I am neither an alt of Ripster or of vickersja - Ripster was party to a prior sale I escrowed here on the forums and vickersja mines on one of the pools I mine on (kano.is) and we are all members here at the forums - that does not mean we involved in an elaborate escrow scam. Phil has done many escrow deals and has done quite a few for me. he has stated numerous times that he wants to take less escrow deals because of the work involved - I asked him if he thought I should start offering escrow services, he told me to go ahead! So, here I am doing just that. I want to start offering escrow services. Let me preface by saying that it is not my intention to take away business from anyone else that is performing escrow services - just to provide another option. That being said, I don't want to incur anyone's wrath by offering to do escrow services. That is why I wanted to ask you if it would be appropriate for me to do this. Based on the work that goes into managing the deals vs what small amount is received for doing so, I don't see it as a form of income, rather I see it mainly as a means to bring up my trust level on the forums and to give members another trusted escrow option - though I know we have quite a few already. I am just looking for feedback and I trust your judgement and opinion. I could use a vacation. Feel free to offer them. 1 to 2% is the common fee with maybe a 5 dollar minimum fee. I mostly charge 1.5% unless it is a 5000 or 10000 dollar deal. I urge you to be very careful with newbies. Also If you can make it for hard goods no digital stuff. especially cryptocoin sales and gift cards both have separate legal risk. if you escrow coin deals you could face money laundering . if you escrow gift cards you are not in the clear from cc charge backs for 6 months. I have one alt account - Mopar Mining - I do not use that account except for the one time when my account was hacked.
