Title: Why my account got banned? Any help? I will appreciate.
Post by: CoinAltBitBitAltCoin on February 28, 2020, 01:38:07 AM
Although, I am new to bitcointalk, but, I am not new to cryptocurrencies. I am a quality writer. I was banned yesterday and it was a permanet one. But, I still believe my account would be unbanned. Neither did I plagiarized nor spammed. I did not know what could have resulted to the ban.

My user name: KarlKanKarl
Profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile

I am 100% certain about myself that I did not plagiarize and it took me time to make a complete thread before posting. Please why the ban?

89% chance you are banned because of this: Topic: Post several topics (threads) in the adjacent time (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228341.msg53909731#msg53909731)

Contrary to this rule:

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

The solution is you can take this path to restore it: Topic: Recovering hacked/lost accounts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0)

I've used Google to check a couple of your posts and they seem to copy word for word  posts that appear on https://swiftcointalk.org/. Unfortunately, it appears that I have to log in to get to the particular posts. Since I don't have an account with them, I am not going to bother. You are most probably banned for plagiarism.

Edit: this post of yours:

The classical computers process data while the quantum computing is a new method to process data and solving problems that classical computing are not capable of.
There are some computations that was thought can not be possible but now becoming a matter of time by quantum computer.

As I read it, it was written that quantum computing that computer giants like google are working on now can not break blockchain and the underlying cryptography. But, with time, there can be more sophisticated ones that can be a threat to blockchain. So, they are a threat to blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

It will be better to create a quantum resistant layer to an existing blockchain protocol to increase its security or create a quantum resistant blockchain from scratch. They are the recent approaches.

Further edit: It appears the post on swiftcoin came after the OPs post here.

Example:

I am a newbie yet but I know a lot about the crypto wallet. Higher ranked members would know pretty more about the wallets but this will be helpful for new people that just joined in crypto world.

Crypto wallets are used to save cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. It generate you crypto addresses. The address are called public key like bank account number where you can send cryptocurrencies.

Note: sending crypto to a wrong address is 99% to 100% impossible to be reversed. Send to the right address. The best is to copy and paste the address.

Crypto wallet also have private key, just like a password but different from a password because it gives you the full ownership of the wallet. Some wallet do not have this feature.

There are two types of crypto wallet:

1. The online/hot wallet
2. The offline/cold wallet

The online wallets are not safe and more susceptible to cyber attack. There are 3 types.

-snip-

And on the unknown forum:
https://www.swiftcointalk.org/latest-bitcoin-news/crypto-wallet-explained-simply/msg328266/#msg328266

All of these posts were made by the "administrator" and there is no discussion happening there, only the post alone. So I'm not sure if that was the case. Maybe he owns the forum? Or someone is scraping the posts and posting them there.

In your example, the post on the other forum appears to have been made 1 day later (23 Feb VS 24 Feb), but we don't know the exact time zone.

Yes, it's a known copy-cat site. Disregard any search matches with it.

I didn't spam neither did I plagiarize as I said before. I haven't even visited the site you said before. I stay more often on cointelegrah and coindesk. If you check these two crypto news site, you can gain a lot than spamming and plagiarizing.

I noticed if you take your time to write quality article on this forum, they might think it is spam or plagiarism.

I am not 100% perfect and I am still new but the cause of my ban should be other reasons because I can tell you that I did not plagiarize.

I will say I admit but I did not plagiarize, and hold on to this. If they like, let them ban it. I am tired of writing good articles and be depressed  by ban from a moderator. But, I learnt not to write articles again, I rather just write five line contents in order not to be banned. Although, I am not sure but I think it can help.

The admin of the fake forum have a link to the profile they own here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1462988
What they are trying to do in order to build their forum is really silly.

You plagiarized, both directly and text spinning, and I reported you for it. I'm on mobile, but give me a few minutes and I'll refind the evidence I found on my desktop.

These were the only two posts of yours I checked, and found plagiarism in around 30 seconds for each. I have little doubt if I looked harder I would find more. So I'm afraid you can save your lies about writing articles yourself and not plagiarizing.
