Title: Malubit Shills and kotwica666 shilling service
Post by: DarkStar_ on March 19, 2020, 12:18:12 AM
kotwica666 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=303259), the signature campaign manager for Malubit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224028.0), appears to be utilizing a large number of shill accounts to defend the site they are promoting from various scam allegations.

A few accounts have popped up very often in their thread to act in their defense:

dodgrad (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=640564): Posting gap between Feb 6 and Feb 26 (https://archive.is/zdIvf#selection-973.13-973.30). Goes from being an Altcoin Speculation spammer to gaining a sudden interest in Malubit, proceeding to make 40+ posts in Malubit's thread (out of 45). Confirmed alt of kotwica666 by Avirunes (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5233846.msg54055154#msg54055154)
YinShuiSiYuan (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=195798): Posting gap between Feb 5 and Feb 26 (https://archive.is/RZCHJ#selection-1523.13-1523.30). Goes from posting in the Altcoin section and Freebitcoin's thread to posting 26/30 posts in Malubit's thread since the gap.
keyscore44 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=344250): Posting gap between Feb 27 and Mar 5 (https://archive.is/TMdEL#selection-1245.13-1245.27). Proceeds to post 26 times in Malubit's thread after returning, with only a single signature campaign application post in between.
altcointalk14 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=225897): Posting gap between Feb 23 and Mar 12 (https://archive.is/CbsgB#selection-1213.13-1213.27), makes 9/9 posts in Malubit's thread
cazkooo (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406499): Inactive since November 2018 (https://archive.is/H8Hgp#selection-921.13-921.30), comes back in Feb 2020, makes a few posts in other threads before starting to intensely defend Malubit
Naficopa (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=669241): Posting gap between Feb 5 and Feb 20 (https://archive.is/hqWng#selection-1315.13-1315.30), comes back to start defending Malubit with the majority of their posts.

All of the accounts follow a similar pattern: posting gap, few unrelated posts, and then a rapid transition into purely defending Malubit.

They've had more obvious shills too:

andremalur (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2769214): Makes a positive review on Feb 28th. (https://archive.vn/VFSub#selection-3173.0-3175.294) When they return to defend Malubit, they conveniently happen to not have an account (https://archive.vn/bjNEA#selection-1343.0-1343.35) when arguing in favour of Malubit. Oops.

On SBR, a user happens to inquire about Malubit on Feb 7th (https://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/bitcoin-sports-betting/3589969-bitcoin-betting-sportsbook-malubit-com-look-likes-bet365-product.html), before becoming a site rep on Feb 20th (https://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/bitcoin-sports-betting/3592028-malubit-com-bitcoin-betting-new-platform-99-coverage-live-games.html)  ::)

Signature campaign has also led to some positive posts (for example this one from YOSHIE (https://archive.is/fc8yf#selection-6221.0-6221.40)) that happen to be merited from their shill accounts. I can vouch for elabor77 being a legitimate account who actually bets on sports (although not recreationally).

There's probably a few accounts that I'm missing.

This may or may not help the connection of the 2 previous mentioned accounts but I recently made a post in the malubit thread and within a couple hours received a pm from kotwica666.

What are you doing in this thread?
I sent to you MyTVchain. You should not be bored ..?

Just confirms the user knows about MyTv is all i'm pointing out.

Nice find! Unfortunately I haven't had time to look through potential connections. I suspect some of the other accounts belong to kotwica666 as well then. I wonder if they're offering an "all-inclusive" signature campaign + paid bumps + shilling service  :P

I've left dodgrad and kotwica666 negative trust feedback.

Still looking out for more but there is not much tough evidence. Some of the accounts: dodgrad, YuiShuiSiYuan, keyscore44, altcointalk14 seems to be participating in same campaign and registered one after another in some of the bounty campaigns (incl. MYTV chain bounty) but that isn't a tough proof. Naifcopa also seemed to happen quite updated with MYTVchain bounty but he never participated which makes me wonder that he had atleast his alts enrolled in that campaign. While cazkoo I am still looking for but haven't found anything related.

Also the PM that yahoo received indicates that there might be lot going on behind the scenes.

Add them all to signature campaign blacklist- that's the best thing to do atm. I will also drop my feedback on both and continue on with my search for proofs again later.

Great found, this is one of shady behavior shilling thread with alt account where he is managing campaign for them. I am agree with Darkstar, likely this is paid shill.

Though this account is not participating in the shilling. It seems to be connected to @dodgrad. I wanted to leave this info here, just in case.
I think you forgot to archived links,
Archived 1: http://archive.is/qNSzL
Archived 2 : http://archive.is/NrHKF
Archived dodgrad post history; http://archive.is/EUoVi

Its seems kotwica666 is a account farmer and most likely shilling thread is one of his business. dodgrad & wgd his/her alt account. Since punishment has been give to a person (not an account). So these three accounts supposed to be tagged.

Left negative feedback from my ends to three of them.

This situation is quite similar to Kawbet, from the start, Kawbet a few users always protect and defend them even though they do not declare any responsibility for Kawbet. They even assert the safety of Kawbet even though it is being accused  :D

In the case of Malubit and kotwica666, is it Malubit's requirement for kotwica666 or is it a kotwica666's own problem? I don't think that somehow a casino owns several high-rank accounts at once to use for silly purposes. They are fully able to use accounts with lower ranks. Besides, dodgrad is the alt of kotwica666, maybe this is a own problemsof kotwica666? But I don't see the motive here  ::) Anyway, it shows that this casino is acting shady  ::)

Assuming kotwica666 owns all these accounts, he is likely defending the reputation with all his accounts because he is managing their sig campaign and does't want his job to end.

Obviously it's kotwicas problem, not Malubits, but it doesn't help their rep at all.

Does this guy also Malubit Shills?

Yurkov (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=82806) Posting gap between Feb 22 and 11 Mar (http://archive.vn/Jsnl0) Makes 8 post in Malubit thread

If you check his merit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=82806) history, he get 9 merit for 10 minutes on 1 day only from YinShuiSiYuan, dodgrad, longyenthanh, and Lavander

https://i.ibb.co/pvf2BQJ/Screenshot-262.png (https://ibb.co/27vq1Sg)

Since both YinShuiSiYuan and dodgrad is Malubit shills , I wonder if they are a gang of Malubit, or he is buy merits from that's 4 user?

It's just my opinion

I don't think there's Malubit gang unless the campaign manager is the owner of Malubit. Otherwise, Malubit has hired kotwica666 and his gang to do this shady activities. May be they are working as bumping ann thread which is/was a very easy money making method here?

Let us not make an speculation here, do stick with the evidence above.
Malubit is innocent until proven guilty, their big mistake is they hire a manager who cheats the campaign.

- Alt accounts are not allowed.

The manager broke his own rule here and therefore he should be tag for scamming the participants and scamming the owner of the campaign if they are not aware of he situation.

Thanks to Darkstar for bringing to the public what he notice, I know he will see it as unusual since he is very active in gambling board, particularly in gambling section, it's where his interest is at if I'm not wrong.

Lesson learned for Malubit, hire an experience campaign manager in the forum, I don't want to name names as I don't want to be bias.
There reputation are at risk, but they can correct this by choosing a reputable managers who does not cheat.

I wish I still had merits, I could have merit darkstar for the job well done.

Let's see:
The list
The following users have posted x times in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224028.0
This does not mean they're all bad users.
Merit is based on last Friday's data dump (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3078328.new#new). I only show Merit if there has been at least 1 transaction. If it shows 0 Merit, that means the user has sent Merit, but didn't receive anything.
Trust is only shown if it's non-neutral.

Title: Re: Malubit Shills and kotwica666 shilling service (?)
Post by: DarkStar_ on March 19, 2020, 04:42:21 PM
Though this account is not participating in the shilling. It seems to be connected to @dodgrad. I wanted to leave this info here, just in case.

A. Connected through twitter account: https://twitter.com/BTCSpotlight

1. dodgrad
2. wgd (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=256419)

It seems like wgd (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=256419) also woke up from a long period of inactivity, making their first post on Feb 25 (https://archive.is/fWsCl#selection-509.13-509.30) after being inactive since May 15 of 2019. Posting gap seems familiar and I bet we would have seen that account start to shill for them too. Good find.

Let us not make an speculation here, do stick with the evidence above.
Malubit is innocent until proven guilty, their big mistake is they hire a manager who cheats the campaign.

The manager broke his own rule here and therefore he should be tag for scamming the participants and scamming the owner of the campaign if they are not aware of he situation.

Keep in mind that most of my post was speculation in terms of connections, and it was not until Avirunes' discovery that really brought forth an actual case. AFAIK their shill accounts aren't in the campaign so they didn't break their own rules.

It's true that the "dodgrad" account is my alt account.
The user "wgd" is my friend, we know each other outside of Bitcointalk. We met through Bitcointalk when we supported the "whirl coin" project a few years ago (I will try to look for this thread later) Edit: here is that thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=679134.0 In this thread you can clearly see that he has much more technical knowledge than I do.
The "BTCSpotlight" account on Tweeter used to belong to me, but I haven't used Twitter for a long time, so I gave it to the user "wgd" few years ago.
To complicate matters even more, "wgd" used the "dodgrad" account for some time. For about a year, the "dodgrad" account is only in my hands.
Before I started managing the campaign for malubit.com, I looked at the issues that took place in their thread and it seemed clear to me that someone consciously wanted to slander his name.
I decided to objectively defend the name malubit.com with my alt account "dodgrad". I bet on malubit.com and everything is fine with me, which is also why I support this project.
I have neither broken the campaign rules nor the forum rules.
I can't say much about the other accounts except that they are not mine.
Some users mentioned in the OP, as far as I remember, were members of the telegram group in which we analyzed the ICO and bounty campaigns in 2018. This group no longer exists.

I wrote this answer quickly because it is my birthday today, so let me celebrate it now and I will answer the questions later.
Of course, I encourage you to ask questions that will help to explain this situation.

EDIT:

This may or may not help the connection of the 2 previous mentioned accounts but I recently made a post in the malubit thread and within a couple hours received a pm from kotwica666.

What are you doing in this thread?
I sent to you MyTVchain. You should not be bored ..?

Just confirms the user knows about MyTv is all i'm pointing out.

My convesration with Mr. Corneliu FRIDGANT Co-Founder of MyTVchain

I have nothing to do with the accounts listed by DarkStar_.
I have two accounts on Bitcointalk, which is officially written in my trust section. This is none of the above.

Anyway, now I don't have to bet, I have to stay still, because I'm losing a boat of money, I bet on the rise of the BTC by June of this year, but today I'm at a 35% loss.

http://archive.is/wip/gjrsq

I have explained it here.

On this bitCointalk forum have mod and DT, if you have 100% accurate evidence, that person has a decision. If not, just talking nonsense can happen otherwise for you.

yes, I am currently in their sig campaign (Malubit), if @ elabor77 bet on the Malubit site and has a loss he must provide accurate evidence of the loss. Anyone can talk here. more convincing evidence.
And make the topic of accusations of fraud in reputation.

Maybe it is also interesting to start a thread regarding all the people that are trying to defend sportbets.io on the moment I post just a normal question/post in their topic.
And reacting very angry there, and all took it personal.. Interesting.
Why should somebody act so angry and frustrated without having any interest in this situation.
I will so some research regarding this, and if I find enough patterns, there will be another thread as well here.
I know that now a lot of employees from sportbets.io will attack me here with replies, but that does not bother me at all. Then I have even more reasons to start a thread.
So I would say, sportbets.io employees, open the fire against me here. Then I can write the names on the list of employees :)
Cheers, now I am going to sleep
cheers

There are a few posts @ elabor77 in regards to gambling about allegations without evidence.
Example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224028.msg54009289#msg54009289

1st one is complaining that they charge a 5% commission. I don't see the issue there. For example, if I complain about moneypot charging a 70% commission for investors, do I really have to go screenshot the commission value in order to complain? Second post is complaining to sportsbet.io that they didn't get a bonus. I'm assuming that sportsbet.io knows who they are (they do), and he's trying to publicly "shame" them to get the bonus. No issue there either. How exactly do you post screenshots of not getting the freebet? Not every negative post has to be accompanied with loads of screenshots and evidence. I know for a fact that elabor77 actually uses the books they talk about; they play value and arbitrage so every new book is an opportunity for profit for them. It's pretty normal for players to publicly complain in hopes of getting a faster resolution. Even happens outside of the Bitcoin gambling world very often.

I have nothing to do with the accounts listed by DarkStar_.
I have two accounts on Bitcointalk, which is officially written in my trust section. This is none of the above.

Okay, would you like to share how much Malubit is paying you to come back and write positive posts then?

Intensely ? lol

Whatever man, definitely not a shills here or related to any of the account mentioned above . Feel free to check  ;D

Couldn't think of a better word  :P
Mind sharing how much Malubit is paying you to defend them?

Before I started managing the campaign for malubit.com, I looked at the issues that took place in their thread and it seemed clear to me that someone consciously wanted to slander his name.
I decided to objectively defend the name malubit.com with my alt account "dodgrad". I bet on malubit.com and everything is fine with me, which is also why I support this project.
I have neither broken the campaign rules nor the forum rules.
I can't say much about the other accounts except that they are not mine.

Is this really objective? Even if you started before they approached you to run the campaign, you were still making plenty of posts afterwards. I don't believe that you weren't influenced by personal feelings or opinions as you have a clear financial incentive. Also, if you disliked that there were supposed alt accounts slandering them, was it really the best idea to use alt accounts to fight the slanderers? You're not exactly painting yourself in a positive light. Arguably, a bunch of your posts could be considered paid bumps too such as this one. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224028.msg54057250#msg54057250)

Those trolls are now spamming their shit in sportsbet´s thread - some ppl really have too much time in their hands - proves you guys did a good job here, doesnt it. ;)

Probably because I'm wearing a sportsbet.io avatar  :P
Unfortunately for them, I'm paid per post (on whatever) by sportsbet.io and not affiliated with them in any other way.

In fact, I unfortunately used the word "objectively". Of course, working for malubit.com is not completely objective. It was rather a defense of my employer, so partly also my name. This is obvious.
In terms of activity, it was not a bump, but a normal bet:

The account was not in my hands in these campaigns.

- ETH - 4TH QUARTER PRICE PREDICTION [GAME] (posts 73 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191935.msg53063540#msg53063540) & 81 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191935.msg53128404#msg53128404)). Here I have to admit that I did it consciously. In this way, I increased my chances and cheated the community.
For excuse, I was unable to get into the campaign and I had practically no chance of it, of which I was aware.

I apologize everyone for that.
I'm sorry.

I like this project and i will bet there! I analyzed hundreds of projects and got their ass from them. Now, I'm just helping someone who I think deserves it!

kotwica666 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=303259), the signature campaign manager for Malubit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224028.0), appears to be utilizing a large number of shill accounts to defend the site they are promoting from various scam allegations.

Anyone can accuse me - is that what this forum is about?? Just one suspicion to crush opinon about me?
This is absurd!

You were perfectly fine accusing the various Malubit complainers as sockpuppets (and you could be right, but I have no idea):
Forget about this sock puppet!

Why the double standard when it comes to you? Anyone can accuse anyone about anything. Also, I left a neutral, not a negative.

For clarity sake, how many alt-accounts in total do you use now including those used in the past?

What is the primary function of any accounts you use?

I left a neutral as a warning to readers in the thread. It's not entirely clear whether all/most of the other accounts also belong to kotwica666, or if Malubit purchased a few accounts. It's also unclear as to whether or not Malubit hired the "shilling service" knowing what they were signing up for, or if kotwica666 offered some sort of general advertising package that included positive PR or something not explicitly shilling. Without more information, I don't think a negative is necessarily deserved.

That makes sense then. I will not do anything to that account either. What about the flags? This kind of shilling, similar to ICO bumping, is fraudulent and worthy of a low level flag, no? I have left it only to those 2.

It was a joke for April Fools Day. I warned zazarb about this so that he wouldn't get a heart attack. The loan has been repaid
Very distasteful joke that was then.  :-\

The other Malubit threads are locked.  But just wanted to bump this for everyone that was discussing the validity of this site a couple of months ago.  Site is down and has been for a couple of weeks.

I am generally highly suspicious and sceptical of websites that have little or no history either online itself or within this forum, when they come along making signature campaigns and then having all sorts of people signing up for signature campaigns promoting the websites without making even the most basic of checks.

I am not surprised there are allegations against Malubit and other websites because their plan from day one was to use this forum by any means necessary to promote their scams before making their exit. The tragedy is campaign participants are constantly and consistently promoting highly questionable projects (or out and out scams) just to line their own pockets with a share of the signature funds regardless of the moral questions at the heart of participating in these types of signature campaigns.

End of another drama. Its quite common for all fake and dishonest projects. When they have got no explanation to defend real accusations at that time they follow the easiest way of "give up". Its not an ending actually where they got realisation that nothing more left on that domain. Today or tomorrow they will continue their old game with another new product.

Yeah its true that some project owner wants to build their reputation and trust level by taking advantage of signature campaign. Professional campaign managers can make this way much narrower for them and proper investigation is the key factor there. Actually some participants just join for money and they don't care much about its legality or service. At that stage campaign manager is the decision maker to take their work or not. In my opinion every well reputated manager always care about their service rather than helping risky platforms to launch their campaigns.

It would maybe help to "allow" any (gambling) signature campaigns only after like 6+ months upon opening official ANN thread here in this forum. This would give the community the possibility to check out the site, before it gets a lot of attention with a signature campaign. This is still no guarantee, it's just a higher hurdle for the scammers, because they would have to operate in a legit and honest way for quite some time. Should be no problem for any serious site, scammers might not have the stamina to do that ;)

Not sure, what others think about it or if it's feasible. And it's another rule and rules are bad :)

Firstly, with the scams are not moderated policy, this wouldn't work, take a look at the altcoins bounties sections for instance, you can hardly findly a single project worth spending a dollar on out of the hundreds of outright scams, but the threads keep popping out.

I think the necessary attention which the signature campaign brings to them is one of the factors (probbaly) that helps expose them sooner rather than later, I don't think 6 months would be a long term for a project that is so bent on scamming, at least if they are lucky enough not to need payout some very big winnings during their start up and profits being made could keep them up and running for as long it is required, we've seen icos prolong for a longer period just to end up being a scam, it might even be some what harder for non-reputable users to raise a valid claim on them when they start building a better reputation that 6 months of legitimate and honest functioning will afford them, except there are substantial evidences.

A time period would be good before allowing these types of new businesses having signature campaigns but would the owners take an interest in it?

-snip-

This is indeed a very good idea, albeit difficult to implement. If I were a scammer who only wanted to cheat as many people as possible with my site, I could circumvent the rules quite easily. I'm founding the site, I'm not advertising it at all and therefore I won't have many players, if any.
After 6 months I come and say that my site has been around long enough to have a signature campaign.
But of course it is definitely a hurdle, although one that can easily be overcome ;)

We had here already once the discussion that signature campaigns may be held either only by renowned BMs or at least accounts with a high rank and good trust. This would go in a similar direction and definitely also represent a big hurdle for an intentional scam, as here money would have to be taken in hand at least once to hire someone to carry out the signature campaign - of course, at the same time it also discourages legitimate companies from starting a signature campaign at all.

This would not work; you maybe misunderstood my post or I wasn't clear enough ;) In your case, no matter how old your company is, you would have to open an official ANN in this forum first. I say "official", because a thread like "Hey, there is a new bookmaker, check it out" wouldn't qualify. It has to be a proper, not self-moderated thread, where you introduce your company to the community. In the next 6 months (it can be any timeframe) you would have to prove yourself. If all looks legit after these 6 months, you would be allowed to open a signature campaign.

So it would take 6 months of being nice until you are able to get more attention via campaign and could start scamming. This is probably too long for the average scammer, but not sure.
