Title: Bitcoinmix.org It's a scam I think Post by: coboguard on April 15, 2020, 08:09:00 AM By looking a little more in the forums or others I find no subjects.
But now I found a very bizarre script at the bottom of the page apparently run in javascript which randomly turns screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/QHTkuBu.png Web archive: http://web.archive.org/web/20200415075803/https://bitcoinmix.org Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiLw-LtV-KgCJ5vS2ePQvwA/videos Twitter: https://twitter.com/bitcoinshuffle Please note this site appears first in the google search results: bitcoinmix.org this site has existed for more than 5 years !. Why does it go unnoticed ?. Title: Re: Bitcoinmix.org It's a scam I think Post by: mocacinno on April 15, 2020, 08:14:06 AM Well, they have a bittrust page that's filled with (what looks like) fake reviews:
http://bittrust.org/bitcoinmixorg The script at the bottom looks like they're boasting with mixes that are currently finished... Bad idear, i wouldn't want to use a mixer that'll tell the whole world that at that precise moment 0.11 BTC was mixed. If somebody would start checking the current mempool/new block they'd have a starting point at breaking this mixer's anonimity. It seems like it once had a support thread here on bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2413192.0 Doesn't seem to positive either.... The discussion defenatly floats towards "fishy" Even if you put all the nontechnical red flags aside, they use cloudflare as a MITM. So even IF their bittrust page looked legit (which is doesn't) and IF their service thread looked positive (which it doesn't) i'd still not use this mixer. |
