Title: L3+ Firmware problems OR Hash Board Hex File Problems?
Post by: gta3uzi on February 23, 2020, 02:19:51 PM
So I had a few L3+ get "touched" by some control boards with D3 firmware on them.

Additionally, the firmware available on Bitmain's website for the L3+ is not the same they ship with. They ship with manual fan control, but the website firmware only has an option to change the frequency.

Is my only option to get a PICkit and manually reset the EEPROMs on the hash boards to a proper configuration?

Is there any way to export the control board firmware from a working miner so I can make some additional non-D3 control boards?

Thanks! :)

You might be able to find older firmware for your miner on this github repo:

https://github.com/jeffpcyo/asic-firmware

(I am not affiliated with that repo or person in any way and can't judge if these are really all original files, DYOR and be careful!)

Also downgrading from newest firmware for L3+ involves some tricks, see this post for more info:
