Archive link: http://archive.vn/wip/6o1Sz - OP (the thief) smartly requested to delete that topic by changing the subject and Mods may delete at any time so I think to open this topic as it may help many people to get an idea on how cleverly hackers may try to steal our cryptos. - Big thanks to @DarkDays for nailing that attempt. Usually I do skip the topics which says "delete please", because people change subject like that when they accidentally create multiple topics / forgot to check the self-mod options etc. But, DarkDays's post must be worthy to view and remember to avoid such attempts in future. Surely i doubt such a scammer can even pay those who wrote for him the articles. The accounts just need to be nuked. I don't know why it was even spared. If we start picking out which ones we call "scammers" and ban, we would make a lot of decisions based on biased opinions. There are plenty of exposed scammers out there that are still able to post freely. The community does a good job of dealing with this through the Trust/Flag system though, so it's important that everyone utilize that at least to some degree. Instead of asking mods to nuke him, which is probably unlikely, it might be more helpful to support DarkDay's flag instead. But yeah, all this really teaches us is to not trust strangers on the internet. |
