If binance CEO and team take over CMC then you guys should be ready for a whole new level of ratings, here are few things I expect from Binance

1. Liquidity rating will finally works
2. Many fraudulent projects will be kicked out
3. Many fake volume exchanges will be exposed or even red tagged

So far I haven't seen a capable team like binance team, if crypto is going to reach a whole new milestone then this is how it will begins

We can probably see a good development like what you have mentioned. Hopefully binance really abolish those manipulations at all or even listing fake volume on CMC. Some complained were seen due to massive manipulation that has been observed with them. This will be a huge change if ever they take over, and it could bring binance to top most empire which build businesses around the globe. When I read the news I thought its a fake one but looks like they serious with their plan.

Expect that all the competitor will be exposed but still I’m hoping for a great reviews about so many coins and no bias at all. Binance slowly rising and trying to doming the world of cryptocurrency, many crypto should be inspire to binance and keep on growing as well. I’m wondering why cmc are selling their company, they can still earn a lot of money on this market for sure or else they see a big downside of the market.

I think that the Binance team will not change much what is happening now at the coinmarketcap. I think that everything that they will do only in their interests. I believe that in this deal it will be very beneficial for everyone except the users of the coinmarketcap.  ;D

I have read about it lately and I am not sure if it will push through. The purchase of one of the biggest crypto exchanges and the most visited crypto website. This buyout would be historical and one of the biggest purchases in crypto space. This will surely level-up Binance's dominance in crypto. I am not sure if this is good or bad, but it only means that indeed crypto industry is developing fast.

They will change those things that is suspicious to them or they will not change anything because they know they can earn a lot of money from that, we don’t know yet. This will benefit the hodlers of bnb simply because they keep on improving and every year, BNB has something new to say for the cryptomarket, I’m slowly loving this coin seriously.

If Binance can own Coinmarketcap, I hope that they will not manipulate this market, I am afraid they will manipulate this market and control it the way they want. If it happened then I would leave this market

Then it's very good news for everyone because many people look at CMC to know coin price and volume. Coingeko is also very good but CMC is the most popular. It looks like Binance is getting a heavy influence over the cryptocurrency world. Hope this deal make CMC more accurate and fake project and fake volume will be exposed.

Everything is depending on Binance leadership. This deal can be like useful for crypto world but also harmful. There is a lot of fake statistic and shit coins on CMC. If Binance decide to fix it I think crypto world will be little better, but everything can happen

Are they planning to acquire CMC. I have not really heard anything about that. However, I think it will be a good one. We may all expect a perfect and more precise volume and probably some shitcoin that always getting listed on CMC can find other places to get listed, but I also think there are other sites like coingecko that are also trying but they are less recognized probably because the CMC is the first.

I hope that when binance will be really acquired CMC as a part of binance ecosystem and there will be more reliable data that will be showed. I may think all of your points were true but I'm thinking about binance can do a small manipulation to its own. it must be more transparent BTW

It will certainly be more transparent because it is managed by Binance, the leading exchange in this market. I hope they can buy Coinmarketcap and make it better than it is now

CZ often posted in twiter about current fake volumes that different exchanges having on coinmarketcap. So i think it was his main goal and his main point why he is buying CMC.

I have never believed that the metrics that pages rank 100% accurate, Pages all take metrics from exchanges, and the accuracy of the metrics depends on the honesty of the exchanges. Moreover, there is no guarantee that exchanges will not spend money to buy rankings.

That's going to happen but there will be suspicion of manipulation because they are the one running the number one marketcap in the business they have the interest to protect and of course this is a new level of marketing for them so expect Binance banner always on top of Coinmarketca.

That would be a funny analysis to make. Coinmarketcap has been criticized many times for it's lack of reflecting the actual picture or sometimes misguiding. Binance is an exchange that has a whole different level of manipulation. If binance took over coinmarketcap, there would be no any credibility left on the site. They open quick but they can't be trusted.

They didn't announce yet about CZ acquiring CMC but if they just did, changes to CMC like the ranking will probably change drastically and I'm seeing more Chinese exchanges will be listed. It feels like the Chinese exchanges are being denied on the list which I like to be trading because some tokens I have bought last year are just in the Chinese exchanges.

Binance has grown quite large since launching in 2017, the exchange was considered largest in the world in terms of Cryptocurrency trading volume also they have obtained WazirX indian exchange too.

Guys binance will become more and more popular if this CMC deal goes well, and I believe they will surely made some changes in that where CMC did some mistakes...

Saw the news today and I must say it is a huge one if it goes through and will surely make Binance the top as well as the best crypto exchange for years to come. This is also a clear proof that the team is out to dominate the world of crypto exchanges. But talking about the issues you highlighted which Binance will solve, I tend to be skeptical in this case; since the CMC will be under their control (if finally acquired) all might play out for their own good and lastly might end up not solving everything. Also, I think no exchange is without manipulation of different kinds just that some are too good with theirs.

No more shit coins will be listed on CMC if binance team take over, the requirement of listing on CMC will be different and I guess this will benefit BNB token somehow again, CZ will clean crypto space and get rid of useless tokens and coins

If they are really going to acquire CMC and does all of those things you mentioned then yeah it will be great but isn't it a time that we stop for a moment and start asking why are we actually trying to clap for Binance and CZ for stretching their centralized power. This guy came up with ridiculous idea after Binance got hacked in last year and then his IEO ponzi launchpad has already raised eyebrows.

Binance will definitely solve many issues affecting CMC and how annoying the old CMC team are, strictly unfair results from CMC kills off it's reputation in crypto space, fake projects have to go and this is a step forward, bad exchanges with no volume must go too

Wrong accusation pal, binance was hacked and yes I got my coins back and so did everyone who lost funds due to the hack back then, since then I've trust binance exchange even more and what IEO Ponzi scheme you talking about? The most fair Exchange with IEO launch is binance among few other Exchanges

But I think, there will be good improvements if they will really take over. There are so many dead coins listed in cmc. Maybe they can just put those in an archived section. Only the active ones should be there with updated figures and links.

I like the ideas of sorting those fake projects and bring the honest reviews from each coins and exchange that previously listed from CMC, once binance
takeover and start to clean up we will be able to get good information from CMC again.
People who are investing before who's been dissatisfied from current action from CMC will be back and start to trust the data from CMC.

I was actually indirectly talking about CZ's consideration of rolling back of the Bitcoin Blockchain to reverse the hacked BTC's transactions confirmed by the network to return the funds to Binance's wallets from hackers wallets. It was a reckless idea, suicidal one and showed how much ruthless one powerful centralized organization can be in this sector.

I saw the news too but really do not have much to say but to wait for the final result because with what I read it's still under negotiation but fact is we can't predict how good it will look or bad it will look as coinmarketcap were doing good too. You can predict good when it's happening. How I wish coinmarketcap will continue operating it since it has been them.

Is Binance able to take over CMC? whereas CMC has its own team and developer?
Of course if you think about the CEO of CZ, it will be better than before because they always prioritize advanced coins and will accept shitcoin or fake exchanges with the volume of the bot.
Binance now has its own authority, namely Binance exchange and will continue to improve their quality so that they are no longer competitive.

Is there a link to know how much Binance bought coinmarketcap? The developers of it sure made a hefty amount of money. What I have seen so far is that many think that it will become more centralized and manipulated because it's Binance that will manage it.
It's from what I have read and not my personal opinion but as for my opinion, I don't have so far because I have to wait for further details before giving my thought regarding this.

Coinmarket cap is not asking any money for their service from the users so we cannot trust them blindly whereas binance is an exchange and they should be taken care of what they are listing on their exchange.Its a good move by the way since when these things begun?

That is another important point to note, cz is all about potential and prospects, unlike the owners of cmc who will list a coin without meeting the listing requirements, sometimes I do wonder how such coin already got listed while other good project are there finding it difficult to get listed,

CEO Binance has the capacity to buy CMC sites and make them more trustworthy by cryptocurrency enthusiasts, both investors and traders. I just hope that all cryptocurrency fans can enjoy something positive for the steps taken by Binance. So I am waiting for his decision.

People are saying Binance CEO is taking over the crypto on his hands, but I don't think so! Rather CMC will be a trusted source of tracking coins once again. Right now I use Coingecko because I don't like Coinmarketcap's all the rankings, no real liquidity there! So, Binance will change it to positive! It is good tidings that binance is setting the pace in the crypto currency

I don't think Binance will manipulate it! Because Binance exchange is the most trusted exchange, their volume, supporters, I don't see anything fake. I think if binance take over Coinmarketcap, it will be difficult for competitors to manipulate dat . We know how sh**t exchanges go to the top CMC rank by sending fake data to CMC. It used to confuse everyone. The binance team is very professional. If true binance is take over cmc then it might be good for everyone.

I don't know whether Binance will manipulate the data or not. But one thing is sure. From now onward, Coinmarketcap can't claim that they are an independent and unbiased organization. I know Binance is well managed and has a reputation but who knows if they want to play with the data that's being shown on CMC. I can still remember that there's a time that CMC themselves manipulated the market for a moment. The price that was shown by their tracker wasn't the correct one which made a significant impact on the market and made a lot of people in panic. I think it is a very nice deal, Binance management always works well so we really expect that there will be development additions on Coinmakretcap.com - as you mentioned - which makes the website more flexible and provides more accurate prices for only the reliable projects
On the other side epy value of the deal is a bit large about $ 400 million .

I completely agree with you, if binance will buy coinmarketcap I hope scam exchanges and scam tokens will be removed from coinmarketcap and I hope cmc will not add anymore scam companies with scam tokens, I also hope that checking for any exchange or token will be very tough, we are already tired of looking at exchanges and tokens with billions of dollars volume, but in fact, volumes of such exchanges and tokens are a couple of dollars.

Definitely, scam exchanges like Vandax, Idax, P2b2P2b2 with a host of other fake projects will gen kicked out and this will mark the beginning of an accurate statistics. You must submit accurate data henceforth.

Binance is gradually doing dominance on cryptocurrency world. They are doing many contributions that is really appreciable. If Binance team take over coinmarketcap, it will be good for the good project. From CMC it is needed to remove many shitcoins, dead coins, fake volumes for the development of cryptocurrency.

If that was true and that must be the end for those crap exchange sites which always manipulated their volumes. We are not yet seeing any update from this rumour whether this acquisition is real or not.

Yes, it would be very good if there is accurate data for it, but it will not be easy to detect false data from some of the exchanges that you mentioned, even though the reputations of the trusts of the three exchanges are completely lost in everyone's eyes, because they always cheat on a large scale.

it's hard for that, so we can see in Coinmarketcap there are thousands of registered altcoins. for now I think for projects that are willing to pay, it will be listed, but we can see that not many altcoins have good progress, and eventually disappear by themselves

I think there will be a slight change in the appearance and presentation of the data on coinmarketcap if Binance buys it. CZ is one of the revolutionaries in developing the cryptocurrency community and maybe this is a sign that the cryptocurrency market is ready to rise again

It's possible that if Binance buys a coin market, there won't be much change because most cryptocurrency investors are familiar with the look of the website that exists today. Until now, there is no clarity about why Binance bought the website but I think this is a strategic part of Binance's step

Where did you see such news ? because i haven't see the news about binance take control coinmarketcap.
Coinmarketcap now have volume displayed on 2 categories, by Adjusted Volume and by Reported Volume.
if a good team running coinmarketcap, then the statistic of the cryptocurrency on coinmarketcap should accurate.

Its an "if", there is a large percentage it won't happen.  ;D

I was once fooled by CMC expecting a large exchange for one of my token.
But as I go deep into researching why my coin suddenly went to the moon then I saw it in telegram group.
The token is already being swapped for 1000:1.
CMC didn't even looked at it. Those cases should not happen to avoid confusion.

CMC is a very large site and everyone visits it all the time to get references or check something they are looking for. If it is true that binance will buy cmc, of course it will definitely be used to benefit them too. On the other hand, expect cmc to be better and truly accurate and fair for all projects.

Certainly coinmarketcap will be better if Binance manages, but I'm not sure they will be transparent because they can do whatever they want. They will completely control this market and execute giant pumps, which is all the hypothesis that I can think of. And I hope it will never happen, we need a transparent market so that investors can trust in this market

I agree that binance is a huge team and they will definitely make a lot of things better, that is true. However, what you guys are forgetting that cmc does affect binance as well. So, let's say one day volume of binance starts to fall, do you really think they will show that? I mean we are basically talking about calculating how much binance is making right now if they tell you the truth, it is way too much data to breach if they get other places information as well.

All the above, binance will make it better but they will also not make it truthful, it will look better and feel better and be better but in reality it will be fake, which is why if cmc is purchased by binance I will stop using it, there are better alternatives anyway so I will simply move to them instead.

Binance CEO is CZ and he is not taking over CMC if they buy it, I still think that deal will not go through and Binance will not buy it but even if they do, they will hire someone else to be the CEO because CMC is a huge company right now, we are talking about hundreds of millions of dollars and not some small garage built thing anymore, which is why I think they need a new CEO of their own and not a person who will manage two companies all at once.

Maybe binance should go with the route google did, right now they have a new company called alphabet and that company owns google but owns all other companies that google normally owns as well. Binance could create a new company that owns binance and owns cmc and owns any other company they want to purchase in the future and CZ will be the CEO of that one.

You are very right but I want you to look at binance exchange for example, the requirements to hold IEO on binance is not for the small projects because I'm sure they can't afford it, if same thing happened to listing on coinmarketcap it will bring huge changes

I think this is one way to expand crypto assets, where binance is superior starting from the resources and scope. This is a good way to eradicate cases that occurred in the previous year

this is the politics and strategy of the binance to master crypto. I hope that the policies made later will not only be oriented to the binary platform. but being a CMC that provides real information is not a lie.

To be honest this is great news for a cryptocurrency community we know that a lot of users are probably trusting coinmarketcap but there are just too many things that are not right on the website as we all know.

On the other hand, we know that  Binance is already doing a great job this year since there are already so many developments done on their website. I think I would agree that Binance would do a better job in this website.

I heard about Binance will acquire coinmarketcap, it’s a kinda collaboration. They discussed about but agreement is not complete. A lot people never trust CMC for manipulation in everywhere. So right now i hope CMC will get credibility, it’s depend on Binance. If they will concern and implement specially in your three point.

I do too agree that CMC take over will be good for a better CMC and great for the crypto community.
There are many things that coingecko does better than CMC and Coingecko is more reliable

I think fake projects and volumes should be monitored more this period, Binance acquiring CMC was a good move but many are actually complaining that this acquisition may warrant low adoption of Cryptocurrency in many countries because it's looking as though one party has taking over the whole market. Lol!

If they would like to retain the trust of the people and its reputation, they'll have to do it and it put no claims against them.
A lot of fake reviews that CMC has just been ignored and still keeping it on the list. I hope this time couldn't make the people give doubt but rather trust as what they saw in the CMC this time. Well, it has to expect a huge change and hopefully, this could help to minimize the scam project.

 i never thought that Binance will acquire CMC. CZ said that they are after on the users of CMC. maybe targeting as additional traders on their exchange if people know that they are the owners of CMC???

Actually, I am also curious about the real reason that CMC wants to be acquired by Binance because the previous CEO of CMC also resigned. It could be because there is a big change in vision and mission, or there are other things. Whatever it is, Binance is truly ambitious and fully innovative in the crypto world, and by acquiring CMC one of the best steps, truly increasingly dominates in cryptocurrency.

The reason is not anymore important, but what is interesting here is on why Binance spend $400 million to buy coinmarketcap.com... we should find the reason  and how are they going to get the ROI of their big investment, and how it would impact that crypto world that it's already owned by Binance.
