What happened:
I got notification that Yobit has listed Toilet Paper Token on their exchange. Link- https://yobit.net/en/trade/TPT/BTC, It has been created by Yobit itself although I do not have any proof. However, listing this coin has proved their intention. Creating coins out of nothing is definitely a scam attempt.

Additional Notes:
The volume was 822 BTC yesterday but it is now 1.22 BTC.

Are they as dump as not knowing it was an April fools joke !

Even if it was an April fool attempt from YoBit, It should have been disappeared after 1st April though.

Nope, nothing was created, it is just another coin of the many yobit has with no blockchain, that you can't withdraw and which in one month will turn to be worth 0.

Interesting. Out of all the problems we are currently facing global warming, pandemic and so on ... they decide to save the humanity from toilet paper shortage. Can't they choose something that people can believe to some extent?

I wonder what's coming up next? Perhaps tissue token or paper token?  :D

I am interested in finding an answer to the question, who are these people who buy Toilet Papet Token? Or did they think that they would get their bitcoins back for this token after the April fools ' day draw ended? In any case, they themselves are to blame for taking part in such schemes.

They hear a rumor that TP is made in China and they fall in line to buy all remaining stock.

Where I live the TP is made in a factory less than a Gm (GigaMeter) away. Just outside Kelowna, BC.

This is typical for this exchange. Just like with GRAM or similar tokens, they list their Shittokens with the same name. But it is not original tokens, but from the beginning scamtokens that they will pump and then the price will be 1 sat.

After i saw this on CMC on aprils fools day i seriously thought this token was a joke. Yobit is known for scamming and acting weird

True, but unlike their last scam called x10 which really was "nothing"(or at least there is no record of anything), TPT is erc20 token https://etherscan.io/token/0x159bbc3a28b8d5ef69ef68ede48262134d73c967. I checked this address https://etherscan.io/tokentxns?a=0xa3630383fc8c05ac6fe8b2a1ce7612a4d7e7dcd3 and there are several other yobit's scams (panda, frog, pony token etc). They are doing this for so long, and the reason:

I was going to ask if anyone can actually confirm if this is real, or just some extended April Fool Prank. However, a few findings made it clearer

The ridiculous part is that they referenced CMC's blog as the website for the token.

Verdict: Yobit is all form of the worse thing that has happened to crypto's existence.

Have seen this on the social media and thought it was a joke, we really laughed over it but to see it here after some hours that Yobit pick it and list is outrageous. When wil lyobit stop putting itself on top of the list of scam exchange? It is disgracing even for any new one interested in token to see some ridiculous news like this. I read the token was meant for purchase of toilet Paper and delivery at doorstep but was not expecting such early adoption

I have an incredible theory that yobit employees do not understand jokes and no one told them that April 1 is April fool's day) Maybe they should be told that it was an April fool's joke from coinmarketcap.
Although I understand that Yobit used a hype for toilet paper and decided to monetize it.

They need money and they can do any thing for this as they already doing with many shit coins and spam forum so they never care about any thing just money for them is real thing.

Yobit's greed and gullibility won't make them think straight, they want to make profit by any means in this crypto world and won't mind hurting other's investments. As if I knew this would happen already. Any other exchange that goes same path should also be reported for review.

They won't.

They launch fake token or just "fake", sell them to investards and collect money, some people make profit while lots lose money. When everything goes south they simple launch another fake token and "let the children play". Many will say "who gives a fuck, it was few bucks anyway" while on global scale those few bucks make really nice sum.

Yobit is very good at this one creating coins for pump and dump and their traders who know their pump and dump scheme is making a good profit from pumping this coin, I'm sure there are many losers here who do not know how the Yobit pump and dump works, it's only a matter of time before this coin will have zero volume.

That is the constant with the Yobit scammers. They roll out fake IEO/ICO one after another which have no blockchain and no means to transfer outside of yobit.net thus making it a lottery about the success of investors when facing the realities of the buy and sell wall.

They make hundreds of BTC every month from creating these fake IEO/ICOs.
