Title: Gaming Industry and Cryptocurrency!
Post by: Asuspawer09 on February 14, 2020, 01:05:05 AM
We all know that Cryptocurrency and Gaming industry fits well, these assets is already accelerating as there is an estimated 1million$ of transactions traded in these two industries in the past 7 days alone.

The blockchain technology already uses a lot in the gaming industry and tend to be stronger as the gamers support cryptocurrency. There is no doubt that the connection between the two increases the use of cryptocurrency.
Investors are interested and racing to in investing in cryptocurrency games platforms such as The Sandbox and Cryptovoxels want to buy virtual real states with this platform.

Surely the gaming industry is helping a lot when it comes to mass adoption especially in transactions, problems and issues are encountered in making a purchase from cards/debit cards also fees with just a micropayment developers find blockchain as an alternative payment or could be the solution.

Today the Gaming and cryptocurrency combined are already a trend:

Earlier this year we a new Minecraft Server, SatoshiQuest, went live. Which enables the participants to somehow treasure hunts bitcoin.

I bet we're all familiar with Minecraft. And if you love Minecraft, I think this news will be interesting for you.

SatoshiQuest is a new mod in Minecraft that just hit the front page of the Bitcoin subreddit. It is said by the creator that it gives players a unique bitcoin wallet linked to their UUID in Minecraft.

Players will have to log in and they will receive an address where they can deposit a small amount of money like $1 worth of Bitcoin to purchase lives. They can explore the game but the game becomes more thrilling when a certain player is close to the loot, other players can steal it.

SatoshiQuest creator says the transactions are done on-chain and the game will reset after finding the loot.

We also have Lightnight A Bitcoin-integrated battle royale game that is still under development that is close to a Fortnite clone.

They say that you could earn bitcoin by hitting other players and vice versa when other players hit you...the game balance is updating every time a player hits you or if you pick up a valuable item.

You can now trade Your Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items for Bitcoin Cash, using the Bitcoin.com Local as an escrow.

here at Link Here (https://local.bitcoin.com/steam/Buy)

You could connect your steam account to the bitcoin.com local and go and trade CS: Go items in the Steam inventory.

"When I first came across the trustless escrow technology built on top of the Bitcoin Cash network, I was impressed. Previously, I had seen many instances where third party escrow providers had exit-scammed users, resulting in the loss of funds."
-Luke Lynch

Just like other games in the steam CS: GO is really a popular shooting game for a long time, having this kind of escrow technology with the Bitcoin Cash could easily do some gain in the cryptocurrency community.

I know some games are developed through Blockchain but I wasn't aware that Minecraft uses Bitcoin now.
I'm not a gamer but I do play some apps sometimes and hopefully, there could be a time that we can buy some upgrades with Bitcoin as one of the payment modes as I only use Google Pay or a debit/credit card most of the time in buying upgrades.

Well, the tandem of crypto currency and gaming industry surely is exciting since there are many gamers in different country. But I think, the bitcoin should not be use for payments only or to buy items and/or peripherals in the game. I think there should be atleast other game wherein they can get bitcoin, maybe the best is the gambling but a pvp type of game.

Lightnight looks great. If the gameplay and graphics are excellent it could be a good game to promote Bitcoin imo.

I think a game where you can get Bitcoin or crypto by winning a match/session is generally a good idea. The user only needs to input their wallet address, play the game and then earn rewards. In terms of marketing, a third-party can use their marketing funds to encourage users to do some specific things, such as building a good team with the sponsor name on it.

The minecraft mod also looks great.

The graphics of these said games are like Minecraft and it looks amazing. Now, I understand why many kids love to play Minecraft and with the Lightnight, does requires us to have a deposit or sort of bet before playing the game or they are just rewarding everyone who kills another player without any collateral from the players? Is somebody already played the game? this is really fantastic, this is like a dream come true if this goes long term.

Lightnite looks amazing. Just checked out their official website (https://lightnite.io/) and it looks fun as hell for the average kid. Especially when you can also have an opportunity to earn a few bucks playing it..

The only thing is, this could turn into a bad usage of Bitcoin by children (remember stealing credit cards to buy in-game currencies?). But I guess it's going to be way harder than the credit card thing, considering the credit card purchase only needs the numbers on the front and the CVV..

It's amazing to see these games coming to reality though. Might give Lightnite a try once it goes singleplayer (it's supposed to be released this month but it's not up yet)!

Battle Royals are a bomb right now in the gaming industry, a lot of players are playing that genre at any age. I think they should also consider MOBAs since that is also something that would people look into. Thanks for that information since I love games and I never thought that these games are even a thing yet, I think I will be starting to mine some Sats now.

About satoshiquest where you do purchase up some in game potions thats why theres a unique depo address for each player. So it isnt a F2P but on general sense those things are
essential for you to last on the game and the main target is to loot.I havent tested out the game though but both satoshiquest and lightnight are pretty damn good games imho.

Looks like this gaming industry and cryptocurrency have some chemistry. As a gamer I personally like cryptocurrency since I'm aware of it, I would love to have this kind of idea and probably going to play this cryptocurrency games that look so challenging also it would be great if you could also earn cryptocurrency in the game probably some kind of gambling game.

Minecraft treasure hunt server would be fun to play I don't know if the game main goal is to find bitcoin or you could also just play for fun. But having this bitcoin in the game would be entertaining and could boost gamers to play.

Cryptocurrencies and the GAMBLING industry can fit very well, but I'm not so sure about cryptocurrencies and the gaming industry.More than 10 years since the creation of Bitcoin and several years after most big altcoins were created,I can't see a game using cryptocurrencies to buy and sell virtual game items to be really popular and successful.Congratulations about the Minecraft server that uses BTC and let's hope that the Fortninte clone game will launch successfully, but those aren't original concepts.Copying Minecraft and Fortnite isn't enough. We have to come up with a unique crypto game concept that can't be exploited, with a virtual game item marketplace that can't get manipulated.

Indeed. Cryptocurrency and gambling is such a good combination. You can play different games and at the same time you can earn. That's why it's undeniable that a lot of crypto enthusiast are also into gambling. Though we also know that gambling can lead us to great loss of money. But it's a risk we make so we should also be prepare about losing.

And as for Minecraft with Bitcoin, that's really new and exciting and I guess you can really earn Bitcoin because it is said that you have to deposit first. So I guess you can really earn. And it's like you're mining while playing which is cool.

Yes, they are good. Thanks for hinting about some game feature like potions. I still haven't tried it and waiting for more verifications and reviews before testing it on my own, just to be sure.
I hope that these games will last unlike those early projects that was made and has its own dedicated token yet, many of them turned into a failure.

There is so much games that are cryptocurrency is involved just like what happened on the game League of Legends or what we called right now the LoL in which there are a group of people who try to inject some script on the game and whenever they play the game the script will intent to mine some coin which is the xmr or the monero and they will earned but eventually it has been detected and stop the doings because they say it is illegal.

After reading this I immediately think of the Movie Ready Player One, about virtual gaming that could use all resources that you have in the game in real life, and after seeing that you can earn bitcoin by killing someone in the game is an absolute likeliness in that movie, Well a game developer can surely apply that concept and used real-time money inside the game, currency that is real money is very usual now inside all online games platform whether it is PC, Mobile, or a gaming console would surely have real money purchases,

And I think if a person can earn money inside that game I guess that game could be a big hit instantly, people love playing games, people love earning money, people love working on their skills and techniques beating the game or other players inside the game If they can surely combine all of that aspect I guess that would be an instant hit, and revolutionizing it with cryptocurrency is a great choice.

I also think that they should make a MOBA so other gamers could also enjoy it.
I also wish that these games would be mobile friendly.

There are already some gaming that crypto related but wasn't gain any attention yet or became a thread in popularity. If there will be a way that crypto will be implemented in popular games now, we can really see if it will have the same impact or support like gambling industry gets in crypto users.  Some gaming companies were seeking partnership from startup crypto company relating in this matter.

The problem with the early crypto games were either half-baked or done with haste. Other games, due to them staying to be a blockchain-based game and all movement and activities needs to be written and recorded on the blockchain, their game pace is quite slow.  And this kind of game is not appealing to the masses.  But the game listed on the OP is quite fascinating, and that shows us how the game sector of Cryptocurrency had improved through the years.

I found the post by Asuspawer09 very informative. I agree with you that gambling and cryptos go together very well, but I don't think that's enough. Gambling has a big problem: it's stigmatized in society. While gamers can also suffer from addiction and it's a big deal, people see gambling more dangerous and unworthy. This means that while it's good for adoption, it might not be that good for reputation. Gaming, on the other hand, is neutral, because while some suggest that it's harmful, others say the opposite. Cloning games is not very good, but I believe that gaming and cryptos can go really well in the future because people often buy stuff in games, and cryptos are indeed convenient for that.

Yeah there are some games that adapting the idea of bitcoin, implementing the blockchain and even using cryptocurrency as their prize and rewards or method of payment but some of them are like a faucet instead of a game, but at least you can still enjoy while doing faucets, and mostly 8bit games there are also a lot of ICO, IEO projects that focuses in the gaming industry but we don't know maybe someday there will be a popular game that based on bitcoin.

The thing is people involved with the gaming industry are more open and more flexible therefore you know with the growing demand for games they try and put in as diverse payment methods that they can , I have never seen that many payment options in any other industry.
Therefore I do think that it is as excellent place where the cryptos are coming in handy .
People actually prefer using cryptocurrencies as a means of payment , I had a person buying Bitcoins from me just because he wanted to pay for the games and all .
It's profitable for both the parties.

Weren't you the same guys who tried to the top-view Fortnite style game a few months back? Or was that someone else, could have sworn your name was in it.

Anyway, Bitcoin's been a big part of crypto gaming -- I still think people have yet to learn about how revolutionary provably fair truly is, and yes I hardly ever use the word "revolutionary"! But other than that the use of crypto is gaming is a good use case, but it can't be the only use case. People or gamers rather, they don't care much about the Bitcoin aspects of crypto... when they should! They'd just as easily use 100 other digital monies.

We saw couple of good quality blockchain game project (https://www.castlecrypto.gg/blockchain-games-list/) came in to the crypto world but sadly most of them didn't survive. I guess it need more time to expand for gaming project in blockchain industry.

One thing that i don't understand why most of blockchain game create with low quality graphics..? People mostly play game for spent some relaxing time or for make fun but how could people play those game if it's not interesting. I guess this is one of the most important side to working out.

The concept of the game is fine and I think is a really innovative way to promote bitcoin. But I am worried about its progress for a couple of reasons. One thing that I would like to point out is that since this game is a fortnite clone basically, this could cause some copyright infringement and issues from the developers of the two games. Which could then cause controversy. This could either make or break the game as it could garner users to come in and play the game, but it could also cause serious legal issues and at the end have the game be closed.

Another is the payment method. We want the game to be as accessible as possible through all means. And it being only available for purchase through bitcoin doesn't help. I know the developers want to promote bitcoin or cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment but not everyone is a bitcoin investor. This could easily be a gateway to have them invest altogether to bitcoin but setting up a bitcoin payment on a non-bitcoin user is already a big obstacle.

because this is still the beginning, the focus on gaming and blockchain is still in a small reach and no one has really built it to high-quality standards. This is related to financing, and the target markets and consumers. The next few years I'm sure if the gaming and blockchain niches get a good response, then the next few years will appear games with better quality.

Exactly! Gaming industry becomes widely known specially in Sea Games wherein they included it as a sport, specifically e sport. In this matter we can see how influential gaming industry was that is why there is a big chance for mass adoption if we apply blockchain or crypto with this platform. Also, in this way we can enjoy the feature of blockchain or crypto for we are just playing a normal online game.

It is great that is added in the SEA Games but I am kind of annoyed when someone says in the social media that these "esports" are just added so that the Philippines can gain more medals in that series, oh well. If this will be beneficial for game developers, and will be in demand, then perhaps we can see the opportunities for cryptocurrencies on a par with fiat.

The only very strong counterbalance is the payment of taxes by companies, and the financial statements in fiat are very different from cryptocurrencies, which tend to change their course.

I must say that I haven't had a gaming experience that is inclined with any cryptocurrency. But the idea of combining the gaming industry with cryptocurrency is very enticing and I believe would encourage more people to finally engage with cryptocurrency. It is truly the best tandem so far, it will be beneficial for both game developers, game and cyrptocurrency enthusiasts. The possibility of cyrptocurrency mass adaption is evidently  visible because there are a lot of people who are very much into gaming specifically online games.

Same question. Does it require the player to deposit funds? Maybe if yes it will turn into gamble and I think this might be a problem to kids if they will be engage in this game that is why they need parental guidance. On the other hand, the game becomes more challenging for the players since we can earn btc from it while playing.

Gaming industry was among first that accepted cryptocurrencies. That is kind of natural and that was open support to new technologies and adoption of crypto. Since gamers are usualy younger generacijom that raised popularity of cryptocurrencies among young. The only problem that I see here is that a lot of kids are exposed to gaming industry as well as cryptocurrencies and that might cause certain problems and addiction too.
However, gaming industry remains one of the best promotors of cryptocurrencies.

One of the early labels of Bitcoin was that it is a currency of gamblers, online gamblers in particular. But it didn't actually stain the reputation of Bitcoin. In fact, the integral features of Bitcoin made it the preferred currency among gamblers of today. It is easy to notice how large the crypto betting sites and casinos accepting Bitcoin have grown to become. That speaks of a large market. Not only that, it propelled crypto gambling sites into a different level with other blockchains and cryptocurrencies joining the competition out of the huge potential of crypto gambling industry.

It is not really a thing to worry about addiction and kids because the huge majority of these crypto gambling sites and casinos are legal and duly registered, thus compliant of the laws regarding addiction and age requirements.

Is somebody already played the game? this is really fantastic, this is like a dream come true if this goes long term.

Same question. Does it require the player to deposit funds? Maybe if yes it will turn into gamble and I think this might be a problem to kids if they will be engage in this game that is why they need parental guidance. On the other hand, the game becomes more challenging for the players since we can earn btc from it while playing.
Depends I think, I haven't experienced playing tho. But for sure it would be more used on buying the items within the game because it would be another thing when betting is involve. It would more look like online gambling if that would be the case so chances are high that it would be used in purchase of goods.
Last few years gaming industry growth itself hugely. This is the only one platform who near crypto industry. That's why many company trying to start their project with blockchain.

I guess this is one of the most important side to working out.

because this is still the beginning, the focus on gaming and blockchain is still in a small reach and no one has really built it to high-quality standards. This is related to financing, and the target markets and consumers. The next few years I'm sure if the gaming and blockchain niches get a good response, then the next few years will appear games with better quality.
That would be good to anticipate and blockchain technology might be adapted to more things knowing that we are on the digital era. Let us enjoy the benefit of using cryptocurrency.

The only problem that I see here is that a lot of kids are exposed to gaming industry as well as cryptocurrencies and that might cause certain problems and addiction too.
The "gaming" industry has existed even before cryptocurrencies, so as for the issue of addiction, some people(the young and old)have always been game addicts, so it didn't just start now, nor is it due to cryptocurrency affiliation, it's in people's nature to be addicted to what they love doing and playing games is one of them.
However, gaming industry remains one of the best promotors of cryptocurrencies.
It's impossible to contest this statement, the two industries looks to blend seamless, people all over the world love to play games, advertising through that means is a perfect way of promulagating cryptocurrency.

We need another set for crypto to rise as another economic factor. Besides these gaming industries been so long stuck up with this kind theme of the game.

Indeed, there are lots of games as of now that is blockchain-based and this is actually awesome on some project. Making a game that can use cryptocurrency is good for those who are always playing games and they can use their own money to buy some equipment using crypto, it is making a transaction easy because there are games that is a hassle to top up.

Adopting cryptocurrency is such an awesome decision when the developers do some innovation to their game, they can earn a lot of money when that game is also a great game and also that can make crypto more famous all around the world when they really get involved with cryptocurrency. Accepting tokens in some top-ups is easy when they do that. Both developers and gamers are getting benefits with that because developers can gain bigger profit and gamers can buy stuff easily.

If this will be beneficial for game developers, and will be in demand, then perhaps we can see the opportunities for cryptocurrencies on a par with fiat.
Blockchain becomes a trend now. Most esport games are trying to be related to a larger e payment system and more convenient. I think blockchain is the solution to it. As you can see, many developers are already building up these games and only those outside their realm will be interested to join forces. See how these huge companies are buying and become interested to blockchain.

It is not really a thing to worry about addiction and kids because the huge majority of these crypto gambling sites and casinos are legal and duly registered, thus compliant of the laws regarding addiction and age requirements.
I think he meant is gaming industry not crypto gambling sites. Cause the addiction in gaming industry of the kids are growing especially in the esport such as mobile legend and dota2. You cant expect them to stop now.

I think a game where you can get Bitcoin or crypto by winning a match/session is generally a good idea. The user only needs to input their wallet address, play the game and then earn rewards.

The rewards for wining a game aren't going to be large. The largest reward feasible for a game would be a few thousand bucks in crypto to an e-sports team for winning a championship. And from there the size of the rewards drops rapidly. I suppose a normal player winning a match would get payed $1 or some other minuscule amount.

Games that reward you for playing already exist they just reward their own perks or virtual coins instead of crypto. That by itself motivates people to play so I don't imagine too many people playing games like that minecraft mod several hours a day just to milk a few bucks.

You're missing the big picture here. Kids won't care how much they earn or lose through the mod. Most Minecraft players are children and they're only playing it because it's fun.

This incentive to make children use cryptocurrencies is a great concept. By using cryptocurrencies from young ages, they grow up with its technology. It's both fun and learning, so why not?

Also, the e-sports championship rewards are much larger than "a few thousand bucks". One example is the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ESL Championship where the teams fight for a final prize of a million bucks. That is worth something, isn't it? ;)

Now if you begin speaking to gamers about their pain points. For instance, like, if they buy that rare skin or super rare item, how many have been bought? How many did the devs really release into the wild? Non-fungible tokens should solve that problem, and you can even do it with Bitcoin, but they gotta understand that first. Stop calling it tokens for example;)

There's definitely a huge overlap between these two industries, the rapid surge of Dapp-based games that use cryptocurrencies to reward users and as an in-game currency clearly demonstrates this.

However, I think that we really need to see an AAA-title have some built-in blockchain element, maybe allow people to buy cryptocurrency in the game and spend it in the real world, or vice-versa.

I think that there is huge untapped potential here, most likely due to the regulatory uncertainty of cryptos, but these walls will come down eventually.

Same boat as you, but I already read the thread about the server in MC last 2 weeks, iirc. I don't think it is a good startup for people to adopt Bitcoin though, considering that if I was like the 12 year old me and I encountered that server, I would think that criminals from the dark web had invaded my game already as those were my first thoughts in Bitcoin back in the days. It isn't that hard to learn about Java Programming in making mods in Minecraft, so putting up work in making a basic crypto modifications in-game shouldn't be that hard as well.

Blockchain and games are unique niches that have a strong market, when combined with the maximum it will definitely form a new niche that is stronger. By maximizing blockchain functionality in-game management, the use of cryptocurrency for various transactions such as purchasing items for these games, etc. will provide very good benefits.
And as you said, this hasn't been maximized because this is the beginning, I'm sure in the future blockchain and games will really be an extraordinary combination.

Interestingly, I had never seen blockchain implementations within games that didn't have a gambling focus in some way or another - I'll have to try this minecraft implementation, though it kinda falls in the gambling network, I like this idea better though.

Any more ideas of games in the blockchain that uses the blockchain more like a database than a mean of security for gambles?

The gaming industry has seen great improvement with the introduction of cryptocurrencies. I remember in one of the games provided by Enjin coin gamers had the opportunity to complete several levels to earn enjin coin and within that same platform liquidate the Enjin coin to BTC and withdraw. I hope the games listed by OP allows users to withdraw their funds and spend.

I don't agree with that, but in some other way it still depends.

It depends on the person, some people uses cryptocurrency to be used in game is for their own enjoyment so not all gamers who tend to pay with cryptocurrency are addicted. For your information, using real money in the game is already adoption since it enters gaming platforms. As time goes by, the number of gamers are continuously multiplying and most of it are men. If men really want to excel at gaming, they will really try to do anything and spend a lot of money, that's when being addicted came in. But for me, I'd rather play games that is free-to-play and just spend my bitcoin cryptocurrency in a more important thing in everyday lives just like a practical person.

It’s very good if the game is a game that is accepting Bitcoin as a payment method and using it as their own currency. Most of the games I see these days they don’t accept Bitcoin rather they have their own cryptocurrency or token that they use for that game, so it doesn’t make any sense.

There are already lots of cryptocurrencies and tokens in the market these days, so they should be making use of the ones we have, especially bitcoin, than creating more that will still end up not being useful. We should be more focused on getting people to accept the cryptocurrencies that are currently available to us.

Fits really well. Great actually.

With Paypal or other services that are alike, there are many problems and it includes privacy related.
More players don't want to have the trouble of signing up again and being pushed to give their details just so they could buy a premium item for their in game character.
I have played a lot of online games and I really hate that they changed the way premiums should be.
Before you just need to scratch a card and then input it at the game website.
Now, you will need another account for buying game premiums.
With bitcoin or other alts it could be prevented.

Better, they will know more on how to stash their money. I am in vote to maximize this.
Game developers should include this option.

Gaming is just for entertainment, everyone knows that but if you have a spare amount of money and you are stable about your state, then you have it. It is just that the consequence of being addicted in spending money in gaming is really a problem because people really don't know how to prevent being addicted.

The minecraft mod also looks great.

In my opinion these games that involve money are very close to gambling. There is already the issue with loot boxes, being banned in some countries because it is seen as gambling (you pay for the box, and you have a low chance on getting what you actually want so if you don't, too bad buy(bet) again!

I have no problems with adults, but p2w and kids can bring unintended consequences (such as gambling addiction).

Many "f2p" games out there are already centered on shops were you can buy things with real money, or you use real money to buy their "token" and then use that in their "shop". All they need to do is accept Bitcoin as well.

Really? Linage giving out BTC for every achievements done? I played Lineage  before but I got bored and that was way before MMORPG was the biggest hit in online games.

It's not so much that they don't care about money, but they'd put that money all back into gaming gear. I'm not a gamer myself but I pretty much lived with a few, and even in my current work, working with them, any money earned goes back into gaming. Now if Bitcoin helps them get there faster, easier, etc. then sure, but it doesn't. In-game currencies still work so much better for them.

I remember playing Linage and getting Bitcoin for in-game achievements. Then I'd spend it all on some gaming gear. Little did I know I'd cry in my bed on Dec 2017. Now I'm a proud hodler again tho ;D

Case in point here! Gamers, if they could earn Bitcoin, would go right back and spend it on gaming gear.

But that's really not a bad thing! I personally think it's the users and spenders who'll grow Bitcoin, if everyone held... not so much =)

"A lot" is a strong word here. I don't see companies like Steam, EA, Blizzard ever talking about blockchain technology or cryptocurrency. Steam even abandoned Bitcoin payments because the fees were too high. You are showing some obscure games that no one in gaming community ever heard about and say that it's a proof of blockchain's success, but it actually shows that blockchain and crypto are light years away from mainstream adoption in gaming.

New games all are created in Blackchain technology so we get very fast transactions, Hear lot of games giving good opportunity to earn crypto on playing games.

This is an amazing development in gaming industry.

I'm not a gamer but I do play some apps sometimes and hopefully, there could be a time that we can buy some upgrades with Bitcoin as one of the payment modes as I only use Google Pay or a debit/credit card most of the time in buying upgrades.

I am not a fan to games myself. Didn't grow up with that aspect in my life but I have been long enough in the blockchain to see real blockchain games struggle their entire existence. Still can't find Cryptokitties and Fcoin today  ::) ::) ::)

That is possible too, actually the author mentioned like a battle royale game that you earn bitcoin when you hit other players, and vice versa.

This new platform, gaming, is very useful for spreading bitcoin, and is actually one way we can invite gamers that are nonbitcoin users, surely they will be interested. Not only that, bitcoin could be mainly used as a payment method or the main currency used in online games. Not bad. I am sure gamers will agree to this one.

I am trying to find games posted by the OP especially that one related to Minecraft but my laptop can't handle it so I need to play it on computer shops, how about you guys?
Even before sea games happe Esports are already popular worldwide and this even having events in every parts of the world with high percentage of participants, prizes and expectants so why would whis only favor Philippines?when each people worldwide already playing this games?not unless they will accept that Philippines are dominating them in this field? So this is their losses because they are not competent in thosw games.

Well, we are talking about SEA games not the esports as a whole. It will favor the Philippines because they are the host of the said game, which means they will have more players, more medals and they will have a higher chance of winning it, and they did. It is not that other countries will be able to fund all of the players in all of that areas since they will just focus on sports they can win while on the other hand, the Philippines has a lot of players to choose from. Get it?

Honestly, I am very fond of gaming thus knowing that crypto acceptance in gaming industry are now gradually increasing makes me flattered. What I am looking for is that my favorite online games will adopt as well in these kind of payment the fact it is way more convenient over fiat. Also, I am the kind of person who don't want to use fiat in gaming hence crypto would be much perfect for me.
Honestly we are all gladly to know that the gaming industry are having a good time with the cryptocurrency as a fan also of games and also being a gamer is really good, knowing that the games are getting more awesome. Your favorite online games may adopt also cryptocurrency in terms of payment because as like as what you said it is more really convenient this cryptocurrency than fiat.
We are all hoping that the gaming industry will eventually adaptancy specially bitcoin and other coins for devolution of payment into their gaming industry.

That is possible too, actually the author mentioned like a battle royale game that you earn bitcoin when you hit other players, and vice versa.

This is a great idea for a game. However, often times PVP type games where the ones who are the ladder are the ones that get rewarded is a double-edged sword. And oftentimes they cause more detractors in the game than help. PvP leaderboard type of games causes some form of demotivation to people who are not in the ladder, they tend to quit because they know they don't have any chance of getting to the top anyway. On the pther hand, this type of game are usually the ones that breeds hackers. So just ensure that the mental state of your players are kept in check along with you code the game to avoid unfair advantages and you should be good.

I hope there could also be and MMORPG that will be made for crypto-games fans. Where the drops are not some kind of zenny or gold, but rather crypto currencies. I know it is hard but developers please get this done. Maybe you could put features of mining while playing, with minimum GPU requirements that can mine crypto currencies. If there are no people would do this, mark this post and after 10 years, maybe I will build a team to achieve this, it is one of my dreams, to make an MMORPG, I am a 3D artist where I create animated characters for animation videos, so I only need some other guys to complete my team.

Well, you're right. It's pretty easy to play games with cryptocurrencies nowadays. I think that there is more and more cryptocurrency gambling platforms on the internet, and moreover - more and more people is using them. I do it too, recently I've been using CryptoGamble (https://www.cryptogamble.com/) platform and this is pretty fun.

We all know that Cryptocurrency and Gaming industry fits well, these assets is already accelerating as there is an estimated 1million$ of transactions traded in these two industry in the past 7 days alone.

SatoshiQuest is a new mod in Minecraft that just hit the front page of Bitcoin subreddit. It is said by the creator that it give players a unique bitcoin wallet linked to their uuid in Minecraft.

Here's the link for more information about this news:
https://dailyhodl.com/2020/02/02/bitcoin-btc-treasure-hunt-launches-on-minecraft/

We also have Lightnight A Bitcoin-integrated battle royale game that is still under development that is close to a Fortnite clone.

They say that you could earn bitcoin by hitting other players and vice versa when other players hit you...the game balance is updating every time a player hits you or if you pick up a valuable item.

Also, some items in the game are worth bitcoin and can be pick up when other players are dead,
The game allows you to purchased using your bitcoin as a payment method,

Reference and game updates here:

I never thought that Bitcoin could be integrated into games mentioned above. It is really an exciting news and a hopeful one. If Bitcoin users are able to promote the use of Bitcoin through these apps/games, then, gamers and even non-gamers can be attracted. This can result to Bitcoin becoming known and used widespread by people. If they'd have an idea about how blockhain works through the games, they might as well grab the opportunity to get to know Bitcoin and thus, our population could multiply. As long as this moment will be closely monitored, examined, and developed, we can actually gain positive results.

I think the games that I posted in the thread already prove that the cryptocurrency and gaming community have chemistry together. Also, this games are trendy because it uses cryptocurrency as a currency in the game surely this idea could easily implemented some popular games like Fortnite, Dota 2 , LOL, etc. In this kind of game, cryptocurrency is still not used but possible as a payment method kind could easily be a great option to use since there are also a lot of gamers in the cryptocurrency community.

Is it worth it to play it if your goal is to earn a good amount of profit?
I have heard that those minecraft servers are shutting down the bitcoin mining feature because it's so easy to abuse and it would affect the life of those certain servers, so it's not worth your time to actually make it as a full time income as a gamer.

Or is it just for fun and have a small give aways of crypto?
If you are a gamer and want to earn "small" amount of money as a bonus? Then sure!
If you are looking for an easy job? Then this is not a place.

Gaming community is hundreds of times bigger than crypto community. Gaming companies don't have to appeal to crypto enthusiasts, because they are already paying for their products, and adding crypto support would barely improve it. Steam dropped Bitcoin support and they didn't see any loss of revenue as the result. The existing payments work well enough for everyone, so there's no chance gamers would be adopting crypto if it will be added to their games, they will stick to what they are familiar with.

Twitch removed cryptocurrency payment support on their site and Streamlabs also does the same. They removed it in 2019 where the price was really bad at that day and it could affect on their financial as the money is usually reduced as the price went down.

Well throughout all the years, and when I took a break from posting here in bitcointalk, I took the time on exploring games that are putting cryptocurrency within their game, whether if it is RPG, MOBA, SANDBOX, FPS, etc. I can say that cryptocurrency has been included throughout almost all of the games that I have played, MINECRAFT and BITCOIN is one of the things that I got addicted on, while playing the game I was thinking to myself on how proud I am to be one of the people who are to witness on how crypto has evolved through the years and at the same time witnessing the gaming industry evolving as well. And with THE SANDBOX which I have played before and knowing that they want cryptocurrency to be involved with their game which make me want to play it more! meanwhile Cryptovoxels is very much new to me, but with the game's name itself "Cryptovoxels" makes me very curious and excited on playing the game.

I believe gaming and crypto are such a great match and that it will be gaming that will drive mass crypto adoption. Crypto collectibles and tokens to represent in-game currencies are game changers and will make the transition to a "play to own" model in gaming. I'm working on two projects that are related to this, one is pirate battle game based on Ethereum where you can earn Ether destroying other player ships and will soon have crypto collectibles too:

https://etherthieves.com (https://etherthieves.com)

The other is this token and platforms for the Sim racing eSports community:

This must be very fun for those who like to play games like you. Can be an alternative channel for a hobby, as well as collecting cryptocurrency. This is a unique niche, right, get two pleasures at once. This is also a practical and maximum function in attracting user interest, cryptocurrency can be a reward, an exchange tool for purchasing items, etc. Like carrying real forms in virtual.

Cryptocurrency and the GAMBLING industry can be very suitable, but I am not very sure about the cryptocurrency and the game industry. More than 10 years since the creation of Bitcoin and a few years after most of the big altcoins were made, I can't see the game using cryptocurrency to buy and sell virtual game items to be really popular and successful. Congratulations on the Minecraft server that uses BTC and let's hope the Fortninte clone game will be launched successfully, but other than that the use of crypto is gaming is a good use case, but it's not the only use case. :)
It wasn't impossible mate, cryptocurrency development still on-going and it'll find great to have some merging moments which it thinks it is effective and could really attract additional market gain. It was 10 years since from the start and we can't decline these changes might happen as well and I believe also that many gaming industries would like to offer such a thing coz they'll find out that online games are on the trend and could be a way to give more excitement to the players and increase market demand they surely have to make it.

Wouldn't gambling fall in the category of gaming? You play games on a casino and if you get lucky you win coins. Slots, minesweeper, dice, poker etc are all games that people play to enjoy. For an extra adrenaline rush, they bet while playing those games. Most of the places consider both online gambling and gaming as the same thing.

Well, the gaming industry will influence the cryptocurrency adoption. For example, Samsung is at the edge of introducing blockchain game app to its mobile App starting from Galaxy 10 upward which will expose blockchain technology to millions of users across the globe. Interestingly, the reward will be on the native token of the blockchain projects that have this mobile App integrated.

when playing games so they are on different aspect. When in talks on collaborating crypto in both industries then we are currently seeing that gambling is somewhat on the lead yet its already being used on gambling companies right now but for gaming it isnt really that rampant nor on big numbers but somewhat its already starting to be recognized.

Actually, there is but it's a scam/very poor quality ;D. If you tried Telegram before then you will understand. There are channels there where you can olay and earn crypto (particularly btc and eth) at the same time andmost of them are simulation type of game. For example, you have an animal with equivalent hashrate power then as you are leveling the hashrate of it also increases. You can also invest to make your hashrate bigger thus getting profits faster which you can later convert into real btc ;D. That was so ridiculous but got a good concept tho. If bigger and legit gaming companies will develop a better game prior to the concept then much better. Now the only question is where they will get the funds ;D.

The idea of cryptocurrency and blockchain working together with the gaming industry a good one, but I don’t really like the games you have listed here. I’m a kind of person that likes playing games with higher graphics, and Minecraft is not my kind of game, I have not even played it for once, I see people playing and I just don’t like it.

I’m more into action and sports console games with great graphics, just like the Insomniac Spiderman on PS4, or FIFA20 and other games that are like that. So what I’m trying to say is that they should be looking into creating games with such graphics. If they only stick to all these children games they wouldn’t get real gamers on their platform, and moreover these games won’t even earn you much playing them, they are similar to faucets 8).

Not sure about in-game items but we can easily buy and sell gaming accounts with the help of bitcoins as most of the gaming buy-sell accounts platforms accepts bitcoins or similar payment methods. I might agree with that but at this moment this is are one just one of the available games that support cryptocurrency. Most of the games listed are made by cryptocurrency companies, not by popular gaming companies.

I'm thinking higher graphics games could also be great since this is where real gamers are popular but this is only going to be available if a certain company or a video game company is going to support the cryptocurrency or use it.

Minercraft is designed that way, players are used to their graphics already but its good to see they supported BTC.

There are several games supporting crypto in EOS platform, there are list of it on their list of dapps mostly for phones where the players are paid with EOS. I have never played any of them but I can see in the dappsradar that there are thousands of gamers playing them.

I just see this article where Call of Duty Launched a game with virtual currency in it, it is not clear if the game is a cryptocurrency but this could be a game that you are looking for with high graphics game.

This is true. Online gaming is already a multi-billion dollar industry. I think gamers can easily adopt the crypto usage. Because the game itself is already complex in some way, so dealing with crypto should be an easy peasy task for them. If crypto will be a part of their day to day game life, I think we will be heading to a much wider adoption in crypto.

I'm not very familiar with this game it seems like it was just developed the last year 2019. And I don't really hear a lot about it but I would definitely check it out and hopefully, I could add it in the list of games and cryptocurrency. Looking at the game I don't really like this kind of fight style game which you are just clicking which attack you are going to use just like a pokemon thing but it really does have some potential in it.

In my opinion, this is not going to be some kind of popular cryptocurrency game that seems like in the title already where crypto is its main purpose, not gaming but it was just my opinion.

I'm adding this :

Since it is related to gaming and cryptocurrency, not totally a game but a third party website but still a great option to have in CS:GO.

You can now trade Your Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items for Bitcoin Cash, using the Bitcoin.com Local as an escrow.

here at Link Here (https://local.bitcoin.com/steam/Buy)

You could connect your steam account to the bitcoin.com local and go and trade CS:Go items in the steam inventory.

May be it's just me alone (I mean, thinking the way I do now), that this Coronavirus pandemic will further bring more revenue and attention to the gaming projects as restrictions have put more people at home. More will indulge online and video games at this time to kill time - just as we expect the global rate of pregnant women to rise too. My only worry is for scammers not to exploit this window to create fraudulent and sham projects to dupe people of their hard earned cash at this time.

i think all of us have the same thoughts and thinking about the effect of this Virus to the gambling world.

people now has no option to gamble either play with friends secretly in their houses or play online using Fiat or cryptocurrency.

Quarantine will bring revenue to all sites of gambling that presented in this forum because those casino players that holds crypto is now having no choice but to spend their crypto and time playing here.

I am not aware that Minecraft is now using cryptocurrency into their system. I am not a Minecraft player but i have played it a couple of times. It is on a mobile phone or in a desktop? I am just curious because if it is possible in Minecraft it is also possible in some other games. Because i also play games but not Minecraft and for me it is convenient for me to include bitcoins in their platforms since it is much easier to have a bitcoin wallet rather than having credit card. It takes a lot of validications and me personally i do not have credit cards yet so paying games or other online necessities using bitcoinwl would've been nice. I hope some game owners or even google noticed this changes and applied it to their system. I mean it's a great idea.

We all know that Cryptocurrency and Gaming industry fits well, these assets is already accelerating as there is an estimated 1million$ of transactions traded in these two industry in the past 7 days alone.

SatoshiQuest is a new mod in Minecraft that just hit the front page of Bitcoin subreddit. It is said by the creator that it give players a unique bitcoin wallet linked to their uuid in Minecraft.

Here's the link for more information about this news:

We also have Lightnight A Bitcoin-integrated battle royale game that is still under development that is close to a Fortnite clone.

They say that you could earn bitcoin by hitting other players and vice versa when other players hit you...the game balance is updating every time a player hits you or if you pick up a valuable item.

Also, some items in the game are worth bitcoin and can be pick up when other players are dead,
The game allows you to purchased using your bitcoin as a payment method,

This is actually a nice idea - to infuse a game with blockhain technology and we know it is possible. Almost everyone plays something on their phone and in their computer so maybe, bumping into a game with blockchain can let them enter the crypto world. Self education about cryptocurrency and blockchain is easy and this could create and attract more users if spread not only by word of mouth but through digital platforms.

Atleast you've enjoyed that mouse and last for many years. Don't regret, people like you are lucky enough to earned so much BTC at start but those people who hold it for long term are the luckiest.
I don’t play video games very often, but my boyfriend adores this activity. Sometimes I just play minecraft and it’s really cool that by playing the game you can earn Bitcoins. I play and thereby make money, it's exciting!

That is actually the perks with games integrated with crypto. Most of them are enjoying to the point that they won't know the long hours that they are spending with this activity. Gaming industry is really a good industry to inject crypto. In some way, some of the games have their own currencies already. So just switching it to bitcoin or other alts won't do any big difference. The difference is that they can convert it to their fiat, so in the process they are earning money instead of just spending money on it. Which is a very attractive feature for those gamers.

Exactly, because the world of the gaming industry has been evolved immensely over how many years and for sure many gamers also want to hunt Bitcoin while playing or especially when it comes to online transactions and purchases using cryptocurrency. In the gaming industry also very common that has micropayments and most likely Bitcoin can do micropayments in the form of a small amount of money. It's really a great help to boost the popularity, particularly to Bitcoin, not only for gamers and also in the investors as well.

I don’t play video games very often, but my boyfriend adores this activity. Sometimes I just play minecraft and it’s really cool that by playing the game you can earn Bitcoins. I play and thereby make money, it's exciting!

I am not "sold" enough with Lightnite. As much as I'm a hardcore gamer myself, the concept really sucks. You know why? If you're not good enough to play a battle royale game, you will lose your Bitcoin.

The more these players (especially newbies) will lose, the numbers would dip in terms of active players in the server. It's just fine if I play Lightnite in non-Bitcoin integrated mode, but it won't compete very well with Fortnite, PubG and Rules of Survival.

A video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArjQKjiScXU) from BLOCKTV NEWS really makes sense about being morons when we buy Lightnite.

Ain't gonna waste my $20 for that game. Just my two sats.

To be honest, I just found out about this and really surprised me as a gamer. This is very good advancement between cryptocurrency and gaming where possible to earn coins while playing games
I recently tried this method of gaming, but the problem I faced was that the amount that was paid for the time invested in the game was too low and also the features were pretty limited but this wouldn't be the same in the future with all the developments happening and cryptocurrencies integrating with many other businesses. Also in the case of Battle Royale games there is a high risk of loosing your money as it depends on luck a lot along with the skills, but luck is what matters the most in those games.

I agree with you, the gaming industry is a sector that is currently adopting the use of cryptocurrency and blockchain to improve their operational framework for a better immersive experience and reward distribution. There are alot of games on the EOS blockchain using cryptocurrency to reward gamers when ever they play, we have quite a number of games on ethereum blockchain too following the footsteps of cryptokitty

It is good that crypto currencies are advancing to the gaming indistry but I don't think people would be playing it unless they make it a decent game. There are a lot of people that are actually earning money by playing, we call them esports professionals and streamers, we also have pilots where people pay them to play their accounts and maybe boost their rank. I know that everyone can't do streaming and becoming a pro, what I am saying here is that the game should be also entertaining and somewhat addictive.

Those games that offer bitcoin/crypto as a reward while playing usually don't last long or don't usually get more players, why? Because most of the gamers now, pro or not usually do plays a game that has good graphics, storyline, gameplay, most of them are on MOBA type, FPS, and etc.

If blockchain/game developers can create something like this with mentioned, even it's not that unique, where you can use bitcoin to buy in-game items or etc is good and earning even just penny while playing is better.

on what are the main benefits on using up this tech which do really improves even more not only in terms of payment aspect but in other fields as well.

We have seen several games now that do exist with crypto which i can say that it do really give that different experience.

I feel you, bruh. Had my own pizza moment after spending leftover BTC from buying substances

I am sure that someday a game based on cryptocurrency will be released. But need big AAA project, because there are already games on the market and all of them are bad.

No one can beat the fact that you're earning BTC and at the same time having fun playing games.

Yeah, additional to it that most of the gamblers nowadays are gamers. They want to earn money in the way they can bet to their favorite teams and at some point, it's a support.

So the integration of bitcoin to gaming platforms will definitely hit the market but some aren't really capable of it like steam, who don't like its volatility.
The gaming industry is very huge now the same as cryptocurrency so it'll be a good match.

Cryptographic forms of money and the GAMBLING business can fit very well, but I'm not entirely certain about digital currencies and the gaming industry.More than a long time since the formation of Bitcoin and quite a long while after most enormous altcoins were created,I can't see a game utilizing cryptographic forms of money to purchase and offer virtual game things to be extremely famous and successful.Congratulations about the Minecraft server that utilizes BTC and we should trust that the Fortninte clone game will dispatch successfully, but those aren't unique concepts.Copying Minecraft and Fortnite isn't enough. We need to think of a one of a kind crypto game idea that can't be exploited, with a virtual game thing commercial center that can't get controlled.

As a fan of gaming and cryptocurrency, seeing the development of the gaming industry that is increasingly combined with Bitcoin,
I am very happy. Because that way the possibility of mass adoption of transactions with Bitcoin becomes a reality. Then the thing
that interests me the most, Enables participants to treasure hunt for Bitcoin in some games. Hopefully in the future more and more
games will adopt Bitcoin.

I'm not so sure about cryptocurrencies and the gaming industry.
Why? The ability to earn cryptocurrencies while playing and pay the price immediately  would pull in new users  who have  an axe to grind with the games be it  RPG, strategies, racing or something else. For the game industry it would open the new monetization roads while for cryptos it would attract newcomers into the field.
Agree, and it's a good idea, imagine that you're just playing an RPG game and grinding to get BTC? In that part, people will adopt the use of cryptocurrency and they will be curious on how does cryptocurrency works. I hope that they create a game that has a lot of features like in the "Real Player One" movie and the prize is bitcoin. Definitely, there will be a lot of gamers will be interested in that, it's a win-win situation for the cryptocurrency and gaming community, many will like it.

It is possible! Are there no present games right now who has a prize of btc? Its just so interesting and I can't believe we don't have it right now? I just think it is already happening. Even me who seldom plays will try to learn that game for it. It will be a blast if the game is really a good one, a quality high graphics game which is enjoyable and on the level of esports game right now.

I just think players who didn't even use crypto will learn how to be in the industry because of it. I'm sure game developers can think of ways they can earn crypto too from their players. For example are items that can only be bought in crypto too.

Actually, there's a lot of games that reward BTC but those are just simple games. I'm also looking forward for game developers to make some gain that has interesting graphics, good mechanics, and lastly, rewards BTC. The gaming industry is also getting bigger, same with the cryptocurrency that many people also adopt the use of it so it's a good move if they made one.

Imagine that people will just play games and having fun with your friends will get you a BTC that can be used for your own good. It's cool tho.

Gaming industry collaboration with cryptocurrency will produce something big, because fans of games will start adopting Bitcoin.
Moreover, the situation of the pandemic corona as it is now forcing some people to stay at home, because of the quarantine applied
by the government. So the gaming industry will be increasingly popular, many people who play games for entertainment and get rid
of boredom. But if the games can produce Bitcoin at the same time will certainly attract the interest of many people.

For me, this is a very strange combination, I do not think that in reality projects with this combination can be quite profitable.

Obviously they will find a way to make that happen, for them to get profit from it.

Either way, if they will not be able to maintain and develop the game more, it will die eventually. This is not strange, if you are watching some movies that includes games and VRs where you earn while you play, you will be able to realize that it is a good thing since we are slowly getting to the point where games are being part of someone's life.

This will go to a point where players are logging to their accounts not just to have fun but to earn some money or in this case, cryptocurrencies.

They will use it, earn it, and eventually it will be a part of their lives too.

A not so good game will only get old crypto users to play, but a fantastic game will get non crypto users to know and be informed about cryptocurrency by playing. And a nice way to know crypto is by using it. I just wish there will be a high end solid game that will use crypto inside it.

It would be easy for them as their current currency has been for many years used in the same way cryptocurrency is. You were able to buy things on dark web with L$ or convert them back to USD. There were people who worked full time earning them, just like freelancers working for Bitcoin.

The gaming industry is one of the industries that have really adopted to this amazing technology. It still has a long way to go though as many of the big gaming companies are reluctant to join this new trend. Hopefully, we can see one of these companies join to increase the marketcap of the blockchain gaming industry.

I really wish they would hurry up. Imagine building a castle in-game and that castle has value. You could even play for free by using what you earn in the game to pay for the game. There is so much you can do. One thing I wonder why they do not do more is in-game advertising. For online games. As in a poster of your company on the wall of a game or on the scoreboard or wherever. Maybe this virus will bring out more creative ways to earn money? We going to have to because we need to do something.

The development of blockchain technology for games has a pretty good concept as purchasing items that use the cryptocurrency created, this is another option from buying using fiat which is sometimes a little complicated. Moreover, game projects that combine blockchain / smart contract technology in the ICOS trend are quite a lot. And what's more, this technology needs more development to optimize its usability. I have several SAND even though I haven't used them yet because I don't have one that I need.

i never have a good luck with games base cryptos. But using bitcoin to mine in minecraft is definitely a good ideas to mass adoption for their uses so everybody that start playing the game will know about bitcoin for sure. Gonna make a research about this as myself a gamer that love something that related to cryptos. If only they can make an android base game that earn bitcoin also that would be great.
minecraft has a huge number of gamers but there are that arent a fan of this game due to its bad graphics and im one of it but if they say that this game has an option to mine a real crypto well i wont hesitate to play this game again and i will disregard the graphics completely as long as i can earn a crypto better than any other platform . there are games on the google playstore for android that are related to bitcoin but the earning potential is slow .

Cryptocurrency and gaming seems to have a nice bond like that of crypto and gambling.

This would be a nice form of new entertainment while earning on the side if the game has some sort of cryptocurrency prize for the gamer if he won or find along the way while playing the said games to compensate the player. It would also be nice if the industry would accept crypto as a mode of payment since most transactions are done digitally, it would be easier to pay directly without the hassle of converting it into fiat and putting in your bank accounts.

I just hope they would produce more game concepts and visuals that are one of a kind. Something that would make us stand out and easily distinguishable to the gaming industry. May these kind of games be successful and strive not only in the beginning of release like the older games.

Definitely a good pair, that's why I believe that crypto casinos are one of the biggest contributors for adoption.

Whatever we think about gambling, prize, promotion, etc. we might win but in general, crypto casinos will still remain profitable.
If we consider gambling as an entertainment, then it is surely not gonna be a problem in our life as we wouldn't aim to pursue something we don't have an edge.

Well, the gaming industry is fluorishing for a couple of years now and new names in the community are also being known, not just known since most of them are also being millionaires out of these games or platforms. Maybe we can reference SAO II(GGO arc), an anime about virtual world where they can take their out of that game and use it in the real life. That would really work though IMO there are a lot of things still to consider.

With gaming being a common hobby for many of the young adults and cryptocurrency seemingly easy to grasp, it then makes sense. This sort of middle ground is mostly made when developers tokenise in-game assets and integrate them into the blockchain network.

With some of the latest games, players can now use cryptocurrency as an in-game currency. This then means that one can use say, Bitcoin to use trade, buy, and sell tokenized weapons or so.

It would really be subjective and also its true that majority wouldnt bother about the graphics as long they can possibly able to make money so it wont really be that much of an issue.
Even myself dont like minecraft in the first place due to graphic because ive been a MMO user for almost 15 years and im a really gamer which do really matter on graphic and effects
and if i do find out not to be appealing then i do simply skip it out but if theres a money making opportunity then who the hell will really ignore such stuff.

Basically everyone out there as a gambler want to gamble without disclosure of identity so Bitcoin coming into the gaming industry will make it more attractive than other industries. The combination of the two industry will be a good one for gamblers, we have seen thousands who gamble on platforms with cryptocurrencies payment just to safe their identities.

I don't like Minecraft but Lightnite battle royal game attracted my attention. It seems that it could be a fun game. Lightning Network looks nice on the game. These kind of games can help more people get curious and learn about Bitcoin and its technology.

Blockchain has been playing a huge role in the world of gaming to create transparency within the ecosystem. One of the issues that we have for games integrated in blockchain are the fees. Considering that DeFi has been on a roll, it creates a huge mess for Ethereum's gas fees. In my own opinion, it's a major disadvantage for Ethereum-based blockchain games when the network is so congested that forces us to pay high gas fees.

It's like when we want to buy some monsters, cards, items, etc., using the Ethereum blockchain, the gas fees sometimes are much higher than the actual price of the item we want to buy. It needs a blockchain that could just maintain low fees and not getting congested in an uncontrollable way. Just saying.
