From the day I got to know about bitcoin and gambling sites accepting bitcoin there was directbet which has got few casino games. The major focus is upon sports betting, next is the betcoin.ag which has got a big number of games. By those days I find betcoin.ag to do colourful and attractive than many other gambling sites. The third website is the primedice which is completely dedicated for casino, and it stays strong in the market even at the present.

I have used Intertops casino 5 years ago and the gambling business model of Intertops is outdated for me after discovering one of the developing alternative gambling sites. The Intertops is also famous as an sports betting platform, I am sure the network is controlled by the same group of people. Honestly, Evolution and Playtech are my favorite providers in quarantine days.

I wonder, if there are Cryptocurrency online casino's that has also existed since 2009 the creation of Bitcoin. Also with the financial crisis did some old gambling sites transitioned to Bitcoin payments ?

Since we are in bitcoin forum, why dont you make a list of oldest bitcoin/crypto casinos? I do think it would be better if we are focusing on anything related bitcoin only as we are in bitcoin forum.

Maybe he doesn't know where to start, I am just trying to open this gambling board from the page 242 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.9640) and find not considering gambling site. then I try to how many view and find Primedice on top. Also, Freebitco.in is one of the oldest Bitcoin gambling sites with a good reputation. So, when OP prepares to make the Oldest Bitcoin gambling site, don't forget to put that both.

I prefer Primedice over Freebitco any day due to the lower house edge though I do agree with your statement that both these sites have been around for a long time though I am not sure if they are the oldest ones.

Crypto-games and Bustadice should also make the cut in my opinion considering their popularity over the years. Bitsler could probably crack this list too.

I've never dig and thought of this much but being the earliest at 1994. That's something unimaginable for a not so old like me. Whoever is the owner of that casino already thought of it and if you're living in that era, you'll think of it as a crazy idea.

But look at the era today, crypto casinos, online casinos everywhere.

I wasn't yet on the internet when they were up and running and they are still operating to these days. They adopted the change and accepted BTC which is quite good for them. Right, it looks like the list has nothing to do with crypto gambling after all because most of the oldest casino are only accepting fiat, make sense though as bitcoin was only ten 10 years old.

But as far as crypto related casinos, some of them are obvious just recent, probably the earliest should be around 2014-2015, my guesstimates.

If these really are the oldest online casinos, then it is true that the first-movers do not necessarily become the biggest names. Because I have never heard of any of them,,, and no surprise that they still never adopted crypto even after over 20 years. They maybe just rely on old clients and run a small business. Some companies literally are the opinion of their owners;)

The first ever crypto one was satoshidice, they were so common and such a lonely option without ANY competition that those dudes actually managed to be in blockchain.info website and implemented, they are by far the oldest one, they are "almost" as old as bitcoin itself. However, overtime there was just-dice which was basically the first dice website that was off-chain, you had to trust them and deposit to their websites, some people saw this as easier and moved there and they became huge at their peak, later on came primedice as well.

These were all the first places that opened up during those times. I remember nitrogen as well that is one of the oldest sportsbooks in crypto if not the oldest (maybe couple months difference). These were all amazing back in those days, now it feels too robotic compared to those times.

To OP, try to check these sites instead then make changes to this thread since we are in a crypto-forum.

It seems even OP is into this forum for more than one and half years, they are not ready to consider only the houses which are having active topic on this forum or at least the houses which are supporting the cryptos. There are a lot of gambling houses around the world but what will be the point of discussing them in this bitcoin forum when they are not doing anything with cryptos.

Gambling is older than 300 years (as per some study if I remember exactly) and the cryptos are just 10 years old hence we are not at the right times about thinking on deciding things based on oldest. This is time to consider who is more conscious about their reputation with respect to this community. How long they are into gambling is not a big criteria to consider as of now IMHO.

I think OP should list crypto gambling sites because this forum is all about crypto.

The gambling sites listed by the OP are not related to crypto but maybe he is just sharing the classic casinos that still running today. That's a hell of a record if those sites are operating til now.

But it's more interesting if it will only cover the crypto-casinos since we are in crypto. There are now people here who shared some longest-running crypto casinos that still runs today. OP can save that list and come back with another thread about the oldest crypto casinos.

But I don't like to call those crypto-gambling sites as oldest since Bitcoin was just first introduced a decade ago and gambling sites related to crypto maybe just started operating 3 to 4 years later.

This is the first time that I have heard of them and I am excited to try them. I haven't gamble since the outbreak. I hope that I hit some luck.

So the oldest is in 2013? Haven't heard about this crypto casinos, I wonder if they are still in operation. When we think about it, crypto casinos are still not that old because in the list the oldest is only about 7 years from now. When compared to the traditional casinos that have started far older than crypto, crypto casinos are still young.

Nice sharing op but those gambling sites are only fiat based or only supports centralized payment I think ? Much better if they will also soon support cryptocurrencies because cryptos this time are now popular and many people are now involved on it .

Honestly, being the oldest does not have anything to do with me because I will just go for the highly reputed casino rather than choosing a long-running casino. The oldest casino may not be having all the customer friendly practices but a community friendly and highly rated casino will definitely having what a basic gambler simply looking for. I just want my stay to be pleasant in any casino rather than finding importance with their age in gambling industry.

OP's list is just a fancy thing for this community and definitely not a recommended list of casino to visit and play. I believe most gambler here will respect the age of casinos like myself but their age in industry will not be a simple criteria to get with them.

If you read carefully, you must realize that the purpose of this thread is for sharing information. There is no suggestion to choose those casino sites from the OP, so you can find out your self about what casino fits for you. Sure, the best option should be the most reputable and trusted casinos.

That's a good idea, I will consider it for the next thread or the next update. For now, I think it is enough for the 3 sites above since it fits with the title. If I add the oldest bitcoin/crypto casinos on the OP, it will be a bit out of the title.

Since this is a bitcoin forum and all of the topics that are written in this forum is all about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, it will be much better if he just listed 3 oldest online crypto casinos. Just like the casinos that i have played that was existed since 2014 which is 7 Bit Casino and Bitstarz.

It seems theres another site that is much a year older than that.


I knew Freebitco.in for a long time since it is the first-ever site that I tried using cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin then I also tried PrimeDice but stick to FreeBitco.in. I did not invest that quickly to it, I just get free satoshis using their faucet and at that time that I am gambling there, I can always see the price at $700, and boy I hope I kept on gambling at that time and just save it until now. As far as I know, I won .1 BTC there from the free satoshis I got but also lost it because well, I got greedy.

Intertops seem to be supporting Bitcoin as they have a small bitcoin logo below their home page but i'm not sure about the other two since they don't mention what deposit methods are available.

Interesting to know that Nitrogensports is one of the oldest and imo they're pretty outdated while other gambling sites have been getting more competitive.

when you searching more on the internet, probably find older than those ones. Like today I am surprised to find the oldest than mentioned, by discovering this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5234932.0, I found this gambling davincisgold begin from 2005 use Bitcoin deposit.
But I am not sure using Bitcoin deposit for years, maybe no longer for 10 years.
