I lost alot hold Altcoins in 2018 thinking they will pop up again, some went from $1 to $0.00001, some are not even on any exchange for now. BTC is the king so why bet against it

Just forget those coins who have already removed from the list and you can try to consider investing in a better coin like tezos, cosmos, etc. A coin like doge is not worth to be your long term investment as i can consider if 1 year should be included in the long term investment. That's better to get the best coin rather than betting on the volatility. We have another choice just like dash, iexec and many more. On the list, I trust them for one year hodling. Most if not all of those on your list will grow in price after a year but only if the market is not bearish. If it is bearish most of the time in that year, none of them might increase in value. Leading me to point out that you better choose BTC, ETH, XRP, XMR, LTC, and XLM. Funny it is because it is a known meme coin but that makes it interesting for me.
Despite of being like that, still it made it a no joke coin anymore because many considers it as an option to hold even with less than a year. Bitcoin, do you have it? Usually alts like matic pump a lot and then they never reach their peak for years if ever, just look at most charts of coins and you can see this happen. Dogecoin actually always goes up above 50 satoshi quite easily so that one you do not wait 1 year you just wait for the price pump.
My opinion is BTC all the way of course. XRP and MATIC are the good coins from your list. In my opinion other than it must be removed from your list. You must learn more about how to choose a good coin and divide your portfolios into the right portion for any coins.
Bitcoin must be putted at the top of everything. I will still prefer the old but still on the discussions as the top altcoins, which is Ethereum, with the whole Defi hype, it might be good to be a bagholder for at least a year. Remember that when Bitcoin will have it's usual bull run this year, that first coin that might get the domino effect is Ethereum so it will be a good investment today because obviously the price is still very affordable and cheap. Going for lower ranking coin is risky but there are certain things people need to look for in coin/token before selecting it because being a top ranking coin does mean the coin will thrive in the future. Mind you, ETH was once a low ranking coin and it early investors profit now is more than x1000. |
