i will go for Counter Strike and Battle Realms lol.

light graphics and very friendly game(though killing is the best strategy)

i also played sometimes Call of Duties and Need for Speed as my Son loves those games also so we are playing together as part of Bonding.

Wow you remember be about GTA, was the first game played on my first pc, really like it, it was GTA 3, i after played NFS online, but not home , we had a house with many computers and playing there, and after i also played HITMAN, and Counter Strike at that time online.

Isn't CS supposed to be online? Unless you don't mind playing with the bots.

I also played with the bots to test my skill , and also at that time not have internet on pc, only on phone some dial up speed, until go to internet cafe.

There are a lot of the best PC games offline but the one I like the most is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It feels great to play and can easily rank up. Go play with the bot too but I like playing my own. Whenever I was sitting in leisure time I played this game a little faked.

Fifa or PES are enough 

you can play by LAN mate or with BOT so basically considered as Offline game also.

internet cafe when times that Internet is still very expensive and lines are not available in all areas.years passed by so fast.

Due to the fact that I love cars Need for Speed is the best series for me.
Perfect graphics and gameplay. I have played a lot of hours of this game. It helped me a lot learn how to drive on real life (believe it or not  ;D )

Call of duty is one on my list.

Yes, these two. I still have it on my PC as in right now and I can play it anytime that I want.

How about the left 4 dead series? I have the first version offline while the 2nd one is through steam.

Ah, the glorious yet frustrating days of the dialup era. I did play CS with bots too but their navigations were so terrible back then.

I still sometimes play CS. But if we talk about offline games, then I can add warcraft 3 (the original, of course), GTA SA, and a half-life series on my own.

I have played many offline games but there is nothing that could compare to [witcher 3 wild hunt ] the gameplay, the storyline, the graphics all are perfect I really love this game

I have played lots of game in PC.These are GTA series call of duty series and pes and fifa series.But all time favourite is gta and fifa series.i think you should try these games.But online game is addicted.If you played offline i will suggest gta,call of duty and fifa series.if you like online games i will suggest Apex Legends, Fortnite,Pubg and Counter-Strike.

I love history and geography, so this series of games is my favorite

I like many offline games on PC including GTA because this is very entertaining for me. I have often tried playing games on a PC and for online games maybe the first I often played was Mobile Legend and PUBG. because both of these games really challenge my adrenaline.

"Devil May Cry" you can add to your OP one best game i had played recently though the Game was indeed since 2008 if i am not mistaken.

Best offline game for me has to be the Football Manager.

Playing with my brother on one PC is more then experience.

If you are Football/Soccer fan and you haven't played it, I would strongly advise you to do that.

Yes, it expired but there's a new free game from Epic games again and there will be another batch that's on the mystery list.

Ye, lemme go clear some rubbish from my hard disk so I can allocate 90+GB for GTA.

And that free game is Civilization VI.

Uninstall all of that trash that you don't need on your computer so that you can enjoy the game.

I haven't played this CVI but I think it looks good and I have already added it into the queue since it's free.

I just realized Epic Games launcher is installed in the same partition as Steam, and only 60 GB is available because of stuffs from the latter.

Guess I'll have to move it elsewhere then :D

Civ is a good game if you're into Real Time Strategy (like Dota, C&C) type of games operating on a turn-based mechanic which is of slower-pace. There's a video of it below:

I also recommend you to play a monster hunter series if you want a rpg game that has many thrills and excitement. It is not easy to understand but it is really enjoying to play if you started to understand how to play it. You can play it offline and online and there is no limits even if you play it only on offline. There are many monster hunter games in many consoles so you don't need to have a high grade consoles because it is accessible with only an Android phone or low specs pc as long as you have a 2gb ram and the system is not outdated.

I don't remember them but if you want to get to the latest offline games for this year, you should check the biggest gaming platforms:

I took a look at it and I missed these sets of games that I used to download to my phone before when I was younger. The game that's made through Java. But currently, I don't like the genre but the games on sale there are good and they're on sale.

GTA Vice City was long overdue and i am excited for upcoming GTA 5, almost there resemblance has announced. Later I could not collect any new news but hopefully it has added a lot of new missions.

I miss the time Asphalt used to be an offline game too :-\. One of my favourite games to play when I've nothing to do, however, I am time-limited, I go with Funky Karts - I installed it as Chrome extension.

Assassin's Creed games are the best for me too play offline. Especially the last one Odyssey was awesome.

Shooters I only like to play online vs humans, it's kind of boring playing vs bots.

IIRC, I started playing the old series of Far Cry, 3. And I started liking as I play the story mode.

You should give it a try too guys, it's enjoying to play this survival/action/shooter/castaway story line.

Games are mainly our means of entertainment best of all is that Furnite is the title of a Battle Royale that puts 100 players against each other on an increasingly compressed map until a single player or squad stands. Fortnite includes resource collection and building in addition to gunplay so you must run around the field with your hand picks to collect castle-worthy materials. Matches are easy to find and very addictive.

FIFA on consoles is terrible, but I got it on PC this year and it is so much better. There's a great community of people who work to make the game better and fix all of EA's faults.

The great thing is you don't need too powerful a graphics card to run it either.

I always preferred company of heroes 2 to men of war. But the campaign and bots get boring very fast. I would recommend playing online.

Would be awesome to get company of heroes 3 eventually.

Lately, I started to play Hitman 1. I've just finished two missions(chapter), I like playing a little by little so that I can't finished it quickly.
