostly conduct discussion with our peers but the difference which I admire the most to what OP does is to conduct discussion or seminar to people who haven't really have idea of cryptocurrency. In our way, we just talk about improvements, updates and asking questions to things we doesn't know, but what you are doing OP is promoting it for us to have better future and increase the market capitalization we have. It might look like a small step but if your friends become crypto enthusiasts as well, they'll do the same thing and will promote bitcoin to others. Thus, we'll have a continues growing community of cryptocurrency users.

we as young people in the cryptocurrency community do have an obligation to promote bitcoin and crypto to others. because without promotion it is impossible adoption can be realized. and holding seminars is a great way to promote bitcoin and cryptocurrency. sometimes local exchanges in my country also hold seminars on campuses to discuss cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. hopefully seminars like this are often held so that more people will know and understand about cryptocurrency.

It is good to know that there are some that are giving efforts to introduce and educate others in their community about bitcoin.
In the field of market advertisement of bitcoin, we mostly have allot of ideas, but these ideas are usually just stuck in to our heads, but what the OP has done is a good inspiration to consider. Though, what I could advise is to just conduct seminar to people that are really interested to learn, and not just to have easy money, but willing to absorb knowledge for development as a team.

It may be a small act but it may have a ripple effect. Continue what you are doing OP. I am not good in public speaking but maybe someday I could be able to do what you are doing.

As I mentioned, being a team is what needs to be established here, at the current moment, OP is conducting seminars, but sooner or later, for more audience, being alone will be so hard, but with the help of your team, these things will be possible to happen. We might not know, we could have attract big investors to transition their funds from other investment platforms to cryptocurrencies.

Even in my country there were few seminars held regarding the awareness of the blockchain technology. This really seems a lot useful for a lot of people as speaking personally, the seminar which was held in my country had a number of people who were not even aware about the fact that bitcoins are circulating in the monetary systems.

People need to have more and more knowledge about bitcoins or the blockchain technology because it would only make them bear immense profits and also they would continue filling their memory with the most precious knowledge of all times. This would eventually spread the awareness at large scale as educating one person would make him educate the another and this chain can never be broken as our knowledge enlarges only if we share it.

As the OP is working on it, showing his contribution toward the promotion of Bitcoin. We should also contribute our effort in any way. If you do not consider yourself able to conduct this, at least you can help them in their work. All such little efforts put in this field will one day give us the results.

Most beneficial step taken by you are your friends. I really have to appreciate this. Awareness about bitcoins needs to be spread worldwide and we could only start doing the same if we try to educate people surrounding us about bitcoins. Seminars are a better way to spread the awareness and also most of the people might feel you their financial adviser only because you introduced them towards bitcoins.

This is really appreciable act. You can try to refer people who have joined the seminar to join various wallets from your referral links and you can use the referral bonus to conduct such more seminars in the future. You can continue the chain and I am sure your city itself would have a lot of bitcoin traders in the coming time just because of you. This should make your chest feel with proud.

It is true. The easiest thing is to provide education to those closest to you. So it is not easily influenced by news that is not true related to cryptocurrency. Seminars and such will only be attended by interested people, right? whereas interest will not arise if it has been affected by bad news and minimal knowledge, so that is where our important role is to provide the right understanding, starting from the smallest environment. Hopefully, it can provide a positive snowball effect.

I think blockchain technology does not look at age because this technology can be used for many ages as long as they can already understand how the workings and functions of blockchain technology exist, so this is an amazing progress because few can really understand blockchain easily.

I'm actually really curious about all these seminars ongoing now and especially about the approach you used. I've seen some approach it strictly from the white paper perspective, while most start off with the price.

One of the most interesting videos I watched was a Bitcoin demo in Nigerian pidgin! Now that was super useful I bet even if I didn't get a word of it;)

This is actually a good concept in sharing the information of bitcoin to newbies in the blockchain world. Give them a thorough enlightenment about the pros and cons of the sector is what we need to orientate them with because of the numerous scam surrounding the blockchain sector. Does the seminar also include a trading experiment section or it was just basically introduction of blockchain technology?

Op has already shown real action to introduce cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin on his friends. That's good enough, hopefully, it can have a positive impact and provide the right education, because we know that a lot of understanding is wrong about bitcoin because of media coverage that is sometimes too hyperbole. It would be better if you work closely with influential and experienced resource persons in their fields, with the team that you have can certainly work on it.

One day we created his wallet and for his interest, I gave him 0.001 Bitcoin. I have another nephew of just 11 years old who won 0.001 bitcoin in an online game and he remembers that he has his bitcoin. Bitcoin is our present and there is a great future ahead.

That’s a really good thing you did for them. It’s good that they get to know about Bitcoin while they are still in school. They will start taking part in it a little bit and as time goes on they will try to raise some money and invest. By then they must have understood the risks that are involved in it and how they can handle it and avoid losing much of their money.

I always recommend to people that they make use of a cryptocurrency wallet that is available to their locality. Where I live most of the people that are making use of bitcoin are using the Luno wallet and that’s because they can easily exchange their coins at anytime and it’s a very secure wallet and exchange available on both mobile and desktop. They can buy cryptocurrency, exchange at anytime and also withdraw to their bank accounts. It makes things a lot easy.

They should try to avoid inviting newbies to investment scheme or shilling their shitcoins.

The Bitcoin Seminar is great because in this way people will be more knowledgeable about Bitcoin. The Seminar provides information on how people invest well. In my country also often hold Bitcoin seminars such as INDODAX. Seminars are also often used to collect crypto traders to exchange knowledge.

For new people who know the Blockchain and want to trade crypto coins. This will be helpful in determining when it is appropriate to buy crypto coins.

It kinda nice to have people like you, giving back to the community and not just gaining to the cryptocurrency but making noise about it spreading it to a lot of people and with that, of course they will also somehow gain money just like you do. But of course that thing also depends on the person if he or she are really dedicated into this and spending time to be knowledgeable in cryptocurrency then then will find a lot of ways to gain money.

I wish i have met you, or met a guy just like you and make friends with you to furthermore expand my knowledge and also spread my knowledge onto others. People like you makes cryptocurrency more understandable to the public.

This is a good strategy for promoting Bitcoin. I am delighted to know that there interested people who are willing to listen and get themselves educated about Bitcoin. I hope you don't forget to also introduce them to the volatile nature of Bitcoin, to discuss not only the advantages but also the risk of engaging with it. I hope someday that the educational institutions would give permission to held seminar about Bitcoin within larger audiences or to form an organization and clubs related to cryptocurrency.

In investing as well most people have lost their money.

Just in my mind, trading and investing are risk even in the other investment place like in gold as well.

You will be lose when you didn't know how to predict it, because after all trading and investing have a same strategy and an analyst as well.

You may need to educate them the function of bitcoin in the future, like as payment system and as a tool to send money in different country.

We will be benefited when we use bitcoin especially for sending money, maybe you just need several times for the fund is received by the receiver.

Don't tell to them about the profit that will be gained if they have bitcoin, because they will be hurt when bitcoin is decreasing and you might know the decrease if bitcoin when the bearish come.

Now this is a very good example of Bitcoin promotion. As we educate other non-Bitcoin users, we can widen the scope of our mission. If we really want to use Bitcoin as also a form of currency recognized by the government, we might as well let the government realize that many people have the will and interest. With this simple method, little by little, we can educate more people about what Bitcoin can do good and bad to us, and what we can do with Bitcoin too. It is important therefore that the explanation we are giving to them is clear and concise and whatever queries and questions they might have, is answered truthfully and without hesitation.

So instead of having seminar I just spend some time with them one by one and having a conversation about crypto and all the things they want to know about it.

Conducting small seminars like this would be a good step to promote Bitcoin so more people will be aware about it. We all know that we all need adoption and without enough knowledge for more users, things will still not work well. We could also simply share everything about Bitcoin with our friends through simple conversations because that will still serve as an eyeopener for them to know how cryptocurrency works but apart from the benefits, we should also inform them about the risks of investing with crypto.

Well, if we hold seminars on bitcoin trading and the opportunity to be profitable with bitcoin, that will be something that can be considered and organized because this is a common need and problem that people are most interested in recently, making money on this market can only be based on trading, so knowledge about this field is very interesting and will receive a lot of support. The general knowledge of bitcoin does not need seminars, too many sources explain clearly, just visit and read bit by bit

one day bitcoin will be recognized by itself even without being promoted, in the social media group that I joined, almost nobody even promoted the introduction of bitcoin, but its members continue to grow, but if anyone wants to promote bitcoin, maybe bitcoin will develop faster.

But be you aware that if we don't promote it, that day may never come.

To make bitcoin grow faster, promotion is one of the best way to spread the bitcoin across the globe. Bitcoin will not introduce itself, it needs the support of the user. How can you believe at something, if there are nothing to support. By conducting seminars I think, its better to cooperate with schools since minors or teenagers need to learn how save their money and where will they get extra money.

What is most important about teaching btc to people who are new to it is making them understand the disadvantage of it, because given such big dreams about making quick money from it will only do more harm than good,
It is a great idea to want to spread the word of btc but it is equally important to let people know what they are getting involved with, the interest should come naturally, that way, the person will be able to withstand the constant ups and downs of market,
People use btc more as an investment rather than the technology, so the interest is more on the return of investment which is why it is important to emphasize more on the risk involved, especially to new members.

For this is the second effective way of educating people about cryptocurrency as a whole not just the bitcoin. It's overwhelming to see that there are some people who is initiating seminars about cryptocurrency, I'd like to have for myself once in my life but the internet is taking it wildly that is why the first most effective way of educating people belongs to the internet. The video/content creation/ article platforms solely made for crypto scene is best straw to sip knowledge in general terms.

Your action on teaching the people on the world of Bitcoin technology alongside the Blockchain deserve applause for your efforts. The truth is, I do teach friends about the technology called Bitcoin whenever I come across my friends and colleagues. This has been my means of reaching out to the people about Bitcoin technology and Blockchain. Its good to reach out to others about Bitcoin for adoption.
