When price up to 1$ in XRP

With the current condition of XRP and bitcoin needs to go to the 40k to make XRP worth $1 for each XRP coin. My question is did you get trapped on that price? I meant if you have bought your XRP $1 for each coin.
I will not put a lot of expectation caused by the dump from the developer still continue.

Ripple have all potential to bounce back but it all depends on how cryptocurrency market going to perform in  upcoming days because we know last bullish market was in 2017-2018 that time the Ripple price was higher than $3 but after the market crash still now we didn't see any much improvement in Ripple price so once bull market is active in crypto surely we can see Ripple price more than $1.

If you're looking for an exact time and date on when will happen... actually we don't even know too, we don't have any ideas so far when it will happen but if the bitcoin goes bullish definitely the altcoins will go bullish as well since most of the altcoins are in pair with bitcoins.

With the current situation of the xrp there's a chance that it may go bullish however a 1$ is a very high target for the market i think you should wait for a long time to see the result, I didn't say that it will happen or won't happen but market is a volatile place and we may not know what will happen.

If Bitcoin reaches a new all time high this year then you can expect the price of XRP to reach or go a ove $1. Untill that time comes the price will be hovering around the present range.

In 2017 XRP did reach the price point of $1 when Bitcoin reached $17k.

I assume 1 dollar is feasible for XRP (which I hope wasn't even an option, wish it dropped less than 1 cent) because that is about 4 times the current price and when we are talking about altcoins x4 is really not something unimaginable. Definitely it looks like it is not going to happen anytime soon, it looks like maybe very very unlikely but at the same time it is technically possible thing to do.

I assume in few years time it will probably happen if XRP keeps this sort of hype going and the market keeps going up. When all other coins go up and XRP keeps the third rank that means it will definitely reach those levels. We have seen it before as well so it is not impossible and we have seen it before, so when bitcoin reaches 20k maybe xrp will be 1 dollar as well.

i had been waiting as well because i have plenty of XRP sitting in my wallet and waiting to be released because i have bought in higher value.
i am trapped last hype so i choose to hold still than selling in losing side because i know this will grow again sooner.
i will not wait for 1$ it is enough for me at least 0.60-70$ value and i will convert all to bitcoin or Ethereum that is my original plan though lets see what will happen soon.

It is still not predicted for Ripple that we will see $ 1 from the graphical side, the movement is so slow unlike other coins, we know that Rippel has a large market capitalist, but in pumping it is not able to redeem it and it also takes a long time to become that much.
As Ripple is still in the stage of correction where we will see after bitcoin at the big pump then how will Ripple react at that time.

That's a common thing in the crypto when you can expect such rate can be achieved with the help from bitcoin. The old story will never come back again as these days so many crypto users have very well known about the market. Remember they have been buying it in the past without try to know more about the fundamental of coin.

It's hard to see xrp on $1 sooner. The market cap should increase by 4times in order to gain that price but it's too early for that. The market has just started to recover and were seeing a bullish movement. I think maybe next few years again unless the market to continue to increase this 2020. As long as btc keeps going up xrp could follow and all those major coins.

That can happen if the recovery of this market is continuous and there is no severe dump in this condition, Ripple is a big coin but it cannot go up by itself but there must be a movement from new bitcoin to be able to follow it.
For some time now I have not seen a big pump in the ripple which only decreases continuously when it is down.

No-one knows or can accurately predict when XRP will hit a certain price. All we can do is look at what is influencing price movements. If you do some research, you will see that there is plenty of good news around XRP (not just Ripple the company), which should push the price upwards. The reason it is not moving up is that there is downwards pressure as well, mainly from Ripple themselves dumping new tokens onto the market each month - 1 bn from Escrow each time. Now a lot of these end up going back to Escrow, but the point is they are released and it causes price suppression. So at the moment we are in an uneasy middle ground where there is a lot of pushing on price from both directions. I would suggest that when one side finally gains enough traction to cause a price movement, we may see a quite dramatic shift, indeed this sort of pressure building in both directions followed by a sudden release may be why we have seen such sharp price changes in this coin in the past.

TL;DR It's a good coin but its price is being held back. If it starts moving, chances are it will move quickly.

Depends on when is the next Altcoin bull run. For sure when we touch that, XRP is one of the best performing coins. Sure it has a lot of doubters in the past, but what if you can make a ton of money, let say in a year or two by just holding on it? So safe bet is that when crypto is already in the bull run phase similar to 2017 and early part of 2018 (for altcoins top 10), XRP might reach $1.

You should ask the price of XRP in terms of Bitcoin price. If you ask it in dollar price, it does not matter really. If you take a look at the price of XRP right now, it is increasing. It is already at $0.237523. And you might say it is good that it is increasing but the truth is that it is only increasing because Bitcoin is increasing. The real price of XRP right now is in red. It has went down to 2.5K sats. I prefer to look at the price of XRP increasing in BTC rather than USD.

I think before 2022 it will possible on crypto market, because right now all the coins are growing slowly and top altcoins are stay in a positive region. XRP have huge marketcap altcoin so many new investors are buy hold for long term investment. But all the peoples are concentrate BTC next price and most are monitoring the BTC bull run because of further growth is decide the altcoins growth.

if the capitalization reached at least 500 billion again?i am pretty sure that XRP(ripple)will hit 1$ again ,but so far with our status?it is harder for this centralized currency to break the 0.50$ value not unless the banking industry will Bet on this one and help the pump happens.

I think this year it will be close to not touching $ 1, but it could be possible if there is a big pump continuously.
XRP has a good movement after looking at it from the graph but we also need time to look at the analysis that happened maybe this will make up for it?

All else are going to rise up when there is a bullrun. The last one is when XRP reaches up to $3 so for me its not going to be hard to believe its also going to touch the ATH again or maybe even surpass it. I always bear in mind that all will go up that even the DOGE will go to its full swing upward because the bulls today are very different than it was the last time.

I don't like this project from the first day. The super whales that own most of the XRP supply, Right now they are paper millionaires, even after this huge crash. On paper they are richer than the richest guys in tech right now. One day they will cash out that monopoly money into real Fiat. When they do, they will be so fucking rich in an instant, but the price of XRP will rupture and plummet back down to a ridiculously low price, maybe 1 penny. That day could tomorrow or next month or next year. But trust me, those guys will want to cash out at some point, because they don't believe this coin, too.

I think all xrp holders have more exceptions on ripple price but xrp still under their expectations. because it has been trading under $0.25 from the past few months and still we can not see any signs of bull runs in xrp. so we can predict that xrp will have more ability to hit $1 very soon.

Looking at the chart a year ago, XRP hasn't seen anything that stands out. Even though it's good, it's only able to reach $ 0.46. if bitcoin moves up quite significantly then it can be ascertained that xrp and other altcoins are quite uplifted and to reach $ 1 will be passed easily. through the development that is good enough to reach $ 1, it will not be impossible to achieve this year, although bitcoin has not increased significantly.

It depends and this isnt only applied on XRP alone but in most top ranking alts in the market.The market now isnt the same just like that 2017 time.

The answer is we don't know. Perhaps, it will happen when the market gets a bull run so that it can make all of the coin price increase so high. But until that time, no one will know, and we cannot expect it to happen in a short time. But that can happen in a short time if Ripple has a big demand in buying order so the price will increase soon.

I think Ripple has big support in the market, but that will not easy to lift the price to increase if the bull run is not coming, and people can only wait for more and more. But like the other coins, Ripple has the potential to grow, and it's only about the time that will answer.

XRP holders are just keeping the coins because this is more cheaper to invest than other ranked currency ,with below 0.25$ price?how can you resist buying and holding this when we knew it can reach more than 1$ soon specially in this positive season?

Why did ripple do an IPO? Its almost like they want to take profits now because the project is going to fail long term. Why did the founders dump their xrp? Why haven't big banks came forward and used xrp? Its centralized garbage headed up a guy fired from Yahoo for financial scandals.  Do you really think xrp will replace swift? They handle 5 trillion dollars daily.  Zero chance.  It will follow bitcoin up slowly but look elsewhere for good gains.

Already XRP has marked its ath price above $1.75 which is really a good value for an asset that has got more large scale use. Along with the market downtrend of bitcoin the values of XRP too continued to fall low. This is the one to give competence to the ethereum, by that time it was mentioned as a manipulated growth.

Whether XRP is a manipulative asset or a centralized asset doesn't concern much, but the growth is sure to happen for long term and short term.

Exactly! I of course would like altseason to arrive again, so my Waves and NEO and LTC can all go to $100 and above;) But the problem is, when is this coming, or will it even come? And people seem to keep thinking ATH for bitcoin is coming any day now. They thought it in 2019 and they think it again this year but what if we have to wait 5 years?

this year it looks like it will look better. for last year because it did not happen then we can only hope this year will happen. if you see some renewal plans that will be carried out by some big projects in the crypto market, of course, it can make the altcoin season back again. we can only hope that all hopes are truly realized this year.

Trust me, some coins won't. I've been watching some of my bags (yes I'm a victim of bag buying from 2017) and even when Bitcoin rallied last year and even now, they have not moved. When ETH and LTC and most other alts are at least 2x from their 2019 low and my bags grunted and rose a few satoshi, I know for sure they're truly dead.

In a few days xrp slightly increased prices and if only this bullish can be maintained in the foreseeable future it will certainly be very profitable for traders who still believe in xrp as an investment, I think the xrp price surge will occur along with the rising price of bitcoin, but to be able to reach the price of $3 this year seems to be very difficult to happen, so, I'm sure if xrp will only reach the price of $0.3 or as high as $0.45 by the middle of this year.

It would take a great deal of effort to get the value of ripple to $1. This is as a result of the very high number of tokens the project holds and many more developments and trust needs to be added to the project to get such an outstanding sum.

XRP is a good project and has been in existence for a long time. On my joining the cryptocurrency industry, I noticed XRP was the 3rd largest project in terms of coin market cap and it traded on low prices. This made it a great investment choice as an increase could cause a multiplier effect which would give investors greater returns.

hopefully there will be an increase this year, because I have a few xrp and got a huge profit. so hopefully there is a miracle this year for xrp so that the price goes up.

XRP hit over $1 during the last bull run, and if  Bull run will come back again, it's possible that XRP will be valued over $1 again.
It may take time but XRP is a legit coin with lots of supporters, so it's just a matter of time.

The company behind XRP has actually got some more money recently, some 200 million dollars. Which means even tho XRP is the most centralized coin ever in existence, it also means the company will be capable of doing something more than they have done so far with the money they got. They are leaving more and more shares of the company to others which means they are not caring about the XRP part as much as before and nowadays only focus on the fact that they are getting away with being a startup instead.

Maybe they first started out as a crypto currency company at first, but nobody can deny that they are a startup now. With them focusing more on getting the company bigger and better, I am sure XRP will be left alone more and more instead of getting printed more to make money for them, which in return may cause the price to go up.

Will you believe if there are some user who stated that the price will up to $1 at x month? If you will then I'm sure you will be regreted to believe it at the end. Simple put there will not anyone who will know that the price coin price will up and go down in the future because if there is someone who know it he will be someone who get s lot of profit from this investment place. You won't ever find an expert though who stated that he believes the coin will up to the x price confidently. They will just give a prediction like with technical analyst or some news that he made an analisyst against it.

It is in 1/4 of of your desired price, though it may count a little but it is totally far, in XRP condition. If we will relate it to bitcoin it seems that it would have to even doubled its price. Anyway, when will it reach $1? Tell you, no one knows man, though if there are some sort of analysis out there, it still ends up being a bunch of claims/predictions, may be it does have basis but it ain't much a real thing, in the end. Anyway, if I remember it correctly, dunno if it is to XRP's stuff, there was a thread saying that XRP is not decentralized at all. Not going to tell the whole story, but if it is a real thing... then pretty much, there will be a highly significant effect to XRP price.

The question is not: When will it reach 1$...
The question is: When will it reach 5$?

The ATH of XRP is 3.84$, with BTC at 20,000$ at the same time.
And yes: There are more XRPs coming into the market, but there are more players coming into the market.
That's why:
Every big bullrun causes new ATHs.
And the next big bullrun will also do that.

Beside: In a heated market, prices of strong coins can double in seconds. I've seen that. And I have seen that with XRP. And I will see that again...

It is important to be aware that XRP can be very volatile, and exhibit the sort of price behaviour we normally associate with much smaller coins. The sort of rise we've seen today is far from unprecedented; equally a sudden drop back to say $0.23 is far from unlikely. I have learnt with this coin that short-term movements mean very little, as the chance of the new price level being sustained without a quick pullback is dubious. Of course this makes it the dream coin for day traders. I however am not a trader, but I do like the coin from a long-term perspective - the use case is extremely robust, and the team at Ripple are exceptional.

This coin was one of the most efficient performer on trading nowadays, it's the most in demand asset. Indeed, volatile movement of xrp always showed more potentiality despite of an ongoing fluctuations. But if you learned the ways on how to manage this coins, you won't lose your profit but rather gain minimal profit that could accumulate in the long run.

Ripple price is currently in critical stage because just now i read some article about Ripple it is going to release 1 billion XRP releasing from Escrow wallet it may impact Ripple price to dump if we have bullish in crypto market also so it's better to understand the Ripple current situation it can come down more downside in coming days.

I do agree that when Bitcoin ATH comes, so will ATH for most other coins. The question is not when (10 years 20 years so what) but yes,,, how high. I do agree once 20k is broken for BTC, we will surely see 100k at some point. And $5 then for XRP is nothing BUT at the same time, can it survive the dumping even at $4?

I guess they already had huge announcement regarding their new emerging products xRapid and Xcurrent. These new products are been introduced to boost the transaction speeds in the ripply blockchain and also some centralized authorities like webmoney, perfect money, etc might soon be on the verge to start accepting payments through those fast transacting networks which would bring XRP to its fullest use case which would also boost the price for XRP.

Still.. yes, price for most of the altcoins including XRP majorly depends upon the price for bitcoins so we can't say the price would boost if the price for bitcoins stays below the support levels.

Well, for the worst years in the past, expecting the price of xrp to reach at least $1 is something that is beyond imagination, a task that is almost impossible to succeed but look at the market right now, those predictions are values that can come true because one of the most favorable conditions worked, the value of bitcoin is creating more space for altcoins this year, xrp will have a chance to go to the moon with bitcoin. Regardless of whether this project has developments or not, bitcoin's permission can still determine the value of ripple, $1 will not be too far for ripple when bitcoin calls its name.

We already saw XRP surpasses $1 sometimes during the Bullrun and there is no reason why it won't happen again even though it is a centralized coin.
XRP did great even of the worse day in the market and only the thing that even bothered us or has doubts in our mind is just because of its price manipulation and I don't think we need to deal it hard but rather to be in the positive insights looking for a moment that it will follow of what the other altcoins movement. 

$1 might be a hard challenge for XRP to achieve. The price is already been struggling below $0.25 and recently price jumped from $0.21 to $0.23 which was a good achievement after long days of the bearish signs. We can't predict the price for XRP if ever we land up in the bullish markets because prices for each coins might be pumped to a major extend in the upcoming bull runs.

Ripple is one of the most major altcoin of all times and hence there also are a lot of big whales accumulated on XRP. XRP gives vast benefits to the investors because of the low price which is less than $0.25 and it keeps investors on the positive side of profits investing into XRP.

This is why Ripple will never be good in investment because it's always stable as always. And now if that article is true what could be the price of Ripple in the future? Whales are always playing their rules and if you are too naive to catch up with them then you are already been played before you know what it.

I seriously hope that it will fall from the third place, the sad part is the rivals around it are also horrible ones. The ones following XRP are also bitcoin cash, bitcoin sv, and tether. That is literally the worst thing we could ever think of when we talk about coins but they are the top 4 coins outside of bitcoin and ethereum. I can find something wrong with ALL of them and that is very upsetting to think about.

XRP is horrible because the owners made it centralized when they first created it and we literally have a coin where the owners can print and sell millions whenever they want to and there is nothing we can do. Bitcoin cash and bitcoin sv are coins of passion that some rich folks made and otherwise it worths nothing to anyone else. Tether literally declared they do not back their tether 1 to 1 anymore and people still use it these days.

To be honest, despite Ripple is the third best cryptocurrency in the market , and it has some characteristics like, the high value of market cap, and the low price is appropriate for buying an acceptable amount of XRP but to be honest, and I don't really guess and predict that this crypto of " BANKS " will have a brilliant  future, and probably some digital currencies will be better than it in terms of value like, Bitcoin cash and Litecoin.. ect.
Plus, the current price of XRP is pretty low , it is just $ 0.26 and It may stay on that value until the end of this month I would guess.

In the recent market situation, I could see that XRP was the first coin to grow from $0.23 to $0.27 and that it was followed by bitcoins by moving from $9100 to $9400. So in this case, XRP was the coin to bring the short bull runs and hence we have to believe that it might be the same situation whenever the real bull runs arrive.

In no time, XRP can have a boost and it might even carry bitcoins along. Until now, bitcoins were the first coin to show some growth which are then followed by a number of other altcoins but perhaps the recent situations were because of the big whales who accumulated below $0.25 which made the price quickly experience a pump.

It is a big surprise when we saw XRP soaring at $5 for this time. Apparently, XRP has never been looked at that stronger enough to be valued that amount knowing the reason that its price can be manipulated. And by looking now its current position we could say that reaching $2 is already a miracle to happen. But being 3rd in a row on the market volume we can't deny that many investors are giving their trust and confidence that this coin could help them either.

Well, if we consider the actual price and the price reached in the last Bullrun, XRP just got x15. Compared to the BTC who got x3, I think there is more chance to get money with XRP for the next bullrun than holding BTC. And even more if BTC go higher than 20k this time.

This is how I see the situation

According to my calculations, I can predict the price for XRP to reach $1 in next 3 to 4 months. Current price for XRP has started growing and it might continuously have a rise until we arrive in the bull runs. I can predict that XRP might cross $0.56 until the bull runs arrive and once we land up in the bull runs, the price would continuously keep on rising which might cross your target of $1.

But, as we all know that the price for XRP can't say on the peak for longer time so eventually it would dump after reaching the ATH which would than again bring the price back to below $0.5. Saying anything in the current markets for short term is a bit riskier and hence I was forced to calculate profits for mid-range i.e for 3 to 5 months.

   I doubt XRP can go to 1$ when they released billions of dollars in XRP coins from their escrow. many people think that XRP will drop
more. Maybe you need to do your calculations one more time, I think that XRP can't get close to 1$ in next 6 months!
   I hold XRP from more than a year! Since I got in price is declining, and declining, and I starting to doubt that XRP can hit new all times
high price with this spending coins from their escrow. This is not the first time they doing that!

Personally, I still believe that XRP would reach $1 easy if this bullish market trend will continue longer.

although the potential of being $ 2 is there, but I think it's quite difficult to achieve. looking at the current situation, the price of XRP is even more difficult to be above the price of $ 0.3, even after the increase some time ago. however, you say that seeing XRP prices reach $ 2 is a miracle, but I think the real miracle is seeing XRP prices reach $ 0.5 before the halving bitcoin happens.

Perhaps, the first target for XRP to reach its $1 so then the price will reach the next target price. But it is difficult to predict for the next price in XRP because XRP price will come following bitcoin price trends. If bitcoin price can increase higher and break more than $10k, then XRP price might increase to $0.5 first, and it can rise higher.

But to reach $1, it will need big support from the people, so the XRP prices slightly increase to the higher rate. We don't know when the XRP price can increase higher and it still on the way to go that price step by step. We need to have the patience to wait for the price to rise the price that we want. all possibilities are still open for XRP to get its new ATH. but as you said the pumping season must occur very strongly. not only bitcoin but altcoin must also have a strong request to run bull. and XRP will get its position back.

That $ 1 is a fantastic price for XRP coins but currently still stands at $ 0.2. I'm sure if XRP can reach $ 1 but it might take a long time and I'm including a lover of this coin. if the price of BTC can break through the $ 40K number then XRP will be worth $ 1 and I think it depends on future BTC prices or maybe Altcoin has its own Bull Run without relying on future BTC prices.

This year not look positive for xrp this centralized coin can face huge competitions for sure so it's really difficult to estimate the decent growth of its price but other side the plus point is xrp has strongly established itself in top 10 coins list and it can be a good reason for its growth but in couple of years.

Check your numbers it is currently about 25% more than just that;)

ouch man . feel sorry for you but please dont call yourself stuped  because no one predicted its price at the first place  . you buy it because you are happy or you will be using it for something  . that is more important here in crypto and not the profit .  cryptos are still made for a purpose and not for the purpose of earning an easy money   . cannot say any specific price on xrp but i can only say tha xrp still have more room to grow  . for me ,  i only use xrp to gamble so i dont bother hodling it  .

Personally, I don't think alts will grow that much anymore if Bitcoin starts to grow, because more investors are trying to invest more in Bitcoin than in alts.

right now, the price decline is happening, if there is a further decline, I think the price of XPR will be below $ 0.2, even now the price is really close to the range of $ 0.19. however, if the price of bitcoin goes down to more than $ 7,500, I think the price of XRP will decrease below $ 0.2

As I said a few posts above, I bought XRP at 50 cents so if I see below 20 cents,,, in my mind it is only below 40% so I would probably add a bit more to it. I will definitely add at 10 cents though!

Just wait bitcoin to increase or pump reaching $20,000 again, XRP will hit $1. I like XRP because of fast transaction and also the low fee but I don't think if XRP is good for long term investment because the price is slowly down .

Although the growth of bitcoin is one of the conditions for altcoins like ripple to increase in price but as a major altcoin and high position in the market, ripple is not always dependent on bitcoin, it can still increase 1$, even 2$, even if bitcoin does not increase, and the important condition remains whether whales want to pump ripple or not. Thinking and choosing ripple for long-term investment, I feel this is also a viable option when the risks are low, the value is also quite stable, if we are patient, we will definitely gain profits.

The prices of all altcoins are falling at the moment, so it doesn't matter. A much more serious reason why you shouldn't invest in XRP is that it shouldn't even be called cryptocurrency, because XRP is centralized. XRP is not associated with BTC which means it's features are entire different from the decentralized system. Do you think it only happens to ripples? see Tron, LTC, INX, and even ETH also experience the same market problems. returns that occur only dominated by bitcoin with the largest percentage. while altcoin experienced a very slow return.

The potentials embeded in XRP has in no wise kept it below expectation. i believe the more partnership and usage the project gets is what wil drive the increase in both price and massive adoption as well as investors committing their funds to it. it has got  nothing to do with time but more of efforts by the team. XRP can exceed $4 by the end of the year if efforts are more intensified on partnerships.

the technology developed by Ripple is indeed very good for banking in the future. more and more people are using it and that will be better for the XRP market. we can see the huge adoption that occurred on the ethereum blockchain making demand also increase. that's because of the use of their platform. ripple can also imitate it.

Other coins may have gotten the same thing like ripple but at least other coins were not showing the worst thing like ripple. Eth was experiencing the same thing but it can bounce back again while ripple can't do that dude.

to reach the price of $ 1 is not easy for XRP because it all depends on market conditions. in my opinion $ 0.5 is a good price for XRP if this coin can go up to that price. but currently the price of XRP still stands at $ 0.2 or less. indeed XRP is a good coin and I'm sure this coin can go up to $ 1 if the price of Bitcoin can high soars. we'll see what happens in the future with this coin.

From 2019 XRP performance is poor, and until now there has been no sign that XRP will rise. So the possibility of XRP going up to $ 1 can

Even the XRP market cap is currently ranked 4th, whereas XRP is usually always ranked 3rd. If it continues like this can be passed by BCH,
BSV, LTC and BNB.

I am sure the next bull run will come soon. I already buy more XRP at a low price, and I don't mind to wait for more until the bull run comes. I don't think that the bull run can happen this year. But if the bull run does not go in there this year, that will not be a problem because we have much time waiting. The long term investment will be my choice in this crypto because I know that the price can not increase in one night, and sometimes, we need to wait for the long term. We already wait for almost 3 years since the last bull run, so I think the bull run will come soon.

The Ripple is still under performing that because of highly sluggishness in the crypto market for last 3 years and now when the market is about to growing at this time the whole world totally or partially gone shut down that because of COVID-19. So, as the Ripple is used in all financial institution and banking in the world level so the demand of this is down. Hence the Price is in a stagnant mood. But, the investment is still very beneficial if someone choose this coin as a investment asset. Definitely, you will see the price level of $5 in the coming year or next.
