What is the best place to talk to traders that ACTUALLY know what they're talking about, like wallstreetbets but for crypto?

Kind of like tradingview, but the UI is not great for chatting

Bitcoin Talk is the best place to talk with different kind of people in crypto, I think there is 99.9% chance to reach many and the right person/people once you post here.  

bitcointalk is great for myriad things; however, actual trading discussion with traders who really know their shit isn't one of them.

Find a group in telegram or other social media channel that you can find many crypto traders discuss  about trading.
There are many of it however there is no way you can know where you can join.



bitcointalk discussion can only give opinion about trading they are only giving basics information. Not all of those user's really have experience in trading just a self opinion and not from experience.

Are you serious or are you being sarcastic here? WSB is pretty much mostly stock market memes LOL.

Tell you what though, if there's an actual group with actually heavily knowledgeable people concerning trading, chances are, it will be private. Public trading-focused subreddits like r/bitcoinmarkets and r/ethtrader are definitely not great places to get information from. Hence I'm a heavy advocate for personal due diligence.

OP, 90% of traders are losers. 9% of the "winners" are break-even to having good profit. It's only the 1% that make excellent profits on every occassion.

I get where you are coming from, you need people to tell you the next best trade but remember trading decision is all your most of the talk about trades are noise. I can't think of any forum that is solely focus on Crypto trade but there are some selected few traders on twitter that are real winners that you can follow

I should agree. If you go to sections such as trading or speculation, what you can read are more or less bare ideas without much technical explanations or analysis. But then supposing you will eventually find a certain forum, channel, group, or whatever which is made up of legit or even full time crypto traders, I'm afraid you will still end up saying, "this is not the best place either." I mean, for sure there are kind of premium channels with legit crypto traders. But it is certainly one thing to be a legit crypto trader and quite another to actually earn from it.

There must be a reason why bots sell.

Bitcointalk is pretty shit for actual trading talk.

There'll be much more serious and dedicated channels out there but strangers would not be welcome with their Lambo talk or 'Omigodweallgonedie' when the price drops 10 bucks.

Bitcointalk and Tradingview are the best IMO. Reddit is kinda okay, but there are so many trolls there.

All depends on which bit you end up on. The one I linked to above comes down hard on the plainly moronic in a way this place could do with sometimes and others take the time to keep discussion relatively sane and serious.

Certain subs seem a lot more stupid. r/cryptocurrency is filled with shitcoin shills who are still 100% convinced their little shit will take over the world as soon as Bitcoin 'dies'.

Bitcointalk is one of the best forum that you can learn something or many things especially on what you are finding just like trading,mining and investing or even gambling.
You can go on trading discussions in order to post some questions about traders and if someones have a good answer on your thread then maybe it would be good if you will have a direct message to him/her using the bitcointalk forum.

Actually this forum is also good place to talk with other traders, there are so many traders in bitcointalk so you ma assure yourself that you are trading in a right person, you may also use the telegram and join on some other groups there, there are so many active users of telegram that you may have on that application, but be careful on using telegram because there is also a lot of hackers and scammers that uses telegram to find some victims. There are times that if you message on a particular telegram group then for sure there will be someone who will message you so careful to those people. Do not trust easily on anonymous person.

Wall Street is a thing but the market there is very different. Bitcoin is not stock that has a product behind it. In a way, it is a product, in another way it is a means to obtain any product (if we consider Bitcoin money). Moreover, The crypto market is decentralized, and trading occurs online on various exchanges. Not to mention that many people might prefer not to disclose that they are successful traders of cryptos for legal or simply privacy reasons. Finally, Bitcoin is largely unpredictable, so it's hard to say if it's even possible to trade and be consistently successful. So I don't think it's possible to find a group of professional BTC traders. Chances are, you'll find scammers.

Right. I also prefer to have a personal discussion. it is more detailed and can direct each other's opinions and experiences with direction. Regarding this trading, beware of trading signals that we do not know who made it, the market is very extreme changes so it is better to use analysis and strategies that we can.

There'll always be people not knowing wtf they're talking about, they are everywhere. The best way to know something good is, as nicely put above, personal conversation with someone you think (and others as well) is competent and willing to evolve. It's also good to mutually share this experience with someone in similar position to you, trust is the main priority though

Ignoring some of the plebs around here saying Bitcointalk is the best place for cryptocurrency trading advice, more than half of the users who claim to be experienced traders are actually perma-wrecked thanks to their ridiculous investments in ICOs and other crowdfunding projects.

I think you're best of using a social media platform that is designed for financial discussions, like StockTwits. They have Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on there.

In my experience, real pros seldom share market advice or picks. They avoid market saturation to keep things fresh. This is a big issue with high frequency and algorithmic trading where multiple bots utilizing similar algorithms saturate markets reducing profitability. That trend does apply to cryptocurrency trading as well. With whale traders tending to play their cards close to their chest and not really publicize their sentiments on markets.

I haven't seen anyone really vocal in crypto who is both knowledgeable and contains a background in trading successfully, over the long term. There are plenty of smart and knowledgeable people on this forum. This is the best place I've seen for information regarding bitcoin and crypto. Aside from here, there aren't many places known for dispensing that type of info.

In the forum you'll find tons of traders that looks like capable, well you can see their skills and screenshot provided. Mostly their in the Trading discussion section or Speculation but for me, i follow financial advice from crypto youtubers like The moon and Team underground. They have called some pretty nice shot in the Bitcoin price, they're also the best in my opinion.

actually there are good trading discussions on bitcointalk and there are some decent analysis of the market from many users on bitcointalk. but generally speaking the problem with what are asking for is that most traders who actually know what they are doing prefer spending their time actually trading instead of wasting it telling others what to do! why would they anyways?

You can talk here if you want, and you can share your opinion about the market. But I speak to my friends in a group chat about the market, and we share many things related to the market movements. In that group chat, usually, we share our analysis or something related to the market, but we still need to analyze by ourselves. So far, it gives us a new thing for private analysis, and although the analysis is not so accurate, at least, we can know what we need to do.

Ive only noticed some who got some input here. The one that really helpful. Yes we have some trading discussion but some are just speculating too. Most professional traders dont have or not commonly have accounts here. It's quite rare to see user here who have actually does show trading traits.

Ive been listening on my friends group channel advise which indeed more helpful. Why not check out Wall Observer, there are serious peeps there displaying technical analysis too.

Allow me to say that I generally agree with gentlemand and others by saying that this forum is probably not as good as other platforms -- but in defence of those who actually do breathe meaningful life into TA on this forum, I might draw you to check out the threads in Speculation (rather than Trading) to find decent folks like dmwardjr (sample thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5140701.0)), dragonsvlinux (sample thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5219644.0)) and exstasie (sample thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5196072.0)) -- and these are even the more recent ones. There are a few good men in this forum, I'm not the best person since I'm a Sunday TA reader, but it's really not that shitty in here if you keep clicking ignore on the mess that can follow their threads.

Many of the folks over at the Wall Observer thread know how to get a good laugh too.

Yes, a good point. Bitcointalk is the one of the right place to talk where you can learn something about different discussions and topics especially trading. Also you will able to get some opinions or perspective from different people and traders. If you are looking for traders you can visit trading discussion, you will learn a lot there from scrolling and entering topics. Also, one of the best place to talk is through personal or private discussion. You can ask free frequent and additional questions if you have and can get detailed answers. Detailed discussion is more effective because you will learn and understand where this is going to, about the strategies, analyzations and good decision making about trading. You can also share experiences from your previous tradings about what techniques, analysis and financial discussions. For additional, try to research also about a good trading it might help you.
