Title: I have been scammed by Bitcasino.io for 0.05 BTC
Post by: jason88crypto on February 14, 2020, 11:25:04 AM
Sorry I am new to this forum so forgive any mistakes

What happened:: I got an email from Bitcasino.io and it said if I deposited some amount to some given addresses I will get interest and I thought that it's just another scam but I then looked at the email address and it was actually theirs, so I deposited 0.05 BTC to them. But after 1 month I have got no money from them so please tell me how to get back my money. [/color]

Hello jason88crypto,

I assume this is a reference to the incident that happened with our 3rd party email provider a while back. I got in touch with our security team and this was their response:

The blockchain is publicly accessible here (https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/19tj29CzDNntm8axEtqNP84YLgmLra48wy) and the address in the email has received only 0.00037299 BTC, not 0.05 BTC as claimed above.

Also we've made a public statement of this which you can read here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4541166.msg52605614#msg52605614).

Could you please send the txID for us to review. :)

Cheers,
Karl
