Also, when looking at your images, it seems your withdrawal request has been denied for a reason, just by looking carefully, I think this is not a complete scam.

If you want to create any Scam Accusations against someone you have to post all information and proof. your post is not clear much.

Anyway, Did you tried to contact support through email/live chat? I have faced some problem with this exchange long ago. withdrawal took more than 24 hours even sometimes it canceled after 12 hours. ::) This is a shady exchange to me. And it's volume is fake.

Sorry for losing your money, but upon checking the site, there was no reason for you to trust them and deposit that amount.
When searching you will find many topics[1] [2] [3] that talk about them being scammers.

[1] EXRATES.ME is a scam Exchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5207656.new;topicseen#new)
[2] Review Exrates.me exchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3369003.0) from 2018
[3] EXRATES.ME is a scam Exchange (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4479898.20) from 2018

Unsurprisingly, they are still working, it seems that many people invest in these platforms without doing any research.

It seems that talking to them won't solve any problems  ::) This time and the next time, they can continue to use that reason to not pay you, support has no right to interfere with the investigation. LOL. Support features are useless there  >:( It is no coincidence that there are other allegations about this exchange  :D Hopefully you can get the money, this topic should be more touched so others can see it

Talked to support today and here is the response
I think you are wasting your time trying to get your money back from a scammer who stole it and stole others’ money.
There are many similar cases. Unfortunately, the support team will not care for their reputation and therefore will not consider how much money will be given to you.
The best solution is to contribute to spreading awareness and preventing others from using this service.

If you are from a country that supports crypto (regulation,) ask a lawyer and he may help you.

Firstly I am sorry about you getting scammed. You are not the first and you will not be the last person to be scammed but I really hoped you had researched about them before you sent your funds to them.

Just to let you know coinsbit, p2pb2b, exrates and whitebit are all scam exchanges that are connected with the same group of scammers that have one Ukrainian super-scammer called Valerii Solodovnyk as a common link.

In the case of exrates exchange, there is something you can do. Exrates is owned by: DexTechnologies OÜ which is registered in Estonia and has the company number as: 14499374

Estonian law, rules, regulations and policies apply to them therefore report them to the Estonian authorities.

1) Firstly, report them for tax evasion because they have filed micro accounts for their previous tax returns yet they claim to trade over $1 billion every day. For a company that claims to trade over $365 billion a year they have not paid any tax so when the Estonian authorities hear that they did not receive potential tens of millions of USD$ I am sure they will take a look fast:

2) Second, report them to the Estonian authorities for what they did to you by scamming your crypto. Give them as much detail as possible: cybercrime@politsei.ee

That should hopefully shut down their trash fake exchange website.

This is really a good sign, I hope you can get all your money back and end this allegation. But I have a question, why do they divide your money into parts for payment? Why did they not send all your money once?

This is really not transparent, they sent you half the money, but it seems they want to stop there. Keep this topic up to date until they pay you the full amount. Anyway, you did nothing wrong so you could lose any money  ;)

Good to see progress, here. Them arbitrarily allowing you to withdraw random amounts imho is a sign they're selectively scamming their users. Maybe they run on fractional reserve, and in such cases, it is sometimes enough to just be annoying. It's not that high of an amount, so chances are good that they'll give in at some point and let you withdraw your remaining amount.

Just stay friendly (as you did… I know there's plenty of reason to not stay friendly, but if you need your money back, this is sadly the best way to go), and remember them again and again, and hopefully, you will be able to get everything out of this nonsense exchange. :)

@OP - If you manage to get your funds out never ever use these scammers again. Just remember, coinsbit, p2pb2b, whitebit and of course exrates are all operated by the same scammers.

@allyouracid - just as you stated, they are letting him have his crypto back but dragging it out by returning it in small pieces but is this really the classic case of selective scamming? It does not appear to have the hallmarks.

You're right; I kinda wrote this post between door and angle. It really looks more like a fractional reserve scam, with few users being lucky enough to get their money back when they persistently remind the operators that they're still owed money. :)
