For people who want to take part in an airdrop, they have to do KYC on ABIT.com, is that right? It would be good if such information was also given publicly, otherwise it could irritate people

If it was true, then it should be, since people in crypto usually so reluctant to do kyc just for an airdrop, yeah it doesn't feel worth it. Sharing such information about it will make it more openly, so complaints can later be avoided.

But those airdrop hunters should do their own due diligence also. Check the exchange and the min requirements before they can withdraw or before they can get the airdrop. Honestly, it is only a waste of time joining airdrop in exchange of few pennies of token and asking you for some kyc details. And you can't even withdraw from the exchange because you haven't reached their minimum withdrawal. Up to the participant if he will still pursue this kind of thing. Not obligatory anyway.

I just wanna know about what sentiment that you will be using it to support the creation of your data? Will you use the data that comes from the news site as the main fundamental to determine the sentiment from the market?
Are you focusing to play to build a market data for trading purpose? that's interesting to know what's your vision with your project and is there an MVP for the product?

Hi, our base sentiment collects data from Twitter, Telegram and Reddit (more upcoming soon) and analyze it through machine learning (LSTM) with multilanguage data labelling (Chinese, English, Korean and Japanese). We also scrap news information daily as MVP for now. Intend to do it via better API for quicker information to arbitrage it.

As of now, we are using the data for backtesting and beta trading. We have received many challenges as a startup and especially to the question, how do we make money and what is our business model? We had our proof of concept where we able to translate crypto market sentiment as an indicator but it is not sufficient.

We will be providing premium signals for BTCR members in the near future after we tested it on a consistent basis. That being said, many would argue that keeping that "secret sauce" for ourselves or creating a market make based on our signals, but we are "leaning" more towards sharing data analytics to the Bitcurate users.

do you think your system can detect possible pump and dump coins? sometimes what the devs are promising are opposite to what is happening. also, what do you think would be the limitations of your software when it comes to predicting the price movement of an altcoin? and what are the possible strong points that your software may have to tackle the high price volatility in crypto?

1/ Pump and dump is definitely doable. But wouldn't be in our priority as the volume and liquidity is mostly fake.
2/ We did an analysis through price correlation with top 50 coins vs Github activities. We don't mind good correlation between dev activities vs price actions. We deprioritize on making more development on this area.
3/ Altcoins in our definition is anything besides Bitcoin. So far, based on our quant analysis; https://www.bitcurate.com/research/what-factor-impact-the-price-change-of-crypto-coins, there is a high correlation for market sentiment with crypto price movements. Still testing if we can make $ from these data points.
4/ High volatility is the strong reason why traders love crypto. Most likely, we will leverage on this to see if we can outperform this comparatively to index hodling.

Block times are slowing down on Bitcoin’s network. Although it has a tendency to stay stable in around 10 minutes. This is the first such spike since late 2018 as we have seen the yearly low price of Bitcoin is around $3,600. To cope with reduced revenue, miners switch off equipment to reduce costs, resulting in increased block times. This can impact the upcoming Bitcoin halving.

if you will not raise enough funds for your development from the 2 exchanges - probit and abit, will the pace of development not be affected by this? also, you already have some partnerships, so I am assuming this platform will continue no matter what. I am curious how reliable will your AI be to actual crypto prices when you start your services.

There are 3 parts to this:
1/ We already have an early version beta MVP beta backend (we are funded by several angel investors https://www.bitcurate.com/about (https://www.bitcurate.com/about) + $$ savings). Will continue to add more development to it, strategically over time. While we are doing this, we also need to make $ by trading ourselves using our analysis and signals.
2/ The trading bot, premium signals for VIP members and integration into channels; Telegram, email and Slack etc; will happen soon. These are the low hanging fruit. BTCR buyers will pay for our services with a discount to get these signals.
3/ By doing this exercise of tokenizing Bitcurate, we actually learned massively behind the scenes what's happening at order-books, trading volume, price action activities, fiat-crypto wallet tracking, futures contract tracking etc, and this will be definitely be added in the near future soon to our AI. It is actually a win-win for us; crowdfunding at exchanges, getting feedback from community and also understanding how the crypto-market works (real hands-on experience; not theories).

ok thank you for that elaborate answer. however, i noticed that you are not getting enough audience from this forum. to make your platform successful, you need to get as many users as you can. why not run some promotional campaigns here in the forum? but later on, once your app is already operational, if you can prove that your predictions have high percentage of accuracy, you might get good number of followers and users.

This project can be really useful to investors, traders, and the fund managers. It helps to make better decisions and building models, algorithms, and data science tools that bring data-driven decision making to their investments. The main goal of Bitcurate is predictive data analytics for cryptocurrency that helps better decision-making through data-driven insights powered by AI.

I think the platform is quite good, the panels are intuitive and simple. The live fees is not overcomplex so it easy to track the most important information from the crypto sphere. I especially like the big wall detector functions which shows big btc orders. The Bitcurate APP has many different statistics which can be useful for trading or investing both from market data and order book. The only thing I would like to change is the size of a particular area of the app, for example when I'm reading the live feed I would prefer not to see the order book and blockchain alert.
