I heard a lot about earning cryptocurrency for free. But unfortunately most of these methods or websites are either scam or pay very little. So I would like to know some legit and real methods to earn crypto online. It will be really appreciated. Thanks!

Bounties = if you want to participate you can see many different bounties in altcoin bounties section
Airdrop = mostly you can see it in social media posted in different groups sometimes you can see it also in altcoin bounties sections .
Afliate program (refferal ) = you can find it in gambling sometimes exchange that give a certain amount for refering a friend if i remember kick token have this know.
Faucet = its give you only a little amount so ill never try.
Services = if you have skill to offer in a project and they need it they will pay you a token or btc for that service you provided.

and you might be able to sell things around you, for example shoes, t-shirts, bags and so on and then pay using cryptocurrency, but it's a bit difficult to build trust from the start, but it's good enough in my opinion

Brave browser will earn you BAT like sunsilk's suggestion. You earn BAT while surfing the net, that's easy to do.

There are more to gain from bounty campaigns like in social media and article campaigns unlike those in faucets though. When the market becomes stable, prices of altcoins that you earned are also going to have higher value.

Websites like Gitcoin, bounties.network etc some of them don't even require reputation to be considered. So long as you are good at something they want, you will earn some crypto.

Nothing pays better than a skill you are very good at. Use your existing skill or gain a skill so that you can make some capital to get yourself into trading or anything that can be scaled. Trading is a good way to earn cryptocurrency but it requires huge patience and knowledge about it; master it.

If you run after that penny earning ways then you will always be running into low earnings, you'll never scale.

First of all there's no such thing as free even the faucets let you watch dozens of ads before claiming the faucet because they needed your traffic or view, the most legitimate  way you can earn crypto is through working there's a lot of things you can do here if you have an investment you can go for mining and trading unfortunately it depends on time whether it is worth mining or not and in regards with trading you should have enough skills in order to trade well.

If you don't have any money to invest you can earn through bounty programs on which you're going to promote a project and they will reward you either their own coins/tokens or bitcoin.

there are ways to earn free crypto  . for example on a gambling site they give rains without doing nothing but only its random  , users can also give you tip and its not random but try to be more friendly to them so that you can get recognized  . i dont consider faucets as free because like you said they require some work first before you can claim a crypto  .  better if we dont expect to earn big  because if that is our mindset , its hard for us to find an earning source  . and mostly those who promise to pay big are only scams

Since you are already aware about the scams happening online I hope that you also realize that there is really no "free" method here online because mostly what you'll only be seeing are sites about faucets which technically you'll not be earning from them and you'll just be wasting most of your time trying to claim and claim back from them. Aside from trading and mining your only option is of course offering your skills (e.g. photo editing, web design, escrow) as work in exchange for their cryptocurrency. If you don't have any skills that can be transacted online one of the most popular things here in the marketplace is offering up loans and exchanging your own cryptocurrency to fiat or another crypto where some people also earn.

You correctly say that you can only earn a little for free or get a scam. All other ways to get cryptocurrency are related to your work efforts. These can be bounties or airdrops. But the main earnings you can get on the cryptocurrency exchange. But this will require financial investments.

I would not recommend using mining sites. Chance that your PC will be infected with hidden miner is huge. Besides, mining sites probably is one of the most popular ways to scam. Also mining site - it is sending money today, with a wish to get rich in future (must wait before user mines enough for withdraw) - same as investment, so why not spend these money on ico/ieo, parallel doing bounties/airdrop ?

About the airdrops, someone needs to be careful, there are some scammers that makes use of fake airdrops to get personal details that can be used in phishing attacks, also the links on the airdrop page can contain malware that can be used to steal bitcoin from your wallet .

I wonder who would be so dumb to give personal details for a couple of dollars. The time when airdrop could give you 50 or 100 dollars are gone. I understand that in late 2017 people could pass KYC to receive an airdrop, but in 2020 ? Why would even project need personal details for ? Person that participates in airdrop is not an investor, who probably should give some info about history of his funds. I understand that exchange, that operates with fiat could run an airdrop and ask to pass KYC, but why would others do that?

For bounties like signature campaign you need to meet up the rank requirements and follow the signature campaign rules. For trading and other methods, you must have knowledge on what field you are going to do in order not to get scammed. Even high ranks here got also scammed so be very careful and knowledgeable to what you want to do. You can find free crypto seldomly and most is you to do something first before they will pay you.

Earning from brave browser is also very less and i am afraid you will not earn much money from it. If you seriously want to earn crypto currencies then you need to have or develop a skill and offer that skill for bitcoins. This is the best way to  earn bitcoins. Getting crypto for free, I think you have to be patient and consistent in doing it. There are many methods that have been recommended for you so far and can they help? I hope, but It seems like the OP has found a way he likes so far to get crypto. I don't think that this statement is really accurate. I am leaning more towards believing that most bounties are a scam and only some are legit. A scam bounty is not just a campaign that doesn't pay you for your work. Even if you get paid with worthless tokens, or tokens who were already dumped on exchanges by their creators before they were distributed to investors and bounty hunters, that is still a scam bounty. Or if you get tokens who will never be listed anywhere.

If we talk about today for sure it is since I don't see any happy people earning good profits for joining the bounty compare before and scammers are using this type of promotion to scam many people around so better for to stay away with this since you will be part of someones misery if you join those scam bounties. There are other selection we can choose to earn and just stay on service section and observe on what service we can offer for the people here.

Some projects just list in shady type exchange and sell their own tokens in high price and dump the price when it's come to distribution. But, some bounties are profitable one which rate is likely 5% or may be more lower than i write.

Faucets are kind of a waste of time. The higher paying ones usually give 20-30 satoshis/hour.
I think the way to go are GPTs and surveys for no investment ways of making money.

It also depends on the country or region you come from. At the beginning of Brave the ads were random, almost everyone who participated got ads shown. In the meanwhile, after big advertisers came on board (like HomeDepot for example) the ads are more user targeting. It does not make sense for an advertiser to show someone ads where they do not have business. Same with crypto currency exchanges which also advertise a lot on Brave. It does not make sense for an exchange to show users ads when they are from regions that are excluded from participating on the exchange (for example due to US sanctions).

Literally Coinbase is not offering FREE crypto, but to get many KYC from his customer. This is just a marketing strategy, you need to complete ID verification [1] to able get crypto from faucet (completing course/watch video). That's true you need a lot time and dedication to get few bucks by faucet, but it's better if you find a jobs/freelance or offering service. Because you will earn more than doing faucet.

I bet that earnings will not suffice to buy you a meal. It is because that bitcoin faucets are relatively small and many are ignoring for it to claim. I do not know in other country or places but here in our place even collective faucets were not good. Maybe those faucets before that bitcoin is not yet that expensive will do but i.think no one has saves their faucets before and able to save it until now. If they really do then they are the lucky ones to be able to save bitcoin faucet and earn late part or now for saving it.

These are more fine ways of earning bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Its like an odesk style actually. But what you mentioned about referral is not a good way cause most referral earning are ending up scam. The best way for me so far is to do a signature campaign. They paid bitcoin on a weekly basis but of course the competition on joining on these campaigns are really hard. You must be good on writing and can understand most about crypto and forum.

The first mistake OP makes, is writing "Earn" in the title and "for free" in the body of the message. It's one thing or the other.

I'd invite all beginners to have a look at OP's post history. All the time he spends on twitter, telegram and whatnot, is time lost forever. He could have used that time to work and have an income to buy crypto.

It's not entirely wrong because few years back many people did earn crypto just by simply providing their wallet address. What i'm talking about is airdrops and faucet works too but at this time those platform won't do much thing now especially airdrops. Once I tried to earn some beer money on upwork with photo editing (Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom) and different services with data (work with tables, audio, documents and etc). I have tried to apply for easy tasks (to get rating/portfolio on upwork) and even agreed to work for free. In 4 months I've got only 1 job - install an app on iOS, play the game for 5minutes and leave a comment on Appstore...

Maybe I'm just so unlucky, but I would not recommend upwork. There will alway be people with higher rating and number of jobs done, that will do the task cheaper than you.

I know also about BitTorrent Token which can be earned for free just downloading, you will automatically earn BitTorrent (BTT) by seeding those downloads.

I've read some reviews of this method of earning and it is not as easy as might be. You cant just download a torrent and left it seeding and earn. To be able to earn you need to download all the time new torrents, delete what you have download and download new. Minimum withdrawal amount is 1000 BTT.

A guy downloaded about 100Gb in one day and left it seeding and earned about 3.5 BTT ~ $0.001. I did not checked this information, nor I have tried to earn with that method. But if the numbers are true, it is not worth spending time.

I would rather invest than promoting ICO project because for me it is just a waste of time and resources.However, I suggees OP to join bounty that pays btc.
