Crypto market in 2020 (https://coinpedia.org/information/cryptocurrency-price-prediction-2020/) is gonna bring a lot of exciting changes and innovations in the cryptocurrency industry. The market analysis reports a steady rise in the no. of cryptocurrency and blockchain-related startups. Also, the ICO’s, mining, dApps, etc. are about to increase.

The blockchain industry is on the rise and expected to bloom in 2020. Many established companies like Coca-Cola, VISA, Walmart are adopting Blockchain in their day-to-day activities. Based on these analyses, it is easy to say that Cryptocurrency is the future.

What's your take on this?

Personally, I believe that cryptocurrency in 2020 will be in demand on the market. Accordingly, cryptocurrency will be used in many projects and thereby increase in price. And according to analyst forecasts, 2020 will be the most productive year in the crypto industry. And also large companies with great success will implement blockchain in their new technologies. And this will be a big push for big business in the crypto industry.

Well I do hope that this blockchain related projects will do something about the every day sectors the ordinary people deal (governments/medicines/pharma) whether private or public.

But as far as ICO, I don't know man, the only bright things for this year is the bitcoin block halving event. So this makes this year very exciting in terms of how our investments are going to grow, just saying.

In fact, the further development of cryptocurrency and the adoption that has been going on since last years, will cause to encounter a more positive market every next year. The 2020 year will accelerate the development with the power that halving adds to it. And I hope that we can easily see this acceleration both in price and adoption.

As we move forward, adaption will be everywhere and I agree that blockchain is the future! the game, because it would make our lives easier and with just a simple step everything can be done. And what I really like is that traditional banks will be over and will not be playing with our money.

Traditional banking system won't be phased out because not everyone will adopt the technology and government will always need banks and fiat currency. Why can't we just both agree that cryptocurrency, fiat, and traditional banking system will all co-exist. Btc wasn't created to replace any of these it was created to completely have a financial freedom.

It has been seen even few years ago. We're in the adoption phase ever since and these huge companies will go with the acceptance of crypto because the community and people who are using it is increasing too. I don't know if the former companies who used to accept bitcoin as payment and latter removed it will also turn back to start adopting and adding it again as their payment option. As long as there are users and there are merchants who are willing to accept it, they'll be accepted and it's just a matter of time.

Well, blockchain is the future of the global financial and economic system. many blockchain adoption in large companies. I am very optimistic about blockchain technology. but I'm not sure that many crypto will last long. the only crypto that has a future is bitcoin. for altcoin, it will still disappear and change to a new one. because altcoin is like an item.

I did not see ICO involved at the beginning of this year. at least the OP provides facts and evidence that large companies like coca cola are interested in blockchain technology. I am sad because Libra failed to launch this year. this is a setback for me.

It is pretty hard to predict what Crypto will do this year, but if I had to guess we will see a rise again compared to the lasts years.
Im not sure if we are going to have a all time high this year already, it could be but I think it will be next year.
It will be exciting to see what will happen this year and Im looking forward to it.

I expect with the upcoming bull run hype in every crypto sphere. It will start with Bitcoin, after it reach 20 000USD, altcoins will folow Bitcoin's growth because investors will be more greedy and will look for bigger profit.

ICOs about to increase? Oh god no,,, we have had enough of them please. Dapps and mining going to increase I agree and that is only an indication of how active the community always is despite of the price.

Crypto is part of the future, but the future will be a lot of things like AI and data and IoT. Not just crypto:)

We believe the positive implementation of the ico rules to minimize the scammers and spammers in the system. And make a new guidelines to know ICO or IEO is legit less waste of time. There are too many projects that are scam.
Good news Dapps and mining is going to increase but remember in the past what happened so let be vigilant to ourself to those ICO modus

More and more companies will use blockchain technology and start to work with own tokens. And regarding the altcoin market I would say that at least 20% of the current token will die. And we possibly see a new altcoin-season in 2020.

Have they adopted blockchain? i think they have not yet adopted it as that's still just a plan. From what i know about that if VISA is not yet thinking to use blockchain as its own scalability is still capable to compete with the blockchain. There are some things that need to be corrected. We have so many innovations in crypto and i agree about that but what makes me sceptical with the fact if crypto is not yet owned a real utility coin other than bitcoin.

We have mining platform, Dapps, especially for the new icos that always coming every day but what we have lost to see a platform that puts its token at the top of their priority to give utility usage.
Blockchain technology is not the only thing that gains the trend but the stable coin too as there will be a lot of digital currency issued by the regulators.

When all of the development progress related to the crypto will go without a lot of problems and i do agree with that article but some point must be corrected just like not all hard forks will be giving a huge impact to the price and that depends on the trend. That article is also not mentioning if there is no altcoin with real utility usage too and there is not ETA about when libra will arrive.

Whenever I hear financial freedom, I can't help to think about Financial Gurus and their road to financial freedom. BTC is not even made to be an instrument for financial freedom, it just became one. It is initially created to remove third parties in a financial transaction/payment in a trust-based model. Because of speculative aspects in the price of bitcoin, it became a good investment and now a tool for financial freedom.


This will only happen if governments will stop using fiats. And as far as I know, that is never gonna happen. Traditional banks will still remain. The good news is that we have options now. Cryptocurrency may be the future but it is not meant to replace banks but to co-exist.

Of course, blockchain is becoming a global trend. Its versatility and safety is evident to many large companies. That is why they to some extent transfer their work processes to the blockchain. And that is a good sign.
It is not necessary that this will lead to an increase in cryptocurrency prices in 2020 or in 2021. However, the fact that such large companies are switching to blockchain suggests that there will be a significantly larger infrastructure for the blockchain in the future. This means that more people will be able to use cryptocurrency and this will inevitably lead to another wave of popularity of cryptocurrency and blockchain.

I doubt ICO will increase in 2020 but instead all the projects that have raised the fund in the past will be releasing their finished product and that could probably lead to adoption of blockchain or cryptocurrency. Speaking of the truth there's not enough flow of capital to increase the amount of ICO, at best there'll be really few ICO that succeed but the rest will just fail.

I think that all of the above would be a great result for the entire crypto community. We have already waited a long time for the next stage in the development of the crypto market and blockchain technology. Of course I really want 2020 to be the initiator of new successes in the crypto sector and we saw the influx of new investments and the growth of cryptocurrencies.

I don't like forecasts because they can be very misleading, i hope you guys won't build portfolio based on forecasts, past forecasts from online websites are most wrong, be wise and invest mostly on bitcoin before altcoins

 Yea 2020 has been forecasted to be a great year for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency as a whole. On daily basis we see a lot of adoption and acceptance of these technologies. No doubt, 2020 will be the a great year.

the adoption of crypto will continue and there will be more companies out there who are interested and take part in it too, I believe that Bitcoin is one of the digital currencies for the future. and it seems that at the beginning of this year the crypto market began to improve as BTC prices could rise to $ 90k at that time.

After the longest bear market in the crypto history change in the trend should come, we didn't have better news, technology adoption any time before so I do not see a reason why bull market shouldn't come.

The adoption of blockchain keeps getting widespread traction in all sectors, no country wants to be left out too. However, cryptocurrency on the other hand is gaining more popularity but the rate of adoption is very slow. I believe more regulations will roll out this year and this will fast track crypto adoption. This year is going to be great for crypto enthusiasts from all indications, Bitcoin halving is a major factor amongst others.

Based on the current happenings around the world of Blockchain, one could easily spot that; there will be probably a good time for cryptocurrency to thrive among others. Although, these Blockchains projects are basically projects from the government. Hope these projects have great impact on cryptocurrencies at large.

2020 will be a good year for cryptocurrencies base on this year event that's coming up May, 2020 (bitcoin block halve). Base on history, the year will be a glorify year to recall with.

For me, 2020 is going to lay the foundation for the coming bull run, we are going to see some price action in an upward movement, but not the bull run of BTC hitting $50k and above, until the miners start feeling the cut in the block reward, for me the halving is almost priced into the current price already

I could see 2020 turning out very well for the crypto markets as a whole, though on the Bitcoin side of things I think we're going to see a bullish trend redevelop as the bearish momentum that we've been seeing for the past few months has largely slowed down, though it is indeed way too early to say for sure how things will go. I do find it very interesting that McAfee's $1 Million dollar comment is still relevant here, because it seems more impossible than ever to achieve, but I don't completely doubt it yet. The halving likely won't have any immediate affects on Bitcoin's price similarly to what's happened around and near the time of previous halvings, but I do think it's a good sign of things to come.

Yeah seems like much awaited adoption is finally coming and it has started from big corporations and slowly it will spread across the board from smaller corporations to propritership level of businesses as well, regarding this year im hopeful that it will yield great profits to hodlers and investors and also this year will be able to turn the losses of last peak survivors into profits soon.

Maybe this is a discussion that we often hear about the future of crypto. And this way of thinking will change when the opposite direction occurs, or the price of crypto deteriorates. But I am confident in the future of crypto, even though today people don't believe it 100%.

Adoption of cryptocurrencies is slowly happening. Venezuela is a good example of that, considering how many people who uses DASH in their day to day life :)

Personally I believe decentralized solutions will be the next catalyst, as it seems like it's what people really care about these days.

There is absolutely no reason why this project shouldn't be at Coinmarketcap page 1 already, and recently it jumped about 100 ranks, so hopefully we'll see it there very soon!

ICO boomed like 2 years ago. Investors are getting wary into buying tokens that ends up a failure or worse being a scam.
The competition is already broad. I think what we really need is to focus on those who have passed the ICO and support them to grow more and bring new features to the crypto industry.
Not by creating another and just end up to be the same as what is happening now.

The year 2020 has so much events which has a huge possibility for impacting on the coin market cap. The bitcoin halving event has been known to be effective at causing a significant increase in the value of Bitcoin and this would likely lead to a multiplier effect on other altcoin. With the ethereum 2.0 project, there's also a better chance for an increase in the value of ethereum.

Predictions again like a fortune-teller it's too many of them in this forum, so it's not new every year many insights and speculation was shared but most of them were failed but let's give them a benefit of a doubt lets see that I believe 2020 is a potential year for the cryptocurrency industry but let's separate blockchain because cryptocurrency is not blockchain if those multinational companies were using blockchain technology then it's their purpose and it will not benefit the crypto industry.

In 2020, there is an important thing. Bitcoin is halved. In the past, Bitcoin was halved. The price will be greatly increased. I do n’t know how the price will change this year. Compared to Bitcoin price, I am more concerned about blockchain applications. Hope that a phenomenal application will be born that will allow more people to join the blockchain and bitcoin...

What really excites me most is that there is a lot of development going on in 2020. People were only happy to just have crypto in 2017, people were scared to have crypto in 2018, and people really focused on trying to recover from losses in 2019.

Now that we are in 2020 and the plans are basically improving any crypto at any costs, if coins stay the same and don't have any type of improvement at all, they will be left behind with all the improved brand new versions of other coins, so everyone who has coins or basically runs it knows that they have to improve, that is what will happen in 2020. With the hard fork of eth, halving of btc, burn of bnb, and many other stuff, we are going to get a very volatile but also better crypto currency world in our hands.

Same as your I'm very optimistic and we have a lot of reasons why, everything are unfolding the halving, China and Japan planning to launch their own coin and of course Facebook's libra coin after two years the year that we are waiting for are now here and I'm excited to see another all time high.

The industry has created a hard border between Bitcoin and Blockchain. Almost everyone have realized that Blockchain is the way to go in the future, but they are not very excited about Bitcoin. The industry giants want to adopt Blockchain, but at the same time they want to destroy Bitcoin. They want to end the association of Blockchain with Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is something that is capable of completely altering the current status quo. It can make many of the current industries obsolete and replace them with new ones.

I like that every year we go through different stages of cryptocurrency growth. In the past there was a year of fraud, when almost everything was confined, projects were simply created to deceive. Before that, there was an acquaintance with what has long been known in narrow circles. And this year of growing up. I wonder how prices will behave, but the cryptocurrency no longer has a chance of falling off the radar.
