many effects that occur due to the spread of the virus that until now there has been no cure (report from WHO), not only deaths and economic changes have occurred due to the spread of this virus, but also many others;

• 1. Kab'ah empty
  this is one of the extraordinary effects because we know that the Kab'ah is never empty by worshipers who want to worship (even during renovations).
• 2. Prices of spare parts (electronic devices & vehicles) are rising
  China is famous for its counterfeit goods (KW) and cheapness, as a result of the spread of this virus many countries have shut down (export-import) to or from China.
• 3. the appearance of strange greetings "Leg Shaking"
  many people and even state officials are afraid to touch hands (shaking hands) so they do "Leg Shaking" to still be able to maintain intimacy and avoid contracting the coronavirus.

Yes then the money won't be the problem anymore  ;D , people should know that the money is able to spread more diseases and viruses compared to a crowded bus or taxi .
People won't just leave money , it is really essential so doing the online transactions might be the key to protecting yourself and your family members for the time being.
Bitcoins can be very useful in the international transactions .

This can help to prevent other people from using Paper Money (Fiat Currency) Especially when paying their bills and you have to leave the house to fall in line with those offices to pay.

And it is risky to our safety because we are exposed to many people where we are at high risk of contracting the virus. So hopefully the government has taken a step towards this.

Not to argue the use of bitcoin, say a solution to solve to prevent being infected by covid-19 using cash, but more people keep using online banking already through their mobile banking apps and some digital wallets (Gcash, Paymaya) here in my place rather than bitcoin itself, but of course, there are some, like me using it, especially paying bills, online shopping, etc.

Cash is such an insignificant vector for the spread of this (or any other) disease, there's no need to panic about it, just was your hands after handling cash and you will be fine. We won't see any big increase in BTC adoption because of the virus, people will use credit cards more if they'll have to, but otherwise everyone will keep using cash. And you overestimate how much regular people care about this virus, most people in the world don't even wash their hands as much as they should.

Agree, been using my bitcoin and bank apps for transactions of my bills to save me time and the hassle of going on line. I don't want to say this, but maybe many people are too imaginative on how to used crypto specially when we thought that it can spread out thru paper bills. And there are a lot of people around the world who don't have a clue to what crypto is, so I doubt that we will suddenly see a surge of usage just because of the covid-19 pandemic.

I wonder how much filth is on the average banknote vs the buttons on a card payment machine. The cash could've been laying dormant for days. A card machine in a supermarket will have been fingered by people who've been fingering rancid rent boys ten minutes before. I'll be using a pencil from now on if it goes above the contactless limit.

Uhh virtual banking bro. Bitcoin is way too young atm. Not enough to fill the void of not using fiat currency. Especially with how only there are a few number of mediums out there that accept BTC as payment. Also, using Bitcoin as a solution for transactions IS NOT gonna fix the problems of factories closing down ( temporarily) and the weird leg shaking greeting officials do.

In essence, this isn't even a solution to the problem. The virus is still there, and even if transactions were done online ( which I'm pretty sure most of the people who know about it do it), the virus could still spread in different avenues.

so i can see the appeal of getting groceries and other goods delivered directly to your home, rather than braving crowded marketplaces right now. i would avoid crowds and shopping in general.

the thing is you don't need bitcoin to do that. amazon, primenow, instacart, etc all work with credit cards and the gamut of electronic payment methods. the OP is really reaching. the coronavirus isn't gonna increase bitcoin adoption.

Bitcoin is an option when something like this happens, but it is not the only one. We have several other online payment options, of course. But we really have to do away with hard cash for now, and even cards, certificates, stubs, and anything that will require people to make contact with one another. Accordingly, the virus may actually settle in the fibers of money or paper. That is why paper bills are already passing through a disinfection process before released to the public once again. But if possible, people should just choose online or crypto payments.  

Anyway, I am seeing how COVID-19 is shaking the world in a way. If I may add some effects of COVID-19 to the world's day to day life.

• Classes are suspended.
• Flights are cancelled.
• Conferences, seminars, training, meet-ups, and even nationwide exams are either postponed or cancelled.
• Stocks and replacements of goods are drained.
• Religious services have been cancelled or done online.
• Tourism hits the bottom.
• Discrimination are somehow awakened.
• Panic buying of masks, disinfectants, and even food.
• Unemployment is rising.
• Shares are falling in many countries.
• Streets, markets, parks, etc. are deserted.

Today one of the widely spreading news is the coronavirus many people today are getting affected with this virus, and one of the cause is the food they eat like bat, insects, and more that always migrate into different places and becomes a host to that disease and that is start into Wuhan, China and now spreading all over the world because there are some people came from the affected country and transfer into another one also this kind of disease is airborne so it can be touched into different objects like the money, we can infect quickly now with moving money, and it is better if we are going to use the cryptocurrency or the digital currency to pay or transfer funds to avoid having a direct contact with the things of the infected person; also it is good to buy a bitcoin and use this to buy a lot of things we need to do because it is more faster and efficient than the traditional way of paying and we are also avoiding the virus.

But how sure are we that it is only Bitcoin which is the solution to this problem? There are online banking and other digital currencies so how come that we should expect Bitcoin will be the only medium given that there are still countries to which it is not yet recognized as an official currency to be used in online services due to its market price instability. There could be a time where Bitcoin would be the main medium but not as this early. There will be further developments for such thing to happen.
There are just these people who are becoming absurd when it comes to Bitcoin. We do recognize Bitcoin as a helpful currency but we cannot disregard its flaws. Bitcoin still is under the process of development and with that being said, we cannot fully make use of it at this point other than a form of investment.

So you're pretty much saying that Bitcoin is the only way we can transact in a cashless manner? I mean, I'm a huge ass bitcoin bull in the long term but you might want to think realistically. Government has digital currency as well and it being used by all people in my opinion. And they will use first their money fiat in form digital currency for payment system. Indeed, bitcoin and altcoin can be used as a solution as well with one note government can accept the using of cryptocurrencies as a payment system in their country. This virus is very horrible, its transmission is very fast and a lot of media that can be transmitted including through money.

Though we don't like this kind of situation from happening again, but this is a good example where the usage of crypto is inevitable. Less contact with your local fiat which has been changed hands so many times you don't even know how many people have been touching that paper money. However, the percentage of people that know how to transact with crypto is very small so maybe this time, they will try to explore the possibility of using digital currencies. Consequently, it may drive mass adoption.

If virus can really be transmitted via fiat money then we need to stay away from it as long as the virus is still there especially if there are no cure yet. Digital assets will be the best solution for, crypto is already there and any of the governments can temporarily use it in order to at least lessen the virus effect in their respective countries.

China, Iran and South Korea should make a bold move right now if they want to fight the virus. Once the virus will be eliminated then they can just use their fiat immediately but right now bitcoin and other digital assets will be the right option to choose for them.

People will not start using Bitcoin just because of corona virus. You forget that many people still don't know that Bitcoin exists and that will not change over night.
They will not give up fiat money and id they will not use it in physical way they still have credit cards.

There's really a chance though. It's just that it won't really happen in a snap of a finger. It's just going to take time. A LOT of time. Bitcoin's liquidity is simply not there yet. But in the future? Maybe. Time will tell.

Physical cash is one of the main routes for Coronavirus transmission. The banknotes and coins are being used by dozens of individuals every week and the virus remains in them and contaminates who ever touches them. There were reports from China about the government burning banknotes, in a bid to contain the spread of the virus. I even read about reports where the government was planning to ban physical cash altogether, so that the virus spread could be slowed down.

You're right, it's not that easy and brief to make cryptocurrency generally accepted by many people, it takes time and complex education.  but I think "ready or not", the world government must start to educate about cryptocurrencies because "Stable Coins"can already be one of the legal payment instruments.

Bitcoin is a good thing to pay for stuff without touching anything. There are more than 700 cases in France, and I am starting to wonder whether this could push to the decision of recognizing Bitcoin as legal money there... As for other effects, it's quite terrible. We were organizing a conference at our university which was supposed to happen in less than two weeks, but two days ago an official statement banning conferences and other events that unite many people in one place... I just wish Bitcoin could help with stuff like that as well, I guess  ;D

The plague caused by the Covid 19 virus really needs to be watched out, but remember, do not spread panic but provide useful information and provide as much help as possible to prevent the expansion of this outbreak. In fact, even though this is quite dangerous, many people who contract the virus can recover. By implementing a healthy lifestyle and good hygiene habits can reduce the risk of contracting.

Regarding the use of cryptocurrency to prevent transmission of the virus by contact using money media, I think there is already an e-money that is more effective and widely used. Many effectiveness is superior, including the legality, so there is no need to rush to use bitcoin, in fact, there are still many people who do not understand.

I believe everyone is definitely aware of the dangers and spread of Corona Virus but certainly bitcoin is not the ideal solution to be used as payment method globally. This is likely to keep the network full of unconfirmed transactions. However, it can be used in areas that have been hit seriously like China, Korea, italy, France etc.

I'm still not sure I understand the hysteria over all this.  Normal flu has potentially contributed to killing hundreds of thousands of people (https://www.who.int/news-room/detail/14-12-2017-up-to-650-000-people-die-of-respiratory-diseases-linked-to-seasonal-flu-each-year) each year, but that's not on the news every day. 

Plus, as others have said, there's likely very little impact on Bitcoin in terms of adoption because people supposedly don't want to handle physical cash.  I think people are just looking for an excuse to be bullish on speculation.

Are you saying that the internet is just over reacting to corona virus? cause this is definitely true that there are plenty of people dying jsut because of a simple flu and not being reported on the news, but the fact that the virus is news people should be aware of it. In our country, if you pay those bills manually you need to go to their outlet with lots of people and mostly crowded that will make you prone to be infected with the coronavirus. Thankfully, we have coins.ph that will let us pay those bills with bitcoin without going out to their outlets and at the same time we can get some cash back with its current promotions.

I think there is a proper procedure on how the government should burn the cash or money that is circulating in their economy. First, they need to identify serial numbers and records it, once they've recorded it, that is the time they could add a volume to an existing cryptocurrency if they have it. Mainly to avoid confusion and creation of money that could result to huge inflation rate and might affect their economy negatively.

As an alternative to transactions using cash, bitcoin isn't the only one we should consider, but to think and choose most appropriate currency and I think the best option is to create one that will be best suited for one's financial economy.

You can't just neglect money. Bank notes are one of the dirtiest thing people touch everyday. They carry different viruses, bacteria and other microbes that gets transferred from one person to another. The case of coronavirus is another reason why we should totally ban cash. Though doing that may make it easier for the government to prohibit it's people from trading and transacting crypto with fiat.

Corona has been detected in Bangladesh too. 3 people were found infected in our country. Bangladesh is in a very risky position for this type of virus and can go epidemic within couple of days because of the lifestyle of Bangladeshi people. How can Bangladeshi use crypto while most of the people have no idea about this? However, the recent inflation may at least force people to find alternate of fiat.

COVID-19 has been affecting the world since its discovery - big time. Yes, Bitcoin can be one of the tools for safer and healthier transaction. Since it is digital, it doesn't require contact or touch and doesn't require you to travel. Okay, so I suppose it being more infectious than the flu means it's potentially more dangerous.  But it sounds as though flu and Covid-19 will have similar outcomes in that those who have it will generally only die if they have pre-existing conditions or already frail immune systems.  Almost like both illnesses are sharing the same pool of potential victims.

Maybe there is a chance that bitcoin can be a solution for the transactions in able to many countries to lessen the spreading of the coronavirus because this coronavirus or just spreading through physical contact and may be airborne we are using digital transactions or mobile banking if then probably will be able to lessen the chance spreading the virus all over the world or in some countries. I agree that fiat cash is likely to spread more of the COVID-19 and it would be better to use payment methods which does not include any external physical touch. Though bitcoin is a good payment method to tackle this issue, there are still many countries which do not accept BTC.
BTC can surely be used but online payment systems already exists which transfers fiat money directly to the person's bank account.

If the system fall because of the pandemic, neither Bitcoin or there cryptocurrencies won't matter anymore. Pandemic could disrupt the coal industry, electric power systems and everything that depends on it, including you access to the internet.

The truth remains that sick people don't show interest in business and dead people don't go into business. The world is truly sick at this time now and that makes me question how Bitcoin becomes a solution to transactions. Oil price has plunged drastically because of Coronavirus that has affected many the so many countries that patronize oil. Even the crypto market isn't spared with total market cap dropping from over $300billion to $220billion at the moment. It's really a difficult moment for all as it sands now.

I also do not care about the wealth or even the Bitcoin that I have, I have 2 children and 1 wife that I love very much.. The core issue I discuss here is "How should government policy control the spread of the Covid-19 virus".  in my country they (the government) distribute masks and hand sanitizers for free but whether it has been effective in suppressing the spread of the virus??   when you go to a traditional supermarket you will find that very dirty banknotes are circulating there!!

Yes you’re right, but right now there are lots of things that you can’t do with Bitcoin, I don’t know if it’s the same for other countries but that’s how it is where I live, though there is not much cases of Covid-19 virus, just only two people are with the virus, but everyone is still being careful so they are now making use of mobile banking apps.

There is more you can do with these mobile banking apps than with Bitcoin. When you open the banking app you will be able to use it to pay your bills – electricity bills, water bills, etc. But if you’re using Bitcoin you can’t do most of these, and there are no places where you can spend with Bitcoin like restaurants, and shopping malls. I heard in China people now mainly make use of WeChat Pay.

Well,  I wouldn't agree with you. People would rather have their money as fiat funds than in bitcoin at the period of Global pandemic , because there's not limitation to fiat transactions unlike cryptocurrency. People,  especially those in counties with total economic lock down need as possible their money easily assessed.

Well, as COVID-19 has no cured yet, many people are afraid of going outside just to do some transactions in real life, they are afraid of purchasing some goods and stuffs because of being afraid to be attached from other people, so they are also afraid of using fiat currency so the best option that they can use is the cryptocurrency, but the problem is some countries do not still accept bitcoins and different cryptocurrency in their land so they can't still use it, I hope that this situation will be a lesson fro everyone especially to the officials that they should really accept the bitcoin because it can be alternative to fiat currency when some crisis happens again.

I guess this depends per country to country, some countries does not have good adoption with crypto, so crypto can't help them and I don't expect they'll try to educate themselves during this pandemic we are experiencing now.

People in developed countries, maybe this would really help them since bitcoin has good liquidity and they can exchange their fiat to bitcoin (vice versa).

This paper currency is much more prefered to use by many people than online payment.
For example here in my country all do more people know and adopt crypto currency there are only few or sometime no department store accept crypto as mode of payment . How will you buy things food that you need using crypto/ bitcoin if they dont want to accept it as payments.

People will prefer the convenience of using fiat because they can easily used it as a payment method to provide their needs. Bitcoin may be beneficial, but we can't change the fact that some people aren't even aware that a digital currency existed. The virus can be easily transmitted through contact with infected person and bitcoin may help to stop spreading of the said virus, but people will surely choose the currency they grow up with and the currency that will help them purchase goods and services on different stores.

I do not think people will be interested in using BTC instead of Fiat. Fiat has more acceptance than BTC around the globe and in crisis situation people tend to keep fiat handy.

Almost all fiat currency can be traced digitally, therefore I do not see the use of Bitcoin in such a situation. In my country we generally use mobile wallets that are connected to our bank account at local stores.

Lockdown is a great time to teach what bitcoin is to someone who closes to you. They have more time to understand what exactly bitcoin and how the function. I have doing it right now, send them an image about bitcoin and if they have more interest I'll call them and give them an article about bitcoin and thus far it still going work. Actually, my final intention is not they use bitcoin as payment system for the first time, but I tried to teach them how benefit from bitcoin if they have it. You need to understand what kind of country in question. In different parts of the world, bitcoin has a different development and a different degree of influence on the economy. For example, in the USA, during self-isolation, bitcoin will be a good way to pay for remote purchases, and accordingly its price will increase.

Well, paper money ain't safe from a country that records thousands of infected people. This paper money might have been in contact with an infected person and pass it from one person to another. The other alternative would be using credit and debit cards for safety purposes.
Bitcoin has not been widely accepted from most of the merchants and stores, so I guess using Bitcoin as a mod of payment isn't applicable to all of the countries, specially the third world country who only have a handful of businesses that accepts Bitcoin.

Coronavirus is spreading all over the world very quickly. It is very Infectious Diseases and our government also warned that coronavirus can spread through money. Coronavirus can alive on paper for a few hours. So Bitcoin is a solution for transactions but it can not apply overnight. People who do not have any knowledge about Bitcoin, we can learn them about bitcoin and encourage them to use it. I was thinking about this the other day. I hate using notes as it is and the virus just gives me even more reason not to want to touch it. Its filthy stuff. The virus can live for 24 hours until it dies so that is a long time to stay active if the notes exchange hands often and I think that touching banknotes is just as bad as shaking hands. Bitcoin is best suited but not mainstream enough so people should use credit cards.

I have seen the news about paying for water and electrical bills using digital payment such as GCash and PayMaya. Probably, if they know Bitcoin, then they would be given a very big help. Yeah that's for sure, bitcoin is a really good means for making transactions these days and I have been making use of it in situations where it's possible. The only downside is that there isn't much places where bitcoin is being accepted as a payment. When I go to stores I'm asked to make payments with my banking app or to scan their QR codes, some of them even request for my debit card which is one thing I don't like and have avoided those stores.

I do agree on this. Many people prefer to use mobile wallets and banking apps here in the Philippines. People prefer to not spend cash during transactions using this apps and another thing, it is very accessible and is easy to use. It is also popular because of the advertisements unlike bitcoin and other cryptos that are not so famous here in our country. That's so right, this virus has opened then eyes of many leaders about the flaws of using Fiat currency. Making transactions digital is the way to go and I think the US and China might be the first two countries to go digital with their own cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, none has disclosed his intentions of using Bitcoin as their payment mode.

We might see fiat currency disadvantaged with this kind of situation but the question is, are we ready to use the alternatives? Well, It isn't really as you say it. This is because even tho we don't have to make physical contact when making payments for stuffs, how do we pay for little things? Things like the bread you buy in a nearby store, etc. To me, if we want it, we have to promote bitcoin so people can know more about it, start using it, and we all can enjoy it.

Bitcoin isn't suited for everyday transactions currently. For example, buying food, and necessary items. If you're fine with going through a third party similar to that of Paypal then most places are capable of purchasing from with Bitcoin. Another alternative is going to people on the services section, and asking for users to purchase items via fiat, in return for Bitcoin. Unfortunately, most companies aren't accepting Bitcoin natively, and will be reluctant to accept it for as long as there is a unstable, and unpredictable market. There are other alternatives to Purse that are local specific so if you search your country, and a payment merchant for Bitcoin you'll probably find something.

It could have been like that if those governments had supported the use of bitcoin on each of their respected countries but they went into extreme where some banned the use of it and some don't do anything about it. Now they are thinking about how they can use it in this kind of situation but its already late. The COVID 19 outbreak has given a reason for the authorities to cut back on the use of physical cash. And I am not very happy about this. even if we use digital money like Paypal, Paytren, Skrill, and others, our identity will be tracked. there are only a few countries that are technologically and educational quality of the people, are able to use Bitcoin for transactions, maybe not now but in a few decades, Bitcoin sure will be able to be used in micro transactions.

I just hope people think like that. People in this forum would be thinking that using bitcoin will be massive at this time since it would avoid being in contact with people but in reality, it is not happening. People holding bitcoin, and focussing more on how they would be able to maximize their profit. People using another payment method like in our country, coins.ph, and other mobile payments. At some points, I might agree with what you said that Bitcoin is the solution for transactions.

However in our country, Bitcoin isn't accepted widely in the establishments so instead of using Bitcoin to pay something especially the bills we choose to convert it into PHP thru an online app (coins.ph) and we will use the online app to pay our bills. This is the solution for us in order to continue our transactions but still Bitcoin played a big role there. Probably these applies to some people here that are living in my country too where I live who are earning BTC here thru signature campaigns.

I can't say at this moment that Bitcoin is really the solutions for transactions for now. What others are doing is they are converting BTC into their own currency and that is what they are using for transactions.

It is more safe to do transactions in bitcoin than via cash or credit cards. But the problem is not many people uses bitcoin and they are not aware of it. Few days back I wanted to pay someone in bitcoins but he was insisting on cash because he didn't knew about bitcoin and therefore he does not trust digital currency.

You are right, a credit card is one of the payment solutions, but to have a credit card is very difficult, many conditions must be met by people who want to make a credit card, and usually those who are middle-class who have a credit card. so I don't think credit cards are a solution for now..

First if the merchant is putting an interest on what you have bought to their shop coz there are who have interest rates. Secondly credit cards do have a credit limit and it depends on the type of wage you are earning, not ideal to those under the middle class. Third is that we don't know how the pandemic will last.

Maybe we should start it after we get rid of this virus coz every government now are focus on how to find cure to the virus and eradicate it.

The problem is that Bitcoin is not that popular. So in most cases, if you want to make payment with Bitcoin, then you need to purchase gift cards that are denominated in fiat cash first. There are very few options for doing direct payment with BTC or any other cryptocurrency. And regarding the safety part, let's not forget the fact that Bitcoin is not 100% safe from wallet hacking.

Considering the ongoing situation bitcoin can also be used as one of the medium for transaction same as that's mentioned in the op. To the expectation we don't have the real life situation more advanced with most of the people and Store authorities having knowledge on cryptocurrencies and its accessibility.

Now there were more and more number of online wallets. These wallets help in making transaction using the smartphones. This way we can avoid the contact of hands which is the major reason for virus spreading.

Bitcoin is a shit with regards to transaction over-all. The transaction speed is very slow and the fee is not convenient at all when you are doing micro-transaction, not all people have gadgets and internet. Yes, I am bitcoin holder and I like bitcoin cause of it's monetary value and t's good for trading, but when you are going to use it in daily basis for canned transaction it is so hassle and not convenient.

If having a chance of course i will choose having Bitcoin and also crypto currencies to use for transacting but the problem is we only have limited option to use this great and ranked number 1 currency?
what about transaction did not take so long?if you already used Bitcoin then you know that this is much faster than any other transaction in the world.

The biggest problem that the world is currently facing at this time is covid-19 which has spreaded over every country and lakhs of patients have been affected by this virus.The only way to be safe from this is remaining quarantine and not coming into contact of other due to which chain can be increased.This is panademic attack which has brought recession in global economy levels.This has decreased the level of fiat trading by a significant levels and most of the people are moving towards digital modes of payment to pay for neccessary items like grocery,bills,electricity or any other item as they prefer to stay home to be safe.But the case is still lot of people are using online banking facilities and only involved in crypto trading are making use of bitcoin.But the reason behind it is fees and less technical knowledge among people but this is a step where decentralized currencies have been used by large population and will keep on growing.So lets hope more people get used to these crypto coins and prices boost after this is finished.

Well for some instance, people are now doing online transactions yet using fiat money or their countries' currencies in doing so, but yeah, bitcoin can also be used specially of those who have it. I use it on paying my bills, buying loads, online shopping, and etc so, yeah it is really indeed a solution for transactions while we are on this pandemic.

It can be one solution for transaction only for those who lives where it is legal to use it for payment method. In countries where it is illegal to use bitcoin as a payment method, so it is only possible to be used for peer to peer transaction. Even if we lives in a country where we are allowed to use bitcoin as payment method but in fact not everything can be paid by bitcoin.

I keep thinking about this idea but somehow the ignorance of most people will make this too impossible. I mean we cannot simply transact to every one since not every one is capable of sending and receiving bitcoin, there are only a few that use it for their daily expenses. I vote for bitcoin, as an alternative to fiat currency during these days to avoid physical contact because of the virus.

Because of this global event ( Corona Virus) there are many people suffering right now. Due to the fact that all the things that involves in economics, transformation, jobs and even other works that may help people to live peacefully. This virus affects even buying for some goods without contact through other people since viruses can transfer through touching things that has affected of this viruses. So Bitcoin (crypto currency) is one of the useful way in order to buy good's and services such as paying bills and I think this is very helpful for us for this pandemic event.

Well said mate, as what we are now experiencing, as pandemic virus still existing all over the world we are all required to stay at home and do not go outside for unreasonable thing and to make some of our transaction works we can use bitcoin or other cryptocurrency if we wanted to. We are now the 21st century and most of the things happen in real life can be done through the use of the internet such as transactions of paying bills, paying internet bills, loads, buying foods, movies, etc. Bitcoin will be our way to prevent this pandemic virus spreading around the world.

Indeed, there are so many digital wallets we can use to store our money and use it for some purposes if we wanted to so the best thing that bitcoin can do is just to invest and to trade.

Specially in my homeland i see a kinda of shops are didn’t accepted bitcoin. Here FIAT money is solution in the epidemic COVID-19 also others normal day. But right now virtual payment are highly recommend, no way go to bank for paper money, last previous two months i am using only digital transaction but which i converted FIAT to Virtual when corona virus are outbreak.             

In most of the countries bitcoin is not legal or the government is not clear in declaring bitcoins legal or illegal and that's the reason we do not find bitcoin to be vastly used for transactions. People who do not want to deal with cash (paper money), mostly use bank accounts for sending and receiving the payments.

although actually the method of payment by bitcoin is one solution but it is true said friends above that there are still many countries have not yet determined that bitcoin is a legal transaction. more people still use fiat for payment matters and if there is also possible with bank transactions with internet banking or ATM (Automatic Teller Machine). bitcoin is only done for something else or if for payment they usually exchange first with fiat to make transactions easier.
 

but with this pandemic situation, i believe a lot are already checking out on bitcoin or crypto. just to check if this will be a viable alternative method for their usual payment method. and definitely those businesses that wanted to add additional payment method may consider crypto this time. though the adoption will not come easy but once they experienced how to transact with bitcoin, they might change their minds towards crypto. sometimes all is need is actual experience to change ones minds towards something that is not familiar with them

I don't see any promotional or even link spreading to create awareness on bitcoin during this pandemic since the one I see is the economical upset and shifting to gold and other things but with bitcoins I don't see any. But maybe those who are into bitcoins are coming back but I think pandemic will not contribute to the fame of bitcoins, Maybe there are other crypto guys who influenced their families during their quarantine but I think it's small numbers only.
