If you meant Bitcoin forks[1], then you can probably check the original codebase of a certain coin. Mostly though, Bitcoin forks mostly has the word "Bitcoin" in their name(BitcoinCash, BitcoinSV, etc), and these projects are mostly transparent in telling people that the project is a fork of Bitcoin; mostly in their websites/whitepapers.

If you are talking about the concept, then the entire crypto market is based on the concept of bitcoin. There are coins who have added extra features to the basic concept of bitcoin but bitcoin is the pioneer cryptocurrency. But please specify what do you mean by "based on bitcoin".
