Post by: tihancristiangabriel on January 26, 2020, 08:51:00 PM
It seems that scammers never sleep. They have created a site where you can buy mining power. Please do not buy anything from them, everything is a lie and you will run out of money.

Domain: bitmain.farm
Registrar: Name.com, Inc.
Registered On: 2019-08-09
Expires On: 2020-08-09
Updated On: 2019-11-16

To attract you, they will pay you the first 3 days, then no longer respond to email / chat.
The evidence is here: https://bitmoneytalk.com/bitmain.farm-reviews/

There is no connection between Bitmain China and Bitcoin Farm.
They stole over 200 bc

Thanks for the warning, but obviously, if it has *Bitmain* name on it and it's not the real company they you have to be very suspicious about it. An mining power? nah, this kind of scams have been prevalent ever since and people shouldn't fallen for this trick anymore because a lot of warnings have been posted about this scams.

Hi,

Most of mining scams are quite easy to detect by comparing promised hash power and returns to actual mining returns. Idea taken from here: https://www.cryptogandalf.com/post/non-legit-cloud-mining-companies-revealed (https://www.cryptogandalf.com/post/non-legit-cloud-mining-companies-revealed). Best site to check actual mining profitability, I have found, is https://bitinfocharts.com/ (https://bitinfocharts.com/).

Interestingly Bitmine.farm promised returns are much lower than you expect on given hash rates. Reason is that, site fakes hash rates. Example they say: "Antminer S17 Pro+ 28000000 GH/s" when actually machine hash rate is 73TH/s not 28000 TH/s.

Maybe just maybe the site use coinpayments as their payment gateway? So coinpayments isn't directly connected to them, but still, I wonder how coinpayments accepted this site/business as merchant. I thought they check business profile/info before they accept merchants.

Anyway, this should be very first thing people should observe, websites having the name of bitmain or its logo should not be trusted.
