Title: Just want to say bi.
Post by: CryptoCutter on March 09, 2020, 05:08:54 PM
I'm a Nigerian prince with great opportunity to early signal Bitcoin Mining come to my telegram, call my WhatsApp# 5BTC every hour, great hacker program, forex trading, 3 great tips your bank doesn't want you to know about, Allah blessed this altcoin, Buddah money bags to first 50 people to sign up using referral link, passive income program, crypto guru investing opportunity: D

Ahh, that feels good.
I'm a moderator on a Facebook crypto page and I needed to dump that emotional baggage somewhere:D

I been hearing about this Bitcointalk for awhile, if I don't get banned for the above statements I'll be interested in talking shop, I'm learning to code and I need all the resources I can get my hands on, my only concern is everyone is obnoxiously tribal to BTC and wont work with DeFi on Ethereum.

Not true. Yes, there are BTC maximalists, but most of this forum is about high gain low risk, and some alts fit right into that (ETH).
As for the Nigerian price part, dude, where's my inheritance?

If you are a scammer you will get banned. If you are simply promoting some altcoin, you do it in the altcoin section of the forum.

That's no tribalism, this forum was made for Bitcoin. Did you even know who made Bitcoin? Same person made this forum.

Did you even notice the name of the forum?

Fail to abide by the rules and you will get what you deserve.

Besides, good-bi might be a more formal way to say it than simply, bi.

That's not true. Somehow I got scammed by a guy who was reported before for being a scam

Welcome to bitcointalk. Happy to be your first connection. It's already enough that your post is not a low quality one with
"will bitcoin go up?" kind of thing.

Pay attention to scammers, make meaningful contributions and you'll earn merits. With merits & activity comes a higher rank.

With a higher rank you become more trusted and get more features like posting cool images

Not quite.  We do get our panties in a bunch when someone tries to peddle BCH or <gasp> BSV as "the real Bitcoin."  It's deceptive and dangerous to folks who are just getting into cryptocurrency.  Other than that there's no stigma against altcoins, or the fork coins for that matter.

Welcome - you won't be banned for most things here - short of death threats.

If you want to be taken seriously, I believe you should verify your FB Crypto claim.  :)

But first, what did you mean when said "bi."? Binary?

Look at the context, and what letters are close on the keyboard.  :)

Indeed, there are a lot of people obsessed with Bitcoin. However, in bitcointalk you are going to see a huge portion of people that is not interested only in Bitcoin but in a whole decentralized ecosystem as well.
In my opinion, Ethereum is not the right place to build a DeFi app. You should better look into other chains such as Maker.
