Post by: coinalyze on February 25, 2020, 09:00:35 AM
Hey Guys,

You can see liquidations and open interest in real time now https://coinalyze.net/bitcoin/usd/bitmex/btcusd_perp/price-chart-live/ Click on "Add Extra Data" button.

Also, here https://coinalyze.net/futures-data/ you can find many other futures data for various coins and exchanges

Best of luck!

Awesome tools, thank you so much! This blows the free version of Tensorcharts out of the water!

I'm assuming you don't have open interest data going back further than January 2020? I've been dying to find historical data.

Regardless, thanks again. Bookmarked!

Yeah, this does change a lot of stuff, unfortunately there is not enough data points in the crypto world, we can see the historical data for many things like prices and other stuff but when it comes to finer details of trading and seeing the indicators at that moment in time etc it becomes a bit lacking.

Thankfully with this you can at least see the futures which is a very very important part and you can also liquidations as well, that is one very important part of leverage so I assume it would be in great use for investors who would love to see that before they join in. However to everyone out there, this is a good indicator of what "could" happen but know that it is not %100 guaranteed of course, just use it as a tool that you can get help from that's it.

Thank you so much for this! If there was any one thing I'd change about your site, it'd be to make 'add data' a little bit more clear that it adds liquidation and open interest data or maybe even just have it open by default so newcomers can more easily see these right off the bat. It's a shame there's not more historical data, but it's already enough to work with and it'll become less of a problem as time goes on and the system records more data. I've got no complaints otherwise; TradingView's amazing, and this data makes it better. I may actually consider unsubscribing from TensorCharts in favor of your platform. :)

Yes finally I don't need to keep scrolling back and back on Tensor charts to see the open interest from a larger time frame. I also like the BuySellVolume you included which can be used to spot any type of iceberg or large bids/asks being filled. If you spot any large bid or ask volume but the price doesn't move much then it means it some type of large order being filled.

The open interest is useful because you can tell trends. Basically when OI is high it generally means we are continuing the trend, since the OI is still >900M I think we are still in a bull market however if it keeps on decreasing everyday and price is going down or sideways it means we are no longer in a bull market.
