Title: Good News! Supreme Court removed ban on cryptocurrencies in India Post by: pawanjain on March 04, 2020, 06:16:55 AM Finally the long awaited heated debate in the Supreme court of India has come to an end.
It has been almost 2 years now since the ban on cryptocurrencies took place in 2018. Bitcoin's current price as of 3 March is approx $8800 (6,35,000 INR). Let's see how this ban lift helps bitcoin in increasing it's price. With this ban elevation, I hope more development and acceptance of crypto as payment gets encouraged in India. The case is over but RBI to File Review Petition again you may read it from here: https://news.bitcoin.com/rbi-supreme-court-cryptocurrency/ . As we all know RBI is certainly not very happy with the cryptocurrencies they will go as far as they can to restrict it. |
