I stumbled upon the Lotto Nation ANN thread and actually opened it because I thought "Lotto Nation" and 6 pages already, could be interesting. Well, unfortunately, this whole thread is a shitpost spam party! ^^ It is more than obvious that Lotto Nation have hired some bumping service...

The whole thread consists of Lotto Nation posting updates and 12 users making absolutely ridiculous posts (one liners) all the time - there is not one "real" post - oh and of course all posts are coming in waves. ;) You could argue the bumping service they hired sucks big time... ;)

All of those bumping accounts are newbies, have more or less same activity and whats most interesting - they are obviously also used to bump the ANN threads of Swapzilla, MyTVChain, Joltee and PHORE BLOCKCHAIN.

Since when you enrolled in the forum police force what I mean by this is that well done :-D
These projects thinks they are favoring their projects by doing this (hiring spammers) but it actually harms their project.

Man, I actually hate it  :D - first off, we have more than enough special units around and then, its just no fun for me plus writing this down... it took me ages. :D Buuuut - I really came across this when I actually thought it could be a nice read and I was looking forward to it... so I was pissed and had to do this. ;)

No worries, first and last time! :D Dealing with those shady gambling sites is more than enough you know. ;)

In my opinion, such topics should be locked. But since it's difficult to prove that they are using bumping services, moderators don't do this.

Fake volume in ANN threads. What's the policy against them? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5235657)

The sole purpose of these fake accounts and their conversations was to be always on the first page of Tokens (Altcoins), Announcement (Altcoins), and Service Announcement (though I can't see if it really happens there, more likely rare) boards. Sad to say, this issue has already been countered by theymos bumping rule and even if you search on where that board it posted it can't be seen on the first page not even on the third page it only appears on the 4th page since messaging on that thread doesn't have enough bump power because they can't even get merits.

Though it's really irritable to see that they did that on purpose to fake a conversation I guess theymos bump rule was a success. Petty to those people that pay these fraud kinds of services they don't know how it goes behind the scenes.

May I ask our experts...

I just had a look at MyTVChain´s ANN - well, apparently its a spam party...  :D I understand that not too much can be done except reporting each and every post of those bumpers? Thats gonna take ages... ^^

Flag Lotto Nation or not?

Paid ICO bumping by one of those Bounty platforms or even worse, same scammers behind all of the projects.

Lets do this... In the end even that bumping can influence and hurt innocent people...

Support the flag and prevent users from being scammed!

The flag needs more support, the thread is still on-going.

Shouldnt we do the same with Swapzilla & MyTVChain? I see their threads are still being bumped, users need to be "protected" from being scammed, too...
