Title: Good Grid trading bot?
Post by: Tipstar on April 06, 2020, 11:00:54 AM
Grid trading got my attention and I looked for some cheap and easy bots to do that but didn't find any solution without problems. Can anyone recommend me a good grid trading bot that's simple to use for a beginner?

All I know about grid trading is you create a counter buy order for every sell order. Can we do it manually? Can anyone point me to how it can be done. I don't have great knowledge about APIs but I can automate things. Any experience about grid trading are welcome.

I am currently using this robot, which includes cross-market arbitrage, grid trading, cash arbitrage and other functions, but the forum seems to be unable to send links? 8)

Just some advice: I personally don't think you should be using trading bots as a beginner. Trading bots are just a tool used by traders to automate some of the things they're doing; and along with that, trading bots are something that traders modify a lot to fit their trading indicators and strategies.

But if you just want to try it out with some play money, probably try out Gun Bot? It's quite reputable as much as I remember as it's endorsed by a few reputable members here. Dyor. Best of luck!

FAbout y perspective, using trading not is quite risky even in the introduction of the platform that is using trading bots. Because it is too hard to 8dentify the algorithm of the bots !nd still the programmer has the control about the bots trading skills also it is not quite good at you because you are now become a dependent become, unlike other people they make trading at their own. After all, they explore their skills and knowledge about trading. Also, it is better to make sure you know the movement of your trading because not all of the information or data of the bots are accurate and precise because it is dependent on the algorithm given by the programmer.

I want to suggest you try BitUniverse trading bot (https://bot.bituniverse.org/) , it is a very consistent and good bot, able to link your top crypto currency accounts.
It lets you set a trading bot for your Binance, Kucoin, hydax and more exchange platform.

Ain't experts on using this but as what I have heard this is not advisable for beginners to use. This is a very crucial step if you are using a grid strategy, you should always have double care and vigilance with the movement of the market price while using this strategy. The stop-loss orders prove to be essential with this grid strategy and yes, you can manually set up your using trading bot through this grid.

I have a little insight into this abut I don't know how accurate it is.
Pros.
  • It Could be beneficial if you don't rely on the single fluctuation in the market.
  • You can always take advantage of the market range, consistency of market definition value.
  • Low but consistent profit.

Cons.
  • Not recommended for newbie because this is not a failsafe way to trade your crypto asset.
  • If you don't know how to work stop-loss orders set up, this isn't recommended.
  • Aways have care and vigilance against the market movement.

PS, I wrote this for my own opinion. Manage your own risk if you don't want to lose all your money.

I have a good online link to read for you, HOW TO GRID TRADE: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. (https://www.tradingview.com/chart/OMGBTC/kuM4mkYn-HOW-TO-GRID-TRADE-The-Good-The-Bad-and-The-Ugly-Tutorial-5/)

Thanks. It's what I was looking for. It's near to what I thought it would be.
It's not difficult to make a number of orders but what I should do from the manual is to make a new order for every executed order. It would not be possible to do that manually for small differences so I'm going to do it in a large difference, say tens of dollars and maintain it manually till I stay online. I'd than reveal my findings here.
