Yes, he is right that bitcoin price has dumped badly and it is a good time to buy but I don't think the reason was simple! The world is suffering because of Corona epidemic, all the trade market has dumped, so, why not crypto? He is a very famous guy, by seeing him buying Bitcoin, many of his followers will do the same! So, I want to say to Edward, welcome back!

Either with Edward or not crypto got things cover, this is not the first time Bitcoin will die, it keeps happening over and over, the wise will see this present market as an opportunity and others will keep complaining, the choice is yours to make

Yes, it seems tempting to want to buy BTC now because of the recent dump but a dump like this has been on the wing for sometime, people have been saying the stock market is overpriced and if this trend of panic continue then the price could go lower, I was surprise when I saw the the price dumped to $3800 on Binance and another panic sale like this is likely to take the price lower than we can imagine. Do not buy on emotion and not because someone is marketing it to you

If the coronavirus pandemic and the oil price war were the two main catalysts for the price collapse, then we could see this worsen quite easily. We are still far away from the end of the pandemic, and it is expected to get much worse based on virtually all estimates.

The pandemic still can get worse, advise everyone buying was really a bad idea. The best thing, wait until there has some news from each government from all countries. Whats act their gonna make for the country, did more country lockdown their city if this still happen a lot investor/individual will try to cashout their asset for prepare economy crisis into gold.

Edward Snowden is a smart and clever man, he has seen the price of Bitcoin ever soar and the scope of businesses that accept Bitcoin payments. So he must have seen this price decline is a momentary trend and will definitely rise again, indeed this is the right time to buy bitcoin when prices are cheap

Yes, the right time for those who have lots of money, because when the price of bitcoin is getting cheaper, those who buy at that time will obviously get more and more units of bitcoin, and that will be very beneficial for those who buy with a large amount of money.

Yes, all the choices are really in each other's hands, but we also have to learn things that we don't know from experienced people before making a good decision for cryptocurrency at this time, because the opportunity is only there once and that too can only be obtained for them quickly in making an analysis and then immediately act.

Obviously his tweets will not be able to bring changes to the crypto market, because he is not a god who is able to change things with a few words, so when someone makes a tweet about the conditions of the crypto market, then we must immediately make our own analysis in various forms, so we have a comparison with the others.

You have to read it very carefully, he said he felt not necessarily he is buying bitcoin because the price is too low at that time.

So that's how I interpret his tweet, although it sounded like he is bullish, but we have to understand where the guy is coming from.

nice to know that non interested people on bitcoin are now realizing that they want to invest in bitcoin after seeing its price   .

i see nothing wrong on what he said or on his decisions and im fully supporting him  .  i hope many people or bitcoin haters are now going to do this too  . we can see that this panic/fomo trend can also do something good as some people are also being attracted suddenly on bitcoin  but i was also wishing that the price will now back to normal because the dip already lasted a long time  .

If this is actually the first time in a while he feels like he should buy bitcoin, then he has been making a bad decision all this while, it isn't only at this market crash that bitcoin should be bought, if you are an investor and only wait to buy in a dip, you will not be able to accumulate as much as possible. I buy bitcoin always, maybe not as much as I buy when the prices are low, but no matter how little it is, I make sure I do not wait so long in increasing my portfolio, it's cleverer that way, and I am not buying with more money than I can afford to lose as i have internalized that rule.

That's a good one coming from him at least it shows there are people who still value it even though he doesn't ends up buying it doesn't change a thing. However I might not be sure if the market has stabilized, thus meaning a good time to buy or if it will still dump more as there are many predictions still going on and so on. Also, the market has gone down well and this might be a good entry point for those who wants to hold for long therefore should in case the market drops more they won't be bothered as Bitcoin is more valuable than any other coin thus there is assurance of increase in price once the market settles. On the other hand, I also think it is also wise to study the market properly and even ask for opinions if in doubt to know the right time to get in.

Totally agreed. He is famous for busting that issue before and a guy with perception is truly thinking about this case. Bitcoin has plummeted a lot since the issue of corona rises. But totally out of the topic since whales are just using the issue for their manipulative activity.

His tweets didn't take any change to the market right? He's only famous in crypto market so his tweets do not mean much. We are familiar with crypto market and we are not affected by tweets like that.
Of course it will not. People should not always depend on hype, just because he is famous and he will buy some, it doesnt mean he can dragged the price up. Unless he has some whale followers who would do the pump for him.

Are you saying that Snowden are not interested on bitcoin?
Back in 2015 he was accepting bitcoin as donation already. https://cointelegraph.com/news/edward-snowden-is-accepting-bitcoin-donations-for-his-legal-defense-fund.

So he knows bitcoin very well, that's why he tweeted it so look like he is promoting it again or at least very positive on bitcoin. It's still our best interest to not believed on someone just because it looks like they are bullish on BTC, just saying.

Seeing economic conditions and also the latest news that says the Fed will inject funds with a size of more than trillions of dollars, bitcoin should be stronger and could be a safe haven alternative because of its limited supply. I think the current state of bitcoin is only temporary and in the next few months, Bitcoin is a profitable alternative to investing in the mainstrean

This dump is going to attract a lot of people in investing into bitcoins. Most of the people were regretting that they did not buy bitcoins when they were in the dip and the current dump would again serve them a opportunity to buy at the dip. I am sure that many people already might have entered the markets and many would still be waiting for some more dump before they could fill their bags.

I have personally set various take-profit orders to enter the markets and I am sure that holding for few months would get a better profit for me so I am patiently waiting for the profits which I would hardly miss. The same way, not many people want to miss this chance so even they would buy bitcoins at the dip and it would again pump the price back to normal.

I think that is what the markets are running on currently. The markets are mostly running on the FA and I think that greed and panic is really controlling the markets at the current stage. There is no need for panic as this dump was already been experienced and it would soon turn the markets green again.

Big whales would be responsible for the price pump as they have almost sold their portions at the peak which might have derived the price on the dip and now again are waiting for the price to touch the dip so that they could start buying back as much as possible. The markets are soon going to turn green so it would surely bring a lot of profits for us.

when the whale changes its system from selling to buying I think that's the time for the pump to run. they are waiting for the lowest price and start buying again. that's the way they work to get money. this market is held by people who have big capital.

For me, it is enough that Snowden is a popular figure, which means that all his words must be subjected to the maximum level of criticism.
It is not known why he makes such a tweet, his motivation is not known.

But what if tomorrow he offers a cryptocurrency draw? Obviously, this is another scam.

Personally, I’m sure that everything that Edward says will be politically motivated.

All the wise people have already got back in bitcoin below 5k levels which is great entry level and i guess it was the last big opportunity to enter for cheap. China has already controlled corona and as soon as Europe controls it all the panic will go away and moon boys will be back again.

This will be lead to a chain of whistle blowing people like him buy bitcoin, there more to come I guess, so we must be ready for the bullrun if this happens, as supply of bitcoin and other top alts will be short. This should not be taken lightly as people like them followed netizens are influencers and could bring a new change to the market.

It seems to me that a big game has already started here and the cryptocurrency market will not make us wait long for the next leap in world development. It is best to invest after the world crisis.

Time has proven that it was perhaps the best opportunity to enter at around 4000 when btc dumped due to panic selling it already 6400 today and it is expectecd that it will recover quickly from here, no doubt smart traders entered below 5000 range and are now in good profit already.

Well he is in the right time as we all can see the bitcoin's price has drastically decrease due to the recent corona virus outbreak that has affected all sector of business. We maybe seeing a huge surge in the price once everything gets back to normal. And I read an article that CZ(Binance founder) believes that bitcoin's price could go up to $100,000 in the near future if that happens we will be seeing a great future in blockchain industry.

It's depends from how the person perception and believe, those who are in positive inside this industry holding and waiting can be done, sparing reserve money and invest into crypto market might be a good option.
The economy always have a good run and if ever that more investors will join in and start to bring more people to work with then surely it will impacting
movement and e will see good future from this industry.

He is, https://99bitcoins.com/wikileaks-accepts-bitcoin-donations-to-help-edward-snowden/. So definitely he is somewhat bullish about bitcoin and he is right though. I mean everyone knows that the best time to buy bitcoin is during crashes so his advise is very relevant. However, it is really up to us to decide though, might be a good opportunity that time, but since then we have recovered so for those who bought then still a win situation even at the current price.
