This auction will have 13 lots which I will list underneath and will consist of the Clubs only.

What is included in each lot is as follows

1x Unique .999 solid silver playing card
1x Polymerbit first ever COA, done on a polymer medium
1x Magnetic acrylic case
1x Polishing rag
All of which will arrive contained within a black gusseted envelope

These .999 silver playing cards are the standard poker size, rounded up (65mmx 90mm) and are 0.5mm thick. This is the closest dimensions i could use to achieve a weight of very close to 1oz. They did not arrive to me in a polished state so I have done my very best to get them to as close to a mirror finish as possible.

There WILL be imperfections on these cards due to the fact they have been hand polished! I have done my best to get the finish to as high a level as possible, they absolutely DO have a mirror finish but at the same time, because of the nature of them being hand finished please dont expect a machine perfect and defect free card!  The silver, because it was rolled, has lots of tiny dimples which are impossible to remove without the removed pieces getting caught on the polishing mop and dragging across the surface. I have been as open about the finish on these as possible and got the photographer to try his best to make sure these flaws are visible in the pictures taken.

Each card takes about 6 hours total machine time to make and is done by use of a fiber laser. The design was lifted from an existing set of playing cards and has been changed, not only to include the Bitcoin B, but also to incorporate the circuitry which serves as the digital theme.

On each card, EVERY pip has the circuitry design on it which can be seen quite clearly under a magnifying glass, it is very very fine detail and is almost undetectable to the human eyeball!  Please note, that i know this is a Diamond pip, however, the same circuitry is imbedded within the clubs too....

The COA provided in the package was done by Polymerbit on the forum and is made, funnily enough, from polymer. It is a work of art in itself and as far as I am aware, is the first COA that they have done. It is absolutely beautiful

Something else which I think is noteworthy is that all of these cards have been sent to the Edinburgh Assay office for testing and each one bears my unique hallmark, the 999 to verify purity and the logo for the Edinburgh office itself. This is VERY small and i have done my best to picture it here....

Hey philipma157 please stop this style of bidding and going back to edit your original post. It is very much frowned down upon here when auctions are hosted.
Corrosive more than likely has one or two very capable people watching the auction while he is away that will periodically update the thread with current bids on each lot. If everybody were doing this it would become a disaster!
All you need to make sure of is that you're bidding a proper increment on the previous lot and it will take care of itself!

Also this is a lot like a shill bid done on last day to help seller.

I think this is not a good thing to do bid on every card on the last day.

I know you may not be doing a shill bid but it looks like a shill bid to me.

In general, it's better for bidders to wait until the end in order to maximize the chance of getting a lower price on their desired lots.

Assuming gabe wanted all the cards, this isn't out of the question. Just take a look at the previous auction threads and you'll see the psychology play out. :)

EDIT : I have been thinking of owning atleast one card when it was announced last year. But they went for justified prices which was way above my buying threshold price. Finally with the decrease of bitcoin prices, many of such collectibles were selling in extremely disappointing prices. Either way, I was lucky enough to win atleast one card which would be of killer beauty when I receive them.  8)

In my scheme to scare DaveF away from the 3 of clubs I went in on his J of clubs which I ended up winning. As I am fine with having this card I am also fine not having it as the K/8 were my target.
For transparency sake DaveF will be taking my high bid of 0.037BTC on the J of clubs.
This saves shipping/customs costs between us if we nip it right now.
If something happens and DaveF changes his mind I will make payment and take this card without question.
This post is for transparency and will be discussed further with Corrosive in PM.

I am fine with taking it for the bid of .037 so long as Corrosive posts here or in PM that he is OK with it I will pay for the 3/10/J all at once.

Itl be a little while tbh. The current state of affairs did not do the previous auction any favours at all. Il buy the silver soon but I wont be doing the hearts for at least another month, and that's before i start on them. Truth be told, i actually made a big fat loss on these, which is great for buyers but tied with the big dip in BTC value, i simply can't go ahead with the expenses associated with a run of hearts right now.

Do you mean you took a loss overall on all 3 sets or just on the clubs?

It's kind of hard to guess how the last one will turn out.
Will you get more / higher bids because it's someones last chance to get one or will you get less because they wanted 4 of a kind and that got blown when DaveF took their 10 so they don't bid?

If you have taken a loss on just the clubs so far then figure out your cost beginning to end for the process add in a bit for shipping and a few % for a profit then divide by 13 and that is the starting bid.
Yeah BTC could take a dive between when you start and when the bidding ends, that's always a risk. But it could also spike up and then you are in a better place.

If you have taken a loss on all 3 so far then you might be better off just selling them w/o an auction for the price that works for you. I am sure they will all sell, it might take longer, but you know you made your money back.

The first 2 auctions done pretty well. All in all, the 3 sets are net positive but the 3rd one really brought it back to nearly being break even.

 I cant complain if im honest, yes stacking sats is great but I love doing these type of projects and getting my stuff out there. Seeing all you guys get the cards in your hands is tremendously satisfying and to me that's actually kinda priceless....

Il do the last auction in the exact same format with a zero starting bid, nothing will change in that respect. If it goes the same way then so be it, I aint gonna gouge the very guys who bid on my goods just so i can walk away with mad gains. The community set the price on these and im happy with that arrangement!
