There's no guaranty we are just moving in the halving period, and we all know Bitcoin reach over $10 k only to go back to the $7 k level, it's hard to predict it could move slowly or it could move fast or it could dip or surge, but don't worry this is Bitcoin's best year in two years.

slightly improve on bitcoins price will not lead to a bullish market cause no one knows what will happen to the price of bitcoin next month. As long as there is no fuds bitcoin price will be good.

I think bitcoin price will keep rising and falling, if you are into trading i suggest you start taking your profit by buying when price is lower and selling when price keeps increasing, these is a very good strategy of getting more bitcoin at hand, i don't expect continuous surging until after bitcoin halving

This is the start of the Bull Run I guess since the BTC halving is soon to come. the best way to Buy BTC is now. we need to ride this Bull run as soon as possible to be able to join the whales these coming months. you don't need to worry if the price will suddenly fall after this pump. you just need to wait for the uptrend again to sell your BTC. so it's a win-win situation for all of us. I wish I have some funds to buy some BTC now.

Buying some BTC now will indeed be profitable, but it should also pay attention to any reflections that occur.

in my opinion bitcoin will reach $ 10k this February. currently the price has reached $ 9.3k is close to $ 10k. but actually I am still doubtful because it is very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin everything is possible. it could be after reaching $ 9.5k bitcoin down again. we wait for me what will happen next.

It's normal to see hikes up to $ 15,000, but that doesn't mean we'll see 100% hikes.

The BTC price is near the $9,5k key resistance, it's possible to see it continue but I wouldn't be surprised if we see a correction once it hits it, especially if there is a good rejection. I would becareful longing at these areas, if you wanted to buy why didn't you buy at $6.5 or $7.5K a while back? Why buy now when we could have a repeat of April 2018.

Remember what happened in April 2018? People were seeing that $10K is near and people assumed it would at least hit $10K before heading lower and what happened? It came close to like $9900 or even $9950 and then poof, it went crashing down shortly after.

9950 with an expectation of 10 thousand is normal especially for a consolidation where people's expectations are low and they just want to make profit on swings.

You are afraid of longing now because you're still looking for short term gains like most people after a 2 year long bear market. Thse who are not afraid and can think outside the box are people who make money.

We are in a reversal. Even that big whale dump last week couldn't turn the momentum around. Without it we'd be at 10 thousand today.

nobody can really determine if the surge will continue next month but all is looking towards that direction. nevertheless, investing in the Bitcoin at the moment for an eye of a long period is still not at a loss as it has many untapped potentials that will still be embedded in the future.

Or it could be like early 2016. Then the price was going up. And then it went up for another 23 months and 6000%.

Hoping this $9,000 touched of Bitcoin again this year is not a bear trap/fake. Since what I noticed, the volume is lower now compare to previous one when we touched above $9,000 level also on this month also.
But what I also assume is dumping below $9,000 before was a pullback and we will see again continuation of the rally for the next few weeks/month.

The trend is likely going to stay up till we approach halving. This is what I think is likely to happen as we have steadily seen a positive price stability with some surge up. Maybe $9,000 is going to be sustained.

As we have touched the $9,000 level. We all want to see that bitcoin shall be stable on $8,500 - $9,000. And finally the $8,000 will be the strong support for this time. It's a mental game to think what will be the price of bitcoin by this upcoming February.

But does it really matter if most of us are becoming positive and optimistic since the prices are going in favor of us? IMO, the most important month will be after the halving and that should be the deciding months what will be the next path for bitcoin.

In my opinion, altcoins are staying behind again, and it means this pump is about cash moving around instead of entering this market, so I see as very likely we have a massive bullish breakout precisely because of this reason, since there must be a purpose in taking so much money from altcoins and move it into BTC.
The parabolic from last year was also fed from a lot of money from altcoins. But if the past is an indication, whatever comes after the top won't be positive for the crypto market as a whole.

No one could predict exactly what will happen with bitcoin price on next month. From last week we have seen bitcoin playing around $8K to $9K+, still its above $9K currently. I am assuming it would reset again to $8K zone on next month. Still there is no sing for bull run. Who know it is just a manipulation by whales to grab money from us. However, don't expect quick pump right now, there no such as reason. If you wondering to buy bitcoin then you may wait at least a week, so possibly you would buy few lower price. If you want to sell then likely you can sell now (if any urgency), if there is no urgent to sell then hold for few more month (just not for February). Bitcoin is much volatile and it will remain always although sometimes stay stable.

So many opinions but nothing so accurate on any of these predictions, we should accept the fact that there is no such thing as 100% accurate prediction, we can just speculate on the highly speculative market so expect people to ask and give their own prediction, some base it on data some base it on their experience and situation.

it can reach high but also may fall,this is the problem in volatile market no one can assure the prices tomorrow,though there is no need to be afraid as we are now getting closer and closer to Halving mate so in this case for sure by May beyond will have a better investment income.
for more than 2 years we are in this bear so it is reasonable to expect Good things in this once every 3 years event.

I know bitcoin at 2017 ago when bitcoin reach its an all time high and yeah that was very tempting me to have at least 0.000btc but I didn't have at that time. So, I tried to figure out that bitcoin price was increasing in the early of 2017. Let we compare we the movement price of bitcoin right now, bitcoin price have been increasing in the early at this year and we know that in May bitcoin halving will come as well. I make a prediction that this year bitcoin price will be pumped again even we will see the all time high in the past will be passed. So, buying bitcoin at the current price is still promissing rather than you just watching it.

It does look like its not going to end anytime soon, at least not for a little bit more while, I don't know how long it will be and I
don't know if it will continue until next months end date but I am sure it will continue in the first days of February for sure.

What we should try to understand is that, bitcoin can go up until a place very easily which is called resistance, after it reaches that point it is harder to go further up, however if it breaks that point then it continues to go up until next point very easily again. So, we are at that point now, if it goes down and can't break the resistance then it won't be going up next month, if it breaks that point and goes further up, we will have a much higher top next month, its all depending on if we will break that level or not.

If there is one thing history has revealed about price movements is Crypto relies on Supply and demand and if we apply some fundamental analysis to this equation at hand, Chinese New Year and Valentine's might be something to look out for as people will be spending their crypto which could increase the price by having demand go up.
The way I see this, the up trend of BTC is still going up

Hard to say still. No one knows when will halving occur and there's no assurance that the market value will be continuously rising on the following months to come. There was an increase recently which was followed by a sudden decrease in the market value of Bitcoin. This is enough to tell that the market situation is hard to predict. With that being said, assuming something big will happen is an absurd thing. Be careful on investing an amount and make sure you are not afraid of the drawbacks.

Bitcoin's recent pump's target was 9600 USD, yesterday when I last checked the price was 9570 USD, I put sell order at 9600 USD and slept. But my order did not fill and today price has decreased by 250$! So, I still believe Bitcoin can reach at 9600 USD in the first week of February and we may see the most awaiting mark the 10K USD within February. This is all just possibilities, I can't ensure you!

Once the halving is completed we can expect the pump but until the time comes, it is really much hard to predict the markets. These markets might show us huge growth in the coming times but the risk remains constant as with huge profits, there comes a risk to huge loss which we can't avoid.

If the market moves in a reversal direction after we fill our orders than all that would be left with us would be loss with no signs of profits so it is always important for each of us to prepare ourselves for loss before thinking about the profits. Investment in high volatile markets would always keep the risk constant no matter how profitable the market seems but it might reverse in a glance of an eye.

Fuds is one of factors that do move the market value of Bitcoin in both positive and negative direction no doubt dude. The effect of positive fuds this year will really move Bitcoin price because it is in connection with halving and from past history, almost everyone are of the believe that halving do lead to Bitcoin price increase.

Well, prices are more stable now in the range of 9k and it looks like the rise will continue and it is possible to maintain the value at the next level in the range of 10k, this is a gradual increase and it is very good if indeed it will continue this year and with no sudden spikes, it will be good for the impact of growth that occurs because if a sudden increase will only create negative sentiment which results in a big correction.

We've already entered February but the price has not yet showed above $9500 which might soon be changed. Even I placed such order each night when I sleep just to see the order filled next morning I wake up but majority of times, I have seen only 30% to 40% of my orders filled over night and rest I have to complete by speculating the markets in the day time.

I have found greater profits in the day time trading rather than setting sell or buy orders at the night. Usually at night, we sleep and are unable to watch the graphs which does not give you an approx price to enter or exit. Most of the times, I avoid myself in making overnight trades.

Sudden price surge will create a quick selling causing it for the Bitcoin price to dump immediately, and will gradually pull back down again.
I agree that the slow progress is a positive movement so far, as retail investors will feel comfortable watching the market slowly gaining percentage. Though, sometimes It does have slight pull back, but will certainly get back up again on the latter.

Anyway, as per OP's question, there's no certain answer for that inquiry, because Bitcoin is very unpredictable. All you can get is another speculative statement.

We have different perspective, I see bitcoin will stagnant and after halving will goes down again. Many up movement is bait to collect fundamental and psychology sentiment that bitcoin will rise and keep rise after halving. This event will make value & volume split in two part and how people can say bitcoin will keep rise?. Make transaction in small value or replace all asset into currency is safety step, try to learn identify market movement, is it true or fake?

It is now $9300 and who knows what's gonna happen next. Bitcoin is very unpredictable and no one can really say if it will continue in the next few days but hopefully, it will continue to rise and reach at least $10,000 this month. The price has been very good in the last few days and we are expecting halving which we may expect a dump any moment so let's just make the most of the price now to prepare.

Looks like it will continue, we are already few days in already and we are not going down, even when we try to, the buy pressure and support helps us stay a bit above. Par some crazy fall because some super wealthy bitcoin rich person sells thousands of bitcoin all at once (which has happened before) the price will definitely continue to go up and we will see a great month.

Additionally, do you realize what it means to have 2 great months on the start of the year plus a halving on the way as well? That is literally the recipe for actually having one of the biggest all time high increases in bitcoin for a year to date level, we can literally move beyond 20k and reach to higher levels all thanks to actually starting off very well and moving from that position towards higher.

Calm down. Everything that's happening price wise is quite bullish indeed, but there is no point in exaggerating. It's going to be a real struggle to get near $14,000 again, and even if we get there, that alone could be reason for a lot of sellers to jump in and start dumping the price down.

What makes $14,000 so important isn't just that it is a level with psychological importance, but slightly below that level is where we have Bitcoin's highest ever monthly close. It's common sense that it will trigger huge selling volumes. I'll happily join the bullish moon boy narrative when we have a higher monthly close than that, but for now it's important to not think too far ahead.

Being realistic helps coping with disappointment of not seeing a huge bull run much easier. ;)

I am positive that it will continue to push until the end of this year as the market resistance keeps to increase also. This is the effect of Bitcoin halving and I would rather see more pumps than of dump. Maybe we can't see that it soars high instantly but the fact that halving is dragging into increasing market demand, it eventually makes it possible for another Bullrun. And people are anticipating by then that is why they are buying it now since the price is still at low.

Almost near to $10k level in just 2 days of February so I’m confident and positive that the up trend will continue this month. Keep watching bitcoin and make sure you have it on your wallet, the pump is getting here maybe its about time to witness the huge bull again. February and the 1st quarter of 2020 will be a game changer for us, hoping that there will be no more big dumps and more on a pump now.

Possibly yes, but I don't really think that within a month Bitcoin's price will rise with a remarkably value, it may reach to 10K I would guess and the opposite may happen too. Unfortunately, the unstablity in price is always occur. In my opinion, this is the appropriate time in order to HODL Bitcoin because simply, the halving is going to happen soon, hopefully in July. After that event, I am pretty sure that Bitcoin's price and even the other cryptourrencies  will pump significatly.

Expect 5 digits this month but it might really be slow.
Also, a possibility of going back to 8k. I think that it where it will play its price until before the end of February where it will hit the 10k mark.
What is the bottom? That might be the real question for now.

As the halving goes near we might see fluctuation in the 5 digit section and it will be more often.

Impossible to say with great certainity, most observations are based off near term with projections forward with decreasing accuracy.     Problems can begin when expectations are too great for the market to serve vs a contrasting stanard such as FIAT, if general markets retract we have hard money come into play, a general sell off for BTC is highly probable.   A normal sell off target is about 8000, if that helps you for the next month then great but I dont know we arent achieving a target of near 12k which was my general idea for halvening or possibly this year total as a high.
    If I'm asked to guess, I think we form a low that becomes support before later going to 12k not straight up and actually this is far more healthy.   Right this moment I'm observing higher lows, its bullish till broken or when two waves meet one continues (its not absolute).

some people in this topic are expecting slow rise to 5 digits (above $10k) but i believe that everything before $10k inside 4 digits will be slow and the rise above it will be a breakout with a very fast price rise as a lot of investors are going to fear missing out on the rise and jump back in.
if you search around in the market you will find a lot of them who are currently hoping and waiting for a big drop so they can buy, that means there is a large sum of money waiting to jump in hence the FOMO and the jump.

There is a rapid development in the price of bitcoin in the present, last I check it is a bit under $9000 dollar, but now its price is almost have before $10000, we could expect a $10k value for bitcoin sooner than what we have expected. I hope the price of bitcoin would continuously grow from now, slowly but, surely.

The rising trend of Bitcoin isn't really that fast but yet, it already been a satisfying event that we ever saw the market rallying back high again even though it will just move slowly. And it seems to be possible to see Bitcoin breaking the 2018 highest peak ($14k plus). The people are always hoping for this year for the market to fully recover not only for Bitcoin alone but also with the altcoins due to the fact that many investors are still holding this as well. 

At the same time, lots of whales also might be waiting to dump their recent buys so that they may come back to buy cheaper. I mean to say waiting for drop and waiting for peak are all happening in approximately same numbers and volume and other than these what happens on which side may influence the direction of a market. Nothing new and not a big rocket science.

before halving there are possibilities to test last years' peak price levels which means the current bull market may continue and may peak as higher as $14k levels before market finds a slight pull back. But, after halving get prepared to face another drop below $8k levels.

Price will start to rise up soon. Many analysts talk about this and I agree with that. If the price goes down, then quite a bit and only to rise even higher then.

according to the analysis technique that I read, I use EMA 100, and in a 3 hour time frame it looks like Bitcoin will experience a bit of a pullback, but we are still waiting for confirmation for that because TF 4 Hours, and TF 1 Day are still very potential to be achieved, don't always use 100% funds if you want to buy it, it's still very risky

Upon searching on the current status bitcoin until now it still remains at the price of 9200$ and I smell something which there is a tendency that bitcoin will stay on this price for a couple of weeks just like what on its past price which is around 7300$-7500$ (I'm not sure about it). We are in the first week of February and it's not clear to me what will be the next movement of bitcoin and despite on being stable on the market seems it will be best entry point if you going to invest. Besides IMO, the slowly rising of bitcoin get many attention of people and some of them already state their prediction on it's price and they even predict that bitcoin will now in the way of reaching 10,000$ which pretty good to us. 

Then lastly, keep on your mind that even bitcoin its quite stable right now, just keep holding it because you will see the worth of bitcoin after a couple of months or years.

In my view and experience, bitcoin will soon break the $ 9k3 resistance level and bounce to $ 10k this February. I don't expect to see a very rapid growth coming from bitcoin anymore, it will cause a sell-off wave later on the next day. This halving event seems to go very well as expected of people. I see that many investors are starting to hoard their capital and every day they are buying more bitcoins to hold until August. a growth as strong as April of last year.

Well, without looking at the experience, just by looking at the speed and chart of bitcoin, bitcoin is probably in a period of recovery and extremely powerful, even craving another record price when value has got off to a great start for the first month, it's still a long way off with special events, and it's no surprise that everything gives us an idea, the price of bitcoin will rise higher in the coming months. However, agree with you that this speed is too fast without sufficient resources to promote and maintain, it can be reduced in a moment.

If this month continues to test the resistance point constantly like it is right now, I do not see how it can't break over it and go over 10k, I am not saying it definitely will, I am just saying if it keeps going like this there is a big chance of that happening.

It means we have two options, either buyers will continue with the bull run and test higher levels which eventually sellers will decide not to go against and leave the market (remove the orders) which in return becomes easier for buyers to go up, or the second option which I seriously hope wont happen, would be buyers not having enough capital left to continue pushing higher and eventually sellers overcoming the buyers and price would start to go down slowly. I really hope the first option happens.

In this month 10K USD is very possible for bitcoin, even it can happen before February 10! As it already went to 9800 USD, so, we are only 200 USD left to enter in the long-awaited 10K USD zone! I hope we will see BTC at 15K USD before May!

Reaching those figures ain't never gonna be easy. Though we surely are heading to that numbers, but quick sellers will always cause a short pull back, thus making Bitcoin slow to reach the 5 digit figure.
Bitcoin is bound to hit those numbers, but I will be expecting to have a week long short pull backs when the price hits $10,000.

Until now, the price of bitcoin is still in the range of $ 9,000, but currently, the price is approaching $ 10,000. however, it is very possible that the price of bitcoin this year is approaching or even surpassing the price of $ 11,000, even more so if we look at developments that occurred in January. it seems like every month, the price of bitcoin will be at a higher level for this year.

It rises as we see but again from 10120 is 10070 and it might have some drops as many will start sell now that get over 10 k usd
