Title: 2020 Crypto Collectibles? Coins? Bars? Notes?
Post by: tread93 on February 06, 2020, 04:34:07 PM
Hey Guys, I've been looking for some new crypto collectibles recently. Is any one saavy enough to tell me what's what on here? What crypto collectibles are the most desirable to a "newbie" and which ones are the most likely to be good long-term investments? Please post links of the most recent crypto gear that is available to buyers anywhere online in 2020. Also interested in learning more about exclusive offers that many wouldn't ever really even know about until it was too late. If you have some info on that, and don't want to post it in this thread please feel free to DM me. Thanks!!

I don't know if you are looking for items that were released in 2020 (won't be too many), but ColdKey has released their January History Coldkey (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193561.0).
If you are just looking for collectibles to buy, this section has a lot of people offering their items for sale. I can also recommend PhysiBit (http://physibit.com/) by Minerjones.

I, personally, run Coins of Nakamoto (https://www.coinsofnakamoto.com/) where I sell a few items I've collected in the past. A few examples of items that I have in store:

Thanks!! I've been on the forum for a while, but haven't got much clout yet. I guess i'll need to post more! I'm more so interested in new things coming out this year, its really what i'm looking for, but i'm also interested in other historically significant crypto collectibles.   I will definitely check that out, thanks for the recommendation!

Very nice, Mitchell. I appreciate your links and will definitely check those out. I noticed that I couldn't get on your website for some reason, it says its temporarily down. But don’t fear, for I will keep trying to get on your website! I have a few Satori chips, pre and post fork, love those! I'll be adding some Bitcoin Pennies to my collection soon hopefully. That cold key looks really cool, so it tells you what 50cents of BTC was worth from the time period it was issued? Cool. I wonder, how long have they been making these?

According to this tool (https://www.freshworks.com/website-monitoring/is-it-down/https%3A%2F%2Fwww.coinsofnakamoto.com%2F) my website should be up and working, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Please try again later. :D

Yes, it shows how much 50 euro was at that point in time and is loaded with that amount as well. ColdKey has been making them for about 4 months now and they plan on continuing to do so for as long as they can from what I understand.

Hey tread93 :)
Welcome to the Collectibles sub-forum o/

That cold key looks really cool, so it tells you what 50cents of BTC was worth from the time period it was issued? Cool. I wonder, how long have they been making these?

Thanks for your kind words. :)
I am the maker of Coldkeys.

It's not really what .5BTC was worth when they were released, the History serie works the other way around. :)
Every month, we release a new Coldkey whose denomination equates to 50€ on the 1st day of the month.

We believe it's a nice way for everyone to keep track of Bitcoin's Rate History, while stacking some coins with time.
On top of that, we are associating with artists renowned in the crypto-space to offer very nice collectibles to the community.

You can find more information on the History Coldkey thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193561) that has been linked. :)

Thank you Mitchell for replying  8)
Yes indeed, the first History Coldkey release was Q4 2019.

Every release is limited in quantity.
32 History Coldkeys were made for October / November and December 2019.
In January 2020, we introduced subscriptions so our customers were able to pre-purchase a whole set for the Q1 2020 History Coldkey.
So far, a bit less than 40 have been sold and they won't be available anymore on the 12th of February.

On the 12th, the February History Coldkeys will be released, etc..

Yes, we don't plan to stop making them anytime soon. :)

I heard a couple of weirdo Dutch people are pouring precious metal in clay...
Turning them into clunky, yet strangely attractive crypto bars...
