This post is just another fud. The 2008 crisis and the health crisis that we're facing globally is totally a different scenario and outcome.
If the OP is talking about the economic crisis today, then it is obviously because of the pandemic. People would always choose to have fiat currency in their hands for easy access on basic necessities to survive the lockdown.

Business goes on as usual. The fastfood restaurants that doesn't offer delivery since day one though are now offering the free delivery. Things change and businesses adopted almost instantly.  I can only see few walking around but business is going on and banks are allowing people to withdraw as long as lockdown goes on. The transport of goods aren't shutdown, everything look good still. Its just funny people talking from a distance like everyone has leprosy.

Probably cryptocurrency is great for the purpose of the valuable asset but when it comes to financial purposes to have financial freedom probably I won't agree on this. This economic crisis that we had now is due to pandemic coronavirus and most countries are lockdown or maybe enhance with quarantine at home. Still, fiat currency is the best when we have disasters like this.

I think it's kinda different now compare to the 2008 financial crisis. Since on the current crises, we experience a natural calamity like this coronavirus (covid19) outbreak which is kinda expected and predicted that we will experience some of these crises.

In my opinion, you are right, but there are many newbies in crypto and they don`t understand whole potential of cryptocurrency, so they think that crypto market is like others and they try to sell all their assets and it`s like snowball. I did not see a link about it, related to this matter that cryptoqurrency might not exist at the time. but I personally don't think that cryptoqurrency will be a big problem. Indeed at this time the economy is in trouble for every country and this is all not far from corona virus problems and we do not know how that happens to the future then in this case we all have the preparation of each but to buy Crypto one of the good solutions if the bank implements the system as you said, and be assured that crypto mining will not betrayed the results for the future.

I do not think there is going to be a financial crisis this year due to the economic meltdown. I have the feeling that this economic breakdown will be handled incredibly by all governments. The problem with investments is that the value of fiat doesn't move much in the short term so in a crisis situation you will not be able to withdraw most of your fiat money but their value will remain the same. You will be able to withdraw cryptocurrencies but won't be able to buy much because stores will still accept fiat that you cannot withdraw.

But i think more people today are choosing fiat currency specially to those in poor or in middle class family  to provide their basic needs while facing this pandemic crisis. As much ad I wanted too but I dont have extra fund for buying crypto. Yes a major recession could or already happening and crypto is one way to a more lucrative approach on payment system. Yes, crypto can be a good alternative when centralized is failing in a lot of countries. In India, a major bank stops its user's fund withdrawing. This should be a major turning point for Indian people to adopt and involve in crypto so that this type of situation won't happen again. Crypto gave us the power to protect our own funds by myself.

Right now, there is no time for an average person to know or even invest into Bitcoin right now because they need cash far more than crypto. If you will go to a grocery store, how can you use Bitcoin if they aren't accepting it?? If you are holding Bitcoin and you don't have cash anymore, how can you pay your bills or the things you bought.

You are right, I think you already know the prediction of the impact of the corona on the global economy that made it possible for the crisis, especially for developing countries that still continue to depend on other more advanced countries. Why withdrawing cash now can make the situation worse? Is not withdrawing cash is a right for everyone and can be done at any time? because everyone has different needs in life and a different way of thinking too.

If we don't have any money, I think people who have crypto will withdraw their coins so they will have money to buy something. Or they will search for another source to get that money. But if they still have money in their hand, they don't have to withdraw. It's not impossible that all these problem we are facing right now will be solve, if China were able to solve their problem on covid-19, I'm sure the rest of the world will also solve it, but the damage has already been done, if it will take longer, it will cause more damage on the economy and although economy will recover but it will not be instant.

For me switching to crypto particularly to btc is way better than storing my money to bank because I have the opportunity to grow it and I have financial freedom because no one can control my assets or freeze it.

If it happens again as what you said then cash should be the priority, not crypto. In a financial crisis cash is the king, we must hold cash because we use it to buy stuffs everyday. We can hold USD and gold as safe properties. Crypto is for investment and trading, it's not safe property.

unfortunately, it's not as easy. it will take quite a long time, and also need a great experience. There are many ways, tips, and advice that we can give to people before trading, however, doing so is very difficult. however, people need more cash now than crypto, so it's quite difficult to buy crypto with an amount that we can't let loose.

the advice of the OP is not for all. many of us will still prefer to have fiat on hand, and yes, especially in these challenging times. you can't buy from the stores with your crypto, if you need some urgent items as most stores are not accepting crypto. unless, you convert your crypto to fiat, and that would take a lil bit of time to do that. so it is always better to have fiat ready in case of emergency. but if you have more than enough and you can spare some funds in crypto, why not? i will do the same, but I prefer to invest in btc or maybe eth for the moment. just to make sure that I am dealing with sure market.

But also you have to remember that crypto profit is not automatic. Crypto profit is gradual until it is the time for the particular coin to pump. If someone is in crypto for automatic profit overnight, I think that will be a mistake. For now, many coins bought after 2017, they are still in different wallets with little or no marginal profit at all and some below buying price. So if pulling all the money in the bank to buy crypto so that restriction withdrawal won't affect the hodler, they equally need to be careful.

l agree with your opinion about that, we can just realize that date is repeated. Maybe we must care about taking financial freedom. Not a bad advice at all, I just read an article from a website where Max Keiser a prominent btc pioneer and advocate advising the poor people to buy btc because according to him, it will be of great benefit to them in future, to me, this is great advice,  instead of throwing money on irrelevant stuffs that won't amount to something, better to invest any little cent in btc because the price might increase and you will be happy you did.

I don't think it will happen again. I still believe that one still needs the service of these banks even as we continue to invest in crypto.So many of us still transact with these banks when it comes to changing our coins to fiat.All we need do is to balance up everything. Investing with our money is much more important than just keeping the money in bank but that does not mean that we can not still keep some of our money in bank. There would be much withdrawal from most investment which would result to a fall in the financial sector but then it's always good to have an investment in crypto no matter how small.
