Introduction

 You have the right to freedom of transaction: to freely transfer value whenever and however you see fit, in either physical or digital form. Before the inception of Bitcoin, commerce on the Internet had come to almost exclusively rely on centralized institutions serving as trusted third parties to process electronic payments. These institutions effectively serve as gatekeepers for these financial markets, limiting your freedom of transaction. Bitcoin sought to provide more freedom by indiscriminately providing the means to create an account (ie. bank account), with the added benefit of reliable, fast and low-cost transactions. hybrix proposes a means to interconnect most ledger technologies and hereby safeguard and expand your freedom of transaction.

The problem - COLLABORATE 
Many distributed ledger technologies (DLTs for short) have been developed in parallel and subsequent to Bitcoin. As a result, multitude of crypto islands and archipelagos have emerged, each with considerable resources invested in both technological development and financial assets. Substantial efforts have been made to strive for interoperability between them. The flow of transactions between systems, however, could be greater, if the ocean that surrounds them is utilized to harness their combined power, irrespectively and agnostically.

Our solution - HYBRIX SAYS HY 
The solution we propose is the HY token. HY strives to be the token to bind them all, championing interoperability by granting the freedom to transact on and with any DLT. HY operates on a second-level token protocol that can transact units of account on a single ledger, or between a vast number of DLTs. Its transactions are stored on the DLT involved. This gives its users the advantage of using the ledger system that best suits their needs.

The HY token will be used as a store of value and as a currency for token sales. There will be a limited supply of 21 million tokens with a deflationary emission curve (as homage to Bitcoin).  Token 

The current HY token is an ERC20 token. The token is a placeholder for the future token, which will be an interoperable token that operates on a second level token protocol. This means that HY will not bound to any blockchains and can transfer value frictionless across existing blockchains and ledgers.

Use cases 
The main use cases of the HY token are: 
● Registration and renewal fees for new cross-ledger tokens issued on top of the hybrix protocol   
● Settlement of fees for network validators for hybrix   
● Settlement of fees for network validations for other tokens issued on top of the hybrix protocol

Everything seems fine. But can I ask why the team profile on your website only consists of avatar? Can we know if youre gonna edit it and upload your profile on your social media such ad linkedin or even twitter so we can view whom we are gonna deal for this project. By the way, will you run an IEO or any fundraising event for this?

Also I see that youre going to run a bounty campaign can we ask if youre gonna hired a reputable forum manager or your the one will manage it?

i don't follow this project closely, its long time ago. what the connection this project with internet of coins? rebrand or what? i'm one of the early supporter and the holder hybrid (XHY) coin, i just received email about the snapshot information that we will get free HY token for XHY coin holder.

I see you should fast track the displaying of your team members thru reputable site such as linkedin. As far as I see, this project has been launched before? Based on the comments of @kaconk that a snapshot for previous holders will occur.

There are many reputable manager that handle here. You can check the service section. But for altcoin project, I always see Arteezy, Julerz12 and Cryptobrainboss handle it.

It's an interesting about your token platform that can be lives on every chain, in order to do this as far I remember your token must be created on second layer protocol (off-chain) am I right?

I see you have a plan to run bounties, I hope we can collaborate on this, especially in terms of bounty management.

where can we see the list of all tokens supported by hybrix? or it can be seen once you installed the wallet? by estimate, what percentage of these 387 tokens are still actively trading in exchanges? and supporting 31 chains, quite a lot actually. But how many are actually using your wallet? can you disclose the approx. number?

Maybe old tokens with active markets. Though I haven't checked their wallet yet, but there's no reason for them to list old tokens with no market value anymore. They have so many chains supported also. So might be worth checking this one.

edit : I created my web wallet and it is very easy. They will be the one generating your account ID and password. So you should keep it in safe location. Will be exploring the wallet more.

The token indeed uses a second layer protocol to make on-chain transactions. By doing this we enable Freedom of Transaction, so you can transact freely over all supported chains.

It's like kaconk said: currently, the wallet and platform is supporting 387 tokens on 31 different chains. You can use the API and library to communicate with these blockchains using one language. Say if you wanted to develop something and communicate to multiple chains, you could use our library for free to do so.

To see which assets are supported, you can perform an API call: https://api.hybrix.io/asset

All these assets are also supported by the explorer (https://explorer.hybrix.io) and by the Internet of Coins wallet, which is using the hybrix platform (https://wallet.internetofcoins.org). If you are missing certain tokens or coins, you can add them with a pull request and a recipe.

The hybrix project I saw was just launched, and after I explored it, all of it was quiet like telegram channels, and social media hybrix, and I think hybrix needs to add telegram groups so that people can interact with others or even with the hybrix team, and of course there will be a lot of input that the hybrix team gets from the community, surely there will be a lot of people giving input to the hybrik project, that's why the hybrix telegram community is needed

Social media and the community of projects play a pretty important role in how projects become a success. I would love to be an active part of the community (especially the Telegram since I tend to get most of my crypto information from there) and see how this project evolves over time.

@nimogsm good question, the snapshot was taken in February. That is the snapshot of everyone who held XHY at that time. They will get HY tokens on a 1:1 ratio as a thank you for their believe and trust in this project. The distribution of HY will be later this year the exact date of which is yet to be determined. As soon as we know more we'll let you know of course. We'll also let you know when you can buy HY tokens!

Hello dont you have any telegram group? The one with social interaction and people can ask questions or give some feedback regarding your project? Ive seen that you only have a channel which users can only do is to read for any update that you posted here. What community needs is a group channel where discussion is allowed. Also quite noticed that there are only 49 subscribers on your channel. Pretty low for a new start up. I guess you should start soon a campaign to boost your community followers and get some attention from many people.

He is an authority on blockchain and digital security, has advised large US companies on data security and has written hundreds of articles about cryptography, security, distributed ledgers, cloud computing and bitcoin.

Several of his talks and works were compiled into a series called the “Internet of Money” which became bestsellers. The non-profit open source project hybrix put out “a sarcasm article which was meant to herald his achievements for the community in an ironic way” as was phrased in a statement on Discord. Although the article was drenched in irony, with quotes like “The company says Antonopoulos should stop promoting the freedom of the Internet and the freedom of money: ‘This is already done by us!’”, some of the irony was lost on its readers.

Bridging blockchain’s gaps is a topic that’s been written about extensively.[2] Last year, Andreas Antonopoulos “articulated why ‘winner takes all’ is out and inter-blockchain communication is in, at the Blockstack Summit in San Francisco.” [3] With projects offering atomic swaps and decentralized exchanges, some bridges have already been built.

An issue, however, with this way of working is that in some situations the bridge has to be built from both ways. If the blockchain supports smart contracts, like Ethereum, atomic swaps are already supported[4]. If there are no atomic swaps (like with Bitcoin), then compatibility needs to be built from the other chain’s side.

In other words, compatibility is built, one project after the other, but there is no singular common compatibility platform yet; no bridge yet to integrate them all. A new solution may be on its way next month and it’s not what many people expect.

Hybrix has announced the release of multi ledger tokens on a second-layer protocol[5]. Multi ledger tokens are tokens that exist on multiple chains at the same time and are argued to be an important innovation for the core functionality of blockchain and distributed ledger protocols. A major advantage over atomic swaps is that the compatibility does not have to be built in; it works on all compatible ledgers.

These multi ledger tokens are a new phenomenon in the scene. Origins can be traced back to Colored Coins. Colored Coins have been a novelty in the Bitcoin scene as they popped up in about 2015[6]. These are a collection of coins that use the metadata of Bitcoin transactions to host instructions for their own currency. The new multi-ledger tokens are tokens that use metadata of multiple blockchains to record transactions of their own currency. The consensus mechanisms of the ‘hijacked’ blockchains validate the transactions of the multi ledger token, which eliminates the need for a new chain.

Hybrix has a history of promoting collaboration between chains. Founder Joachim de Koning explains: ”We see hybrix as a way to connect what’s happening on the isolated networks of existing DLTs and improve decentralization, without giving in on security or usability.”

According to Forrester Research’s 2020 Predictions[7], enterprises utilizing blockchain should switch their focus toward integrating distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) with legacy data systems and ensure they can communicate with other external blockchains. This advice is part of a set of predictions which highlight several upcoming challenges for the nascent electronic ledger technology. The multi ledger tokens are an excellent chance for companies to venture into the realm of interoperability.

I couldn't call it unfair. There are lots of big projects that held a signature campaign here with only high ranks involved. This is the first time I saw someone got a problem with that. It's not an obligation of any company to accept all ranks. The brand also accepted many users during its first signature campaign. they have the prerogative to accept what level of user they want as this is their project. also, if you can see several sig campaigns promoting gambling sites, they are really more into hero/legendary levels. I don't see this as unfair as they are the ones paying those participants and if they see that their campaign will be effective by hiring those kind of users, then they can do so.

I think you should develop a new chrome, Firefox extension for the wallet. So, this won't be necessary to use the website. Also, creating a new andriod/IOS application can be useful.
Also, in my own idea after giving the tokens to bounty hunters the price will dump.

It is best to use the https://wallet.hybrix.io, as it is the most maintained version of the wallet atm :-)

They look same. You can try it by yourself, just use same login and pass.
Hybrix wallet is still far from being perfect. Without hardware support, it loses huge amount of users. And why it is called “safest”, when the only protection is a password.

If this project is really solid, they will increase their price later on. But if it will continue to drop and will not recover, then another weak platform in the making. But from the looks of it, hybrix has good foundation so hopefully, they can recover their worth in the market.

Anyone else having problems transferring HY from erc-20 wallet to bike.cc exchange ? Even with 0.002 transactions fee (46k gas) the transaction is failed to be transferred. Don't understand, is it ethereum network problem, or something with the tokens contract?

We at hybrix are working hard towards the new HY protocol, which will be able to travel seamlessly between blockchains, championing interoperability in an coin/chain agnostic way, with a very easy to meet set of criteria for being able to link a specific chain to the hy protocol. Just wait and see!

The mission of hybrix is great but are they really attracting users to use their services? They have been in this market for quite a while, I am curious how are they in terms of users? I logged into the new Hybrix wallet today for the first time ever -- seems to work fairly decently. I was pleasantly surprised to see a balance of HY tokens that pretty much corresponds with exactly how much I invested in the ICO, back in 2017... I had already cashed out a few .XHY tokens over the years and got my investment back so this was an extra bonus for me.

I have one question: why are the places for both HY and ETH.HY tokens? It makes it looks like I have 2 separate balances. I know HY says "hybrix unified asset" and ETH.HY says "hybrix multi-chain asset"... Is the idea that HY can be transferred to multiple blockchains, and is known as ETH.HY for the purposes of Ethereum?
