Hi, I have a question if Google will have its own digital currency?it will beast bitcoin or not?

I think that it will beat Bitcoin easily! Because Google controls the whole world of the Internet! And it is very famous among the people all over the world. It can market its currency easily.
This is my opinion! What is yours?

It is called Google Pay, Google Play Credits...

Bitcoin has a different proposal

It is not really a currency actually. It is a payment method or something like that. The author is asking what if it will have its own currency like bitcoin.

We all know that Google can do that(having their own cryptocurrency), knowing how famous it is and obviously successful nowadays. So if ever they will have, I am sure that will be a successful one, and I think many users will switch to it.

google will never touch that area i think about this decade, since it will get attention like LIBRA which brought by Facebook but get stalled since US as nation asking what purpose they have when building this project. Such a thing can happen too with google if they tried to build the same project. That's why my guess they didn't take this cryptocurrency as their next roadmap as far as i see at this decade.

In terms of market cap, daily transactions, usability etc it would beat Bitcoin easily.

However, privacy is the key point of the currency. If it's centralized and has privacy issues, Bitcoin can't be beaten. And I don't think a currency created by Google would offer us the same freedom Bitcoin offers. It's Google, after all. But the project might fail as well as Facebook's Libra did.

We all know that the one of the fastest-growing currency today is with the use of cryptocurrency and now many people make investment on it and tries to make more money with the use of crypto and we all know that some of the largest company today support with the use of crypto like the Microsoft and more they are now supporting the bitcoin and also they release a bitcoin miner to their platform too. For now, I think Google does not support the other coin today because with the partnership to Facebook they are now releasing their very own coin and that is Libra and uses now to make improvement and use in the future as cryptocurrency payment.

They could create some altcoin/token,but I don't see any benefit for them going this.
Google currently accepts debit/credit card payments,which is more than enough for them.
They could compete with Facebook's Libra project,but Libra is a dead project from the beginning and the US government+FED won't allow Libra to be launched.At this point,creating a "googlecoin" would be totally pointless for Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
Will a Google cryptocurrency beat bitcoin?Well,I guess it might beat ethereum and ripple,but I'm not sure about Bitcoin.

@Ethereums, google will never wait his time focusing on a niche outside it's own nichemarket because it will require a huge lot of capital,human effort and time constrain from their end. I know they've made previous mistake in the past by launching a competitive social media network  (google plus) against fb today, what is happening google plus?

In regard's to uncle FB, he and his team seems to be jack of all trade that jack to any direction.
For now, everything seems promising but, let's watch out. What has social media (facebook) got to do with a virtual currency(libra)

Or what is the connection b/w people who choose to socialize and people who prefer's be anonymous by using virtual currency.

Maybe, i'm the only person who seems to get this wrong.

It will not surprise me if one day google will release its very own cryptocurrency but surely it will not be enough to beat bitcoin in terms of dominance and price in today's cryptocurrency market, even Libra coin which gotten really hyped ended up as a trash project.
Google pay/credits are not even a currency. Google pay and Google Play credits are just payment methods/processors, not a currency it serves as a gateway so that you can buy products from different apps from the play store.

It will not and probably they will not create their own cryptocurrency because it will be useless. What will be the use of that coin may I ask?? Payment process again? They already have so no need. If they will come up with a good use of their coin then PROBABLY they will create one.

Facebook doesn't control the social media world but it is the most widely used social media platform and yet there coin LIBRA have many flaws and ended up not to be created. Probably same goes with Google too. We know that when an altcoin makes an partnership with google, prices will rise up like what Hedera Hashgraph. The price of HBAR skyrocketed in an instant when they posted a partnership with google. Although having a partnership with google is good for altcoins, creating their own one isn't needed right now.

Indeed, Google is one of the biggest companies in today's generation. No doubt about it! However, I don't think even his name could ever beat bitcoin. First, bitcoin was a pioneer in its field; its dominance in the market is incomparable thus I think even a super hype new coin like Google will make in the future (if ever) will not work out. Second, if FB's Libra which is also came from a big company, don't succeed then we chances for Google to succeed may be questionable too ;D.

Who knows maybe yes, maybe no, but I do not think that being widely use on the internet means success on every venture they will create.  Remember google plus?  They tend to create it to compete with FB but it failed miserably.  Probably the same thing will happen if they create their own cryptocurrency.  Besides, it needs a lot of money to start one and I am sure, google knows the case of Libra of FB, and probably they will not allow this kind of issue or problem in their company.  

Mate, there are speculations that Google is a step ahead to enter crypto currency, however is no confirmed news on this. Crypto is a billion dollar market where already a lot of big companies have jumped on this. And yes if Google step in to crypto I am sure it can be one of the top coin to focus on investment due to its popularity in the entire world it can easily gain public trust which will boost them to rock in crypto market.

Control? I dont think so. They maybe a famous project but it doesnt expert on this arena. Yeah most famous project such as Libra has been into a lot of issues and if ever Google created their own cryptocurrency they may be on the same boat with them.

First of all, you have to look facebook (as have mentioned above) when they try to make their own cryptocurrency, yeah they are failed to do that.

Ok lets say if google have their own cryptocurrency, will it beat bitcoin? Is that your concern? I will say no. Bitcoin will always have a high price instead of google coin.

Take a look when facebook tried to launch libra coin, how with bitcoin price movement? Bitcoin price met increased price for almost $9.000. As you may remember bitcoin price at that time was $3500 and up to around $13.000. That mean, it will be same if google create their own cryptocurrency.

Google is very popular the same with Facebook that is planning to launch it's own currency which is Libra but their launch was being halted by US government.

If Google will create it's own currency, the acceptance will surely be there especially those people who are earning in Google. But in crypto society, the acceptance will always depend on what type of currencies will the google to create. If it is a stable coin then there is a very little chance that it can beat bitcoin because big investors will surely remain to bitcoin and will not shift to Google currency.

They are good with regard to complying with what the laws of the government is to the scope of their technologies, adopting a cryptocurrency or basically creating their own cryptocurrency will just make them go back to zero in terms of that aspect of technology as they need to conform first to what the government should allow them to operate.

With the payment systems they've already established, I don't think are still in need to create their own crypto after all.

Iif they ever thought of having their own coin, it will certainly be a coin for the elite that is highly centralized and be controlled by a few, Google is a huge company and i feel that unlike Facebook they will have the necessary approval to lunch the project, but will probably face few opposition from btc fans all over, but i don't think it can be a challenge to btc.

The success of a project (digital currency here) isn't determined on the value, it's following its adoption, volume, etc. In terms of marketing and awareness, we can't deny a currency developed by Google will have more promotion than Bitcoin has ever got.


Why only for the elite, there is no use to create a cryptocurrency only for a few people, this isn't even viable and would be better to create a private bank or payment processor, whatever.
Such a project would require a banking license to be able to operate and governments will never provide it (the same problem Facebook finally realized). Otherwise why a company like Google would get it and not a small company?

Although they can have more influence than that facebook but you know there are still some third-party payment services providers that allow people using google services to get paid through them. E.g. Paypal. Incase so many companies are not willing to associate themselves with the google coin just as some company did not support Libra, I think the impact will also be big and this is very significant because of the google coin might crumble compare to bitcoin that is already dominating the crypto space before.

Why do you think it is a currency? They only integrate payments into their apps, and they use the entire currency present in the world to pay depending on the location of each country. You seem to have confused the currency and payment applications.

I do not think that google will jump into the crypto market space as they very well know the regulatory pressure Facebook is getting when they planned to enter the market and as long as the regulators are giving them a hard time to come up with their private currency they will not spend their time on on.
Even if a private company comes up with a centralized coin, i will avoid them as i do not want them to have my records registered and have a control over my finance.

Maybe in my opinion, google have their own world and crypto have their own world too. If google make crypto, it not easily replace bitcoin since we know a lot of people already support bitcoin. Although google make cryptocurrency and can make it used by a lot of people, it will always be altcoins.

Just look at what happened to LIBRA do you think Bitcoin would be beaten down to something like that?
Facebook is a pretty famous to the people too but they didn't even leave a great impression on crypto.

But to be honest I think they would beat the Bitcoin in some ways but they could never replace it as being the King of crypto.

While the world uses a lot of Google's services and devices, it's ironic that a ton of people still distrust how Google works.

There's a huge difference between supporting Google for what it does and supporting Google and what it provides. While we may be consuming a lot of their services, devices and applications, that doesn't necessarily mean that we will support them in everything that they do. Mind you, they collect data like crazy even in your sleep, or even when just trying to browse something on their search engine, you're automatically subject to Google's data snooping.

For cryptocurrency, before they could lay the red carpet for such, a lot of oppositions would arise, especially from the ranks of the US and the EU governments. Not that I'm saying that it's impossible, it's just that it will be hard for them to launch one without having to explain why they do such. Not to mention that even if it gets launched, the coin would be centralized, so there's no way it would get a ton of support from a community that has seen the wonders of decentralization.

Google having its own cryptocurrency is inconsequential because they have different protocols and that of Bitcoin protocols are far better than them own. Google has their gateway payment method which they use google pay and can't be compare to bitcoin. Libra coins was speculated to have more chances to defeat Bitcoin, what has happened so far with Libra?  :D Bitcoin is the beast that can consume any other shitcoins.

First Google Currency which came in my mind is google's own google play credits. But if we talk about a "real" Google Cryptocurrency then I would say that it could end up like Libra. Bad reputation, Governments getting mad etc. Google will probably wait until the Libra topic is sort out and see what happens with it.

You can buy old account with Facebook friends and posts, but you can't buy an account with real activity and interactions, so you would now with who you're dealing with, and you now that you can always ask for a chargeback and bet on the reputation of that person.

Agreed. Bitcoin offers decentralization and pseudo-anonymity which 'crypto' projects like Libra cannot offer. The question is, do people really care about privacy and stuff? Would the majority actually value it over the stability of such solid companies like Facebook or Google can offer? I don't think they will. However, perhaps these people won't use these such coins either. Being Google does not guarantee to be successful at everything. They've failed in making a social network (maybe you remember Google account circles lol) and an OS, so they might fail with offering a centralized digital cryptographic currency as well.

I think some people that are mentioning G–Pay are wrong. G Pay is not a wallet like PayPal, I think it’s kind of a payment gateway that is used in managing funds transfer. When you create your G pay account you will have to link your cards, the money is not saved in your G Pay but remains in your bank account.

When you want to make payment the money is debited from your bank account through the debit card you have linked and sent to the receiver, unlike PayPal that is a wallet and the money is stored in your wallet and also debited directly from there. So there’s a difference. And nobody knows whether they are interested in creating a cryptocurrency or not, Facebook tried and it wasn’t a success.

Google controls the internet? Google is not World Wide Web and google doesn't create the internet, its true that if google has a digital currency it will be put to good use but I doubt it will be decentralized, Google wants control and that is where the real problem will be

I would hate it if they'll make one. But Unfortunately I know for sure it can beat the bitcoin if Lightning network won't make it easy to pay with.

Well as you said that it was only your opinion. but I'm sure if that were realized and google will enter into the cryptocurrency industry it will be considered as a major Bitcoin competitor the same as other Altcoins too, but in terms of who will be the best, I think that title would remain to Bitcoin because it was the pioneering cryptocurrency thats why it has huge user base compare to others thats what I think.

We still have to see how Facebook coin performs in the market, because beFore Google launches it's own Cryptocurrency it will have to deal with regulation first and if they will be allow by SEC first before they can launch their own, they will also subjected to senate inquiry and have to convince these lawmakers to allow them to launch

Indeed and bitcoin have already establish its trust with people and we have seen the nature and patterns of bitcoin so it pretty sure if google will create its own cryptocurrency it would not beat bitcoin, just because a crypto was made by a major tech company doesn't mean it will be greater than the ones we already have. Cryptocurrency is different from the other field so if you are strong in one side may not be strong on the other and will need time to be trusted just like how bitcoin have experienced since it was created.

Yes and they also have to follow the rules being the biggest company on the planet and making their own crypto would probably be the last thought in their mind and talking of taking over bitcoins, no crypto would ever be able to take over bitcoins as long as bitcoin is there because these alts are known bywhats their value in bitcoins. IMO does not, because what I observed is that Google is very compliant with the regulations of a country in the world and also the Google company maintains user convenience with the foundation of a regulation. if indeed Google will make its own currency, it might make a centralized currency and of course it is no different from a central bank, paypal, or the like. it's true that google marketing it is very easy, because it's already known in all corners of the world and will there be support by people around the world?

This kind of digital currency service and blockchain are quite different. Google has several service for payment system and this system isn't made for blockchain purpose. Google couldn't make it for their own country restricted. Popular website or something shouldn't interest on any blockchain but only can support it.

But if they make the crypto currency a Rumor about Google that hates Bitcoin seems to be interesting and will be undisputed, it's interesting to follow if it's true. But they should also have a license as did Libra

I dont think so, facebook launches their own cryptocurrency and the impact was huge there are problems they are facing right now. But even though they will launch, they will never defeat bitcoin in terms of popularity of usage. Even if google created their own, they will not defeat bitcoin so easily. The one thing people wants with bitcoin that other cryptocurrency doesnt have is a real decentralized model. People already learn, they dont want a single entity to rule the world. And to take note that the transparency between transaction was there. And the most important thing is the fair distribution, other cryptocurrency always have a premine for the team.

Well, it all depends what they want to do with their coin if they ever create it. They are making literally billions of dollars in profit so it would be a bit weird for them to start accepting their own money, if everyone pays them google coin or something, where could they sell them? If they sell it to people who will in return pay them for their services, shouldn't they instead just do exactly that by removing the middle man by doing it literally directly?

So, it wouldn't really work for them for the sole reason that they are already good. Coin creation is usually for people who want money, the startups of the world who are too lazy to go out there and get financial support for angel investors, that is why google won't make any new coin for themselves. However they could potentially create a stablecoin if they want to, that might work.

What you are talking about is perhaps not feasible. Why does Google need its own cryptocurrency, because they already have their own shares.
Cryptocurrency will only be speculatively used to change Google stock price quotes.
Why should a company risk its reputation and its line on the stock market by issuing a coin that will be subject to all the dynamic manipulations of the crypto market.

There are something happen as its still not clear because few rumours they are going to work on their own cryptocurrency like Libra and few others believe google is working on blockchain and Ethereum for something different we have to wait for this because recently they stop working with metamask as this is cryptowallet and they are working on some app which will work as wallet as well in this all discussion we can say something new is happening in google.

I doubt if google will ever opt to create a cryptocurrency due to the volatility nataure of cryptocurrency. Like to certain extent, google already controls the internet what more could they want? A crypto downtrend causing their token to dump can do lots damage to the brand than what ever good might comes from owing a crypto coin. But if eventually they decided to own one,  i doubt if there will be limits to the amount of money they can raise,  let's say x1000 what telegram raised. It will instill trust in the crypto market and I'm sure it will easily bring a bull run around

Yes. It would beat Bitcoin but not for long term. Since Google has users all over the world and a dominant player of online marketing, it can influence its own crypto prices.
But there are two questions. Is Google having capability building cryptocurrency like Bitcoin? And if yes, will it launch it?

I think in terms of adoption, a lot of people will probably patronize google's created crypto if ever because of their great network and power. However, just like libra it will face again problems with the law that is why if ever they will create a crypto they will surely improve it first so that for the time it will lauch, it will surely be successful.

Why everyone thinks to beat bitcoin, this coin is probably much better, etc. why is that? Bitcoin is the king no one could beat that, Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency ever created. It has community support and trusts no one could beat that. Technically maybe some altcoin could beat bitcoin in terms of speed, scalability but bitcoin has earned its name. If google will make its own currency maybe the effect is like Facebook libra but I guess it is still in a developing stage.

It caused by giant tech has a lot of resources. as far as i know, if facebook has already started a new project to replace libra but libra is still alive and that will come in the future without ETA. This has already announced before. It looks like giant tech started to consider crypto as a potential market too.

If facebook can Make thier own crypto currency i am sure more of the popular social media will follow and will also create thier own.
Since they can make a free money having its own crypto other than that it will be more easier to people to deposit / transfer money while using the platform for ads or any thing that can use to pay thier own crypto.

If google find out that crypto currency is big help for them they will make a move and will use this in thier platform since it is really usable compared to gplay credits that they have now.

I think it is impossible for Google to beat bitcoin for being the number one cryptocurrency, even Google is all oger the internet because a lot of people will still be loyal in bitcoin and will continue to buy bitcoin more than other cryptocurrencies. Also, i don't think Google has an interest to create their cryptocurrency because they are not that infavor in crypto, that is why they delete crypto related videos in YouTube last month of January.

I don't think so, if google owns a cryptocurrency, it's certainly a centralized currency, and people won't like it. I think that is the common weakness of the giants in the world of cryptocurrencies.

There is no question that if Google launches it's own cryptocurrency then it's gonna be centralized.
Google has created so many products and services over the years and we can see that most of it's products needs Google's support to function properly.
So even if Google has it's own cryptocurrency, it will keep it Centralized in order to fetch more data from it's users and keep tracking them to the eternity.

The one who owns the right information will always stay ahead in the race. Google owns the right info and a pretty significant part of the services we're using are provided by them.

There's no point in creating a decentralized coin when you can create a centralized one and store even more information about your customers than ever before. This is how they've been feeding themselves for so long, they're just going to continue.

But a Google coin would probably be advertised as decentralized one way or another, creating a fake decentralization aura around it. Just like that Blockchain Messenger on Android made me believe for weeks, until I read more about it, that all messages are stored in the blockchain and it's fully decentralized..

I dont think that US gov will be happy about it. Situation will be the same as for libra

In my opinion and based on Google's desire analysis about crypto it could happen related to digital assets, even now Google is already using digital assets on the Google Play platform, it might be progressive little by little, so that the wider community understands the importance of digital assets and future development

Absolutely agree with you, If they overcome legal issues and create a cryptocurrency for themselves, it certainly will be a centralized cryptocurrency. And many people will not like and use it in this market so I think they will never create cryptocurrency for themselves

I don't think it's possible for Google to start a crypto currency project because of US government terms and condition. And the valueable question is why should google need that..? They already have a payment system "Google Pay" (which is not crypto currency though). So starting another currency is really silly thought.



First of all google do not control everything. They are just giant company in digital world. If some how google start a crypto project (if) there is no way i can see that it'll beat Bitcoin. May be it'll hive like Libra (which is own by social media giant Facebook) but end of the story it'll never gonna beat Bitcoin. Because they are not gonna decentralized their project (if they start) like Bitcoin.

Google coin will still fall under altcoin like any future coin like Libra. Well google coin won't be compared with bitcoin because will design a stable coin and not something that is unregulated and open to any form of analysis or big traders manipulating the market to cause market FOMO/FUD. I rather trade bitcoin and use google coin for services.

Nowadays, cryptocurrencies are still centralised, still not 100% decentralized, that's because there are still influences from the project that control the price and can be manipulated

I disagree with your point of view, i think there are many dynamics and factors for the success of a coin, coming from a renowned company or brand is just one factor, for crypto coins the ingredients to success are basically decentralization and open ledger which i do not think all these private owned coins can bring fully just see libra, so i think btc will remain the king even if all companies launch their own coins.

Let's compare it to one of the social media giants "Facebook" which has already tried to make their own cryptocurrency. Not easy, right? there are many problems, rumors, and various things that make it never realized. This can happen because of legal constraints and other sensitive matters that make cryptocurrency quite controversial. In my opinion, this is actually a good strategy if Google wants to make its own cryptocurrency, with a very wide network, this adoption will definitely have a big impact.

Google is centralized, owns by a corporation so people would not interested with that.
People will continue to love a currency like bitcoin which the creator is anonymous and its system is open for audit of transparency.

I don't think so. It will not easy to beat bitcoin because bitcoin already has big fans, and they still use bitcoin as the leader in the crypto world. Google coin itself needs to compete with the other altcoin and not bitcoin, which I am afraid it is not easy to do that because every strong altcoin at the market will not let Google takes their position at the market. Google can have its own digital currency, and I think Google is already doing this. However, they are not yet telling people about that because they still research more about cryptocurrency. We can wait for more news from Google.

This reminds me the case of Facebook coin which no one knows about it again, if it will see the light of the day later on or not. Yes, Google have a very large user base and can easily make its users to adopt it, but yet again the case scenario of Facebook might come to play again. Blockchain is very aplicable to storing data, so it’s very likely that Google has at least given the idea some thought at this point.

In my own opinion, google would never think that they will make their own cryptocurrency because i assume that they don't have any interest about cryptocurrency, that is why they are some issues in YouTube that they deleted a huge numbers of crypto videos that they stated it was just a bug or a mistake, but i think it was on purpose because why only crypto videos?

I think if Google will make its own currency that will be made like a stable and centralized coin, Google is very compliant with the regulations set by every country in the world so that their products are accepted by all people. of course if google does, surely crypto fans will cause controversy, I think bitcoin will remain victorious in the next few decades.

bitclave is actually a dead project and as you can see that the developer has rarely updated the project and investors have been loosing all of their money in this crap coin. I can say if this is a scam coin because i have been getting trapped too. google has so many options and compared with bitclave and that's a non sense thing.

Well, it will be a big and great news if ever Google will also join the trend of creating and launching its own cryptocurrency just like what Facebook will be on launching its Libra coin. Even if such thing would happen, we still cannot say if the coin that will be launch by Google can beat up the Bitcoin hype because yes, indeed that Google is a very well-known or popular site where we can access the whole internet, that could gather a lot of potential investors, still Bitcoin is the most trusted and well-known cryptocurrency of all time. Well, it depends on the features that the cryptocurrency coin of Google can provide which is something new to the public. If such thing would happen that the features are new and favorable to the crowd, possibly Google's coin can get near into the price of Bitcoin. But I think even if such thing is can possibly happen that Google will get into cryptocurrency industry, still it is far away to happen or possible in no time.

It will be hard for any coin to beat Bitcoin because bitcoin is so decentralized unlike most coins we see today. Now we all know that Google is in charge of many online services today, which if they should have their own token will have a large amount of users but can we really trust them with our data or can our privacy really be respected? I hardly believes so. Therefore, my opinion is this, owing to the fact the world is becoming conscious of privacy which Bitcoin has truly offered then it will be hard for another to take its place.

Google has a number of dApps including various payment methods, entertainment media, and much more. By any chance if ever google launch their own utility token than I am sure that they would have a number of users who would buy their coin which would be used for internal payments. Google would make huge benefits by launching any such coin and also the price for such coin would drastically rise in greater amount. But yet, comparing it with bitcoins might not be reliable.

Bitcoins would still be mother coin for even that coin launched by google. Bitcoins would have a huge demand in the coming future which would surely boost the price and it would never be possible for any new launched coin to even cross 50% of the valuation for bitcoins.

I don't know why people think nothing can beat Bitcoin, it's all about feature and technology if google can make something better than Bitcoin like more decentralized and secure then definitely it could beat Bitcoin.

It's not that easy to beat bitcoin my friend. You know some coins have some better improvement over bitcoin but at the end of the day, you will not find decentralized coin in other as much as you can get in bitcoin. We all are here for decentralization of payment system. So, none of the cryptocurrency can beat bitcoin ever.

Almost all of the people is a user of the google platform which means they are subscribers of it si if you will ask us if the google will be able to have it's own digital currency and if it may beat bitcoin my answer is absurd. Google has its own wallets in the current times which are only been supported by local fiat currencies. That makes google entirely centralized. Even if google launches its own currency than it would even be centralized.

Centralized currencies never make it possible to perform a sudden pump or dump which keeps to currency stable at some point. This would never make google bypass bitcoins ever if they launch their own coin. They would only try to support local transactions by their end. Bitcoins would always be top of all cryptocurrencies. I can't find the potential in any other coin to overtake bitcoins even in the coming future.

I guess your prediction that Google "coin" will beat Bitcoin is possible to happen since there is no secret ingredient about Bitcoin's success. The popularity of Google and the vastness of its influence will have a great impact because almost everyone uses google and all the platforms along with it like Youtube.

But one thing I am not sure is that if the whales has the capacity to  turn the events around for Bitcoin since the whales has the majority of Bitcoin. What happens if the owner of that Bitcoins is connectd to Google? I guess we just need to wait until it happens. I think not. because whales in crypto market use bitcoin to manipulate the market, and each individual can control the market if their money is much. As for Google, if its price fluctuates the same as in US exchanges, there will certainly be many people who want to buy it but it will not be a rival of bitcoin. Google should be a centralized stock market, it will not be able to function in this decentralized market. Well cryptocurrencies are decentralized (most of them) and those which are centralized are heavily criticized for it. Libra faced the same criticism from the community when it was announced So the question is this :  if the tech giant as big as google decides to introduce its own crypto.... will it be fully decentralized?

So in the mean time the best thing that google can do is to integrate existing crypto payment options across its products including google pay as this will open the gate for mass adoption.

Google doesn't need to compete BTC because Google is something out of the reach of BTC atm, so even thinking about it is stupidity. And yeah, Google doesn't need a cryptocurrency because it already allows you to bank through its Google Pay app and send/receive money from anybody without the need to pay any fees (not even on an IMPS transfer) while if it'd have a cryptocurrency, no wonder Google would be making a very handsome amount in fiat if we'd calculate how much in total fees would it be getting per day, considering the number of users it has.

We are only bothering ourselves, thinking that Google is going to launch its own cryptocurrency. If you would check through critically well, you would discover that people have been talking about this for quite some time now. Had it been they wanted to do it, we would have started seeing news flying around from google as the source itself.

Not a cryptocurrency but in some sense, there is already something similar like that under Google. If you know, Alphabet Inc is the parent company of Google and it's revenue comes from the advertisement of Adsense and Google Ads. Now those two pay the web and youtube creator content with ads money from the publisher but pretty much everything under their control. From how they take a cut from your payment to even subtract if they see a foul play. Just a switch and they could move the whole thing to crypto.

i'm sure google is making its own crypto currency in the future, or they have already one, might be a partnership, to a crypto currency, that they don't wan't to disclose at the moment, companies like this don't really share its project if it will not be launch, im sure we will find out that they already have its own coin in the market sooner or later.

Regulation, such as that from SEC will prevent them from having their own cryptocurrency. I know that they will oblige to SEc directives and with that, they will never venture into launching it.
