Blockchain wallet is not the best wallet to be honest, because it has lot of issues in the past and still people facing issues,avoid using online wallets.And my ether aka MEW is not an online wallet,its like a paper wallet which can be accessed via addon or their website so you will be provided with private keys to access funds.

I am mobile user so i am using Trust wallet, yes this wallet very easy to use. My web wallet hacked and i don’t know how but that's not means It's unsafe.

I am a frequent mobile user so I am more conversant with trust wallet in particular and then coinomi wallet. Never heard any problems using this two. I strongly recommend them for all ETH transactions and storage.

This is a nice and informative list which can really educate people on how best to go about Ethereum wallets and which to use in order to be free from scammers. For the mobile application, I have used all the wallets apart from Jaxx. I first started with Imtoken, then moved to Coinomi then Enjin and currently Trust wallet. Of all these wallets, Trust wallet seems to be the better one although Enjin is a real and close competitor. But the good thing is, with these wallets, assets security is achieved so far the neccessary backup keys or mnemonic phrases are saved correctly.

for the online version, the best choice is MEW, especially now the application is available in Playstore and AppStore. This makes it easier for you to access your wallet directly from your mobile.
For online wallets that are more privacy when using a PC, it's better to use the chrome plugin, Metamask (https://metamask.io/), did the OP skip this?

As a Desktop wallet i am using MyCrypto. On android i am using both - Trust and Enjin wallet, and trust is much more comfortable. In web wallets you forgot about - Metamask, that the wallet i am using the most in general when i am connecting to the Ethereum blockchain.

Nice to know,coinomi is good and I like it too and have not been disappointed since using it. Imtoken too is a wallet that I have really being using for some time so far , it is good. Tokens are received immediately it is sent.

It looks like you are getting attacked or visiting phishing site and that makes the hacker able to steal or see your privatekey. it's better for you try to use desktop wallet too. Trust wallet is created by binance and that gives a very good guarantee to the users. Just never try to download any suspicious application on your device.

Agree, MEW deserves as the best wallet for Ethereum tokens. It may be not the safest one since hard wallets must be better for security. But if we consider the ease and flexibility, MEW is truly the best option. So far, I put all my Ethereum based tokens in MEW and never got bad issues there. To honest, I can say that I am quite satisfied with MEW performance.

You can also use Coinomi wallet on Desktop computers, I already tried to use Coinomi on windows platform at the same time on my Android phone. Since I started to own ethereum, I already using Coinomi since I can use or import/export my keys there from myetherwallet.

I don't consider Blockchain.com is safe a crypto wallet cuz it's centralized and you use it with email and password. What happens if they shut down your account? Use a decentralized wallet and you will never worry about account shut down. Aside MEW, MetaMask is one of the best web wallet which you missed. MetaMask is safer than MEW, but MEW gives you more login options, so choose the right wallet according your need.

MEW has never had a security issue and this wallet is always the first choice for all investors in this market. In addition, I often use the Trust Wallet at my phone for easier management because this is the safest wallet protected by Binance and I have used it for over 1 year.

Of course there are many options for you and should learn to protect your own property.

I accept that Myetherwallet is the best one for ERC20 tokens but you have to remember that with MEW, there are many ways to backup your wallets, seeds, private key, etc. and there are corresponding different ways to log in your wallets.

From that, my advice will be:
- Try to backup your wallet with as many formats as possible. In case one of formats got issues (stop supports from MEW, in worst case) you will have other ones to use and log in your wallets.

I would recommend my ether wallet for a safe and secure payment method because only I do have access for my funds also it is probably the popular ethereum web wallet. But it's better to use in hardware wallet rather than using web wallet due to some security concerns.

Also MEW accepts all major hardware wallets which includes ledger, trezor etc. So we need not to worry about the security unless we are using hardware web.

I think this is one of the biggest news in 2018, Myetherwallet warns that a couple-of its DNS-Servers have been hacked (https://cointelegraph.com/news/myetherwallet-warns-that-a-couple-of-its-dns-servers-have-been-hacked).

So I wouldn't say that there have been no security issues in the past. Although is it still the most widely used wallet for a lot of us, but it is good that we are aware that it could be a target for hackers or scammers.

For the safest desktop wallet, in my opinion, keep myetherwallet and for Android wallet I use imtoken, as long as I use both, I never find any obstacles.

i heard there are now mew wallet available for android , not sure if there were also for ios/iphone users  but hey you use android wallet as you said so yeah  you can have a single brand of wallet than using other brands  for other platforms/o.s.

 i heard im tokenwallet  before and i heard a couple of good feedbacks with it but i think im going to stick and recomend mew more because i was also a long time user of it and never experience any major issue , also i never tried to use imtoken wallet before so thats it .

For me mew is always considered good for eth wallet. It is very convenient. You can also import it on some of the mobile wallets youve mentioned. This is a neat and good guide for eth wallets.

This is why it is secured. Yeah I didnt see in the list one of the highly secured wallet. Maybe OP forgot to note this, metamask is safe to use, however there are reports of scam activity using browser extension and users must be attentive whenever they are using this.

I like for using desktop wallet like ''Atomic'' again when i use mobile like android phone then i choice coinbase wallet. Even i have no used now hardware wallet because my holding money less. Although i always choose online wallet like myetherwallet because good safty with use easy.

For mobile I use 2 wallets up to now namely trust wallet and coinomi, I have installed imtoken, but I feel uncomfortable and finally I uninstalled it. For online wallet I used MEW before installing metamask addons, and now I use metamask more often. Maybe one day I will buy hardwallets so that my assets are safer.

I support and used all that are listed in your thread except the online wallet, I never use the online wallet after the many hacking that have happened in the past and I also do not recommend it to all my friends, the best option is the hardware wallet, desktop wallet is also very good provided that you know to secure your desktop from attacks.

The announcement did.t mean that MEW itself was hacked, it was the DNS server. While it was announced I was still using MEW with no fear and I never got hacked and till today I, I am still happily using MEW. Perhaps the reason I did not fall into such trap was that I already bookmarked it and there was no cause for me to use a phishing site of MEW.
I can still ascertain that it is of cause one of the best ever.

There is guarda wallet and Atomic wallet for mobile or smartphones too not just PC only, and I'm not a fan of PC wallets because of how vunerable they are to hacks and trojans

From the very beginning using crypto I like to use MyEtherWallet, because it is very safe for us to use and until now there have been no complaints that I get and how it is very easy to make the transaction is always smooth, and there are also some that you mentioned we can use.

Well mobile has the best wallets 8) and PC wallets are real pain in the ass since you have to download all available blockchain data, not everyone can do this, in my own country data is very costly but all the same mobile wallets rocks

For those people who are looking  ethereum wallet it can choose about the list that you gave but right now I use coins.ph it is not only ethereum wallet because it can have bitcoin, ethereum, ripple and bitcoin cash on this wallet that you can convert seasily your coin into cash.

Before  used coinbase and blockchain to store coins including the ethereum but now I transfer all my coins to country wallet that is the coins.ph and that is one of the best wallet at this now.

Are you sure? Take notr that it is still prone to breached and its handled by third party company? What if something happened to their product? Mostly these mobile wallets are the one closer to hack activities. For me, the best wallet out there for any coin not just ethereum are the hardwallets. Security wise, this is the best one to use. Yeah mobile wallet can be convenient as we constantly use our mobile phones, but just a piece of advise, use only when dealing on small transactions and never stay your coins there. Too dangerous.

Maybe he forgot or he does not know about it, Yeah, I am also a metamask user and it's pretty good and safe. I have been using it for three years now and I don't experience any issues, In fact, it is the safest web wallet. If you are looking for the best eth wallet then you are talking about Ethereum and it's smart contract easy operation with no hassle, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't like adding ERC20 tokens manually and only trust wallet get that done, all your tokens displayed with their values on exchanges too

I always use Myetherwallet as I use a desktop computer and i think MEW is the best option but do remember there are a lot of fake links about MEW website. open it from there a website or Twitter account and then save it in your pc and always use that link to use the wallet.

In Exodus you can’t setup fee size. 2$ fee for 500$ transaction are incredible numbers - isn't this a joke?

MyEtherwallet (MEW) is really one of the best wallets so far just that it is online but even at that there have been little to no issues about security breaches and so on, that is to say, hacks only takes place when private keys is exposed. On the other hand, when one opts for easy accessibility and convinence then mobile apps comes to play, yet again you can easily import your MEW wallet address into the desired mobile wallets etc. Lastly from my own experience, the best mobile app is Enjin, have being hearing good things about Trust wallet and am yet to check it out.

I find it so flawless that you don't list MetaMask, it is one of my favorite ETH wallets. I think Metamask is a good wallet and now it has reached over a million users

I use private keys and display them in myetherewallet for my token storing wallet. I put the coins I use on coinbase. But as I came to know about trust wallet, I believe it can replace both of my options. Though I haven't still got used to it and don't want to import my old private key. I'd gradually completely switch to trust wallet as I believe they are the most secure options for regular users.

In the list I use myetherwallet in the past years ago and the last I used that wallet was 2019, this wallet is not only for ethereum because a user can save or keep their tokens to that wallet and I really like it but now I did not use it for this year and I don't know what happened to them if that wallet is still available or it is close ? My wallet that I use now is good and I think I use it for the longterm.

Trust wallet and Myetherwallet are the top choices. I believe these are the best 2 wallets for mobile phone and desktop. I have been using it for more than 2 years and until now I have not had any problems with it, everything works very smoothly and quickly.

Thank you for such a detailed list. Some I even hear for the first time. But what surprised me was that I did not find the Paytomat machine wallet, which I have been using for a year. It is partly considered multi-currency, but on the basis of ethereum there are a lot of tokens there.

For mobile wallet, I use Imtoken to hold ERC-20 tokens and also use Myetherwallet for transactions. I think the two platforms are safe and their use is also relatively easy besides being accessible anywhere

Myetherwallet is one of the best desktop wallets you should choose. You can easily create a wallet and manage it, just don't let your private key be exposed, I believe your money will always be safe.

yes i agree been using it since 2017 along with MetaMask and never had any issues with it.  Clean simple, lightweight and secure wallet even it lets you make transaction offline and for sending you need internet connection. On top of that it doesn't require any special installation, just a browser is needed to operate.

I think you have listed a good source of etherum wallets, and for me personally. I have used just myetherwallet, imtoken wallet and trust wallet.
I find them so easy and convenient to use.

I agree, I've been using Myetherwallet for almost a 3 years even their an issue back then that some users coins have been transfer to another account and still I used it for storing my tokens. Its also easier to transfer my coins to crypto exchange sites. I also used Guarda wallet for some coins that supported by ethereum. We are lucky to have ethereum platform that support many tokens and bind all other cryptocurrency.

Since the first time I recognized the world of cryptocurrency until now I still use imToken-ETH, ERC20, ERC 721. because in my opinion imToken is very easy to use and has strong security, I also keep some ETH in my wallet, and I have never worried about losing my assets, because until now there has never been any incident, even though there are my assets in it.

I'm using some wallet in your list til now, and it is Imtoken wallet 2.0 it is a multipurpose wallet with a built-in crypto exchange for me it's safe, no hassle and easy to use, I'm using a lot of ERC20 wallets before but only Imtoken wallet earned my trust but I'm still trying to use more wallets just for testing purposes like Magnum, Ethos Trust wallet, etc.

Looks like you mentioned two online wallets. Blockchain wallet and MyEtherWallet. No way they should be anywhere near the "best ethereum wallet" list. None of the online wallets are safe. No matter how old they are, how secure they are, they are never hundred percent safe from hackers. You want to use a wallet where you don't have full access to the keys, do you? What if someone gets access to your username and password? They will be able to access your blockchain wallet too. What if the website goes down when you are need to access the wallet the most? Online wallets are never a safe option to store your coins!

Considering which wallets is best is very simple when we look at security and ownership criterias. Based on this I'll say the best Ethereum wallets are non-custodial wallets such as Atomicwallet, Trust and Imtoken.

I am also an Imtoken user since Imtoken V1.0.
Imtoken becomes my main mobile wallet because of the many features that are given as well as some additional new features on Imtoken2.0.

metamask is supposed to be on the list, and I think everyone also knows this wallet. many users use it. but maybe more MEW users compared to metamask. it all depends on how we carry out security in private. because even though we use an offline wallet but if we don't save properly we can lose our money.

Well researched @OP I have been using Gurda wallet, Coinomi, Trust, ImToken and the phone version of MEW which allows you to connect with their web interface. These are very good and secured wallets which I would recommend for everybody in this industry.

Actually i used now online wallet like myetherwallet and mobile coinbase wallet without no have setup others wallet. basically you have share some good wallet with more secority platform, i think everyone using different wallet' where have more opportunities (transaction, fees, secority, many think)

If you have a huge amount of ETH, I will advise you not to put it on the desktop wallets. Even some desktop wallets such as the exodus listed above will tell you not to store large amount of assets on the wallet. I will rather advise you to use MEW.

For storing huge amount of cryptos hardware wallets are the safest compared to MEW because we always have to connect to internet while using it and also if our system is under phishing attack or other malware infections we might tends to lose our funds and if it is larger then it is going to broke you completely.

Mew could be used for storing tokens when the asset values are in few hundreds of dollars.

I also think that myetherwallet is most popular waley service available. Now I use many wallets but most of the time for ethereum I go for myetherwallet. For mobile wallet I prefer a wallet called math wallet. not only for ethereum it's for almost all chain coins. For me that's it's. Choosing a wallet depends on owner and if you have money then you could go for hardware wallet that is the best option available .

Now myetherwallet is launched mobile wallet which is known as a MEWconnect, i think it was expectation for mobile users. These web wallet reached a million of users. Personally i am converted online to android wallet for getting more secure. Exodus can't to be list as a mobile wallet? I think you should add these wallet in the both categorise.                      

I think you missed extension based Metamask wallet. I'm using this wallet for a while and I haven't faced any sort issues.

I'm a traveller so i prefer using a mobile metamask, very convenient and fast transactions.

By the way, in addition to my comment. Yesterday I found for myself such a wallet called Huobi Wallet. This is the official wallet Huobi exchange. It is also a multi-currency. As for the ERC-20 tokens, there are many times more of them than in Trust, for example. I was surprised. And the interface is nice)

In my opinion, the best wallet for ethereum and other cryptocurrency is a hardware wallet, just a self-error that can make stored assets lost. Whereas mobile, web, desktop and exchange wallets, they can be scams at any time.

I have no pc/laptop right now so i use mobile, even i download trust wallet Coinbase wallet and myetherwallet. Basically i holding btc in Coinbase wallet and myetherwallet wallet everytime. Really Coinbase wallet best for me, when i take buy and sales others people in my country.

you should add MetaMask in the list, it is one of the best wallets for everyday use, with low amounts of money, money that is stored for HODLing should be held with hardware wallet, or the one that you do not access often

I don't suggest this most of the time because of the behavior of the wallet. It's a closed-source and you are likely putting your funds at risk with that wallet.

If something happens to the wallet, you have to contact them because they are the ones that hold your fund. A buggy wallet and the same with their bitcoin wallet.

Paper wallet is very secured, but its rather hard to make a transaction from one without any software at all.
online hot wallets are damn not safe at all, but they are free and easy to use, feels more like a paypal account.

That is a web wallet and I don't trust web wallets anymore. The most recommendable wallet is open source wallet and it means you are holding your own private key and password. So it means, it is impossible from compromising that might led from hacking and stealing your fund.

MEW wallet and Metamask is the best ethereum wallet i used and here in my country ,we have a trusted wallet that you can store your ethereum and you can cash out it easily,the Coins.ph....theres a lot of wallet that you can store your etehreum ,it's up to you if what wallet is the best for you and you want to use for your fund.

I also used MEW wallet in storing my ethereum because it is really famous and a lot of people trust this wallet, but mostly i store all of my ethereums in my ledger wallet because i think it is the safest way to store your cryptos to avoid your funds from getting hacked.

That is true, saving a lot of asset on centralized exchange is so dangerous. Although we store it on some reputable exchange, we just have a small chance to believe that the exchange is really save. A cold wallet is a solution for us to store our asset safely, especially for long term investment that is very recommended for all user instead of choosing to store their money on an exchange.

This is a very good and informative post. The collection of different wallets for different platforms is categorized nicely.  Depending upon the platform, we can select the best wallet. For me, I am still using myetherwallet. Planning to go with a ledger in the near future.  For mobile users, the trust wallet is best from my perspective.

I do not travel at all, I am a freelancer and I work at home and rarely ever go outside (nowadays basically never except one time per week to buy stuff for house needs) and I still use metamask.

It is basically all around convenient for everyone who uses it and has been that way since it started and doesn't matter if you go outside or stay at home or whatever you do, as long as you have your computer with you, you can use it, plus there are ways you can use the same thing even if you do not have your computer with you and you can open from somewhere else on some other computer but I would suggest doing otherwise since it is risky to use your wallet on different computers, even if the computer you use is someone you trust doesn't matter they can't be hacked neither.

As a bounty hunter and low capital trader, i have never really had to use any web etherum wallets, or cold storage. I have always used a mobile wallet.
But i think trust wallet is the best. It has a very good interface and it is easy to you by anyone including a newbie.

Yes, I know it as a web wallet and as I've said I don't recommend it to anybody anymore. There's a lot of reported glitch and experience of other users told that they were not really good and if you have a fund stuck there, it's very risky because you might let it stay there forever.

I also have good experience and no problem met with MEW but I stopped using them until I started owning a ledger wallet. There's also keepkey and trezor as another example of good hardware wallets.

Exodus wallet, guarda wallet and Atomic wallet are available on mobile as well, for newbies the easiest wallet so far is trust wallet, they don't have to deal with adding tokens manually

In the past few years upto this few years many people are still investing and keeping their ethereum. So other investors for sure are looking for different kinds of wallet for the ethereum wallet . Choosing ethereum wallet for you is better to do because that coin is possible for the next bitcoin so we need to keep safe our money to that future.

I have used almost all the wallets with the exception of hardware wallets. Looking forward to owning one soon. Until then I use Atomic Wallet for my eth and erc20 tokens where able to swap back and forth some of the supported assets

Thanks for the information. In my opinion, the Ethereum wallet that you present is widely used today and is a good recommendation. even myself so far still rely on Ethereum wallet in the online and web category, MyEtherWallet.

My favorite  Ethereum wallet which I can recommend to people  anytime is Trust wallet.  Although I have been using Imtoken for sometimes now and no issues,  I still prefer Trust wallet as being the easiest and safe for me. 
 I was using MEW and I got hacked twice so I can't even recommend that to my worst enemy.

Best Ethereum Wallet? for me there's no best wallet in best hacker, we know that every wallet it's either online or offline has a third-party even you are using web wallets there is a possibility to lose your cryptocurrency. Even Ledger Nano or Trezor has a chance to lose or anyone can steal your hardware wallet. But for me! We are talking for the best wallet that were using right now, rather to a wallet that we are comfortable to use.

From this list, i'm only use Trust Wallet and Coinomi, Trust wallet for token from ETH, BNB and TRX, coinomi is for coins from bounty or airdrop. for online web i only choose MyEtherWallet, easy to use. Hardware wallet.. hope i will have one someday  :'(

so far, I've only used Myetherwallet, and haven't found a problem until now. Well, I've tried using a number of desktop wallets, it's just that I'm not very comfortable, because I think it's easier to access by the people closest to me.

Im using ethereum wallet too and thanks for categorizing the different wallets that you knows , Im using one wallet that can store ethereum , bitcoin and also the other different kinds of altcoins and it is very good to me because in one wallet I can store all my coins but for the ethereum wallet the best for them is to hold only ethereum to the best wallet they want.

Important to remember that the private key or seed from myetherwallet must be stored safely somewhere, otherwise your wallet could be compromised.

In my opinion, the best Ethereum wallet is the wallet of the exchange, unless the exchange runs away, otherwise it is much safer for the exchange to keep Ethereum than we do.

Thank for this discussion :). Starting with the desktop wallets, I have not made use of the Gurda, Atomic and MyCrypto wallet, but I have used the Exodus wallet and it’s very good. So I am only going to recommend that one, and it also has a really good interface on Desktop. As for Mobile (Android and iOS), I don’t like the other wallets that were mentioned apart from the Trust wallet.

Trust wallet is the only one I like, and I have tried all of them that you mentioned there. And there are also some bad reports on Coinomi as of recent. Then as for Hardware wallets, I have only used the Ledger Nano S, and I have not tried others yet. And lastly, online wallets, Blockchain is already a good choice there. I also have the Blockchain wallet on mobile.

Also we should always check the official sources of any wallets before installing their apps in our mobile. Bit time, hackers are try to make new apps and publish that in any app store to stole others private key or wallet informations. BTW, we should also be aware of using rooted mobile phones because the hackers can easly hack your wallet ,if you are using that in a rooted mobile phones.

All this wallet are good, But i like trust wallet most. For Erc20 i have been using Trust wallet. Trust wallet is my favourite wallet. It's safe and low fees for every transaction. I also using Myetherwallet and Blockchain Ethereum wallet. I have been using this wallet for one years without any problem.

These are all good wallets, ranging from mobile to web. For simplicity and easy to use especially as it concerns even newbies and everyone,I think trust wallet is a choice. I use ledger nano s for hardware wallet and its been serving well. For mobile wallet, i use blockchain wallet, trust wallet and imtoken most often and sparignly use others when need be. I noticed trust wallet is faster with transactions utilzing minimal fees too comparatively. I've tried atomic wallet but i prefer trust wallet and imtoken since their DAPPS section is cool added to their multi wallet function.

trustwallet for me is the best mobile wallet you can have, it supports many coins and tokens both erc20 and erc721, in terms of security and backup it is among the most complete as there is the possibility of having both passphase and seed / private key. the team recently introduced their token called TWT distributed by inviting other users to download their wallet. In my opinion, it is the top of the mobile wallets.

until now I still use myetherwallet and trust wallet that I put on my smartphone but I rarely use it because I prefer to use myetherwallet which in my opinion is safer and more comfortable to use and has many changes which in my opinion confuse new traders.

Yes, this are some pretty good wallet and I am using a trust wallet right now. The mobile version of the Ethereum wallet is a trust wallet I think. Their interface is very good and simple and easy to change and use. But for desktop wallet, I do not know other wallets beside the Atomic wallet. I think the Atomic wallet is very good but it has a limited amount of token and its not like trust wallet that supports every erc 20 tokens.

I only use MEW as an online wallet since it is the most convenient and trusted online wallet. It's the wallet I have been using for ERC-20 tokens since I started her. I also have a hardware wallet Nano Ledger to keep my funds offline fore better security. I never use the mobile wallet due to the risk of losing your wallet if you lose your phone. It is always better to keep a back up for your wallet.

I also use Nano Ledger as a storage for my assets for the long term and if I only use it for transactions I usually only use MEW wallet, and for mobile wallet it is very vulnerable to use if your cellphone is not stored safely, because cellphones are often carried where do we go afraid the phone is gone

I think its so long since I discovered this wallet and when the token type of ICOs exist on 2017 they become more popular and now they upgrade their system and even have the mobile app but I am not using it but only the desktop wallet. For mobile app wallet I am using the imtoken to view my tokens. This is really good cause you can use your mew address and import it there and still able to use the same wallet. But of course you should be careful since this is still a third party app.

Are you sure about that? As far Ive known there is a case where mew got compromised. Yes it is been hacked, but its few years ago already.

Wallets should alwayd be intact and we must keep all necessary keys to avoid being hacked. The case of mew is about their server before but I think they increase their security protocol even more.

Ledger Nano X is a very good wallet and it supports Ethereum and all other tokens on the ETH chain. That’s already choice if you’re going to be making use of it, it’s already enough. This upgrade is easy as the S ledger, and carries Bluetooth and battery, quite a good upgrade. I have used the ledger Nano S, but I would say the X is better because of the two features it has led to an increase in mobility.

I am interested in making use of the Trezor wallet, would love to know how it compares to the Ledger Nano. Atomic is a good wallet, same thing with Exodus, but I prefer Gurda, the white interface is really cool. In the case of mobile wallets you have mentioned here, I have used all except imToken wallet. As for the four I have used, Trust wallet is better for me, it has a simple interface that looks better than the others.

If you are using MyEtherWallet from your computer, it is better to do it through Ledger! This way you can save your funds from phishing!

And yes it is safe to use but we must be careful sometimes because of these have a phising site its the same of Myetherwallet platform. Choosing a right wallet is most important part of cryptocurrency business. For example hardware wallets are best for Hodlers and mobile wallets are best for traders.

O don't see anyone who will store his or her trading funds on hardware wallet because of the stress that with be involve in the process. I will candidly advise anyone use other good and reputable wallets for the safe keeping of trade funds like Ejin wallet, this wallet has served me many times without any stress and would recommend for others. I personally believe only official Ethereum wallets - metamask and myetherwallet, third party apps like AtomicWallet other are not to be trusted - its my opinion, you do not see the code, you can´t know that creators are honest and they do not see your private keys (I am not expert, but I think that it is possible)  ;)

This is a good and reasonable topic, I usually carry out blockchain activities from my phone. In this case I work with UPS on the phone, I have not had any problem with any money transaction and transfer.

Ethereum is always good in its service, I use both mobile & laptop so the hacking issues come to me weak, basically i am accustomed to both phone and laptop.

The desktop maintains a smooth speed at work, and logging through its file is a good choice. Basically I prefer desktop version.

When working on my PC, I use Metamask, which I consider to be the most convenient to use. As a mobile version, I use the Trust wallet, which is quite reliable in terms of security.

MyEtherWallet is easier to use and understand, and they have now also developed Android and IOS versions. Metamask is very helpful for me especially when I want to claim something or connect to several platforms. Trustwallet, I never uninstalled this application.

My first wallet is imtoken. I really enjoyed it after which I tested coinomi then Trust wallet came which I love most. I also use the blockchain wallet but not like the way I do with trust wallet. Great list I must say.

I have been using MyEtherWallet since 2017 and recently I switched to Metamask because it is more convenient for me. However, I am looking for a desktop wallet and I find MyCrypto quite secure, I would consider using it.

As a mobile wallet, I'm using just the Enjin wallet, it is so easy to use it for me, and also there is not any problem in the wallet. l have not been disappointed since using this wallet. l advise also to use a hardware wallet and it is so the best-recommended wallet. It is such good lists for using of ETH wallets. The Jax wallet and Trust wallet do the job but the mining fees per transaction can not be adjusted, from my experience.
Trust wallet is the worst for holding the altcoins and ERC20 tokens, the fee can not be adjusted as I did on the alternative mobile wallets. The errors start to happen after changing the initial ETH gas fee on the token transfer transactions.

There are lots of Ethereum wallet going in Google play or in website for to use and store your eth blockchain coin but I think trust wallet is the best wallet because fund transfer is very easy with good interface. Myetherwallet for app or website is also good. Every eth wallet is good enough to hold your assets if you save your private key very securely. Not give anybody private keys or memonic because private wallet is not a holder wallet it is a wallet anybody can access who has private keys. So be smart and use any wallet you liked the most.

MEW is still the best wallet for crypto users to store their tokens, MEW with its development has tried to update and make more simple and many innovation changes that have been made. I still use MEW to keep all altcoin tokens to date, although in its development there are many renewable wallets, but still MEW is the best at the moment.

So far, I have used MyEtherWallet and I also have Nano Ledger S. I keep all my alts on my Ledger which I intend to hold for long-term purposes and those that I trade and intend to sell are kept in MEW. I haven't tried using mobile wallet since I am not at ease keeping it on my phone.

If you are looking for the mobile wallet then definitely Trust Wallet. It is available for both iOS and Android, has support for any ERC20 compatible token (autodetect all the tokens) and ERC721 collectables.

I'm just using myetherwallet it was satisfied me and continue using it, my friend said that trust wallet is a good one specially if you want apps it was friendly user and has a good user interface it was not hard to used and no lagging so if I have time I will try to used it and review the wallet to see it on my eyes.

There are some open source mobile wallets available for cryptos as well where you have complete control over your funds because you own the private keys but as long as you have hardware wallets you may not need any of them but for the one who can't afford hardware wallets they should go for open sourced wallets to ensure the safety of your funds while holding in your mobile.

I have never tried any other wallet for ethereum except myetherwallet even I am not preferring to make use of online wallets. I once heard about the too technical nature of ethereum's native wallet and then started using only myetherwallet for year. Just from the OP's post I came to know about all other options for ethereum but I am seeing only very few are known names there hence I may not switch from myetherwallet in near future.

Moreover, I have plan to make use of myetherwallet's android version; as per what I read, I guess we can interlink web version with mobile version to safely transact but not yet tried. If I am asked to pick anything other than that then I will go for Trust wallet as per this community's opinion (there were at least two topics on trust wallet here on its features and credibility). So, making use of a new wallet after this community's opinion will not be a problem for me.

Ethereum is the biggest platform based token available. So there is a lots of wallet support for it. But most of the people who knows about ethereum are known of myetherwallet. I think everyone should try it. It's a web based wallet support all standard and all types of ethereum based token. And it's also my favourite. Other than that for mobile use I use a wallet called mathwallet. It's support others chain too. But it's easy to use. You can pick any of the wallet just check that it's support all the ethereum standards.

MyEtherwallet is really a cool wallet. The truth is that, when you join crypto through airdrops and bounty, you are likely to use the wallet as it's highly recommended by most people. I have used it in the past and I must say it's great. The reason I had to switch is that, I graduated from being a hunter to more of an investor lol. So I needed a place I could store coins on different blockchain, XRP to be specific. I was a trustwallet user from the beginning plunging in the crypto world and feel comfortable until now. besides simple I also think it supports a lot of tokens.

yes, speaking of ethereum wallet I think the best is the MEW online wallet, in my opinion it is very safe and easy to use too. on the other hand about cellphone wallets like Trust wallet & coinomi. Both of these cellphone wallets have many features and can hold several tokens generated from the Ethereum platform.

So far I am only using 3 wallets for Ethereum first is the Nano Ledger for my long term hold and investment,
Second is MEW for all my erc20 tokens I have been using MEW for so long now ever since I found it I never had any problem with it.
And my last wallet is a mobile app which I use to easily convert my ETH into BTC or other crypto and into Fiat.
But if I would recommend a wallet for newbie's it would be a hardware wallet to make sure that all of their crypto investment are safe.

I have been using myetherwallet and so far it is good. I have done transfer some coins and trade it to exchanges. But to others wallets being mention, I have no experience in using them probably I am satisfied with Myetherwallet. It has been a lonh time since I am having this online wallet.

It may good to have other options other than the wallet we used to store our crypto. But never should be exchanges wallet to be use as permanent wallet. This because exchanges are prone to hacking activities and crypto funds will be at risk.

OP should include the link for official wallet that he is posting there are a lot of fake Ethereum wallet now because Ethereum now is on the hype because of the increase in the price and of course because of these DeFi but anyway still good post I am not aware of some of the wallets he posted.

I personally from the beginning until now MEW remains my choice and it is true that MEW is very suitable for beginners because it is very safe and easy to use. actually every wallet has its own advantages and beginners can choose from a list that has been given by the OP according to their wishes.

To store my personal funds, I also prefer Blockchainfo, which provides a high degree of protection and the ability to confirm all my actions and at the same time allows you to store bitcoin, ethereum and other cryptocurrencies.

There is actually no "best wallet", I can say IMTOKEN is my best wallet since i can easily adjust fees and it also gives me access to DAPPS. Hence I can use the DAPP browser to access even the recent DEFI platforms. It all depends on what you want in a wallet and how secure the wallet is. Also the team behind the wallet, are they reputable or not. Trust wallet I can say is outstanding wrt mobile wallets.

Trust wallet will be the best option for everyone, I've been using it for over 2 years and am always happy with it. This wallet is becoming more popular every day and now more than 5 million people use it every day

many wallets offer convenience, but I only use MEW to store my ETH, and blockchain.com to store my Bitcoin, but that doesn't mean I don't use other wallets .. I also use TRUST wallet and metamask for other coin transactions. but the most important safety factor that must be considered in every wallet when storing Bitcoin, ETH and other coins..

Why is it popular? Because it has all the cryptocurrency in one place? I'm not a frequent Trust Wallet user, but as far as I have noticed, it does not allow to set fee for bitcoin transaction. User can adjust ethereum gas fee manually, but as to bitcoin, user need to that what wallet offers.

Trust wallet can be protected by 6-digit number, while Atomic Wallet (for example) allows you to make as long password as you wish.

I would not claim Trust wallet to be the best option.

For me MyEtherWallet is the best of all, until now I only use MEW to store my ethereum and tokens, it's so easy, secure (Open it with Json File and password), and very simple, no need to download and install any software. Yes, many good wallets out there which provides so many features but simple and secure for me is no1

My first wallet was MyEtherWallet since i am new to crypto at the time and that's what my friend told to use but i find hard it to use that's why i switch to mobile trust wallet which really a secure and user friendly app that offers lots of features to all users. It has good ratings and reviews that's why it is perfect wallet app for me and i never had a problem at all.

Myetherwallet is the best wallet you can use, as long as you keep your private key carefully, I believe you will never have a problem with it. Also Trustwallet is also a good option if you only use the phone

I really like Atomic, Jaxx and Metamask. Those are my favorites but the top 1 I use is Metamask, is so simple and easy to use and connects with every dapp seamlessly.

Huh? Weird that there is no MetaMask as the best Online or Web list? Only those two MyEtherWallet and Blockchain wallet as the best online or web for ETH? Did I miss something about MetaMask or bad news about it since I used it from 2018 and seem like there is no problem. MetaMask was very popular cause MyEtherWallet was at a lot of heat back then because of fake site, fishing pvt key,... So why there is no MetaMask in your list?

Understand that the OP is a newbie and he provides the information footing his research and knowledge. However, sometimes is not about the wallet you use but taking the right security measures and avoiding human errors which was what led to the hack of most MyEtherWallet users then. Meanwhile, it not advisable to use MyEtherWallet without Metamask.

Best online Ethereum wallets like MyetherWallet and mobile wallets like Imtoken or Trust wallet. I currently use two online wallets and a mobile phone such as MEW & Trustwallet. in my opinion this wallet is also safe to use, on the other hand the features or functions are quite good especially it can store several erc20 tokens.

When i joined crypto newly my  first wallet was MEW , where i had to login every time with my private key until i clicked a phishing link and was hacked. my assets all stolen. that happened twice and i stopped using MEW .

 For over three  years now i have been using Imtoken and have not had any issue . therefore if you   ask me my best Eh wallet i will say imtoken.
Though i have used trust wallet for some assets but Imtoken 2.0 remains my best.
 
 

 I use Trust wallet because it supports Ethereum and other blockchain token/coins . it is simple and safe to use although alot of other ethereum wallets have been created but i have not tried those once yet .token pocket is the next i want to try i learnt it is good too. I hope i will enjoy it like Trust wallet.

At this moment ethereum is the one of the biggest platform based token. And I thik it's the most used platform too. So there is a high amount of 3rd party development going for ethereum. And there is no shortage of eth wallet. A lot of walltes are available. I personally use myetherwallet. When I first joined this community that was the first wallet I used for ethereum. And it's pretty good. And for mobile I go for math walletm. That's it for me.

I have used Imtoken wallet for a long time I must say I love it because it is convenient for me as a mobile wallet. Lately I used enjin wallet to import my eidoo wallet and it was impressive I will be looking into it. I love mathwallet and trustwallet too. 

I have never had any problem with all the wallets I have used, although I am always very selective when choosing wallets to make use of.
Talking about mobile wallets, I have been making use of Blockchain wallet for years now, and it has been working properly for me, no issues at all.

Other wallets I am making use of is the Trust wallet, Coinbase wallet, and Bitpay wallet. They all can be used to store Ethereum. And yes I have seen people complain about these wallets, but sometimes I think the fault is from these people. I have seen someone say that their money disappeared from their Trust wallet, and he claimed Trust wallet is owned by scammers, but I know for sure that Trust wallet is reliable.

for me personally for the best mobile wallet like Trustwallet, the first time I had an altcoin and kept it in the Trust wallet. even today I have no serious problems with my assets in the Trust wallet. i like this wallet because it is safe and can hold some bounty tokens too.

For desktop, i use Metamask. This one is safest to me than others. And on my android device i use Trust Wallet.
I don't have any trust issue with it As this one is the product of binance.

I think, there are few wallets which are good for holding such as coinbase, my ether wallet and trust wallet. My favourite is coinbase which i used it over three years. 

I have been in the crypt for 6 years, but I have not used one wallet. Stored either on an exchange or on a contract

Metamask is the top.
I also use metamask from the beginning and have seen its evolution.

FYI, coinbase is also an exchange not a real wallet, but you have been doing this mistake for very long time and swap to a wallet before you lose any money to an exchange.Exchange hacks are the most possible reason for anyone could lose their account but there are also other reason we can lose our funds stored on an exchange like account frozen due to suspicious activity or losing access to 2FA,etc.

I don't think Myetherwallet is safe, it just depends on how you keep your wallet safe. Hardware wallets are the probably most secure, it cost money but it's worth because of security.

I've been through a lot of ETH wallets but there is this one that I used since then. MEW wallet, I mean most of them can be imported but this one can be tracked using a multiple sites which you can see if your token got listed and how much the price bid for it. It's easier unlike the other wallets.

i kept a closer look to see if Token Pocket will be mentioned amongst the mobile devise wallets but its unfortunate it didn't make the list. Although TokenPocket isn't mentioned in the list it happens to be one of my most favorable and most cherished wallets i ever used. you can give it a try and you will understand better.

Actually, the security of a wallet depends on how we protect it, such as the private key and password that the city has. And be careful with some fake sites that have a similar name to them and be careful of the email we receive because sometimes hackers send phishing email.

May be the mobile wallets are really user friendly but i would not advice in holding your coins using a mobile wallet as it is not that secure especially if you are holding huge amount of coins. I am using MyEtherWallet as a default wallet as it is not that complicated and if you are having a hardware wallet it is more secure and then i am using Atomic as a secondary wallet.

For the extension version you can use Metamask, and for hardware you can use Lockbox, a product of Blockchain.

Although these are recommended wallets, it would be nice not to hold large amounts of your coins in one wallet.

myetherwallet and trezzor are the two best combined wallets, because myetherwallet is online and can be used for transactions at any time while trezzor can be used for long-term storage and avoid hackers

Good listing ethereum wallets, of all the wallets that have been mentioned in the opening post, only a few that I have used.
Among others, Atomic, Trust wallet, Coinomi, Ledger, Trezor, and Myetherwallet. Of all the wallets I have listed I am most
comfortable using MyEtherWallet. There are a lot of bounty projects that I work on, tokens that I get saved on MyEtherWallet,
although most of them are shitcoins located on MyEtherWallet. But MyEtherWallet is very safe and comfortable for me to use
until now.

I cannot find imtoken token on your list. In those das, two to three years ago, imtoken was more common among other forms of wallets. Adding the custom contract of a token is nothing hard while using it and it is very secure. No issue has been had o it, but for MEW, there was sometimes a DNS attack, which is why some people see it as not being safe in any wise.

Good list but AWC can be used as desktop and wallet, infact it is my favorite for mobile before Trust wallet as regards easy of use and features. Coinomi has also been great as I am yet to see any issue

Atomic wallet is now one of our favorite wallets, which means this wallet is very easy to use. I believe, as new every user started to think that his first wallet is very easy to use. But I used several wallets, still I love Coinbase wallet for mobile app. I also do Atomic wallet but this wallet supports so many coins.

I take your word for it. As an Android user, I have four of the listed wallets but currently use two (Imtoken & Coinomi) at the moment because they haven't given me any reason for concern. They're trusted, though someone may argue the safety of Coinomi, and easy to navigate. For ERC tokens, I strictly use Imtoken and the tokens arrive on their own without me having to manually enter any contract addresses. Stress free.

Ethereum is  one of the biggest platform based token. It has huge volume and use cases too. It is the second popular crypto for a long time. So there are a lots of software and apps support for eth available in the market. I used a lots of ethereum wallets but myetherwallet is best among them. And it is the first wallet I used. But still I liked it. And for mobile I use a wallet called math wallet. Cause it's a one app solutions for many chains. Whatever you use just double check that the wallet is fully decentralised and support all eth standard. That's it.

There are indeed a whole lot of wallets to choose from, one needs to consider the worth of her holdings as well as the budget to decide on the wallet address to use. I prefer the ledger nano, but it is too expensive for me, so I'll have to settle for blockchain Web wallet as well as other mobile wallet like Imtoken, trust and coinomi.

I've tried all Android wallets and in my personal opinion the easiest to use are Imtoken and truswallet while for web wallets I still recommend myetherwallet
but why is metamask not on your list?

Im always using MEW in my first day in crypto and one of my friend advice me to use it if I dont have any ETH wallet that I use.
And MEW was easy to use and have more security but we need to be careful because of these have a same site of MEW Ill think those sites are a phising website it can get all ETH and altcoins if you have mistake to login on that kind phising site so must better to bookmark already and save the link put in a safest place.
