It is a emotional fot everyone who loves Kob Bryant. Even though I'm just a fan, it still hard for me that my idol is now gone. He's last tweet in twitter is for Lebron James and Lebron is so brokenhearted now when he heard the news of the kobre bryants death. How did you reacted when you heard the news about Kobe?

I thought it was a hoax or something until I Googled his name and the news started pouring in.

That's pretty shocking to say the least.

Well I did some research on his self owned chopper. They rate at a high safety level.

More then 1,000,000 miles per accident.

But he used it a lot a real lot. So I guess it was not as big of a surprise as I thought 💭.

Sad 😞 as a lot of people died. Nine people.

God bless them and the remaining family.

I thought it was just five as they were going to the basketball camp to train some kids and watch his daughter play that's also onboard. I condole for the rest of the bereaved family of those who lost. Just to tribute Kobe's greatness on the world of basketball I'd wear this profile text of mine saying "RIP". God bless them.

It just goes to show you how precious and short life is. Anything can happen at anytime, so we should never take anything or anyone for granted.

Life is full of surprises whether you like it or not. Cherish the moment while you live and don't forget to leave a great impact to others. Remember nothing last forever in this world.

This news really shocked the world. I was a great fan of Kobe bryant. Her death really disappointed me. I tried to embark his achievement in my blog post (https://bestofshayari.blogspot.com/2020/01/the-13-most-outstanding-achievements-of.html) as well.
Some of his achievement were like:-
In just his second season he was selected to the first All-Star Game in the league in 1998.

-In his career he accumulated a total of 18 appearances to the All-Star Game, and was selected four times as the Most Valuable Player of the classic.

-Totalized 20 seasons in the NBA, all with the Lakers, accumulating 1,346 games in his career.

-Figure in the fourth place in the line of annotations in the history of the league with 33,643 points. On Saturday he was overtaken by LeBron James in third place.

- He was selected the Most Valuable Player in the league in the 2007-08 season.

I thought its a fake news as well since I used to read a fake articles in social for different personalities, but this one is for real. I was shock knowing he is athletic and healthy person, an example that we dont hold our lives and anything can happen.

The sad part is he is with his daughter and friends, I cant imagine how Bryant family could feel knowing they lost 2 of their loved ones, may they rest in piece.

Not sure if you guys are aware but there's another news about a Tweet surfacing 7 years ago predicting his death. Pretty creepy:

It is very unfortunate what happened to him... and he was only 41 years old. RIP, Kobe!

Coming back to what UserU also mentioned, I saw that nobody else sensed. Practically, 7 years ago, a guy predicted that Kobe will die in a helicopter accident. Not just an accident, but a helicopter accident. How can that be? Doesn't anyone find this amazing?

Death is always nearby, and unless you fully realise and accept this fact, you don't live to your full potential. Btw, this realization came to me only after a heroic dose of shrooms ;)

A sad day for the whole world when we have heard that one of the best died due to the accident crash. He's the one and his daughter who's actually getting all the media spot and this is how popular Kobe is.

But sadly, there's also a coach together with his wife and daughter that also died in that accident.

So devastating to read those news.
The saddest part in my opinion it was that Gianna, his 13 year old daughter was death in this accident. It will be a difficult moment and possibly a difficult life for the whole Bryant family. RIP Kobe.

Kobe is a legend. Friday’s Laker game on ESPN is a must watch. I agree the saddest part of the incident is the death of his daughter Gigi. Anyone who is a fan of Kobe knows that is the part that would hurt him most. She was going to carry on his legacy. So sad.

She's doing great in Basketball and really taking the path of Her father, she is a future WNBA star but all of this are gone now She's a pretty Talented young lady like her father.

sure i will be watching that Friday Game because for sure this will be a tribute to a great Legendary Player.

Kobe Bryant was too young to die. It would be kind of ESPN to air his funeral since that is what some TV stations do for unexpected passings of celebrities. I know that ABC aired Nipsey Hussle's funeral after he died.

In Europe basketball is not a massive sport on the lines of other games such as rugby and of course football/soccer. I remember Bryant appearing a TV commercial with Lionel Messi promoting Turkish Airways and though I knew he was a basketball player I did not know much else about him.

Could somebody please elaborate if Bryant was active in fund raising for good causes and whether he was involved actively in his local community as well as in philanthropy?

i am not sure about Him having foundation for a cause or even a  philanthropy because i am only  a fan of basketball specially of Lakers but what i am sure of is He visited our country for 7 times just to attend basketball camps (of course some promotion as well from various company, but Kobe make sure to have a courtesy call to our president everytime he visits here)that is why me and my countrymen loves and respect him so much.

actually the day when helicopter crashed he is also going to a basketball camp together with His daughter Gianna because he is Building the young Girl to be a basketball start also.

Kobe is not just popular because he plays in NBA, he is popular because even outside the court he have passion about his philanthropy. He has charity works and it is the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation. He is star not only for basketball fans because he is star for everyone. He also promotes gender equality, justice and fairness.

Oh wow, to find out about it from Bitcointalk. To me this is one of those stories that you will always remember where you were when you heard it. He was that big. I was in the laundromat and overheard someone talking about it. I had to calm myself down to not cry.

what is intriguing is why the accident happen, seems there are a human failure about decision making.the weather is not that good when they risk the flight ,but we cannot do anything now since our Kobe is already passed away.

I am a fan of sports and not specific to certain sports because I also love volleyball, softball and almost all sports that are very challenging especially by bringing achievements to defend the country would be very happy to watch. but with the news about the hilkopter accident that brought Kobe Bryant quite a surprise too, after all Kobe Bryant is a legend of basketball ball sport that is very accomplished in his time and the dedication that is implanted still remains today. of course many feel lost with this incident because energy and mind are still very much needed for sports, especially basketball. RIP Kobe Bryant
