Title: Website request to track developments in Altcoin Society.
Post by: theborngeek on March 19, 2020, 03:57:24 PM
I'm a day trader, however I keep missing the important developments/announcements which pump the coin.

I wanted any leads if anyone has using which I can track futuristic movements and developments of various projects.

Can someone help me in that space ?

Try out https://coinmarketcal.com/

But if you actually want to be first to know those roadmap updates, you're probably better off manually researching each coin.

If you are thinking you want monitor lot of coin in same time then it's a bad idea. You'll not get every or most of all bump signals. I will recommend work with few coins which you really care. And i think personally researching each coin is the better choice besides some third party website's help. But if you want really quick news about projects i will recommend Twitter (https://twitter.com/home) Platform.

Well it's not a best social platform for crypto news because of lot fake/scam news though, but if you follow the right channel (project channel) you can find latest news about crpyto projects faster than other websites news. I also strongly recommend projects blog channel. (where they published about their latest news). Could be Medium, Steemit etc.

If you have a telegram account then you can follow this channel unfolded for latest news and cryptocurrency market update. The best option is to follow your choice of project on twitter as most of them are there.

You can follow a number of telegram channels that you trust to make it easier, I am also a daily trader but there is no time to check myself and some of the telegram channels are quite helpful.

I can't share the channels that I follow, you can look for channels that you think are good.

Altcoin news are usually coupled with Bitcoin news and it's OK, since the price is also somewhat coupled (at least as the main direction for the money flow).
I have 2 useful feeds in my bookmarks list, maybe you'll also find them useful:

Honestly, no place would be too perfect for you but if you would like to get all the news you can definitely watch cryptopanic, that way you can definitely check out all the news coming out.

However, that is mainly bitcoin related, sure there are many altcoin ones as well but as soon as it starts to go down to lower end of the top 20 or even top 10 it becomes a little bit less covered, anything out of top 50 doesn't get any news from there unless something super major happens.

All in all I already like only the top 10 coins anyway and just maybe 3-4 other coins so crypto panic definitely helps me a lot to keep up. If you want super involved altcoins like even news from out of top 100, you can check the other ones but that is just too crowded with a million news every day.

Well there are around 5000 coins in circulation so it will be very difficult to track all of them.

As others have said, most of the top coins have social medias like Twitter or even a website, so that's the first thing that you have to look at and see the progress of the project. And this can help you out make the decisions to whether invest on them or not. Most of the time they will give dates regarding their schedule, it could be new releases, partnership etc.

Try to subscribe signal channel in telegram. They usually try to give pump signals which means you know very well in advance that which coins gonna be pumped.

I guess you better look for multiple sources rather than relying any one of the channel giving out unsure updates. (Can't trust easily).

Market is always coming up with advanced projects, and existing one are getting updated all the time so you have to look for the updates everywhere and do some smartwork. ;-)

Yes something like this, Oh God thank you so much for this. Exactly the kind i was looking for. Berminal however seams to have outdated data in the featured section. Twitter on looks good though.
