Guys, Let’s speculate about the cardano growth potential /price after going so down in the last bear market ;D ;D

I think Cardano is likely to touch price $ 0.1 on this year because Bull Run is still ongoing. this coin including a nice coin and are you one of those who like Cardano (ADA)? I think it would not hurt if you want to invest in this coin now before the price continues to rise. ;D

It is true that cardano $ 0.06 is likely to rise again if the bullrun continues and there is no longer bearish, Cardano is an important coin in the cryptocurrency market where many investors holding it, especially from the Asian region, believe that Cardano will restore its former glory.
Let's look at the next price after continuous bullrun.

I believe there current testnet will be a major factor in the future price of Cardano. They need to really make sure to address any and all issues prior to formal launch and really show off their expertise. Charles does a great job going around the world to make connections, but I think for the next 6-12 months all the time and energy really needs to be on coming up with a great product.

see the trend when bitcoin is at its peak cardano can only move up to $ 1 less and keep going down. but it was exciting when a few months later it could rise up to $ 0.37. but then could not develop again until now. that momentum cannot be taken up by Cardano and is still rooted to the impetus of the rise in bitcoin. if bitcoin goes up it is certain that the achievement of breaking through $ 1 could have happened.

Hopefully that will be consistent and pumping this year because we don't know yet how long it takes for bullrun to become dominant. What's good for now is to save your cardano coins before this increases for more than $0.1 in the next few months. Who knows the price will reach until $1 each unexpectedly.

Yes I am a fan of cardano ;D....Hopefully it might reach at least 0.5$ Or more with Altcoin bull run when bitcoin reaches its ATH....it has a big community and and its a old coin now so kinda ppl have still faith in its development....

I don't have big expectations for ADA on how much the coin can increase. But I guess that ADA will have a chance to grow, and if the price can reach $0.1, that will be a big surprise for us because ADA can compete with the other coin, especially for the low coins price. We will see it later if ADA can rise in the next bull run, then we will make a big profit, especially if a pump is coming at the market.

The latest news I heard from there is about staking on testnet, do you have any idea when will it goes live?
It can be a game-changing and turning point for Cardano in our current bull market. If it happens this year or next year, it will not impossible for it tor each Its new ath again.
But if it keeps delaying as ETH did, we should not put our hope too much because there is something better and more advanced compared to ETH appeared.
To put it bluntly, ADA and ETH are getting outdated compared to their new competitor like Tezos.

I have been there when last bull run happened and the way it happened , it crushed all analysis and expert views ;D ..So I believe when this time bull run happens it will be massive and can give unexpected performance for altcoins but we can’t say which one exactly will grow massively and which one will crashdown...But seeing a big cardano community and known coin, reaching ATH is not impossible :) :) :)

I have a feeling this coin will be really big some day down the line,,, but I still cannot bring myself to cough up more money for more alts that may and may never make it big. I wish Cardano luck, they have a good person in charge but I have enough centralized founder coins to keep me busy for my whole life already;)

A lot of anticipation for ADA and all altcoins in this market. As you have seen the market in 2020, things are going up and I predict ADA could reach $ 0.2 this year. Or it will be even higher than I expected because this is one of the best altcoins in this market

Yes, ADA is one of the best projects which we need to hold them in the long term, recently they released their staking platform which in the coming day's many people will start holding ADA coin. The company should release the live version and I am one of the person waiting for the live version.

Honestly, I have lost my hope on this coin, whenever I see this coin, I avoid it from buying!  Because there is no profit in Cardano! Right now most of the good altcoins are increasing in price except this one, Cardano price growth is very low! Cardano needs to boost in this pump otherwise many investors will leave this coin! The bull run can change it, that time ADA price may hit 0.30- 0.50 USD, I can't expect more from this coin!

Cardano received lot of attention in the market and quickly made a place in the top 10 list of the market. It is always good to think for longer term, and the future looks bright. Based on the analysis which I researched it looks like it will reach 0.016$ by the end of the year. Well it is possible cardano will reach new goals and hopefully it will bounce back in upcoming days.

The top coin in the market will follow the bitcoin price movement. Can you see the price movement in a few days ago, when bitcoin market good then their prices will be up and when bitcoin price is decrease then we will see the price of altcoins will also decrease as you can see right now, most of the altcoin prices are decreasing. Including cardano which is decreasing almost 9%, but I think soon when bitcoin market up again then this coin will up again. And I will make my speculation here, I think this coin price will past its all time high, at least this coin will reach $2 when the bull run coming.

Maybe Cardano is only for trading in the short term so that would be right but in the long run it's also better even though I have never held it.

Cardano seems a sleeping giant. There is no much talk about this great coin, I think it's normal because the Cardano really has less development and media coverage when XRP is growing incredibly! So, it's tough to speculate the Cardano price. Cardano needs a boost up like Ethereum and I believe it will start in the next bull run!

I think cardano coin growth is good after Stellar. In this bull run price will go 0.08$ and i think end of 2021 price will get 0.15$. ADA seems most potential coin for 2020. For the profitable  investment it would be best investment in this year as per as all of the team members efforts. Investors getting their future brightest coin in this community.       

I'd love to see cardano at  $0.5 this year and so on, because of its capability to aim high. This coins has been very promising even if the market has no assurance of obtaining the top price. It should be very tight in the coming months, so let's keep posted and updated with it's current changes in order to come up with a very secure phase of holdings. We shouldn't ignore the possibilities, because there's always a potential in every asset as well.

The crypto market is moving at a rapid pace, it's very difficult to predict cardano's price right now. But it has faced lot of ups and downs in the past few years, long-term investment on this coin will be profitable. Cardano's supporters are eagerly waiting to see a significant increase and I believe it will happen in near futures. My prediction for cardano is 0.25 till the end of the year :)

It's not a difficult thing, there was no a lot of movement in the cardano market as the pattern that alreayd shown by ADA is very similar with bitcoin. No movement for this period and ADA will be getting stuck at this place as there was no a big result from the development progress.
It gets less volatile at these days.
25 cents look a very difficult rate to be achieved by the end of this year. 10 cents looks a little bit better.

And though this project really suffers in the bear market but I believe this is one of the legit projects in the market that will pump as the altcoins season will arrive. Seeing its price graph, this tells me that currently we are given great opportunity to invest.

I don't know about Cardano projects but this coin is one of the potential altcoins and I think it will reach $0.5 in the next year and it could be reach $1 if there is bull market happened.

It is one of the coins that I rarely see the price moving all that much, in the long term it is around the same top 10ish levels that it has been for a long time and not going to make any changes if you ask me. Sometimes it goes up and down but usually that is exactly on par with the market movements so it is not self movement that is out of market.

So in the end, the most it can go high would be around 8th or 9th and worst it will go is 15th at worst. I do not think it would even move that much and 10-12 is the rank they will stay for a long time. ADA has never been something that let people down but never been too hyped neither, it found itself a great place and will probably just continue to exist at the spot it peaked. Even 0.1 cent looks too unrealistic for it.

May take a lot of years to see its growth really. I hope I'm wrong but todays market is very different from 2016.

As you see now, Cardano coin is existed on TOP 11 in the market and despite its price is pretty low ( less than $ 0.06 ) but actually, it has a huge value of market cap, that's the most important thing, I guess this is good chance for buying a big amount of this currency ( between $50 and 100 is okay ) , but don't take the risk through wasting all your money on Cardano because except Bitcoin and Ethereum, there is no guaranteed profit and safe, that is my own view.
Furthermore, I predict that after the halving of Bitcoin,  Cardano will rise to $ 0.1 or 0.2, due to this coin is certainly centralized and linked to BTC.

The same thing with ripple its not that valuable but it's inside the top 10 from CMC, Cardano have a huge potential since there are supporters
who are working behind this project, if you are aiming for mid-long term investment this asset is good for waiting, chances is high for this coin
to ride with bitcoin halving.
The current value is good to start your investment, just spare the money that you are willing to risk then wait and hold your coins.

Among many other sleeping giants,,, but the problem is why do we think they are giants? Is it simply because of a supply thing and a market cap issue? I actually believe Cardano has good tech and some good development. They even had very strong people behind them and decent marketing,,, but the end issue will be for me always, do they users using?

First of all, Cardano or ADA is a decentralized project and shouldnt be compare with XRP.
@leea-1334, people in the crypto sphere consider a coin or token as giant if it long-existing, recognized by top reputable exchange sites, listed among crypto integrated by most used hardware wallet , listed among top 100 crypto on the capital market, huge market cap, and volume.

I also believed they have good tech because they are the first to integrated Haskell programming language but what they lack is good marketing strategies and with the plan of taking their project to some African countries while their coins is almost reached total supply things might finally change for good.

Agree to this man. We couldn't compare one coin to another as each has its own distinct features in which people are hook into. Considering a coin as a giant seemed to be a subjective approach, one user may see the potential in such particular coin that the user cannot perceived. So, pleasing them won't bring a good thing though. Anyway, Cardano had quite a run in the past 3 months having a solid gain between the end of January and earlier at February but suddenly fall down a bit, and I somehow expect that it will continue on (well, unpredictable but that is the way I see it).

Sorry a bit off-topic, curious, what features, contents or whatsoever this Haskell programming language has that the other programming launguage didn't have that makes them outstanding?

I like the coin, but it's still too early for the price to be representative of anything beyond speculation about the future. With coins at this stage, price movements can be very unpredictable. I would just say be cautious, and wait until a clearer picture emerges. Or just go with ETH instead!

People are still betting on the sharding that has already implemented by cardano. Not so many people are hyping it right now and it is getting a lack of demand, Mostly people are putting their attention to the major coins. even if this is also a major coin but it's not so aggressive in term of the short term chart compared with another coin. I'm not willing to put a big expectation as the result for ada in the long term.

I would like to ask you about your criteria on major coins, because in my own evaluation, I believe that cardano is one of the major coins.
Currently rank at number 13 now in https://coinmarketcap.com/, with a decent amount of trading volume, I think one day Cardano will rise, we can't just judge it now as overall the market for altcoins is still not healthy.

I've spent a lot of time with Cardano over the past few weeks and also read / watched all kinds of interviews and updates from Hoskinson. The more I read from Cardano, the more convinced I am of the project, the approach and what has already been achieved (especially Ouroboros) make me very positive.
On Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/cardano/comments/g0oqm8/cardano_vs_ethereum_20_vs_tezos/) there is a very interesting thread from ETH compares with Tezos and Cardano. Guess that might be worth reading for some of you. Would love to hear some opinions of you guys!

Currently ADA is fluctuating in the resistance zone of $ 0.0332 and the EMAs are showing it higher at the average price. Besides, ADA has twice fallen into the strong support of $ 0.0318 but could not break down. That shows that there was quite a bit of buying power at that price range, and so did BTC. The halving event is also coming soon so the fomo will soon take place and this is a good opportunity for us to buy ADA and sell at $ 0.041 for the next 1 month. Our market will rebound strongly and Covid 19 will gradually be controlled in the near future.

I'm not sure about Cardano's future but this is a very good long-term project and will definitely be applied to many different fields in the future. Currently, due to the downtrend of the market, the coin cannot rise well and certainly after the end of covid-19 , things will soon return to normal and the value of ADA will be greatly improved.

But since this is only speculation then let us give our own views in future.
For me Cardano os a good currency that i have seen in the past years but it seems that the team is doing nothing to progress the coins.
that is why now subsiding so bad and there are long views of growing again but if you are ready to keep the holding for this whole Halving?then there might be a chance that Holders will Profit.

First of all, thank you for your posting. I also see the lack of use of real applications as one of the biggest problems. However, this does not only affect Cardano, other projects such as EOS or Tezos also have a rarely used chain, when they send out rewards, for example.
What makes me positive here is that Cardano only entered into a partnership with the South African National Blockchain Alliance in early April. The aim of this partnership is, among other things, to find and develop use cases for blockchain applications:


It remains to be seen whether and how such collaborations will bear fruit. Nevertheless I think the approach to establishing Cardano in markets that are just beginning to adapt to blockchain, is very promising.

It is now hard to say what will happen next on this coin as the ADA is heavily influenced by the downtrend of the market and the bear market is returning in the last few months. I think covid-19 is not a problem because there are still some good coins that have been rising very high in recent times. Of course, according to my prediction, the ADA is very much dependent on the price of Bitcoin, so the investment needs to monitor the volatility of this coin to consider carefully.

I like cardano and I have it and I believe that will rise but as of now I can give any possible price this year or in the year 2021.

Cardano is a project of crypto and will depend heavily on the next trend of this market so one way or another you need to consider carefully before deciding to invest. Cardano is a slow gainer coin! This coin has some different fanbase, without much development, ADA still holds the top rank! Personally, I don't think Cardano price will go high within 202-2021 period! If the bull run comes within this time, then Cardano price may cross 1$, otherwise, ADA at 0.10$ seems a dream to me.

There's not much to expect actually on this coin when the market is not bullish ,no hype means the price would not rise,
sad to say but that has been the reality in the past 2 years.

2x, is easy to achieve, even x10 or even more is possible as long as the market will be bullish,.

The changes are very well received by the community, especially the greatly reduced sync times and the general stability of the wallet

The Github projects (https://cardanoupdates.com/) are currently very (!) active with almost 3000 commits in the last week. The high frequency of commits also indicates that the code quality and code security measures so often mentioned by Charles Hoskinson are actually taking effect. Otherwise, this huge amount of changes in the code base can barely be made without completely destroying a product or building up a massive technical dept.

However, these points have too little media effectiveness to result in a price jump. I see this at the earliest with the release of Shelley and the staking option introduced with it. Until then, the fundamentals and the intensive work on the project make me very confident.

It's great when you wake up and the price has risen by almost 15% overnight ;) The reason for this massive (not "massive" in terms of 2017 but you know what I mean) increase is yesterdays release of Daedalus 1.0.0. We don't know what price of cardano in the future but if the bull run will happen in the next year, surely the price of cardano would reach $1 price but if not maybe around $0.1 I guess.

I do not think so, the Cardano competitors are much faster and more efficient, the main flow of Cardano is that they want to be everything, and it takes a lot of time to do this. Besides POS testnet from 2018 nothing particular happened. Cardano describes itself as 3 rd generation crypto but soon ETH also will be 3rd generation crypto. It is overpriced in my opinion. I had big hopes into this project but now I',m sure this is not right way.

Cardano Has Launched Its Daedalus 1.0 Mainnet Wallet (https://cryptobriefing.com/cardano-launched-daedalus-mainnet-wallet/) yesterday and why it is important ? Because Daedalus is part of Cardano’s Byron Reboot, which went live on Apr. 1. So When the Shelley mainnet goes live, it will offer staking rewards to all users this will be time i think where we see some good price action. Perhaps we might reach previous ATH lets see.

However, I don't share the opinion that the sudden increase has nothing to do with the release of the video. Just have a look at the following chart:

Late in the evening on the 23rd the video was released, immediately after that the price jumped. In comparison, here is the Tezos chart, where the price increase is much smoother:

That the price increase coincides exactly with the release of the video and still is a coincidence can be natural, I hardly believe it. If I am right, I am very curious how the upcoming releases will affect the price and if you will see similar increases.

The Cardano competitors all have the same or at least similar problems: severe delays of their roadmaps (see for example the roadmap of ETH where ETH wanted to be at the end of 2019). However, it is generally not so unusual for software projects to be delayed.
Cardano wants a lot at once, that is true. In the meantime they have managed to set themselves apart, at least their roadmap is now very clearly structured and you can see when you can expect what. Here is the link to it.  (https://cardanoroadmap.com/en/)

The release of the shelley-testnet at the end of 2019 was a big step forward. The testnet is also used quite intensively, according to Charles 18.000 people/wallets have already delegated their ADA and several thousand sake pools are running.

Their roadmap is probably one of the best of crypto I have to admit that. Sadly there is not a lot of interest in this coin, social media are rather weak. Currently, the price on the chart may look very attractive but it is still 17 times higher than in ICO and I just do not see how they can beat ETH, not in the current shape at least.

All just stop at the prediction and cardano first need to grow steadily during this time because this is the decisive time for the existence of the project. I think the value of ADA is very cheap now and you can consider investing anytime if you like. However, the situation is now very difficult and the covid-19 pandemic has not shown any end, so people will have to be very careful when choosing to invest.

I think Cardano is well aware that they also lack marketing. In order to push the project in terms of marketing, a cooperation with Price Waterhouse Coopers was recently entered into. Does it still has the synching problem? I remember that year ago it took me few days to synch a wallet, who has that much time?? There is also one feature that this wallet has or maybe everyone on has I'm not sure but when you paste your address twice in a row,  the receiver will still get coins.

Synching was one of the big problems addressed by Daedalus 1.0.0. The progress made here was so important to Charles Hoskinson that he mentioned it in his announcement video:


So it is remarkable how the performance screw has been turned here, btw. the chain itself is currently about 4 GB if you plan to download it.

I am not aware of such an issue, but I am sure the team would love to hear that if you still can reproduce it with a newer version of Daedalus!

It's funny to look at your predictions, how do you make a prediction like that. Make a more specific prediction, and I'm sure its price will be in the range of $ 0.1-1 $ in the future haha

It is already 0.045 right now, that ain't half bad if you ask me. The 0.1 price range looks quite realistic, it is only a 2x away and altcoins always does that kind of jump all the time so I do not see it not breaking the 0.1 in the next 1 year, I can't talk about 1 dollar because that is 20x and that kind of big jumps rarely happens, not saying it doesn't happen but rarely happens.

So, I think the realistic would be 0.1 cents for the next year, at least we could still hope for a 2x that we rarely get in anything else, you can't make that type of profit easily on stock markets for example, you surely wouldn't get it in gold neither, you can't get it on real estate, you can't get it from banks, so the only way to make 2x from your money looks to be crypto, and cardano as an example.

Cardaano hasn't delivered anything, I don't know how it is still in the top 20 by only releasing a faulty wallet   :-\ 5 years in the making and all we hear is Charles submitting academic paper. In my personal perception, I think ADA will rebound, the bulls have not yet jumped into action as everyone expects, but BTC is not in bearish trend, it only has a pullback, this can be an incentive for lops fans and investors.

I am not sure if it can break over the $5 price because that looks way too much for now, but at the same time if we are going to have a huge bull run then why not? It is not even 4x at this point, a bit less than that and in a huge bull run we could definitely have a x4 return in something as great as ADA. It is currently sitting at 5th biggest coin, even after all the news and all the tweets of elon musk and all the even SNL stuff, we are looking at ADA being a lot better and higher at the rankings.

This is why we should not be looking too shocked at the price being closer to 5 dollars or even above if there is a bull run. However I doubt that we will have a huge bull run anytime soon, we could have a small one but a huge one is a different thing. The market in general is looking at a very good outlook, almost everything in green, but you don't have to trust too much, because the market can give any surprise, you have to be very careful.

Cardano can reach $10 by the end of the year, IMHO. However, it would take ~80% of ADA being delegated, and smart contracts to be pulled off without any hiccups. Also, we would need 100+ Dapps in the ecosystem to really take off.

Love your optimism, Cardano is an awesome project, Charles and IOHK have done a fantastic job. i don't think btc will struggle to get up to these highs your stating including ada. At least not in 2021. Could still see some good gains though, Looking ready for another run up now to the mid $3 range.
