I made plenty of mistakes which proved costly. Some basic suggestions to help you prevent loss: - Don't get greedy. If it's too good to be true, then it most likely is. - Don't panic. If you can't afford to lose it, don't play. - Never preorder. Anything more than 2 weeks for delivery gets an automatic pass. - Store only a small percentage of your coins online. The rest goes in cold storage. - Be very careful in choosing who you deal with. Deal with only people you can trust. Use escrow if you're not 100% sure. - Research thoroughly before investing.
