Title: Can anyone accelerate this transfer?
Post by: TheAndy500 on February 12, 2020, 07:12:45 PM
Hi,

I made transfer with low fee. I thought it will take two - three hours, but still is hanging. I need it quite fast.

Can anyone push it?

Thank you!

Can anyone push it?
I've tried to push it a little and accelerated it with bitaccelerate.com and other services:
Transaction successfully re-broadcasted. Fee: 11.16 sat/B :
Broadcasted via node: bitnovo.com
Broadcasted via node: spectrocoin.com
Broadcasted via node: coinb.in
Broadcasted via node: blockexplorer.com
Broadcasted via node: blockcypher.com
Broadcasted via node: bitpay.com
Broadcasted via node: smartbit.com.au
Broadcasted via node: blockdozer.com
Let's see how fast it will go now... good luck !

Thanks.

I didn't check before sending. My bad. It seemed to go quite quickly, and here we have the queue.

Thanks for the help!

At first I thought it was Segwit's fault, because in the same wallet I have this - normal wallet. But this should not be a problem, because I sent from the normal address created in Electrum.
Nevermind. I think I should wait about 24h and then I will worry. Now when it comes to acceleration, it can be done only by a miner connected to the pool.

Anyway, a good lesson for the future, not to choose the lowest fees ;)

You have an unconfirmed parent which your tx cannot go through, what wallet did you use? Is there any RBF feature?
Even viabtc cant help to accelerate your tx due to lower fee, so you should wait until it got confirmed or drop by the network.

You can accelerate the stucked BTC transactions yourself next time:

1) Antpool accelerator: Create a new account and paste TX id, it will be accelerated:
https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm?m=savePrioritiseTx

2) Viabtc.com accelerator:

2) Viabtc.com accelerator:

As mentioned above you, having a low fee viabtc can't help this kind of transaction. The accelerator will just say "Transaction fee is low."

I've tried to push it a little and accelerated it with bitaccelerate.com and other services:
Is this a real accelerator or just sort of the same as confirmtx before? I doubt that this is an actual accelerator.

Same as confirmtx. It's not doing anything at all, which isn't too surprising but people keep spreading similar sites on social media pretending that they do work, while in reality they do not work. It's just a traffic guzzler.

There was a guy on here being a miner at one of Bitmain's pools accelerating transactions for people, but currently I don't know anyone who can provide a similar service. ViaBTC has always been the best low tier option for people.

I already have 5 confirmations, I don't know which push was the right one. Anyway, thank you all for your willingness to help.

I think this is a good topic to explain how it works - I mean push the transfer in different situations and wallets.

I did it myself several times in the past, but today, with so many possibilities I didn't know where to apply.

I will close this thread, because I don't need any more help in this matter, but as I wrote, I think it would be good for someone who knows more about this topic to write a guide.

Thanks again everyone. We were able to do it!
