Post by: Banadony on April 14, 2020, 02:22:37 PM
Hey it may sound stupid or encouraging. anyhow you see it but we should acknowledge the fact that BOUNTIES Still pays. yes it is still paying But you need to do your research and don't dive into any bounty on the timeline. the first rules and information giving out here by our fore fathers on this platform still stand.
do your research before joining any project. there are bounties that are still paying. so i encourage anyone here still hunting to to work smart. you will be rewarded but don't join everything on the bounty thread. there are consequences.

Yeah, there are some Bounty is still pays to bounty hunter. But, it's worth it to spend 2-3 months work and payed by low value token? I don't think so.

Why this thread in Beginner & Help? Altcoin discussion more fit since you topic explaining about Altcoin.

I can't blame for those user who joining this forum only to become bounty hunter, but I think it's better for those newbie is read, learn and start contribution in this forum. After your rank is qualified for signature campaign, you can join... if not, nevermind.

You can also get bitcoin by offering your service, it's more worth than bounty.

Almost all the bounties pay (even the scam ones), but the real question here is if the payment is actually worth anything.

If you take 10 bounty campaigns at once, how many of them will pay you and how much will you earn from that? The chance of getting a fair amount is very low. I haven't visited the altcoin bounty section for a long time now and didn't participate as well. But I have idea on them since back in the day, I had tried to participate but got nothing. It's as always, "Waste of your valuable time."

As an experienced bounty manager, maybe you have smart answers to questions that you ask the OP.  :D

I know that most bounty hunters who feel cheated by various types of fraudulent projects will not get anything of value even if they get tokens or coins from it. Useless products from various types of projects will only add rows of tokens or coins to the bounty hunters wallet.

OP, I would not say that all altcoin projects are bad and do not produce anything for bounty hunters. But most of the products that are produced from bounty dont even have a fair sale value and they cant even compete with other products in the market. Obviously this is a very bad thing, traders interest in new coin or token has diminished and this will only consume a lot of investor time and money.

I've seen almost all of it my friend.
Good projects going bad. Good projects just failing because reason X.
Scam projects making shit ton of money and hunters loved it (bitconnect and similar)

So yeah. Good or bad, it differs from one hunter to the other. But most of them are in it for the quick buck

Of course, The majority of the bounties always pay, but only few of them reach exchanges and have a decent value. Some are just worthless tokens and left to dust. Anyways, I want to share this thread by our fellow bitcointalk member his gathering a list of decent projects with bounties here on bitcointalk, Just take a look but also make your own research. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228629.msg53916917#msg53916917

That must be true, the team didnt even care about the development of the project and this was the reason for the lack of funds from investors for ICO and other altcoin projects which eventually made the list of good projects diminish.

I really want to say that all bounty hunters must get justice from the work they do for the altcoin project. I just hope that all the altcoin project teams must have the initial funding to pay for all promotional participants and recruit professional and experienced managers to manage the campaign. Not an easy matter, but that is what I think.

I just wonder why those paymasters don't want to reward them in Bitcoin? After going through the hassle of finding at least one exchange to support some XYZ coin, I think many should have realized they lose more than they earn.

Those alt days are long gone since 2018.

It's because they would rather let you have their 10 Million shitcoins with no value than divide 1 Bitcoin that has value to the people who blindly adverised for them. It's a trick that has been used for long to acquire free advertising services by bounty hunters because let's be honest, the 10 million shitcoins that are going to be paid to the bounty hunters haven't even been listed in the exchanges which means they have zero value.

Unless bounty hunters wake up and avoid making free advertisements. They will continue to be fooled.

Bounties is not for all members here.

Even we have many scam project in bounties, there are still good project we have and good payment rate for other members.

Bounties will only works for those who have moretime and accpet that there are also time that they will experience no payment at all for promoting a project.

Even how good you are reviewing a project it doesnt mean you didnt experience to participate in scam campaign. Reviewing will just reduce the risk but it will not confirm legitimacy of the project.

I am pretty sure that from time to time a new campaign comes along that is actually worth at least something. But we are talking about 1 out of 1000, maybe the percentage is even smaller. Do bounty hunters get paid? Sure they do. They are awarded with a brand new token that increases their ERC-20 token holdings from 100 to 101, with a total value of $0.05.

Think about it, if these campaigns had faith in their tokens, wouldn't they want to keep them for themselves, and pay their advertisers in BTC, ETH or some other coins, even cash? Or give a percentage of both.

Other than not wanting to actually purchase your preferred crypto (before you hodl), including having lots of spare time on your hands (for the duration of the bounty) and aside from simply being challenged by trying to figure things out for yourself if you'd actually earn something for nothing (but in reality it's really your time and effort your providing), bounty hunting isn't really for everyone's cup of tea.

Its a different story, we need to accept that more the project is also want to collect money from us investors. that's why they choose to use thier tokens as payment and secured the funds in btc-eth in them for development.

I am also looking for a camp that will change the way they advertise it. Having a campaign that paid in ETH and BTC is much more looks legitimate compare to bounties that give only tokens as payment.

Most bounty projects are run by a project on their early stage. They aim to get funds (for whatever reason), so it's obvious that if they can spend nothing (no real money) for free advertisement then they'd do it. Paying with BTC or any coins/token that has value on the market means they'd lose that money, so of course paying with their own token (which they can create anytime they wanted to) is a better way to go.

That being said, most hunters also don't mind it, so that's that. Unless you start seeing the majority demand payment in liquid token/coin, I doubt this will change.

There are aimply projects who are succeeding which allows participant to taste the fruit of their hardwork but due to the market situation that we are having for years already, only few are being able to succeed, resulting to no pay at all unlike before wherein most of the projects are succeeding which gave huge profit to the users and participants. Maybe at this point, bounty hunter should just choose projects wisely and also, if the project is lucky enough, payments would be sent.

But also, another thing. Nowadays, it is hard to join huge bounty projects due to the 'standards' or requirements in particular with the merit count and quality of the posts. Merit in the first place is hard to be earned which is already a problem to most of the users who desires to participate.

Is there bounty campaign also ask for merit requirements? As i know This is only works in btc payment not in bounties .what i noticed that has change is the signature campaign in bounties, more of the bounties we have here now is only have social media promotion and they removed signature campaign bounty. i dont know why but most of the project i see and visited doesnt have it.

Don't get me wrong I'm not against you hurting for bounties that'll pay you some pocket change for a work that'll probably give them exposure worth thousands of dollars or millions if they successfully sell out their crowdfunding. I'm just here to advice, bounty Hunter shouldn't not only care about the few bucks they receive for promoting a newly launched project but they should ask themselves if that's what the industry truly needs at this moment. Hardly before you see any new idea or innovation from the so called new projects instead it's just a copy and paste of existing project. How then do you expect the industry to progress of the so called enthusiast don't care of its progress instead they're just hurting after their peanut bucks.

While you hurt for the paying bountiful also understand that your decision are also affecting the industry either positively or negatively since you work to create awareness for any project you promote and without this awareness, scams won't get the level of attention they're recieving.

^@CryptopreneurBrainboss as long as you are satisfied with the amount of work you put into and reward you get, it should be fine. The corporate environments on which most of work in they make millions, it does not mean we should give up our jobs, is it?

If one is promoting scam project, they won't be rewarded well for it. I think that is good. It works both ways.

I think that bounty have "merit requirements" because they have limited spots and by amount of merit they decide who to select first, and who to look post history through.

And having only social media campaigns - the reason could be the following. The projects is a scam (and wants to spend as less as possible) or dont have (which is weird) budget to order signature design creation...

Was it really necessary to open another thread for this nonsense? People opened about 100 threads before, explaining people need to do research before investing/bounty hunting or whatever. It's basically common sense.

Instead of hunting for bounties you should better educate yourself in terms of crypto and bitcoin. This knowledge will surely more useful in the future than some garbage altcoins you get from most of the campaigns nowadays.

My 2 cents on this..

Unfortunately, these are just words. Seeing the name of the topic, I expected to see a success story and a demonstration of "some" payments from the bounty in the screenshots.
Yes, the bounty really brings money, most of the projects pay $ 2 -5 $ dollars for several months of work.
