Title: Tradesatoshi Online: Closing on 1st March - Quickly Withdraw Your Funds !
Post by: JollyGood on February 26, 2020, 11:39:15 PM
This was taken minutes ago.

They have re-opened (for whatever reason) so those trying to withdraw their funds but finding the Tradesatoshi website closed can at least try and then see what happens. Hopefully all users will be able to withdraw before they close down (or selective exit-scam) !

Don't be afraid to bin any dust you have - if they really are allowing dust to be destroyed, better to scatter the ashes in the wind.

I hope the maintenance mode will not be forever as was the case of many abandoned crypto exchanges. We will see in the next few hours or couple of days if they will re-open again for withdrawal. Hopefully, those who have large funds can complete their transactions.

Here are already several threads about Tradesatoshi exit scam. the option of withdrawal of money before 1st March is just a declarative and not in reality.
Even if they close down on 1st March, they asking users to pass KYC to be able to withdraw money from there.
Send personal information to shady service which ceases to operate?

Also, remember this, what to expect from Cryptopia and Tradesatoshi creator?

Quote
"Cryptopia, Tradesatoshi and Assetylene obviously all look alike because I made/designed each platform, so I guess I have a style maybe," he explained.

Today is 1st March 2020 and their website is offline completely. There is no message, it is just a dead space.

It seems the scammers at Tradesatoshi must have made off with a lot of money in their exit-scam.

It is all over for Tradesatoshi. They said they close on 1st March 2020 and they certainly did that, stealing lots of crypto as they left and closed to the front door.

The website will not be going back online, their exit scam is complete.

RussiaCoin has lost a lot of coins that were held in "maintenance" for many months with no response from TradeSatoshi.

People should not hold coins on any exchange...It should only be used for short term trading.
That way scams like tradesatoshi could not steal that much

And why did you had so many coins on that exchange?
Oh, it was the only exchange where you could sell your coins cause no other exchange accepted it. That, if you had anybody buying it! 20-30$ volume a day?

The only good part in this is that most of the shitcoins were only traded on their exchange so once they've closed shop they can't do anything else with them anyhow.
Coingeko is showing volumes between 10k and 30k on average for February, I hope this means not that many BTC were lost.

Well, they locked my account with a balance of around 10$ maybe.

There have some coins left to the exchange, to unlock the account i need to remember the name on the exchange account. The problem, i don't really remember which name i set up for the exchange. Trying contact to the exchange a few weeks ago, i can sign a message every transaction i already did to their exchange but they not responding my ticket email. After that, i just abandoned my balance the weird thing i never locked the account but they locked the account without reason like login with a different IP or something.

With all those useless coins now held by Tradesatoshi, like you said they will not be able to do anything with them. They could have changed them for BTC/LTC/ETH themselves while their rightful owners were held in locked-out accounts - that is a possibility.

Ultimately the best result is Tradesatoshi has closed down. Their owners and operators are probably looking at opening up again using a different company name with minor CSS changes to their exchange code. I hope the law enforcement agencies get their act together and investigate these scammers then make an example of them by jailing them after they get their day in Court.

So, another exchange is gone for good. Tradesatoshi exchange had zero fanbases, many coins got ruin because of this shit exchange! So, I have no feelings for their gone! I hope everyone successfully has withdrawn their assets! After Coinexchange, Codex and now this, low volume exchanges are closing down and the same thing will happen for the shit coins, which will be great for the crypto industry overall!
