Title: [scammed] Need some suggestions.
Post by: Rohan Kotkar on March 15, 2020, 04:40:25 AM
Recently, I made a deal with @ICO_Services on telegram.
He gave me a project which involved Graphical design of unmodified whitepaper.

The project is named as "GlobalLottery"

I designed their whitepaper and even worked on minute changes requested by him.
I already charged a way cheaper as it was my first project to work on but at the last I was left un-replied with no pay.
I think that he is the whole and sole owner of that project and might have shady intentions to scam other users as well and hence it made me create this thread just to burst him.

Link to the whitepaper I designed: https://graphicalwhitepaper.000webhostapp.com/GlobalLotteryWPv1.0ENG.pdf
Link to their website: http://globallottery.io/

I've got the entire screenshots of the chat history including the changes he asked me to make, etc.

I know that it is almost impossible for me to get my wages payed but yet I would like to know if by any chance can there be any way to get my wages back to me?
It takes a lot of efforts to work on the designs and it demotivates me if something like this happens.
I almost spent 5+ hours on that whitepaper including the corrections.

Please can anyone suggest me what can I do in this situation?

Can you do a screencast of the chat history and also post the Telegram ID of the user in here. Add this bot @userinfobot then forward a message of that user to the bot. It will return you some information including the TG ID. Feel free to post the information in here .

Do they have a bitcoinTalk profile? If yes then post it here too if no then keep an eye and if you ever discover this project in here then bring it on in this post.

All these may not help to get the reward of the job you have done but this will help the next person to be you.

Stay safe.

Cheers .

Below is the information I got from the @userinfobot
Code:
@ICO_Services
Id: 565673605
First: Mocoinaire

They do not have a bitcointalk profile yet but I am closely monitoring their movements and would update the profile here as soon as it is available. I am sure they would launch here in the coming future and I would link them to this thread as soon as they do so.

Just want to make sure no one else gets scammed from them.

The user with whom I was in contact on telegram(@ICO_Services) has 2 profiles here on this forum.
Profile 1: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1955000 ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5099468.msg49310644#msg49310644 ) active

Profile 2: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1813710 ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5182273.msg52374715#msg52374715 ) inactive

The best remedy in situations like this is to just put them on blast all over social media. They are clearly trying to raise their profile to run a long con, so out them. Go to Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, etc and blast the keywords of the project and the username all over for being a fraud. This way when people go to research the project they find your theft of services complaints. Just to rub some salt in the wound maybe make some pretty graphics for your accusations to get extra attention.
