If you could invest your cryptocurrencies in the environment would you?

Between the question of electricity consumption, the pollution produced by mining and many other things.
What if that would ultimately turn to the benefits of cryptocurrencies?

Several comments, Many environmental investment sectors exist, but we would like to know your opinions about this

Yeah I'd say its pretty sensitive to a lot.

Why should we invest in the environment, we don't own the world and need to get away from that?
The people destroying the environment (the energy companies) ought to be the ones to try to "fix" the environment.

There's a weird acceptance nowadays that humans are weak and we have to keep everything stable, actually controlling climate levels is potentially medalling more than we should. If we caused the rise in greenhouse gas emissions, then it'll take a while to get restabalise the levels and a huge reduction could destabilise something else in turn.

There's also oftentimes a huge disconnect between people saying they want to fix the planet and those that actually do. Extinction rebellion decided to do a protest and spray water from a fire truck (or something). The ones complaining about the environment are the ones that won't get of their arse and walk to the next city when they can drive there in 15 minutes...

There's a search engine called Ecosia which utilizes the profits it generates from advertisement revenue to plant trees.

https://www.ecosia.org/

It might be possible for a cryptocurrency analogue to emulate that business model and help the environment.

People tend to forget, emissions are not the central issue in climate change. Deforestation has depleted the planet's capacity to absorb and sequester carbon emissions. Afforestation. Fighting desertification. Simply planting trees are legit methods of addressing issues relating to drought, increased oceanic acidity & other concerns.

With ice along the poles melting. I would 100% support pumping the excesss water into the middle east in an effort to transform the desert regions into tropical forest. That would go a long way towards absorbing carbon emissions and greenhouse gases and perhaps stabilizing things.

An example of desert in the middle east being cultivated into a forest:

If cryptocurrencies are invested within the environment it'll be better for the environment Now the balance of the environment is nearly destroyed by natural disasters like floods droughts, and extinction. Destroying forests, greenhouse emission emissions are turning the planet into a desert so investing in crypto can keep the environment balanced.

Yes because at some point we will have to face the fact that the environment is changing and some kind of action has to be taken for the sake of our health and our children.

Without a healthy environment we wouldn't be able to make the most out of the cryptocurrencies we have right now. Imagine a Fallout-like scenario where they use bottle caps as modes of payment. That could be our inevitable fate come the day that our planet give up on us. Everything we have invested for will be for naught and the worst is it's our children and grandchildren who will suffer from an unbearable environment. So I don't mind throwing in a few of my cryptos to fund movements that promote the environment's welfare.

Well, cryptocurrency in environment project? Not a bad idea. I guess the best option as the project for me is to produce planting trees all over the world. This might help the earth recover. Honestly, I don't really care if people would use cryptocurrency or fiat. It is the project's vision that makes sense, it is the important thing though. The point here is to help the planet to survive, --the finance will always be there. But the resources we have on this planet are getting thinner.

Indeed, I am being aware and conscious of that if the global society could just focus their energy on these kinds of projects. I guess we can do it all

invest your cryptocurrencies in the environment

This is a new one...
Unless you plan on planting walnut trees or some other kind of fruit in a deserted area and selling those for-profits I wouldn't call it an investment.
If you care that much about the environment you can always donate, which is a bit different from investing and whenever I hear that something is environment-friendly and it generates money I'm getting my scam label ready

But, ultimately, cryptos are money, so there is nothing out of the ordinary cryptos can do for the environment that other digital currency can't.

With ice along the poles melting. I would 100% support pumping the excesss water into the middle east in an effort to transform the desert regions into tropical forest.

With the poles melting the ice goes into the ocean, the excess water that raises in between the tropics would be salted, it needs desalinization so it doesn't kill plants, rather than trying that in the middle east it would be easier done in the grasslands that stretch from Asia to Europe and in the middle of the US.

But I doubt we're going to see such an effort from any country even in this entire decade, and maybe when they will it will be too late to matter.

I guess you mean investing cryptocoins in environmental projects that help create healthy environment. Or do you intend to use the heat from mining on farms(agric)?
If you have something compelling & viable, I guess the crypto or mining community will have to verify first before supporting.. . Besides such environmental organizations have to be very reputable

I really like your different opinions on the matter.
And I generally agree with the points you have raised.
While this question is only aimed at cryptocurrency owners, the rest of the world is equally concerned.
Different programs are now in place to help the planet (New planting, reduction in greenhouse gases, pollution, etc.), all to say that everyone has their share of responsibility for the future of our planet.

If today the community could concentrate on the creation of a project of this type linked to the technology which seems appropriate to it and provided that the project works.

Maybe the world will see crypto differently.

The environment is where we are, so no one will seek to destroy it because it indirectly destroys his life.
Many people who abuse the environment are people who know the devastating impact of many of the actions they do, so it is easy to change their behavior.
Many major companies and factories are the cause of the world's pollution. Unfortunately, these people are protected by law rather than by the law to protect the environment.

Perhaps things will change in the future and find some legislation, but I will attend my investments in the environment and I may fight to stop "electricity consumption, the pollution produced by mining" suspension, if it was the last thing pollutes the environment.

I remember reading somewhere that crypto currency mining does harm the environment in various way through "emissions" of byproducts. The more mining equipment there are, the more it harms the environment. Even though, it does harm the environment, if the benefits of investing on the "environment" weighs more than the harm it does to the environment, then yeah, the answer is simply yes. By the way, what kind of investment are you talking about?

Do you have an example of this environment investment that you have in your mind? Many would love to help in different ways to maintain the beauty of our environment although the reality will hit us that day by day it's getting more damage from us. And specially that we're in the crypto community, it's way easier to transfer money to the desired recipient that we want.

But isn't that crypto investment for environment should be more of a help or donation rather than an investment? Beside from the example given by Hydrogen, can op or anyone cite an example how would this scheme would work for interested people? Because I've seen some scams before that used the environment as their main proponent for their project.

Investment in green companies are the future regardless of whether you invest in the markets with crypto or fiat. If liberal administrations get elected in places like the US, they will begin to hand out free loans like candy similar to the Obama administration investing in companies like Solyndra (which went defunct) and Tesla (the only U.S. car company to not go bankrupt). His administration handed out billions worth of government dollars to these companies pushing for new developments in the energy sector and serves as benefits to investors. Exxon Mobile and major fossil fuel companies already started adopting green technologies because they know they're not going to last long with government regulation of fossil fuels are coming whether they lobby against it or not. This is after in 2015 the CEO of Exxon Mobile mocked the idea (https://www.politico.com/story/2015/05/exxonmobil-ceo-downplays-climate-change-mock-renewable-energy-118330) the idea of green energy. If these multibillion dollar industries are shifting focus, you should do so as an investor too.

I also read about ecosia before but haven't tried it, I was Using Gcash Forest it's aim is to earned enough energy points, and can choose a native tree to adopt on your own, or with other GForest users. This company will provide seedings and so tree planting in that area chosen once you reached points requirement in their app, simply by clicking their app. Hopefully there will be a something like in crypto that can help the environment.

This is actually a good idea though this is not really new. I already encountered some projects before dealing with environment and cryptocurrency but sadly they all failed to get the attention of the market, and they just died naturally. Maybe we need a new one, maybe even just focusing on planting fruit-bearing trees will do, we can have more trees to absorb pollution and produce more oxygen, and then we can also have income at the same time. There are many practical ways we can be helping the environment and at the same time make money with the use of cryptocurrency. I am hoping that a good, reputable organization can be carrying a viable project along this line so that we can all participate and be helping the environment in many small ways.

First of all one needs to be clear in defining the term investment. In my view investing is using or giving of time, talent, emotional energy, etc., as for a purpose or to achieve something. This way cryptocurrencies into environment is possible with the quote of an user above. He has mentioned unless something good is planted in a deserted region and revenue is taken away it can't be termed as an investment.

As of now this is happening around in small scale and it when something is really beneficial people will go for it. When it provides profit as well as keeps the environment clean surely I'll invest my cryptocurrencies.

Well probably not everything. But it would be nice to be investing in something that for me, would not only seem right for myself, but for a bigger purpose. I'm pretty sure an roi for this wouldn't be as much as it's worth, but if i have the means to invest my coins in an environmental project, i probably wouldn't have second thoughts.

There's no pollution produced by mining crypto! What are you talking about? Maybe you're talking about coal and oil mining?
What pollution does a bitcoin miner produce? I'd say the same kingd as your PC and TV.

Sure I'd invest in a company that would improve the environment but it would have to show real results not catchy slogans like Greta. ;)

Yeah I'd say its pretty sensitive to a lot.
Why should we invest in the environment, we don't own the world and need to get away from that?
The people destroying the environment (the energy companies) ought to be the ones to try to "fix" the environment.
Here goes the argument of environmental sustainability again. Skipping over all the arguments, I don't think it's bad to understand what sort of carbon footprint you are leaving on the world. The second we where given life, we where given certain responsibilities and protecting the Earth can be argued as one of them (we aren't on Mars yet, might as well not ruin Earth yet). Nothing anyone can do will make sure that energy companies will go renewable, some of them have started making small shifts towards it, but unless something drastic happens (I am thinking either political or environmentally), they aren't going to give up a free source of income.

There are certain services in plan that already allow you to use your crypto-currency for a better cause, however, I think even though things like planting trees is great for the environment, the most effective thing we can do reduce how much fossil fuels are burned by miners, and either go green - or go to another coin that doesn't require using so much power to mine (in the distant future although).

I agree with you. Now mankind is on the verge of a number of global problems that can be provoked by the fact that mankind has made some adjustments to the environment through its impact on it,
making a number of natural ecosystems fragile and unstable. What has been destroyed for many years now must be restored by any means.

In pursuit of consumption, we brought ourselves to an environmental crisis that could unleash on the planet in full in the coming decades.
And this despite the fact that the poles are changing their position means much faster than predicted 50 years ago.

In other words, if we do not prepare the planet for our children, then they will have nothing to invest in their cryptocurrency.

Yes, this is one step into ensuring a bright future for our children. Mining cryptocurrencies consume a lot of energy and if we don't switch to renewable energy soon enough. We are ensuing doom not only to ourselves, but to everyone. I've seen some projects like this in the past few weeks like the smart bottle which pays people to clean earth of plastic waste everytime you drink. Hopefully more projects like this come around

I guess if I could I would but its not profitable and that is why many people are in cryptocurrency world and not in environment world.

We are trying to use our money to make more money, how can I invest my money into environment and then get out more money out of it? Sure it is a noble thing to try to save the world and use your money for the good etc etc but we are not that type of people, maybe some hero would do what we are not capable of doing and donate some money but this place is not for charity in general, its for making profits.

Oh, if you are asking if we would like to make money AND help the environment at the same time then of course we would, why would we pick both destroying the world and make money when the option of saving the world and making money exists.

Yes, I would help to keep the environment cleaner and less polluted.
But why are you so specific about ‘pollution caused by mining’? Mining does not cause pollution. It is the sources that are used to generate electricity used for mining that causes pollution. Those same sources that produce electricity for various systems.
Anyways, there is a need to support the movement of curbing climate crises. So, if I could invest my cryptocurrency in saving the environment from disasters, I would, in my own little way.

Of course, when i say "pollution caused by mining" i talking about electricity used for mining.
I don't have an exact figure for this year (although it's late January)
According to a tool posted online (I can't confirm what), Bitcoin mining would consume the equivalent of the electrical production of nearly 8 nuclear power plants.
Bitcoin mining: 22 megatons of CO2 per year (Estimation July, 2019)

The creation of Bitcoin has an energy impact as important as Switzerland. In question, the manufacture of money, very greedy in electricity and indirectly generating pollution.

But I agree with you, if we could improve this or slow down the pollution effects that it causes I will be ready.

That aside you know there are cryptocurrencies emerging which are making the cryptos environment friendly.

Also yes I agree mining is not sustainable but maybe we can work towards it and implement the green energy technology with it , the energy needed for the mining can be generated with the help of green energy sources , they do take a huge investment in setting up but it would cost zero afterwards .

Some places have plenty of sunlight , some have plenty of wind and I do believe that if we take into account what our place ,where we are residing right now have the pros in terms of the renewable sources and educate people about it and use it whenever we can collaborating with the bitcoins could actually save the emissions from one side.

You know how they say * every drop counts *

That's actually a whole lot of pollution cause by just bitcoin miners. There also are a lot of other gadgets which might consume electricity more than a normal bitcoin miner and could we even imagine how much pollution it might be causing. But, yes there are alternatives for each cause in the current generation. Even renewable sources of energy might help us save this pollution as they do not leave any residues behind them once consumed.

There should be some cryptocurrency projects which should mainly concentrate onto the pollution caused and they should actively find ways to reduce the pollution and make earth a better place again. If several such project exists than I am sure none of the government might not want to legalize cryptocurrencies.

If there would be any higher benefits by investing in the environment around us than for sure much of the people would invest in the same. But in case if we have no profits by investing in the environment around us than there would be minimum people who would invest some shares of their profits into such cause just to support to environment from getting from bad to worst.

There are a lot of NGO's which actively invest into some of these causes like you mentioned maybe about the pollution caused or tree plantations or anything like this which helps in the betterment of the environment but in case of cryptocurrencies, people need profits which would be the main motto behind them to join with the cryptocurrency markets. But yet, I would personally invest into something similar to this.

Not all people would invest on such program to help the environment, ofcourse there would be people who would take advantage of the scenario, and would invest to earn profit if it is a project involving cryptos, perhaps a fundraising program. But OP did not clear things out on what kind of investment would help the environment whether it is a real estate project or digital. So it definitely depends and people nowadays are clever enough if that program that they would invest their cryptos with, would really help the environment.

indeed if there is no electricity then cryptocurrency will not survive because all of them need electricity but you should know that electricity can be obtained from sunlight, water and air so I think maybe cryptocurrency investment is still good but you should invest in coins that have limited supply like bitcoin so you can keep it long-term until the supply reaches the maximum limit and the price can be expensive.

Well you don't really need to give your cryptocurrency to someone you don't know or even if they're environmentalist, you can have your own work of habing something good for the environment like what you guys have said solar panel or you can also invest in hydroelectric power so that you can have something good for the environment and at the same time you have some good investments.

The concept of mining causing pollution is overrated. Mining doesn't contribute to environment pollution directly. Thousands of offices run millions of computers daily for office work. CO2 emission and electric consumption of mining when compare to that is very low.

On the brighter side, cryptocurrencies create value. Value creation by cryptocurrencies is exponential. They not only create valuable coins but also solving social problems through innovation. I think environment cost of creating cryptocurrencies is sustainable for now.

We can invest into a project or something that would help the environment not really invest into it but I guess that is what you're really saying. The consumption of energy by the miners are said to so massive that is why a lot of them are choosing alternative sources. If we could help the environment just by investing bitcoin, there will be a lot of us here already investing.

Investment? Well, it all depends on what the investment is really about, as long as it’s a good one and for a good purpose I will invest in it. I am not the type of person that jumps on any project I see, I always take my time to go through it, ask of other’s opinion and know whether it would really be worth it. If yes, then there is no need to be wasting time about it.

Bitcoin mining can have some negative effects on our environment. I once read a journalist's article on The Guardian, and he claimed that the effects ofBitcoin in our environment is similar to oil and has the possibility of being even bigger than oil, and it’s probably going to haunt it, and everyone that’s into it will be seen as the enemies of environmental movement. I don’t know about this for sure, there are few journalists that have said the claims are not really as serious as others says it is.

I would use renewable energy if it was affordable for me and competitive with what I currently have - like an electric car, solar panels, etc. But I would never donate my money to environmentalists, especially to some strangers on the internet, especially if they run an ICO or otherwise involved with blockchain, tokens and other scams.
Yes,people in this world are too greedy and they are hiding under good things to make money only so donating or helping such projects is like simply throwing away your money to someone who wanted to earn them without doing any work.

If investing in our environment will have a huge impact into it, I will probably going to invest my cryptocurrency. It is gonna be a privelage to help our environment using the money that I have. Instead of letting your money to stay with you, why not donate it for those people who need it and teach them how they are going to earn that kind of money.

right, fraudsters are usually good at looking for themes that are trending at the time, so they don't feel awkward using them to find personal gain. we must learn to be good investors, so we are not fooled by their actions. therefore research on a project is clearly needed

Between the question of electricity consumption, the pollution produced by mining and many other things.
What if that would ultimately turn to the benefits of cryptocurrencies?
There is no way that things would turn into something beneficial. What could we do with pollution and high electricity consumption? nothing but to deal with it, we just need to find alternatives in utilizing them. Let us be practical here, as mining become more expensive we are just like doing it in the name of pride of cryptocurrencies and we get less and lesser every time.

Bitcoin will going to haunt these oil companies as oil is non-renewable and most of companies today are preferring digital assets than oil. Dollar for example, we have seen dollar degrading its universal value making Yuan stronger than it. But the problem with crypto is the mining process wherein lots of E-waste are produced due to energy consumption. Negative things with crypto now are not yet that felt but I'm pretty sure we will be able to feel that in span of 3 to 5 years.

We all know that bitcoin is the most potent coin today, and it is better if we grab the opportunity to invest in this coin because there are a lot of people get rich because of this coin but still be aware of being volatile of this coin. There are a lot of processes to earn profit like we have trading that you will predict the market price of the bitcoin and the other currency, next is the gambling that you can make some wage to the different games like poker, dice, roulette and many more. Lastly is the use of investment if you want to play safe and avoid losing your money. We all know that while improving technology, it will affect our environment like today. There are a lot of trees cut because of the infrastructure we want to make, and by these, it lessens the oxygen we have now. If there is any chance, we can contribute to nature too by donating our bitcoin or another coin to buy or to plant a lot of trees, so while we are earning at the same time, we are saving the world.

Of course I could, but the question arises of what exactly? Solar power generation? But to whom then can I sell it with an excess of it from me? We have a state monopoly on electricity in our country. And I need to look for places for panels somewhere so that they are safe for others. Wind energy is much more demanding and need more money to start it.

Yes, it is kind of sensitive.

Cryptocurrency in which we are making dome digitial coins or digital currency that may helps us to use it into the new technology of the world, bitcoin mining produce a very high electricity consumption that is producing also a high heat in the environment and it is very hard because as we all know that it is kind of pollution that the environment is suffering so if I would really given a chance that I would invest my cryptocurrency to the environment then I will do it because just like what we learned in the school, we should need to protect the environment so that the next generation will be able to see the environment that we have right now, be an environmentalist in which in some very simple way we can help to lessen the pollution that is brought by Cryptocurrency on our environment.

The topic of ecology at the moment is one of the most discussed topics in general. It's no secret that in the waters of the ocean there is a garbage island the size of France. there are also a huge number of other environmental problems (and, as a result, with the climate). If we combine our efforts and use cryptocurrency for the good, then we can change the situation with the environment. It will also be a great cryptocurrency ad.

Even if we invest it, in this environmental organizations. Corporations would still be destroying the ecosystem with their industrial mining machines. I think, we should look for more viable investment for our cryptocurrencies to actually mean something.
Like what Elon Musk is doing, creating electric cars to stop pollution, research and development for renewal energy unlike corporations who mines our resources until the last drop.

I agree with you, if you can find an idea like this in the sea it would be great Now that many people are trading in the sea investing cryptocurrencies in the environment will support it all. The crypto helps us to get out of the environment where the environment often suffers By investing in crypto the environment will be restored to its natural balance. Now almost every country is suffering from climate change and natural disasters.

The percentage of water on our planet is 71%, it will be the most violated one.

Though we can find ways to minimize this, people will still continue to violate our planet. It will never stop since a lot of people are doing it and powerful people are earning from it. The body of water is bigger but there are a lot of things happening to lands too. Lands being mined, trees in mountains are being cut, a lot of things are happening. It would be great to have a project to help our environment to minimize these kinds of problem.

Spending energy for the mining has always been a discussion amongts people who are energy efficient and afraid that we are losing the battle against climate change.

However, I feel like people are forgetting the fact that 100 companies are responsible for the 70% of the worlds pollution right now, look at China, they literally do not care if they are ending the world right now if it means they would be the king of corpses. That kinda means the amount of energy spent by the miners are not really the big trouble as they are not making their own energy but they are also not forcing you to not do renewable neither, if someone was using solar panels and created electricity for the miners and offered them same rates or lower rates, surely miners would have agreed but nobody is doing that and that is not miners fault.

I completely agree with you regarding the issue that cryptocurrency mining does not harm the environment, since we are talking about electricity and everyone has a chance to use alternative energy sources.  As for the relatively Chinese state, I’m sure that they really did a great harm to the environment, and the evidence of their activity is the huge economic growth in recent years, even though there have already been several economic crises around the world, and in China they have recorded growth.  But in life it always happens that for any results you have to pay accordingly.  Perhaps the current situation with the virus screen will be one of those moments when China will be responsible for the consequences of its activities. And regarding the investment of cryptocurrency into the environment, I want to say the following: my activity in the cryptocurrency market brings quite important income for my family, from which I allocate funds to make my home efficient and non-volatile, which consumes alternative energy and is heated without harming  environment.  Of course, this may be a completely different answer to the questions posed in this topic, but if each person pays enough attention to this question like me, we can save at least what is left on the planet.

We can make use of solar energy as that would make it less risky and more profitable, although I have also seen those that claimed the idea of using solar energy is not pretty good. The truth is that everyone will never come to agreement in things like this.

Electricity should not actually be a problem here. There are a number of ways to generate electricity which might be from some of the nuclear power stations, windmills, hydro power plant, etc so we could always generate electricity until these resources are available. Miners consume a huge energy but the profits too are decent which allows the miner to pay the heavy electricity bills. But, miners do not consume even 30% of the total energy which is been consumed by the factories globally.

So, do we need to shut down the factories in order to save electricity? Of course no, as those factories are the medium for the country to get developed and the same might be considered regarding the miners. Bitcoin mining has least connections with the global warming.

For me, helping first myself to grow, support my family and friends are the things that is more important to me because, if you have helped yourself to be more financially stable and your friends or family, you wouldn't be a burden to the government and that would be a good way to help for the environment.

In our little ways, we could somehow help our environment. And after we became established, I think that is when the right time to contribute to the society and aid the environment.

In my opinion it is absurd thing that mining will affect environment then if it do then every electric equipment is responsible for it. Don't take these environment friendly protesters seriously as they usually travel in luxuary car and waste environment resources then they attend some event and start fake narative of environment destruction. It is true that global warming is increasing but that doesn't mean that if we stop some electronic appliances then it will slow down. Government has to take some big step towards it to solve the problem.

There's no pollution produced by mining crypto! What are you talking about? Maybe you're talking about coal and oil mining?
What pollution does a bitcoin miner produce? I'd say the same kingd as your PC and TV.

Sure I'd invest in a company that would improve the environment but it would have to show real results not catchy slogans like Greta. ;)
the environmental improvement program is indeed an environmental improvement program that is currently getting attention throughout the world, so it is not surprising that there will be many people interested in the theme of this program. so for the project's success I don't think it's something that is difficult

People will really become interested in joining this kind of program related to conserve, maintain, and develop our environment with the use of cryptocurrency. As the number of people who engaged in the cryptocurrency increased, the larger the population we can build just to minimize the destruction of our environment. We can make some advocacy about promoting our environment with the use of cryptocurrency. Environment is really an essential thing that gives us our needs in everyday lives, so it's time to give back to its kindness. It is easy to pollute the surroundings, but it is never easy to correct the mistakes. We're the one who will suffer in the end if we don't start right now.

Bitcoin halving process which is about to take place would minimize the profits for the miners and in this case setting up a solar farm would hardly give us any profits. Mining is really something which consumes a lot of energy. No doubt that the miners get profits from setting their hardware onto the mining pools but the energy they consume is not freely available in the environment, it is created and hence it can even extinct.

The use of electricity has been multiplied in the recent few years and if the same is the situation than the time is not far when each of the natural resources would be extinct and it would even be difficult to generate some electricity. Perhaps this is what makes OP fear for the future.

Investing your funds for the sake of environment is great because you know that in some ways is you did your part as a human. The possible problem is people can find it as an opportunity to exploit your funds and assets that's why it requires some research to ensure that it will be use on its specific purpose. You can't just invest without even knowing particular goal, it's your responsibility as an investor to assure that your investment will be worth it and beneficial. If ever, i'm willing to invest because why not? its our obligation to help our environment. Just do your own exploration to determine which environmental project is legit so you will not end up regretting your own decisions because of scams.

Crypto mining does not sound production, it would be different things for big mining farm, Where sound/noise and others environmental issues involved i think. The difference between a regular investor in the stock market or a forex market to an investor in the crypto market is the fact that this bitcoin world came from a position where people were dissatisfied with the way our world was ruled over by the pompous and presumptuous politicians who are sought to get themselves more money and power instead of doing what they are elected for which is helping the constituents that elected them there.

So, the investors in the crypto world would be more inclined to help the environment than an investor into stock market, however not by a large margin I assume, that assumption is wrong on my behalf since it is not dictated by facts nor data but at the same time nobody would wish to "invest" into a losing situation, rather "donate" to it if my presumption is correct.

There is a risk in investing within the crypto world  but if it's applied to the control of the environment  the environment will regain its balance because the stock exchange gains  there's a collapse. If we will invest our cryptocurrencies within the environment without the stock  exchange then it's great that it'll reduce the environmental damage to some extent  People are going to be aware that wildlife are often protected.
